DJ Panic:

So anyways a while ago, Sarah was like when I will play music and you will say, wait a minute, we don't have an episode for this group yet, I'm like, no, isn't that weird? I thought you did.

Sarah:

Yeah, i was always like searching madly and I'm like, where is it? I could have sworn we did this And it turns out we had not, we have not.

DJ Panic:

And I'm like, okay, we're surprised because they've been now two years. They debuted on 2021.

Sarah:

Right.

DJ Panic:

So the group that we are going to be chatting is BE:FIRST. Yes, so BE:FIRST is the seven member J-pop group under BMSG Entertainment, a company established by Sky Hi of the group AAA. This is all him. He put all his money into this.

Sarah:

Yeah, I was going to say helping him.

DJ Panic:

He took his money from the you know whatever he has made from AAA and he's like you know, I'm going to make my own company. The group were formed through an audition program called The First. That's what he did. He created Sky Hi And then after that, the group had then released. So from that audition group, the group then released two pre-debut singles and officially debuted on November 3rd of 2021 with the single "Gifted, and then, after that, the fandom Bestie came about, and Bestie is being really kind to us. You know we had, you know we have a few that actually are our subscribers. We're so happy, thank you, thank you, thank you. We appreciate them and they're always boosting not only my show OK A sia but also anything that Music Elixir have. Yes, definitely.

Sarah:

So they're being really really cool. Very active, yes, very active.

DJ Panic:

So I guess, Sarah, we would like to know who are in BE:FIRST, I mean the members first.

Sarah:

Who are the members? Yes, the members of Be First. First we have Junon, main vocals, born May 23rd 1998, gemini, happy belated birthday. Yes. Then we have Leo, who's vocalist and dancer, august 8th 1998. Surprisingly, he is a Leo Right.

DJ Panic:

It must have been his mom, Mom's like. it's probably also like this whole Zodiac thing.

Sarah:

Then we have Ryoki, who is a rapper, vocalist and dancer, april 26, 1999. A Taurus Sota, dancer and rapper, january 18th 2001. Capricorn Manato vocals dancer, rapper, april 29th 2001. Another Taurus Shunto, vocals, rapper, dancer, september 1st 2003. Virgo, our ambitious one right. And finally we got the baby. Baby Ruhei, vocals, november 7th 2006,. Girl, oh my God. He is the baby, yeah, and that makes him a Scorpio. So that's our seven members, wow.

DJ Panic:

Our oldest member is Junon, the main vocalist, 1998.

Sarah:

Well, he and Leo were both 1998. Right, just a few months difference. Yeah, that's true.

DJ Panic:

We're both 98. So those are the senpai's, I guess, of the group.

Sarah:

Yes.

DJ Panic:

So we asked Besty to send out their favorite. You know, tweet us Their five favorites. Of course, everybody with the same thing.

Sarah:

Oh, my God.

DJ Panic:

I love them all. I know how do I pick five, but we picked one, and so the songs that we're going to talk about are Scream, boom, boom Back, message, BF is and Milli Billi. Yeah, milli Billi

Sarah:

Okay, milli Billi, milli, billi, milli Billi.

DJ Panic:

So from this five do you have a fave, I think so yes. Is it your fave, my fave?

Sarah:

I don't know.

DJ Panic:

Lately we haven't been like getting the same fave. Yeah, I know It's weird. It's because we're not like working together anymore in the same office. That could be probably Okay. So the count of three will yell our fave One, two, three.

Sarah:

Millie Billy Boom, boom Back See, oh, that's funny. Milli Billi is my favorite.

DJ Panic:

So Boom, boom Back is yours. Yes, okay, okay, I'm thinking it's got to be the bass.

Sarah:

I did actually really like Milli Billi too, but just it was different. The thing about Boom Boom Back gave me a certain vibe, you know. Yeah, it has attitude.

DJ Panic:

It has to. So we want to start with scream.

Sarah:

Yeah, i was thinking do you want to just go in order of how the…, how the list… …how the list was….

DJ Panic:

…stand over to us. Yes, how Besty gave it to us.

Sarah:

And then, that way we end with yours. That's why I said that. Oh so you only picked it because it would be the last song we talked about. No, Did you hear that? Bestie's Panic's cheating?

DJ Panic:

No, I'm sure there's… No, no.

Sarah:

Oh, man So scream.

DJ Panic:

Yes. So to me that was a power pop. Of course, r&b segments with it. This to me is like a little loud song, of course with the scream, like if you're stressed, scream it out loud. This song to me was like fun. If it was live it would be fun Because you know the guys that are out there. Probably you know asking the besties like scream, and also one of the lines that I like is wanna hear ya scream. Pretty simple, pretty simple.

Sarah:

Right out there tells you Well, I was gonna say this. For me was like a hype song Hyping themselves, hyping the audience. This, to me, was sort of like we want to involve you, the audience, with us. So let's all just scream. We're gonna scream, we want you to scream, we're gonna make you scream. You know what I mean?

DJ Panic:

Y eah

Sarah:

This was just them pumping up the audience and themselves. This is sort of the banter back and forth. Let's get pumped, let's get action, come on.

DJ Panic:

Definitely, this song live is a rowdy one. It's one to get the audience involved, especially with. you know we want to scream or scream.

Sarah:

Well, in those driving drums, throughout the whole thing, i mean, they're just like do, do, do, do, do, do. do You know what I mean? They just keep going. That's what definitely pumps you up.

DJ Panic:

I like that, even though starts really heavy. With that one. I hear you scream and scream, but then it has the melodic parts just to mellow you out, because I know you have giving also your 100% of the screams. So now let's take a chill back and relax Right when the drums start to pump. Up, up, up up, scream, right.

Sarah:

Well, that's the thing is because the drums are very steady at the beginning And they're definitely there to pump you up, but after that melodic part then they get sort of really intense and just like so frenetic, like energized The drums. You can almost feel like the drums decided to join in and be like, yeah, we're getting pumped up. So it was really cool. I love the way it sort of builds up to all of that And just gets the blood pumping and those voices sort of chanting in the background. It was just so cool. I really liked it.

DJ Panic:

It's got to be a crowd pleaser.

Sarah:

Everybody else.

DJ Panic:

You got to be in there and be part of it. Not only BE" being it's the show, but also they want the audience to be part of the show with this song.

Sarah:

Right Definitely Including everybody. It's awesome, definitely a great opener.

DJ Panic:

Yes, so next song.

Sarah:

This is my fave Boom Boom Back. I really liked that. This gave me the 90s boy band hip hop, r&b vibe. It really sort of I don't know it just has that feel. It's got the musicality but it's got the attitude and the voices and the way that everything works. The beats, it's just. It took me back and it was really just sort of that energy. Like I said.

DJ Panic:

Y eah

Sarah:

And at around two minutes and six seconds, as you like to do, there's this flashback feeling to the music itself. They had sort of this wind rushing sound that made you think like you could see the doodly, doodly, doodly of the flashback happening. And then, at two minutes and twenty, it goes back to those beats that you're just, you know, drawn into. It's so cool And I really like just the way they say like never go back. I got the shine. Yes, you know, screaming from the east side to the west side, singing, sorry, from east side to the west side. You know, i mean it, just it was really another one that draws you in and just makes you part of the music. And this is another one that I feel like they're sort of like asking you to be a part of the action and the energy.

DJ Panic:

Right, you know what I mean, yeah, boom Boom Back was to me was another Power Pop song, yeah, but this one with the hip hop instead of the R&B, like on screen. But it was giving me like I'm here, i'm here in the world, just to let you know that I'm here. You know, like what we can do, like what the band can do. And, yeah, my favorite one line that you said I got the shine. It's like I got the shine, you know. And then it's like, yes, coming to the east side, the west side, you know, it's like you're here, we're like we're. Yeah, we might be here in Japan, but we want to let the world know, from the east side to the west side, that we're here and we want to take over the world.

Sarah:

Right, we want to bring everybody. bring everybody into it. Yes, so that's why I feel like this is another one, that they're just including the audience and and the people and being like, yeah, we're just going to to me they just telling the audience Yeah, i'm taking over.

DJ Panic:

You're like include the audience. I'm like, no, we're just letting you know that we are here, right?

Sarah:

But that's including you. They're taking you over.

DJ Panic:

You're going to be a part of the announcing that they're here to the world And I like that. Yes, okay, so you took that route, i took that other route. They're like we're taking over the world And you're like, no, we're including everybody. Well, but because they are there.

Sarah:

We're singing from the east side to the west side.

DJ Panic:

They're including everybody Right, Because they're taking over the world, right, all right, all right. Yes, they are. You don't have to take my bestie, you know, let us know. You know, how do you feel? Are they taking over the world? Or they just like including the world? Or they just like including the world? They're like, that'll be cool. We should put that out there.

Sarah:

Well, i was going to say honestly a lot of their songs that that got chosen for this list. I should say this particular person chose songs where the the band is really like all about saying we're here and we're going to take you on this journey with us. I guess you know I really did. I felt like all of these songs were someone who's like. This is how much they include their fans. This is how much they think about us.

Sarah:

They want us to be on this journey with them, so it was really cool. Yes, yes, yes, yes.

DJ Panic:

So now we're going to talk about message. This is sweet, Yes it is So sweet. I'm like, oh, this is refreshing from the other two songs. So I like this list because message is like this melody is so sweet and lovely To me. This is a person they love, and letting their crush know how they make them feel So cute. Even their voices are so cute Right.

Sarah:

This one I picked sort of as that like 80s anthem. Yeah it has sort of the 80s, early 90s feel It. Actually, for the longest time I was like what it reminded me of something very specific. Right, the intro music reminded me of a Michael Jackson song. Oh, which one. Black and white I don't remember that one. From the early 90s. that It's, it's similar.

DJ Panic:

It's not exactly the same.

Sarah:

Right, right, right. But it was like I was like so that's why I was like, oh my god, this one's another one that sir took, took me back and made me really like nostalgic about something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was going to say, like you, i was like this is sort of a love song, definitely talk about someone, but again, the idea that it's to the fans is what I was thinking. That there, this is a love song to the fans. Yes, you know what I mean.

Sarah:

Yeah, So, that's, that's what I was saying about the whole list seemed like just something about including the, the fans, in everything they do. So, yes, it is, it's very sweet, because it it definitely is, you know yeah, i like lovey dovey.

DJ Panic:

I forgot. I don't know who is the one who sings this word moichido. I'm like oh my god, that is so cute, just the way he says it.

Sarah:

Yes.

DJ Panic:

That is so cute.

Sarah:

Well, well, everything about it, just the the whole idea behind. It's very simple, but very powerful. It's a message to you. You can make it personal. You can make it about everybody around and their voices are so different.

DJ Panic:

You know just to let you know how versatile their voices are from, like the two songs that we just heard, the screen and the boom boom back, that they're just more, a little bit more raw or not as, not as melodic, even though on the R&B for a scream you know that's, that's low, low point or low tempo.

Sarah:

Right, but this one oh it's just sweet.

DJ Panic:

It is Their voices are so different And I'm like, oh my god, I can't believe, this is the same group.

Sarah:

Well, yeah, and the sound altogether is different. And that's what's really interesting is, when you look at, you know who did the writing and the producing and everything Sky-Hi. I mean literally wrote everything. Yeah, he wrote everything.

DJ Panic:

He wrote it. He's like I pay money for this. This is my company. I'm paying for everything, So I'm going to put my name on it. Hey, you know I applaud him Absolutely.

Sarah:

So. So just those. So the different sounds coming out? Yes, in the different influences, obviously, but this one definitely a sweet melodic song.

DJ Panic:

Yeah, we love it.

Sarah:

It's so cute So next song, bf, is dot dot dot. That pretty much tells you it's. They're telling you who they are Exactly And what they're about Exactly, because on this one I did look at least five of them helped write the song. Everybody Was it everybody. It's a whole group? I wasn't sure, because some of the names I was like. well, that's not the names of the members, But no it was.

DJ Panic:

It was all of them, okay, all of them, with Sky-H i. Well, of course He's like I'll give you guys a song so you can get paid. You know, I gotta be in there too. They're not going to say no to their boss.

Sarah:

No, absolutely not, Absolutely not.

DJ Panic:

The song. of course, like we already said, it was composed and written by the group with Sky- Hi. So, yeah, this is the introduction. You know they're introducing themselves to the audience, Who they are, and what they are capable as performers.

Sarah:

Yeah, what they're about and what they're going to bring to you, Oh yes.

DJ Panic:

So this is great. So this is actually the first song of the album, of their first album, b1. I think it is, yes, and it's just perfect. It's perfect, you know, it's a perfect song for their first album.

Sarah:

Yes, definitely.

DJ Panic:

And I'm glad that they worked on it, yay.

Sarah:

Well, it's got great bass. Yes, everybody knows we love great drums and that like the clap cadence of the drums that sort of helps accentuate the chant that they start, you know, like a minute in. So it's really cool. And then of course, there that grinding guitar comes in to sort of drive the point home. So it did have a little rock and roll in there. Yeah, it did After about a minute that something just came. It was like wow wow, wow.

DJ Panic:

Yes, you're like whoa, don't lose themselves.

Sarah:

now, somebody wanted to get paid.

DJ Panic:

They're like this introduction is just not Shredded exactly, and then you know I'm here. Yes, definitely That is so cool And I like that they're. You know they worked on that. That's. That's one of the things that we always talk about. We like it when they work on their own music. You know either writing or composing, doing whatever.

Sarah:

Yeah, how important it is for artists to be included, because that's how they make them, you know, and actually make the money for the auditions When I was reading on it.

DJ Panic:

also, Sky Hi wanted members who knew how to write or compose or both. So he made a great pick, because I mean to how all those qualities are just only singing and dancing, of course, but also will have a capable capable to do compose or write lyrics, You know. so that's cool.

Sarah:

Especially usually the rappers are very much included, yes, in the overall production of the songs, exactly 200, 200 audition for this. Wow.

DJ Panic:

Out of 200, 7 made it. It Isn't that crazy, it is Wow. So you know, that's just to tell you how good, how good they are. But hey, I'm gonna talk about Last but not least, my favorite song from that album. Milli Billi

Sarah:

I did really like this one too, but there was something about boom, boom back. Couldn't help it. It's the attitude. I know why.

DJ Panic:

It's the attitude, especially with one of the kids We're gonna boom, boom, back, back, back.

Sarah:

And then then, then, then, then, then Yes.

DJ Panic:

And I like his side and the other side, so like hey, that's why Hey, we like the hey, that's why you like it. It's so 90s Right.

Sarah:

That's what I say. It totally made me think of the boy band.

DJ Panic:

So Milli Billi hip hop attitude, yes, and the bass. Oh, i'm Jay. Of course Gotta be pumping on this one. This song announced that they are unstoppable, because that's what they said a lot in the lyrics. They even tell you in English The beginning. They said ain't not stopping us. All the phrases like gotta get it now. We're all famous, oh and they're getting there Their popularity Geez girl, they're growing.

DJ Panic:

Yes, And then the other one that I like keep going, no matter what was on all the line, that I'm like yes, boys, yes, love, love, love this song, especially the whole milli, billi, milli, billi, milli. I can't even say it. That's why they're, that's why they're the best They can do. That I can't, and just a bit. But you know what reminded me Justin Timberlake One of those songs. Yeah, sexy back, i think it was. No, not sexy back Anyways, but Justin Timberlake, one of like one of his older albums Which I'm like yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah, i know. I think I know what you're talking about.

DJ Panic:

Which, of course, is a very attitude to song.

Sarah:

Talk about Yeah, exactly.

DJ Panic:

So this was definitely, and the voices are different because they're like a little bit lower, but some there's another member who will go a little bit higher, but then you got a little bit lower and I'm like, oh geez, you give me high and low.

Sarah:

I'm just like wow.

DJ Panic:

Not much of the melodic. This is more Yeah Rap in your face. That's why I love about this guy. Love, love, love, love, love.

Sarah:

Well, this one. to me, it was less about being danceable and more about like street dance, feel It's, so there is dance to it.

DJ Panic:

Yeah.

Sarah:

But it's definitely. this is more about the vocals and the singing And they've got that, like you said, great bass in the rim, tap drums, as opposed to just full on beats. It's like definitely very focused sound. Yeah, that whole Milli Billi I was trying to sing along to. I'm like how are they doing that Milli, milli, billi, billi.

DJ Panic:

Billy.

Sarah:

Right. I can't even begin to keep up. That's how cool they are. How can they do that? So is the meaning of Milli Billi, like millions and billions of people are gonna.

DJ Panic:

Wonder if it's just like Millie Billy is. I was like, is that a slang for something? But I don't know. Millions and billions.

Sarah:

That's what I was thinking. I was like are they? are they trying to say millions and billions are going to start following us Because we are in the game?

DJ Panic:

I just I try to like, look for just that slang. It was giving me another artist, it was a rap artist, ok. But then I was like I don't know if is that, but you know what, and I'm like, ok, just going to let it go like that, maybe bestie will let us know more and inside of what's behind Millie Billy. Yeah, you know, besides just being unstoppable, but just the word Millie Billy, like what is that? Yeah, that's, that's what I was trying to. Or is it a Japanese slang that we don't know?

Sarah:

Oh, that could be, but I was, i was just thinking millions and billions, yeah. And actually one of the things I really liked was towards the end, when you hear the car door open and the ding, ding, ding, ding.

DJ Panic:

Yeah.

Sarah:

And then they slam it and they just tear off. Yeah, that was what made me think that, like that's them cruising off into the sunset And we're going to we're going to take you on a ride.

DJ Panic:

You're bailing out.

Sarah:

That's true.

DJ Panic:

We're screeching.

Sarah:

I was thinking more like we're going to take you on the ride of your life.

DJ Panic:

Well, now that you're saying that screeching tires, we're going to get, they got the millions and the billions and we got to bail out. You know, got the millions and the billions and we got to get out. But no, yeah, we would like to know more. What's behind that. But definitely, but on the phrases it's just like, yeah, we're unstoppable, we're going to do whatever.

Sarah:

We want This is going for the gusto here. Yes going for the gold.

DJ Panic:

Yes, yes, yes. So it's Doom, doom, ah.

Sarah:

Doom, doom, doom.

DJ Panic:

Milly, milly, billy, billy, milly, billy, billy billy.

Sarah:

I mean, there's like A tongue twister, It is. Most definitely, oh my God, but everything was just, it was awesome And in this whole playlist seem to be sort of the take you on the journey with them, whether it be join us in screaming or come follow us or be part of it, or we love you, mm. Hmm, join us on our journey, our wonderful journey, so very cool, very cool.

DJ Panic:

Yes, so thank you for besty.

Sarah:

See, i know for bringing it to our attention. Yes, i was always going, don't we have an?

DJ Panic:

episode on these guys. I know And I'm like, i'm off, i'm anything, i'm surprised I don't have it And we have not recorded an episode on their album?

Sarah:

No, and you play them all the time. Yes, I couldn't believe we didn't have one, and I know I'm surprised. Now was it thanks to the Google Doc? Is that where you said right, The most comments came in about doing them? because I've never seen it on the actual Twitter.

DJ Panic:

Exactly See. remember when I said let me just create this Google Doc because I know a lot of some fans are a bit shy or afraid to speak on Twitter Right, because you know Twitter's drama.

DJ Panic:

If you want drama, just find it on Twitter, no matter what you say or do. Oh yes, so that's why I'm like, you know, let me just make that Google Doc so people can make their requests anonymously. Right, you know, we're not even those asking you for to log in with an email. It's just because I don't want any bots. Yeah, oh yeah.

DJ Panic:

But, we do not take your emails, but if you do want to say where you you know requesting from, i would say if you want to leave a name, or at least leave us the country in the city that you're you know requesting from. So we know that exactly, even though we know that Japan is number one.

Sarah:

Well, i would like to know like what other regions you know well because, as you know, we'd like to compile all the data and say oh hey, so many countries, so many, whatever, So exactly So we like to know where people are listening from or requesting from So, yeah, definitely from that, people have made that request and they'd be more vocal on it.

DJ Panic:

Or, of course, when I ask hey, tell me your so when it comes to the particular group. Then everybody's like, yay, oh my God, the we got close to a hundred. You know lists, lists, yeah. And then a few that people that's like why don't you send it over to your Google?

Sarah:

thing which it was fine.

DJ Panic:

And so I'm like okay, so I just did the number generator and it was like number 87.

Sarah:

Ah well, i was going to say when looking at the the requests coming in, i was like wow, almost everybody had scream on there.

DJ Panic:

Yes.

Sarah:

Almost everybody had boom boom back.

DJ Panic:

Yes.

Sarah:

So those were. We're going to be on it no matter what. Yeah, I have a feeling I think message was pretty popular too.

DJ Panic:

I saw that a few times. Yes.

Sarah:

But it was definitely scream and boom boom back.

DJ Panic:

Yeah, yeah, those are the crowd, apparently the crowd pleasers, for, like besties, they seem to really, really love those two songs.

Sarah:

Crowd pleaser for me for sure, boom, boom back. Oh, my goodness.

DJ Panic:

And scream, of course, yeah.

Sarah:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

DJ Panic:

You know, that's the definitely everybody's like scream, cause you don't have to really use vocal to just go Ah Yeah, so it's fun, and it's just when you scream you do really really some stress.

Sarah:

Well, and it releases endorphins. It's like exercising that action.

DJ Panic:

That adrenaline gets pumping back to that from the last episode. You know like your ex is like missing the gym.

Sarah:

No, no, it's just well remember Ages ago there was something someone was saying even the action like a fake smiling tricks your body into thinking that you're smiling and releases endorphins and it makes you happy just because you did.

DJ Panic:

This reminds me Remember when we did the office meeting, Yes, And we had the crazy lady. I wanted to. I wanted to remember the, the actual name she was giving herself to this. I don't remember It was laughing yoga. Oh yeah, yeah.

Sarah:

Or just laugh yoga.

DJ Panic:

It was something with yoga, but it was laughing. in yoga We did not do any yoga poses. What she had us do is just do some laughs, right. And we're like just go. ha ha ha. Exactly. And people are like, oh my god. Well, we can tell that lady never did it last at the office. She only stayed there for like three months. But you know, everybody after doing that it's like oh my god, this is so silly. We're like ha ha ha. And then we're just like ha ha ha ha.

Sarah:

Well then we just start laughing.

DJ Panic:

Exactly. Well, I guess. okay, maybe you made us laugh. This is a very laughable meeting, At least we're getting paid, But exactly So.

Sarah:

My point is is that sort of the same thing? So just the screaming actually does make you feel better because you're letting out all this pent up energy.

DJ Panic:

Exactly All the yeah, pent up energy and the staleness that you feel stale.

Sarah:

Right, you know no, well, that's awesome. Yeah, i think that that's actually in retrospect.

DJ Panic:

And then you go to the concert like, oh man, i'm exhausted, right.

Sarah:

Well you're, you know any anxiety, anxiousness you have. If you just scream, you do you feel better? Yeah, you've just let everything out. So that's why we like live shows because you can do that.

DJ Panic:

I know Cause my favorite song Ah, i love you. My favorite member, yes, exactly, he gave me a kiss, he kissed. We better not give him a kiss, but blew me a kiss, even though you got like hundreds of million of people behind you.

Sarah:

Hey, what's me?

DJ Panic:

What's me? That was all for the delulu, the delulu.

Sarah:

So, anyways, we got a little sidetracked just now because we're talking about how their music makes you feel just definitely inclusive and loved and appreciated.

DJ Panic:

So awesome, great playlist, yes, i just want to say thank you to Sky- Hi for actually, you know, saying you know, i'm just going to start my own entertainment company And he's one that he is. He used, like I said, he's using his own money. He is letting the world know about his company. He is not shy about social media. He wants participation everywhere. You know he has his members and the company on all social media is out there. They also YouTube videos, dance practice or you know anything, anything that he's involved with their members or groups or talent. He's out there just saying, oh yes, this is what's going on with this person. Oh, it's going on with this other group. And now we have new group that came out. I'm not going to say who it is, but I'm getting a lot of requests for that group as well, which is the baby after, of course, b, first right Besties know who they are, but yeah, we would like to dedicate also an episode on them as well.

DJ Panic:

So Sky High, definitely He's like music in the Japanese music has no boundaries. Japanese music should actually be known to the world and he's doing a great job. As we know, some companies in Japan they pigeonhole themselves just take into Japan, but not him. I mean he even has created, a BEFIRST global, which all those tweets are in English, so he just you know, he's bringing you know BEFIRST to the world right, Because that's part of things he couldn't do previously prior projects, I guess you could say now that he's breaking out on his own doing all of this.

Sarah:

He's making his own rules and that's awesome, you know, so definitely share with the world. Thank you, Sky- Hi Yeah.

DJ Panic:

Sky- Hig we love you. You're awesome. You know he's a busy man and these kids love him. These kids love him.

Sarah:

I was going to say because, wasn't it? he was hosting a show, the show that all of them were on, and then, once they were sort of picked, he was like I have to do something with this. I mean, that's sort of how it happened. It wasn't. I didn't think he was the one producing the show.

DJ Panic:

I thought he was just involved in it.

Sarah:

And then he was like no, I'm going to pick up this ball and run with it.

DJ Panic:

No, it was his audition.

Sarah:

Oh, it was his Oh.

DJ Panic:

OK, and then he also had actually CHANMINA participated as one of the judges. Ok, part for, to also pick the audition in the. In the audition.

Sarah:

But oh, that's all him. Oh, all right, i thought it was something else, in that he had just been part of what was going on, and then he was like I'm going to take this and run with it, kind of thing.

DJ Panic:

No, but no, oh he's so he wanted all the auditions, ok, ok, like I said, he took all his money and did this. All right, he is. This is all his show.

Sarah:

Oh, awesome. That's even cooler than because, like I said, I thought it was just part of something he was involved with And he sort of moved it to the next step. But awesome. I must have misunderstood what I was reading. It was just an article I was looking at And it was just something it said, like he was a co-host thing for the first. Like I said, I might have misread it. It might have been the translation I was reading, you know?

DJ Panic:

OK, we can fact check that And also besties you can tell us to. You can use that The formal list. You want to do a Twitter thing? Yep.

Sarah:

Either the either the Google Doc or just tweeted on out, but so that's either way is really awesome, because if he just funded it all himself, wow, kudos to him. And if he took something that was happening and sort of was like no, this has to happen, you know, and ran with it, that's right, that's cool too, either way. Well, you know one of my favorite songs from Christmas Sky- Hi with Chanmina. Yes, Chanmina is awesome.

DJ Panic:

I love both of them She is one that is like missed. She doesn't get talked about too much, you know, and she's amazing. She's another amazing female rapper. Yes, Mr. Sky- Hi is 36 years old. Wow, yeah, from.

Sarah:

Chiba. Oh, one of our other faves is from Chiba. Yeah, yeah. Actually I was surprised at how young Sky- Hi is. I was like wow, because he's obviously been around performing for a long time. But then to have so much under his belt, as far as all of this goes, I was like wow, that's really young very cool.

DJ Panic:

I can't find too much on this site, you know Well.

Sarah:

Either way, yes, He saw something, he saw potential, he knew what to do Definitely, and he got it done. So now we have Be First and much more.

DJ Panic:

Yes, more to come, I'm sure, much more Definitely Awesome. So, thank you, Sky- Hi. Yes, and thank you, Besty and thank you to the Besty. Yes, we enjoy the playlist, thank you, thank you, thank you And keep them coming. You know the things that you guys will like us to chat about. Besides our rant and rambling, which is like everywhere, you talk about every topic or anything going on, which there's some things that happen after that episode, we can talk about doing other rants and rambling. Yes, definitely, all right, cool, thank you everybody, thank you everybody You know.

DJ Panic:

Sarah:

DJ Panic:

You know, I think on the last episode, if you guys notice, we have a transcription it's an experiment, right, it's a testing phase.

Sarah:

You may have noticed, we tried not to talk over each other this time to help the system.

DJ Panic:

But anyways. So baby steps, baby steps.

Sarah:

Considering it's still in the beginning phases, i think that it worked out pretty well And hopefully it worked out for you, the listeners and people who needed the transcription to help us follow along and understand what we say, sometimes because we're a little excitable, oh my goodness.

DJ Panic:

I know, girl, we can get so like extra ridiculous, all right. So thank you everybody, till next time, bye-bye, bye-bye.
