OK ASIA

Speaker 1:

Hello, this is Tannick.

Speaker 2:

And this is Sarah and you are listening to Music Elixir a podcast between two friends discussing their favorite Asian artists in music Alright hello, how's it going?

Speaker 1:

So I looked up high biscuits and they're in the family of the Malva Cade I don't know what, that is Okay so. I'll have to check, yeah.

Speaker 2:

In case anybody's wondering, I'm having a bad reaction to something, miss.

Speaker 1:

Sarah's face is like a tomato Tomato.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Not to give you an accent More than I already have. And so you're thinking probably is a new product that you're wearing. Yeah, am I giving you a reaction.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, something I tried yesterday and I think it's sort of like delayed reaction today that I'm having, because I'm red and puffy and I've got little welts all over, but it's on my neck too, which I didn't put it on my neck. Okay, I don't know what that could be from.

Speaker 1:

Okay, Well, read the ingredients on it and then you're like oh my goodness, it has this, whatever.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, because I am allergic to some flowers and I'm wondering if it's part of a family of flowers that I'm actually allergic to. No, yay, right, yeah, great, but it's funny because, speaking of which, so, I've got sort of like, almost like scratch welts on my neck. Yeah, I had a dream last night, okay. So when I saw this on my neck, I was like what is going on? It's before. I noticed that my face was red and puffy too.

Speaker 2:

But I had had a dream, yeah, that you and I were at some big event because we were wearing like fancy dresses, okay, and we were in a room where everyone was like, oh, okay, I got to put on my makeup, and so everybody's putting on their makeup. And I was like, damn, I forgot mine. I was like what am I going to do? I don't know. So I left the room and then suddenly I felt someone grab my neck and start strangling me, yeah, and then I don't remember much else. But so when I woke up and saw that on my neck, I was like, oh my God, what happened?

Speaker 1:

OMG yeah, your own body was telling you like, Wake up, you're having an allergic reaction.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it was very strange. Oh, but it was like, yeah, I walked out into this hallway and just I felt hands go around my neck and I was like what's going on? Oh my God, yeah, isn't that weird. Yeah, like I said, it was almost like it was like an awards show or something, because everybody was wearing evening gowns and stuff, and it was just bizarre. Wow, it's very strange.

Speaker 1:

It looked, it sounded like one of those mystery. I got that Christie. Oh yeah, you know the night of the like the whole brush Wrangler, yeah you know that's right.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, but it was. It was just weird, but we all seem to be having a good time. You know, it was just when I was like, oh, I don't have makeup. It was like I was leaving the room to go see if I could find makeup Right, and then someone grabbed me.

Speaker 1:

Oh it was very strange. We were wearing like, like cocktail gowns or like really bold kind of like like full length, yeah, wow. Fancy gowns. Okay, any colors, or was it black?

Speaker 2:

and white, yours was red, oh, mine was gold, oh, like sequinny, full on.

Speaker 1:

Well, red and gold or something Well, red and gold, at least in the for the Chinese. Oh, you know it's, it's, it's fortune, and prosperity.

Speaker 2:

Well, I got strangled.

Speaker 1:

That's not good. Well, I don't know we can Well. Hello everybody. It's not a ransom rambling, but today we're going to be doing a July recap.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh, the episode that we have done this week. It has, because I started working, our schedule it's a little bit different. As you can tell, we have been posting on Wednesdays instead of Sundays.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And it's because we had to make some changes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we had to rearrange because trainings for you and and stuff going on and it's just been easier to try and get together on the weekends to do this. But that doesn't give a whole lot of time to prep it up for release, so we've been delayed.

Speaker 1:

We have lives. This is not our podcast. This is not our full time job. We wish, we wish you know that this could be our full time job and you know it will be different, but we have regular jobs. Now I can go to an office. I don't have to say I'm unemployed, you know. So it's our schedule has been different. Yes, but we love to bring you at least a podcast where you can chuckle and laugh with us or if there's something that you're going through the similar as we are. You know you can feel. You know, oh, my God, my goodness, I went through the same thing, this. You know you don't feel alone.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, you know you don't feel alone and we've we've posted about our Google form and how you can, you know, feel free to send us comments or suggestions, you know, or just chat, I guess. Yes, please, you can do that. You can do that on our Twitter or Instagram or you can do it on the Google form if you don't want everybody knowing what you're doing. So, yes, we don't post anybody's personal stuff, no, but yeah. So what did? What did we do? Well, we talked about a lot of stuff. So we had our interview, yes.

Speaker 2:

Third interview, yeah, and that was exciting, mm hmm, second lady was second lady interview and they've been very busy. They've got some events coming up, some festivals and stuff, so definitely check them out. I was trying to think like sort of news wise, but also stuff we talked about Jungkook single that came out. He's like number one, oh yeah, and he just won awards, but it's funny seeing all of the fan comments like people who are I have not checked the fan comments that you told me it's insane because you know there's a lot of people's solo stands.

Speaker 2:

they call them people who like one member more than the others. And yeah, and as you know, jimin had released his album mini album back in February, I believe it was, and he was number one for a while doing really well. So now of course, you have the JK fans versus the Jimin fans, who are like the company's dissing Jimin and promoting JK. And I was like, well, I remember a whole lot of promotions for Jimin stuff. I mean, like the fans when they when they have their bias and really into them. Yeah, it's amazing how they turn on the rest of the group where I'm like these guys they're their brothers and they support each other all the time. So these things you know everyone. Oh, and don't even get started on everybody's like Taeyang gets totally tanked by the company.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god.

Speaker 2:

I'm like he hasn't even done his solo stuff yet. No, yeah, Cool your jets it's coming.

Speaker 1:

You know. So we had Jimin first, then we had Hello D yeah, nobody's talking about that. Even those was number one on today's okay Asia. And then cookie. So the beef is with these. Fan is just Jimin and cookie Right right now. Oh, please come on.

Speaker 2:

They feel like now I mean Auguste actually for Suga they've. They have been promoting a lot Weverse and on Twitter. You know his concert Because he went it was now. X, no longer Twitter. Oh, that's right. X. Sorry, that's okay.

Speaker 1:

X.

Speaker 2:

Twitter. It's funny. I got I was what did I do? I would. I think I was posting something, but it was like X has done what. I was like what the hell is X? Omg? I was like what the hell are they? They can't tell me the name of what. And then I was like oh wait, that's right. Yeah, you know, someone decided that, you know the someone is Elon Musk girl, I know. I don't want. I hate even talking about him. I know.

Speaker 2:

But um anyways yes, so on X they were promoting August. It wasn't so much his album that they were promoting, it was the concert. Okay, you know what I mean, his tour, but I mean you know it all started last year with J-Hope Mm-hmm coming out with his album. Yeah, and he went and did Lollapalooza and then RM came out with indigo. Jin dropped astronaut, which was just a single. You know what I mean. So I'm gonna talk about and maybe it's because of his quick decision to just go ahead and join enlist in the military that he Didn't have time to put together an album and stuff. But everybody they've bring been bringing that up to. They're like what about Jin? He didn't get you know any type of Promotions and whatnot. It's like he didn't have a whole lot of time. Plus, he's gonna be out Mm-hmm while everybody else is still in the military. Maybe he's saving his For when he gets back Mm-hmm, because that's what they've been trying to do with the band is just keep a rolling series of releases and Whatever shows projects, whatever they're doing?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, just to keep keep them active so that you're not sort of missing Too much all at once. You know it's not like the whole band's just gone, but it's just like I said, it's kind of funny because you know you do in any group you have your favorites. But we've talked about this so many times, like if you like the group, you you can't just single out one person and and say that they're the hub of the, the band. Oh yeah, because as a group they all created the music as BTS. Exactly now that they're doing solo stuff, you don't. You don't think they're supporting each other. So why are you having a war for them about? You know their treatment. They're all doing what they want at the pace they want to. You know whatever? Oh, but speaking of, did you see V's Esquire spread? No, oh, they did a little. He's the Celine ambassador, also Cartier Ambassador, but I think it was Esquire. Korea specifically had like three little Mini videos of him doing some modeling stuff. Holy, hot, wow.

Speaker 1:

Well, hello yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm sure he is. So I'm like don't worry, like I don't think he's too worried about his music solos coming out. He's doing his modeling and he's really enjoying it. It's just like I'm not gonna do anything, I'm just gonna look Hot and whatever you know well, he has been Even apparently working on music, so it's due out at some point, but he's doing what he wants to do right now.

Speaker 2:

Which is model Anyway. So that was you know. Oh and oh yeah, there's so much the. The whole beef with Lotto on on JK single oh, what happened? Came out. She's been deleting past posts because she had some sort of Racist kinds of things where she sort of made fun of you eat, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and I don't know. You know sort of just. So people are just called inappropriate stuff.

Speaker 1:

Well, remember when BTS did the idol and then they put Nicki Minaj and everybody was having a cow and I'm like why?

Speaker 2:

Nicki Minaj.

Speaker 1:

And then her previous album, before she did the collaboration with idol, and she was pretty much naked, you know, with you know the way that she was posting, of course it was just Covering the important. Yeah, pretty much. She was naked on the cover of that album and Army was not having it, you know. Yeah, well, that's I mean.

Speaker 1:

I mean how she's well, what about when they had that also problem that Snoop Dogg was gonna appear, because Snoop Dogg is all about pot and you know he's a gangster and it's. The boys have always Loved hip-hop.

Speaker 1:

Yes, they have always that they you know RM Sugar, sugar as well as J hope J hope they have been all about the West Coast, his hip-hop. So come on. So those who are like, oh my god, why then? Why? First of all is because the boys admire people that are in the hip-hop industry, that are in rap, mm-hmm, all right. So those could be newer armies that have no no idea of why it has to be a hip-hop artist. And you gotta know that hip-hop artists, majority have attitude.

Speaker 1:

Yes, definitely, Anyways so there you go.

Speaker 2:

But this is. This isn't just about, you know, being half naked on an album cover or smoke and dope. This is she's actually said things that are just not good and, of course, the way people are. They went researching everything and found all this stuff and, like I said, she's apparently been deleting it. But yeah, too little, too late.

Speaker 1:

She kind of thing. Well, you know she put out her two cents just to get some. You know, stir up the pot. Probably stir up the pot too much. And now people are like girl mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

Well, it's sort of the whole. You know, if that's how you feel, why are you working with this South Korean artist? And? And then people are like, oh, just for the clout cuz, yeah, you know, now they're number one. And it's like, well, hey, you know, everybody looking out for number one, so what? I?

Speaker 1:

have seen if the collaboration is with a quote-unquote clean artist culpably Versus ones that speak their mind. They have something to say and they are Racy. You know they got an attitude. It's like you are here for clout pretty much. So that's what it's what it looks like from. I seen some of the fans right, yeah, their perspective.

Speaker 2:

So huh. And I have to say, though, also, you know, let's just keep rolling with this, all of this stuff about JK song 7, mm-hmm, he has the clean version, the explicit version, and I don't know if we sort of touched on this before, but, like, when they say explicit, you know there's gonna be either Suggestive content or swearing. Yep, if you're opposed to that, then don't listen to it. Right, it's that simple, like people are. He's changed blah, blah and and talk about. You know it changes the song, and I was like, well, no, it doesn't. The song, either way, is about sex. Oh, yeah, it's about sex, it really is. Yeah, you can try, and you know, it's just one. Is the the like candles and roses and angels singing above the bed a bit more romantic? Yes, and the other one is let's go to the car in the parking lot of the club right now.

Speaker 1:

I can't take. You know I can't take this anymore. I need to have you right here, right now.

Speaker 2:

That's it, yeah, and. And it doesn't nest. It changes the tone, it changes the mood, but it doesn't change. The overall meaning of the song is that he just wants you and he wants you now Mm-hmm, either in a loving, beautiful way or in a raw animal. Let's just do it. But again, they tell you. It's explicit, for a reason exactly. And if you don't want to hear that kind of Stuff, don't listen.

Speaker 1:

We listen to the clean version.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, there's a clean version and when I sing the song to myself, I am always singing the explicit version. I do not know why.

Speaker 1:

Because that's you and that's what you like in my head and you prefer that?

Speaker 2:

one I.

Speaker 1:

Just been listening to the clean version because that's what I play on okay.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was gonna say you have a reason.

Speaker 1:

You know, I mean I can, I'm allowed to play explicit lyrics between the hours of 10 pm and 6 and 6 am, of course, if I am, if, if there is one that's good has the because Plainly has the e, which is explicit.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I will listen to the song first. If has too much swearing, then I'll be like uh, no. But if they just say the f word once, I'm like oh, that's it, I'll just put it on, because, come on, you know. But of course, cookie, the not clean version, every other word, exactly it's repeated. So I'm like no, no. When I heard the original, I'm like oh, no, no. And I'm like is there a clean? I'm like oh, good, thank God there's a clean version.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I put that there like one fridge. Oh he, he was saying that repeatedly and I was like man, I can't play this one the on the street with J Cole. Yeah, and I'm like oh man, I'm like no, and there was no clean version, so I'm like okay, Well, it's J Cole there is no. I was like okay, so no. Unfortunately no.

Speaker 2:

I can't play this one. Well, I was gonna say too, with your show. Even though here You're between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am, mm-hmm. Most of your listener base is actually somewhere where it's, you know, daytime. They might be at work or something, and if you're listening you don't want to. That's why.

Speaker 1:

I always play at the beginning of the program. You know that. You know some of the songs played will have adult language. You know listener discretion, yeah, vice. So I always put that warning. So if you, like Sara said, if you're a work listening and you hear the F word and your boss is like what, I'm not trouble, you were, but you I did give you a notice.

Speaker 2:

So exactly, omg. So, yeah, man, all right. So that was. That was my little sort of rant about all that, just because I've been seeing all of the stuff in various Places and forms and I'm just like, wow, really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, when I see something like that trending, I'm like I'll look at it, I'll see the first few and then, if it gets, if the first few are the same number, yeah, whatever, I'm not gonna even gonna keep, you know I don't, I don't comment on them, I don't post.

Speaker 2:

You know, repost I might. Just I'm looking to see exactly what's going on because, like I said, it just it always baffles me. Yeah, and of course they have the, the shippers, so people are oh yeah. Although I was thinking about. I was like geez, they don't really do that much with Japanese artists, but then I was thinking Arashi, they had like Sakuraiba, omaya Jintoshi.

Speaker 1:

So I was like oh, you know, I guess they do actually, but it's more subdued, or they just keep it more into like a different way, I think it's. It's maybe a live journal.

Speaker 2:

Well, well, no, no. I've seen it other places. It's just. I think with them it was more about just this is the pairing like. It's not a romantic Ship, it's more this is the best buddy combination at the moment, kind of thing.

Speaker 1:

Well, the one I have seen a lot is the Fumakken. Oh, yes, yes it's very, very popular, but they of course, always for promotional. They always well. Well, they used to be a unit before right.

Speaker 2:

Well, I don't see. I don't see them getting treated, though, as like their over romantic couple. It's just, there's a pairing that's most popular other common. You know what I mean. You have. You have seen the, although they flirt with each other shamelessly you have seen the, you know the twin brothers.

Speaker 1:

They call them twin brothers because sometimes, for some reason, kenti can morph into Fuma and vice versa. Yes, fuma can morph into like Kenti and it's like wait a minute, is that can't get four? You know it's it's ridiculous.

Speaker 2:

Well, it's what happens. You spend so much time together, you. You pick up each other's mannerisms and way of standing with a little Pisces connection.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're both Pisces, oh.

Speaker 2:

My gosh, that's right. So there you go. Well, it's sort of like how you and I sometimes blurt out the same thing at the same time.

Speaker 1:

Well, now that you say that the AI is confusing us, oh god, our voices, for some reason. The AI, I think that is, we're the one person. Oh really, yes, we're morphin.

Speaker 2:

That because that didn't happen the first time.

Speaker 1:

Well, now it's like ah man, how can this be? You know, how can, how can we change? I mean, I'm I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I'll talk deeper.

Speaker 1:

So it's weird, so I don't. Yeah, yeah, I don't know I I was gonna send them an email to bus brown and be like listen, it's like you know I'll I'll be saying a whole full like of Paragraph or just having a you know be saying something, and then all the sudden it puts you down as If it was you and like admit, I don't know Well maybe.

Speaker 2:

Maybe, if you pause, it thinks it's changing Speakers.

Speaker 1:

No, no go around, I'll check an email to the retake me like. I know it's still in the new process, but sometimes, when I'm even with you, it will be, you will be. Let's say a whole sentence Saying about something and it says is me, that's where I will like us.

Speaker 2:

I wonder if it Again, if we pause and start talking again, if it thinks it's changing Speakers or if we go back and forth. You know, I say something, you say something, even briefly, even if we're not talking over each other, if it just Senses that pause and thinks it's switched. I don't know, because I don't think our voices sound the same.

Speaker 1:

No, oh, no, oh yeah. Okay, maybe if we start, you know, picking up accents, then you know it will, it will distinguish which one is the Spanish and which was the the American, anyway. So I looked up the meaning of a gold dress.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, or gold. Sorry, everybody, we're back to my dream.

Speaker 1:

Not sorry, something sorry.

Speaker 2:

They should know very well what musical extra is about what you sorry about you know what it's not like a genuine Sorry, it's just a word to say no stop it.

Speaker 1:

So let's see, I had it right here. Oh, okay, a dream, no, dream about wearing a dress that shines, the gold dress in a dream, and the interpretation of a dream about wearing a dress that shines. And you said you had sequence. Yes, it was a sequence. Okay, a dream is one of the things that arouse a person's curiosity and they may have great impact in His daily life. I don't know why they say in his it's daily life. Let's go with that. I'm on the dreams. Okay, I'm not that. Seeing the gold dress in a dream, what is the interpretation? It is related to luck or happiness or something else. In this article we will talk about the meanings of the gold dress. Dream suggestions is impact in the future life. They have this awesome dress on now. I wonder Okay, seeing a gold dress in a dream is an indication that goodness will enter the dreamers life in the upcoming days. Oh, okay, you're not married and you're not divorced. So got meanings for it if you're married and if you're divorced, what about single? They?

Speaker 2:

seem to think that you can only be married or divorced.

Speaker 1:

I guess interesting for a woman that is married but you're not married, and then let's see Well for single women. This vision indicates her marriage to a good young man in the near future.

Speaker 2:

Look out on. All of them are young. It doesn't matter, all of them are younger than me. He's definitely much younger. Yep, interesting, yeah, well, and you know it's funny. I was talking to one of my friends a while back. We were having dinner and I was. I was just mentioning, you know, my many Loves in the Asian music world and she told me a funny thing. She said well, if you take their age, yeah, times two, okay, minus four, okay, as long as that's your age or higher.

Speaker 1:

Okay, you're good. Does it have to be about the mental issue? Mental issue, well, you know, male, male seem to be less.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm, yeah, I don't know. But so say like okay, dice, case 30, correct, he just turned 30. Yes, so Times two is 60 minus four. Fifty six. I'm well below that. That's good. Oh, you get what I'm saying. Yeah, so that's how this works.

Speaker 1:

Say, like the cookie 25 50 minus four is only 46.

Speaker 2:

No, no, not, not, not a good match for me, no, no, but I'm just saying so. That's how it works. Okay, this is. This is what my friend told me.

Speaker 1:

So I'm like, basically Well, if they're under 30s, you're good, and in their under 40s, you're good Right.

Speaker 2:

Well, I think you know what is it. 27, I think. Is you gotta the youngest Right? Yeah, youngest I can go, and you know okay, who did that category fuma? Oh, there's a lot of them. Oh yeah. So my gold dress, there you go, I'm younger man. No matter what, I'm good, okay, but no, there's more about the single woman.

Speaker 1:

I found okay if a single woman sees a long dress, long gold dress, in her dream. This is evidence of Preserving honor and pride. Oh, wow. It also indicates that she will enjoy a lot of cover and Preserve her reputation and that's of her family.

Speaker 2:

So even though I'm gonna be marrying a younger man, it won't affect anybody. I think your family will have a cow.

Speaker 1:

Especially your dad.

Speaker 2:

Basically still, even at my age, my dad still no one's good enough for me.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, so now I think that's all dad. So, this website is funky, so they say okay, something about younger man. Now it says, however, seeing the long dress in a dream does not necessarily mean marriage, but rather indicates the entry of a goodness into her life. All right, baby partner?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1:

Therefore she must remain optimistic and pray a lot oh.

Speaker 2:

Dear lord, bring me a younger man.

Speaker 1:

I love to obtain goodness and happiness in her life. Okay, since the dream is a Circulating in society, she must interpret this dream with caution and not rely on it completely. That is too funny, though. It is well, so basically yeah.

Speaker 2:

I just should be looking forward to the coming days.

Speaker 1:

All right, exactly so. Okay, so for red. Red is often associated with powerful feelings, for passion and desire. A powerful, a powerful and life-changing Dream can involve seeing or wearing red threat at our red dress. It may also represent strength, assurance, sensuality and desire. So wearing and seeing red in your dream could reflect your feelings and emotions.

Speaker 2:

So I'm feeling all the passion in the, the confidence, the strength, the. Assurance Sensuality you in your red dress, right, but I'm wearing the gold, which means I'm gonna find my younger man. All right, that's all good.

Speaker 1:

There you go. You should look up strangling, feeling of strangling. That's gonna negate all the red and gold, it could be. It could be like, yeah, you will reach to that, but then this will happen. You're gonna get the smack it could be sometimes when your dream it gives you something negative, it just comes out to be something positive right?

Speaker 2:

Well, because everybody Think of tarot cards. They're like, oh no, the death card. But it doesn't mean literal death, it means that I'm change and change usually means that your way of thinking about something has died off. You've changed your mind About what it is, so it's, that's all it is, so maybe strangling.

Speaker 1:

So you did. You saw the person. No, when you know so just dreaming of being strangled. I'm just gonna look for that, yeah, straight up, somebody grabbed my Okay choking in your dream symbolizes feeling restricted by a situation or a person and the inability to make any choice or Movement. It indicates that you are currently in a hopeless situation or mindset. Furthermore, if you're forced to do something, you feel burdened and challenged to continue on this path. What's been bugging you? The podcast no.

Speaker 2:

Maybe it was, maybe that was just the anxiety because we had something planned and we decided to hold off on it so we had more time. So maybe because we hadn't talked about changing up what we did today, I was worried about trying to cram that in and be ready for that. So that might be what that was.

Speaker 1:

I was going to reach out to you too, because I'm not really ready just because of my schedule, and yesterday I did really quick notes while I was doing my power walk in the mall.

Speaker 2:

That was interesting.

Speaker 1:

That was interesting. But I did it and I'm like, oh, I can do this. I'm like I got something new under my pocket that I can do this. But yeah, the episode, of course we wanted to make it Be more into that. We don't want to half-ass it.

Speaker 2:

So that was concerning me last night, as I was like, oh, we're going to be getting together and I am so not ready. I was like maybe I can sort of just wing it. I was like, no, when I woke up this morning I was like I can't wing it. So actually, that may be what it was.

Speaker 1:

So yesterday I was voicing it out because, since we have the Pisces connection, I'm like let me voice it out. So I said to family I'm not ready for the podcast. I have nothing for this person which I don't. This is not fair, no, exactly. So I'm like I and it was yesterday I was cramped. I was trying to get the show already lined up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And so of course it was way too early for you. I'm like I'm not going to wake you up. Then I had that lengthy training yesterday that when you were texting me I was like, oh my God, I can't reply, I gotta be on this damn thing. So I did how I don't do not disturb, but you know. So I'm like that's why I was not fully there on communicating with you, you know. But yeah, and I'm like I have nothing. I'm like I'll tell Sarah on Saturday, saturday morning I beat you to it.

Speaker 2:

I was like, oh, how do I tell her I am so not ready?

Speaker 1:

I was in the middle of actually writing an article for for my blog, for Ocasio's blog, which you know. I'm like, let me get this to me. You know, eat the frog on this one, and I gotta get Sarah soon. I'm like, oh cool, she texts me like I'm like the Pussy, I'm like the piezics connection, and I was voicing it out, so she got my vibe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so that was. That was probably what I was. The stress and you know, trepidation towards something was. I was just like, oh, she's going to kill me, I'm not ready. No, I'm not.

Speaker 1:

I'm like I'm not ready either. I was going to be like you're going to do a lot of the talking.

Speaker 2:

All right, so well. This means then, we both have this this week to sort of sort out our thoughts. Get it, get it pinned down, because we want this to be, yes, to be good.

Speaker 1:

Now this is going to be a new work week for me coming up, so I don't know how that's going to pan. Yeah, I guess I'll tell you more. I'm like, I'm what I'm doing, but I'm there until five before. We used to leave a little bit earlier, right? I was able to prepare for it. Now I cannot do that, you know, but I'm able to probably work remotely next week, which I hope, those two days will be easier. And since I'll be home, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'll be able to actually have my computer and then do some you know gotcha.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I know I'm not going to worry about you, but at least I have some work on that episode.

Speaker 2:

I've got very little. That's why I was like oh my God, so I can flush it out next week.

Speaker 1:

It's just like bare minimum on some stuff. Mm, hmm, that's what I was going to. Yeah, yeah, so all good. Before I go to the show, before I go to the station, I take a nap. I dreamt that somebody gave me two money orders. I don't know, there was a faceless person. All I saw was a hand and two money orders. For what? One was for $800 and the other one for $168. Weird, that was Friday night, as you know, through the show come home and I take a nap. I was on the couch. I just completely died for some reason. Even during the show, I was yawning my head off like I couldn't.

Speaker 2:

Again, it's the heat, it's the weather out here. It's awful.

Speaker 1:

So I was taking mine. I was sleeping on the couch this time. I dreamt that somebody gave me two gift certificates Again a faceless person one for $800 and the other one for $168. I'm like, hey, that's like two recurring dreams.

Speaker 2:

So the same money amounts, just different formats.

Speaker 1:

One money order and the other one were gift certificates, like paper certificates.

Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

Speaker 1:

And then the money orders like the US money orders, the colorful ones. So I'm like I need to look that up, because numbers and these came too like something came Well.

Speaker 2:

I played the lottery last night. I haven't checked if we won. Do you have the numbers? I did the group one no, it's at home. Okay. But I did the group one Okay, and I forgot to send it to everybody because my brain was just fried yesterday. But, okay, I did buy it. I want to because wasn't it worth like 900 million? Yeah, 900 million in change. Yeah, did anybody win? Hold on, that's a good question.

Speaker 1:

Let's see if anybody win. Look at them Before.

Speaker 2:

I like this crazy. I didn't even we could be millionaires right now.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. Well, we'll see. It's for the mega right? Yeah, I think so. Nobody won, oh man, no, 1.05 billion dollars.

Speaker 2:

We could do a lot with that.

Speaker 1:

Girl, we can do a lot. I can help plenty of communities, girl. Nobody won, nobody won.

Speaker 2:

Damn, but yeah. So before it was 1.5 billion it was 900 something.

Speaker 1:

So next drawing will be Tuesday August 1st. I will get us tickets.

Speaker 2:

Wow, 1.5 billion. I know everyone is like they are crazy. They believe in astrology dreams and the lottery.

Speaker 1:

There's plenty of people like us. You gotta be in it to win it. Very true. So the dreaming of money orders, or money or checks what should we call it? Checks, Dreaming of receiving checks.

Speaker 2:

Do they have that? Yeah, well, I looked up. Dream about gift card. Okay, it refers to magic. You are seeking a closer connection with a person. Really, what you thought was difficult at first is going to be worth your while. The dream is a metaphor for heart and issues of the heart, meaning love romance not like you have a heart condition, so, wow, yours is sorta like mine in the gold dress.

Speaker 2:

It's about dealing with your emotions and finding love. Okay, interesting, it's a message for new ideas and emerging awareness. Success will come as a result of your determination, but take it easy and relax. This is a symbol for your ability to control your emotions and keep them in line. You are experiencing a reawakening. Oh damn, that's pretty.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that is so funny, that is funny.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's crazy. Did you find your?

Speaker 1:

So I found the one for dreaming about money or receiving. You know, broadly speaking about receiving money could indicate a strong sense of self-worth. It could reflect that you are in a place where you are feeling confident and ready to receive gifts or recognition, be they monetarily or more symbolic Example, new relationship or job opportunity. Well, I got my job opportunity, yeah. So there you go. Could it be another job opportunity?

Speaker 2:

Well, that's what I'm wondering, because you know, looking forward to success in future endeavors and all of that Eh.

Speaker 1:

What is this? Also another one. To receive a check in a dream means payment is coming. I know that Friday.

Speaker 2:

Here, wait, you know what this is going to blow your mind. Oh hell's, what did you find? So I looked up the number 168.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what you said, right, yeah, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2:

Some Chinese consider 168 a lucky number because it sounds roughly like a phrase in Cantonese which is fortune all the way. I can't say what the Chinese is because I can't read it, but it translates to fortune all the way. What, that's insane, what. I didn't look up 800 yet because I thought 168 was a little more meaningful and I was correct, so in my dream, 800 was first and then the 168 followed. Hmm, Well, let me look Like I said, it was because 168 just seemed like a more vital number to me.

Speaker 2:

But let me look, I'll check 800 for you. All right, this one new beginnings, abundance, success, completion and humanitarianism. If you see this number frequently, then it's a sign that you're about to enter a positive period in your life personal growth and professional. Oh. So there you go. Both of us, everything is dreams about prosperity and coming fortune and affairs of the heart. I mean that's just crazy, mmg. That's crazy because the red dress was more about success and wow. So we both had, on the same night, dreams about attaining goals and good fortune and prosperity. Yeah, that's just so bizarre. That is bizarre.

Speaker 1:

We don't live in the same town.

Speaker 2:

No, none of that, oh my gosh, and we hadn't talked. All we did was text about getting ready for the show. Yeah, getting ready for the podcast. Wow, that's crazy.

Speaker 1:

I think the universe intended for us to be so busy, so we don't concentrate on that episode, because we were too needed to talk about these dreams out loud for the universe.

Speaker 1:

Okay universe. I know people will be like okay, this episode, we're not going to be listening to this crazy witches. You got to remember we live in Massachusetts. Salem is very close by yes Anyways. Yeah, this is our manifestation that we might come into fruition. So these are just signs to let us know what's going on Exactly. Remember we always talking about that boat from Japan.

Speaker 2:

I know we are floating around waiting for it to rescue us, oh my.

Speaker 2:

God, could this be the boat? And you know, what's even crazier too is that both of us had faceless like I couldn't see the person choking me and you couldn't see the person giving you. So that's just. That to me means something to the fact that we couldn't see. Yeah, I just saw hands giving me stuff, yeah, and I saw the hands coming. Oh my God. So, yeah, that's weird, that's very strange. And despite being strangled, it has good meaning. That's really strange. That's so bizarre. Oh wow, yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 1:

Hey, modern English is coming. Oh, cool Family just send me. Modern English is coming to Hawks and Read Where's that. September 16th, that's in Greenfield.

Speaker 2:

Oh really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, doors open at seven. Advance $25 at the day 30. Wow, they're old. Yeah, I'm just looking at it.

Speaker 2:

Well, I mean geez Melt with, you's gotta be 40 years old.

Speaker 1:

Oh damn, as old as oh, no, well, almost older now I'm trying to think Definitely early 80s.

Speaker 2:

It is 80s, let's see modern. English. They used it in the movie Valley Girl. Oh damn, I love that movie, but that's gotta be 81. I love all those 80 movies and now they're totally inappropriate.

Speaker 1:

It was the norm back then, girl.

Speaker 2:

No, I know.

Speaker 1:

It was. It was normal, supposedly quote unquote normal comedy. You know it was. Please, what about back in the now looking at movies from like the 50s, Mm? Hmm, For like you're like, excuse me, If that guy did that to me Exactly, I'm gonna shed blood everywhere.

Speaker 2:

I'll be in jail, but you know it's still sort of all a double standard. Like everybody is okay with certain things as long as it appeals to their personal taste.

Speaker 1:

Do you know what?

Speaker 2:

I mean 82, girl 82. All right, I was close. Wow, so it's 41 years old.

Speaker 1:

Almost oh there's. Oh, no, almost yeah, 42, 42, 42 this year 43.

Speaker 2:

43. 1980.

Speaker 1:

He was born, oh, okay.

Speaker 2:

The movies the same age as show and Iba Mm, aren't they both?

Speaker 1:

Mr Nino just turned 40.

Speaker 2:

June's about to turn. 40. June is turning 40.

Speaker 1:

And it's about turning 42 this year 41.

Speaker 2:

41 and show just turned 41.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, so we're going by Irish years, we're not going by anything, we're estimating this by Irish age. We tell time by Irish.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that is to tell you how much we love these men. Oh my God. They're not boys or men. I mean how much we love these men, you know we go, they were born.

Speaker 2:

Oh my goodness, oh, we're crazy. Oh my God. All right, so there you go. We talked very briefly.

Speaker 1:

You know, real stuff.

Speaker 2:

We spent most of the time interpreting dreams yes and being crazy.

Speaker 1:

And being crazy. Yes, oh my God, everyone's like talking about witches and tarot cards. What's up with?

Speaker 1:

that Gaging age by Irish. My Irish is birthdays. Oh my God, you funny, I know, right. Oh, one thing that I wanted to talk about. I know I usually talk about news I'm on race and rambling, but I think this is something that we should actually talk about, because I'm so happy that this happened. I'm so happy that this happened. I'm so happy that this happened. I'm so happy that this person did this. Hopefully, like he was stating that it will make a change in the future of Japan. So I'm reading this article from Tokyo hive Triple A's at that.

Speaker 1:

She needs it all comes out as gay to resume his activities and he is very happy. He says he did a fan meet Okay, to tell that to his fans. And the purpose of why he did that is he also put it on Instagram purpose. He did that because he was trapped. He always wanted to come out and to say how he was feeling and also that he he loves being an entertainer and wants to continue his activities as an entertainer, and also he has another company that he opened in LA as well and that he's coming out, is hoping to help others, to catapult others to also do not feel restrained and afraid to being too loving who they love and who they are.

Speaker 2:

You know. So is it an entertainment company, music company? What did he? What's it that he's opening?

Speaker 1:

Let's see he is. Let's see so he announced.

Speaker 2:

I mean that's awesome for him, though, because that is a big, a big issue. It's something that holds you back when you can't be who you are. That affects everything. It affects your relationships with other people, it affects your ability to be an entertainer, because you're hiding a part of yourself that it's such a huge part of who you are. So I mean that's awesome for him, because I'm sure it affected his interactions with his bandmates, his interactions with fans previously. You know it's. That's just. That's really awesome and I hope he gets support.

Speaker 1:

So also in the, when he held the fan meet, his bandmates were there, okay, so they were there supporting him. That's amazing.

Speaker 2:

Well, that's so, yes, awesome, and that's what I mean. I hope the fans can support him as well.

Speaker 1:

So Ty made his debut as a member of triple A in September of 2005. Beside his group activities, he was active as a solo artist, but put a hold to his activities in 2021. Shortly after triple A went on hiatus. Since then, he produced his own brand called 446,. Double 4, 6 base his work in both Japan and Los Angeles. This June, he terminate his exclusive contract with AVEX. Enter management broke away yes, doing his own thing, and announced that he will carry out his activities as an independent agent.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so he's sort of his own mini entertainment company promoting himself. That's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So during the event, a tie spoke at length about his decision to come out and express his hope that his coming out will give courage to fans facing a similar situation. Yay, you know a lot of fans and a lot of these people do look up to celebrities because they feel like there's a connection. I applaud him. I'm very happy for him. He also revealed that he recorded a new song titled Into the Light and that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the LGBTQ plus support groups.

Speaker 2:

That's amazing that's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Finally, he mentioned that a Hollywood documentary based on his life is in the works. It will be produced by Peter Farrelly and Fisher Stevens.

Speaker 2:

As in the Farrelly brothers, I don't know. Okay, I'm just wondering if, because there's a movie brothers Farrelly brothers who did Gosh now I can't remember what they've done, but I know that there's sort of like the Cullen brothers and there's a few family dynasties of movie producers, so I'm wondering if he's part of that. Well, that's awesome, that's really cool, and I'm glad that his bandmates supported him as well. That's really cool.

Speaker 1:

To conclude this, ataye expressed his gratitude to his family, friends and the staff who have always supported him. He also introduced his fellow triple A members, nishijima Takahiro Uno Misako, hideka Mitsuhiro and Swayoshi Shuta, who all watch over Ataye from the venue. As he made his announcement, he conducted the event by showing the music video for Into the Light, that's awesome, that's really cool.

Speaker 1:

That is cool. Yay, I'm so happy. So you know what? Yeah, I got to look up. What is this brand? It doesn't say what kind of brand it is, but he said, well, he terminated in June his activities with Evex. Let's see, he produced his own brand called 44666., but it does not say what it is. It could be, maybe, just like you know, like you said, his own thing sort of just his own little company.

Speaker 1:

So, yay, I wanted to keep it for Rancin Rambling, but since this just happened, and Well, this is a Rancin Rambling. I was going to call it. It's really rambling July recap, but whatever, I mean we don't have much of news but no, well, there wasn't a whole lot going on anyways.

Speaker 2:

No, I didn't see a whole lot other than the BTS Twitter wars amongst the fandom. So you know that was like the news that was really bombarding me, and then V doing this modeling thing, the stuff with Lato that was a big deal, although there was. I did see something else, but it's so not stuck in my head so it must not have been really super newsworthy. You know, it was just something I think more of like. I was like, oh, that's interesting, but it was not interesting enough for me to remember Okay.

Speaker 2:

I'll see if I can find it again and we'll.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Our next Rance and Ramblings, we can bring it up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know. There's nothing else I can think of this. You know, nah me either. I mean the song that I get stuck in my head this whole week what Second Lady DTV? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha ha. And then now yesterday, new Jeans, super Shine, super Shine, super Shine and na na, na, na na, make your mind, make your mind.

Speaker 1:

I'm like oh man, I play that today and I'm like, okay, isabel, and it's only like two minutes and a half. Oh, two minutes and 30 seconds, that's kind of common, actually, very catch, two catches like way too catchy. So, oh so, the article that I was writing today, it was for Snowman's Dangerholic. Yeah, have you seen the?

Speaker 2:

video? No, I have not. But I did see the still of.

Speaker 1:

That's gay.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, wait right, snowman, yes, yes, you're welcome. Yeah, yeah, okay, I'm like Ha, ha, ha, ha ha, I don't know why. For some reason my brain registered stones. So I was like, wait, am I thinking of the wrong thing?

Speaker 1:

No, no it's, but stones is actually. They are working on something coming out as well.

Speaker 2:

Yes, they are. So you probably have seen that, but I know it was because I saw the picture of Dice Cake.

Speaker 1:

Well, speaking of stones, uh huh, okuto and Daigo are going to be in the same series. Yes, I did see that it's going to be a detective drama thing.

Speaker 2:

Something to look forward to. I know, I know one of our friends is looking forward to it too. Oh yeah, she was all about it on X. Oh yeah, hold on a minute.

Speaker 1:

Ha ha, ha, ha On.

Speaker 2:

X. That sounds so wrong, I know. Is he going to be changing the?

Speaker 1:

icon. The bird is gone in some apps, but not like on your phone app. They hasn't changed yet, at least on my Android.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, it hadn't on mine either. That's why I was like what is this? What do you mean? X said I was like, oh, that's right, he was changing the name. But then I was like well, it's still the little bird.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, Some places has a little bird on your desktop. I see the X, which I keep looking at it and I'm like what the hell?

Speaker 2:

is that? Oh really, I haven't checked on my desktop, so.

Speaker 1:

So yeah. So this song, Danger Holic, is for Ren Meguro's new drama, Trillion Game, that is going to be streaming worldwide on Netflix.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I did see that, so I did see it. I just I haven't seen the video for the song yet what I saw all the news about this coming out, but I have not watched the video. The video is fun, of course. Well, it's a snowman. Of course it is.

Speaker 1:

It's fun. It's one of the fun ones you know they have done. You know other theme songs more romantic or playful.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, this one's just fun.

Speaker 2:

It's awesome. This is fun.

Speaker 1:

I'll have to check it out you know you got to check your dice game. I'll check it out, you know.

Speaker 2:

Well, I saw a few of their little. They were doing like groups of three TikTok things. Yes, those were cute and he was extra in that. Oh my god, oh, he's always.

Speaker 1:

It's like he can't help himself. Pink fire.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh. So, speaking of TikTok, why don't you tell people the thing you found about Pisces? I couldn't open it on mine. I'm like what was that?

Speaker 2:

Oh well, there's this guy who does sort of funny astrology stuff and yesterday he had this big dramatic opening and he's like I'm going to tell you all about the three signs that are entering their villain phase. Oh geez, and I was like villain phase. I got to check this out right. Number one was Pisces. What we are going to be in our villain phase until early 2026. This is when we're going to be badass, fierce. We're going to say F? You to anyone who gives us attitude. We are now he's like and it's funny because he started off by saying I know you're all going. What Sweet Pisces.

Speaker 1:

Never. That's why I'm like what? But then I know there's the other side of me, the other fish, that is like oh yeah, girl, you know this Well.

Speaker 2:

that's why there's the two fish, they're the yin and yang. There's the good, there's the bad.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways.

Speaker 2:

Yes, but then one of our friends was also on the list. Number three was Leo. Oh, my god. So she's in there too. I sent it to her. I forget who was the number two because I was so busy. Still, oh, capricorn, it's Capricorn. So if you're a Capricorn, you're entering your villain phase also. Theirs don't last as long as ours. I think that's why we're number one.

Speaker 1:

Really yeah, until early 2026?

Speaker 2:

Yes, Eh, so we're going to be fierce for the next two and a half years.

Speaker 1:

Oh jeez, so we just entered now this month, or is it entering on the new?

Speaker 2:

No, it just entered this month, it just happened.

Speaker 1:

Ha.

Speaker 2:

Interesting. Yeah, he's funny, this guy. So.

Speaker 1:

Wow, yep, ok, I got to find him on TikTok.

Speaker 2:

I'll share it to you, ok, like through TikTok, that way you can.

Speaker 1:

OK, so I can follow him there.

Speaker 2:

Yes, huh, I mean, just be warned everybody. Well, you know, and with those dreams we had, so you know, there you go, yeah, yeah, that's so funny Beers and fortune. There you go, that's us.

Speaker 1:

From the Disney villains. You know villains females, because you know that's my pronoun she, her, her, whatever, yeah, me too. So who do you like, vibe to Like you feel more close to.

Speaker 2:

The evil queen in Snow White. Hmm, that's when I think of myself as a villain. That's who I am Very like, because she's not outrageous, she's not over the, she's very subtle evil Like you almost don't realize it's happening. How about you?

Speaker 1:

It's no white. It's no white OK.

Speaker 2:

You know the evil queen.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know, I know she does have. Was that the she will queen, or she had another name? I?

Speaker 2:

think she was just evil queen.

Speaker 1:

Hmm, who's your villain? I'm torn between Maleficent and Ursula.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Maleficent's a good one too, but she's also, she's like I said, it's it's the subtlety of the evil queen. Yeah, she really sort of you know, underplays how absolutely horrible she is.

Speaker 1:

Hmm, so the evil queen turned into an old lady that gives the apple right Poison apple to Snow White.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Maleficent is the one that turns into a dragon Correct.

Speaker 2:

That's the cool part about Maleficent yes.

Speaker 1:

But if I go by my water sign, I'm more Ursula.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's true. Well, that would mean I was too. Ursula is like truly evil.

Speaker 1:

I mean that's why I'm like I'm torn between Maleficent or Ursula.

Speaker 2:

Well, maleficent would be my, my second choice, because she's also she's kind of subtle too. She's like oh OK, I understand, let me do some evil to you now, because I really don't understand. I'm not accepting of what you did. The evil queen there's just something about her is so underhand, I guess, mm. Hmm, she, she comes off as being supportive and and caring, and under it she's like seething and evil Was she a stepmother?

Speaker 1:

Yes, she was, and she was mad with Snow White because she was prettier than her Right. According to this, according to this mirror, like we see me, they see me hurt too.

Speaker 2:

Well, the queen had been the most beautiful in the land until Snow White grew up.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

And it's also more about like, not just the physical beauty. But the Snow White was a good person. The queen was not Right. That's what Boyle's done to her.

Speaker 2:

She was never a nice person and not saying that I'm not a nice person, but it's sort of her, her way of going about being evil. Right, I can sort of see, because it's nobody really notices it happening right away. So that's what I like the sneak attack Maleficent is like she just tries to be like oh oh, it was a misunderstanding. Ok, I'm going to do this evil thing to you anyway. I don't understand. That's what I mean. She's like overt about it.

Speaker 1:

I know that's what I'm like it's like way, just like like Maleficent is like oh yeah, that happened. Oh too bad, right?

Speaker 2:

Well, that's why she's now the second up for me, because that's really sort of more how I am. Yeah, but I just I like the evil queen style. She everything she does with grace in class.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. Not like me there. I'm like no, this is happening like this no and Maleficent.

Speaker 2:

She's got a little bit, but then she turns and is like no, I'm going to show you my bad side.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

You said. You said Ursula is just bad, she doesn't even try and like hide it.

Speaker 1:

No, exactly. So that's why I'm like I'm torn between Maleficent and Ursula, because it's like I can have, I can merge both two, like I have half of the quality, so Maleficent, and half of the quality that Ursula has.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, that's. That's probably how I'm thinking about to the minds Half and half I've, I've half got the like I can be graceful and classy about it, and they're totally no.
