Speaker 2:

Hello, this is Panic and this is Sarah, and you are listening to Music Elixir a podcast between two friends discussing their favorite Asian artists and music. Hello, how you doing, I'm good. Welcome, friends to another Music Elixir episode.

Speaker 1:

Yes, shall we jump right in, so we finally are together to create the episode that we were supposed to do, a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the one we sort of babbled about like we weren't ready, we weren't ready, we weren't ready. But, we're ready. Now, we're ready.

Speaker 1:

We're ready. So a couple of things before we start the episode.

Speaker 2:

Okay, Is it related to the episode? No, it's not related to the episode, but it's a personal thing.

Speaker 1:

Do you want to say (what) Sarah is injured?

Speaker 2:

Oh I know, it's like every time we meet to do an episode, I'm like, oh, last week it was the allergic reaction. Yeah, the funky dream and the dream. Yeah, the other day I injured my foot Bad. Oh my God, I was driving over. I was like ow, every time I pushed the gas pedal.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my God Dang, it was her pinky. Yeah. And then when she told me that I'm like, I did that two weeks prior than you and the mind is like black and blue. It looks so ugly and I don't have any black nail polish, which I'm surprised, oh yeah. Because I will always have like one bottle, I think family use it all.

Speaker 2:

I was going to say you or family, I would think would have it.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, but I think family use it the most and now there's none. I got to wait for Halloween, which I think it's already out there.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, it is.

Speaker 1:

Well, black nail polish yes, I could just paint my toes black. It was the time being I know that.

Speaker 2:

I might have to do that because it's definitely it's swelling and it's got a little greenish tinge on one side.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, you're going to have nasty bruise, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And I think that's the words of not wearing your glasses when you're walking around trying to get ready in the morning.

Speaker 1:

So oh no, this was just getting up from the, from the couch. My left foot was too close to the Ottoman and that's when it happened and I'm like I'm causing and punching the wall because the nearest thing there and I'm like you know the family's like what was it? You're being keen? I'm like yes, the little man went.

Speaker 2:

Oh man, I don't think he didn't go to market.

Speaker 1:

No, like jamming into the wall it is, and I'm like well, thank goodness that where I work we can wear sandals.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Because a close toe close, you know, an actual shoe on an injured toe is just agony. Yes, I mean, you can't, can hardly walk without the shoe. Your shoe on, forget about it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I offer Sarah some over the back for those who know what Spanish is, the only part I knew was cow. I was like I don't know what that first word is. I was trying to compare it to French. Yeah, I just couldn't, couldn't get to it.

Speaker 1:

So over the back in Puerto Rico. I don't know if any other regions in Latin America use it, but for us is like Tiger Bomb. So it's mentally you know, you put it on and whatnot. I think that traditionally it was made out of cow udders Okay, but I don't know if it does that now. I don't think. I don't think it's made like that.

Speaker 2:

It's. They're both basically like icy hot. Yeah, you know, it's just a mentholated cream sort of thick it's, you know it.

Speaker 1:

This is like I know people like me fun of. Like Asian grandmas is like grandma, I got some pain Vicks. They use Vicks for everything. Or Tiger Bomb Well, the same thing in Puerto Rico. My grandma will bring out this damn pomade. I'm like, no, don't put that on me.

Speaker 2:

My dad shows his Portuguese roots and the fact that he spent time in Japan, because that's his go to for everything Do you have? Vicks Like everything he's like oh, put a little under your nose, oh, put some on the bottom of your foot, oh, my God, my really dad, my grandpa, love Vicks.

Speaker 1:

My grandma will have water the back, my grandpa will have Vicks. I think it was more of a army thing that could be, you know, because he was, you know, he was in Germany station in Germany and that was the you're probably that was it he got the Vicks thing from, because they used that for everything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's. My dad was a Navy brat and then he was in the Air Force, so there you go, same.

Speaker 1:

Thing. Yeah, it was like Vicks for everything this little thing.

Speaker 2:

It's the cure all. Well, what is, oh my God, that reminds me of? I can't remember the movie and I can't remember what it is, but, like for everything, I know what it was the my big, big fat Greek wedding. Her dad is like Windex fixes everything, remember. He's like Windex no, I haven't seen that movie, oh my God, no, it's like like she gets a pimple. He's like put Windex on it and a cut. Put Windex on it, Windex, no, what. That's crazy. I prefer Vicks.

Speaker 1:

I know right, oh my God, oh my goodness, yeah, no, I gotta go watch that movie. I always been wanting to watch that movie.

Speaker 2:

Well, the funny thing is, too, is that her fiance had also gotten a pimple and she's like how did yours go away? And he's like, oh, I put Windex on it because she refused to do it. Because she's like, dad, you're crazy, you're crazy. Oh I put Windex on it and she was like, oh my God.

Speaker 1:

Get out Ew.

Speaker 2:

It's hysterical.

Speaker 1:

Now I gotta, it's gotta be a thing. How can it be an?

Speaker 2:

improvement Windex. Yeah, ew Must be a Greek thing, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm not gonna look down what else it's not only for cleaning.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know, I've heard toothpaste, though, also.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, toothpaste, I guess, like the minty and the yeah Anyway, the menthol, but Windex is not menthol. No, I know, that's why I'm like that's ammonia.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, I mean it would dry something out, that's for sure, because if you've ever used like ammonia without gloves on your hands, like get dried up, well, it's like a chemical peel pretty much. Yeah, they don't recommend you not using gloves, but I've done it before, yeah, anyway.

Speaker 1:

That's a little bit of our private moment, but today we're gonna talk about.

Speaker 2:

Should I say it? I started to, and then you. I'm just gonna blurt it out. We've actually we've talked about this artist before. Yes, he came up in our Christmas episode because I love one of the songs he did a collab with.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

We talked about him when we discussed another artist. Be first, so maybe you're starting to guess already who we're going to talk about. It would be Skye High, yes.

Speaker 1:

Not to throw off the stupid AI. We gotta take turns. You know, I don't know, have an idea of something, but anyways, yes, guys, I won't tell anyone about this episode, but you'll surely enjoy seeing. Yeah, okay, mainly Noah sky high, which I found out that the meaning for his sky high is Possibilities are high and infinite like the sky. All right, so that's pretty cool. He is a rapper, singer-songwriter, a trackmaker and producer. He is also a member of triple a a lot of people know that and and founder and CEO of the entertainment company BMS and G and the CEO of the independent record level boom moose.

Speaker 2:

Okay. So yeah, he's got a lot under his belt.

Speaker 1:

I don't know how he can sleep, eat, talk to people perform Me is always doing something, and all this that's a lot.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, and also I think, was it just earlier this year he started another new entertainment show. Yeah, with Nippon television. Yeah, you know he. Yeah, he's one busy person.

Speaker 1:

It's like I said does he sleep, eat? How does he do everything? Omg, superpowers, you know that's. Yeah, I was looking his roster and I'm like whoa, oh what, what is his? Will he have a private? He doesn't even look like he has a private life probably not what's his.

Speaker 2:

Is he September, december? Oh, he's December. Oh, that's right. These are number 12, sagittarius. Sagittarius, because I was like, is he a Virgo man? No, no, that's right. I remember I was looking at December 12th. You said, yes, okay, yeah, 12 or two. No I remember actually I did look that up the other day and I was like Sagittarius interest.

Speaker 1:

I know there's a two-winder and I'm thinking 12 or it could be. No, it is 12. Yay, okay, yeah, 1986 86 yes morning Chiba. We love our people in Chiba.

Speaker 2:

Yes, Chiba.

Speaker 1:

Love Chiba. So, yeah, I have, we have mentioned he. Yeah, he doesn't sleep, no, Not at all he does not sleep. He has so much under his belt.

Speaker 2:

Well, and he's he's so versatile and open to working with people because, as we know, he's worked with Japanese and Korean artists. Yes, he's really, really all about the music and Finding talent, people who can sing, people who can dance, people who enjoy singing and dancing. Yep, because this is, like I said, a second round of doing a program dedicated to Finding people with musical talents and dancing capabilities.

Speaker 1:

So, right now, currently for this year. August 19th and the 20th he will be performing in summer Sonic. Then on August 30th he will be releasing a split single with be first, then on August no, yeah, that's it. And then something's coming in August 24. Something's gonna come out on Netflix. I'm not gonna say much but something's on the works. He's also what. On September 3rd he will be performing at Rawling Stones, japan live geez with Moselle, which we have not done an episode on them.

Speaker 1:

They're fairly near but I think we can do one of their singles. Um September 16th he will be performing at a Kita Carnival music festival, Jeez.

Speaker 2:

Well, and he just did one also. He just did some sort of summer festival I don't remember what it was in May I was seeing the news.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, in May and June he did the sky high arena tour. That was his a tour through from May to June. Jeez then, uh, let's see lucky fest, probably July 17.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, that one, I know he did something. He is like you said. When does he sleep? Yeah, does he eat? Why does he? You know, he's a machine, well speaking of being a machine.

Speaker 1:

We're gonna be talking about five songs that I pick randomly, but I'm sure these are. Some of these are hits. Some of you already know about it. So let's talk about the very catchy Tokyo spotlight. Okay, it was released on March 12th of 2024 March 2024. No 20 2014.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

No wonder, you probably will. I'll probably you know what he's doing with all this. That's, that's how he does it.

Speaker 2:

Time travel yeah, he already has stuff lined up for September, in August not even over yet I know.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, from the album trickster, trip hop, hip hop, salsa, flavor, marching band mm-hmm. The intro of the song, the rap delivery is just fierce. The back and forth of the vocals is like he's in your face. Continue.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah. Well, I was gonna say what I got out of it was tango, simplified tango, but that done, done, done, done. It was very yeah, just that flavor, like you could see people doing the drag your foot across the, you know, and that like there's underlying brass sounds which adds to that sort of flavor. That piano just goes through the hole. It's, like I said, so simple but it's. It's there the whole time and it just gives you that need to sort of move around and and they transition partway through like Minute 20 seconds or so, there's that super EDM like breakdown and then goes back to our, our tango.

Speaker 2:

We feel so, yeah, it's just high energy song, mm-hmm, definitely, oh yeah, and I sort of, I sort of got the feeling it was maybe like about the not necessarily elite, but a certain Lifestyle of Tokyo nightlife. Do you know what I mean? Yes, we're in the spotlight because we're out partying. I'd like to join him on that. Yeah, oh, hey, oh yeah, me too. But it just definitely had sort of that like we're out on the town, oh yeah, nightlife, feeling about it. So, yeah, yeah, it's just, it's a lot of fun. Yes, definitely.

Speaker 1:

Nightlife in Tokyo. Let's go out Party, party absolutely. All right.

Speaker 2:

Next one, mr Psycho from oh, we're just gonna go in order. Yes, okay.

Speaker 1:

What you want.

Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, no, okay, I'm just checking, I'm making sure okay.

Speaker 1:

We didn't discuss which one was our fave. Do you want to discuss which ones are fave, or or you just want to go in order? Well, we can just go in order I want in order. Do we do that? No, we don't want before like that.

Speaker 2:

I don't remember, but okay it's, we can go in order and we can talk about our faves after okay, sort of you know yes, I like that idea.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so, mr Psycho. It's a single from November 18, 2020. Trip on again for me at the field trap Heavy bass, mm-hmm. The trap beats more salsa, piano. The sitar intro, or simulated sitar. I like when he says you may call me mr Psycho. I'm like You're trying to say there boo, this song, be witches me, because I can't make out what the song is about, though. What was your feel, though? Because I mean, mr Psycho, you're like.

Speaker 2:

Well, my my feel was sort of that. He, I Think he's saying that people thinks he's kind of psycho and if you think about how much he works, he probably is like a little manic, mm-hmm. So I I sort of got the feeling he's like, yeah, you, you just want to say I'm mr Psycho. So, and it's funny, you said sitar and when I heard the beginning all I could think was he was playing some music Backwards and you know how, like everyone, all the quote-unquote, oh, devil worship if you play it backwards. So I was like, oh, it sounded like a piece of the music played backwards and then it goes into the actual song, right, so that was crazy.

Speaker 2:

That's another one. The piano is all the way through the background and it's sort of the pace of it is sort of chaotic a little, a little manic, a little like you know, about 45 seconds in there's sort of a heartbeat which gives you that. You know that adrenaline feeling of a psycho who's like getting geared up for Whatever craziness he's gonna do. And right as that intro is happening is when he goes murder, murder, murder.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're like, okay, he's definitely a psycho, so I'm going on Yep, try to think the, the clapping and a sharp piano and he yells f off. That's pretty interesting. About a minute 45 it really gets super chaotic, manic, psychotic. He was definitely feeling a certain way when he wrote this. And then there's a point where it's like it's kind of creepy. You hear it in the background. It's almost like fingernails on a metal table or like someone dragging something across, like ridged metal. You know when someone's trying to intimidate you, right, so they did. I could hear that and I was like, wow, this is really like eerie. But it's mr Psycho, yeah, yeah, so it's. That was just All of the sounds I was hearing and that was I was gonna say. One thing I love about his music is there is so Much going on.

Speaker 2:

Yeah so many sounds and subtle things that you don't necessarily you're like. Did I hear that? Did I hear that? Very complex, mm-hmm, yeah, so this one is definitely Like I said, there's a lot going on in there and it's sort of something like running through his mind.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's mr Psycho. Call me mr Psycho.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Well, and doesn't psycho also mean the wonderful like, if you take the actual Japanese word, is that I'm not thinking of the right word, or is that the end? I can't remember.

Speaker 1:

I don't know you want me to Google translate that really badly.

Speaker 2:

Maybe, yeah, we could, because I was like I'm trying to remember there's like psycho and psycho, and I think psycho means like the end, I think psycho Means wonderful or good. So you know, is he saying wonderful, psycho, I'm a wonderful. I could be mixing it up. My Japanese is not very good.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, is there a word like that will rhyme like psycho, si Si Cool. It's either superb or oldest. Hmm, if we go with a long O, it's superb, mr Superb.

Speaker 2:

OK, oh wonderful, it's super Rashi, rashi. Oh, I'm OK.

Speaker 1:

So not just like I said.

Speaker 2:

I was. I was mixing, mixing up the. It's just a cycle.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I do like your analogy because with this, all the plans that he's been doing and all these ideas that he has, all the things you think he's, you know people were probably calling him your cycle. You got too much going on. Yeah, you know, like, take a break. I'm even saying take a break, slow down. You be cray cray. Not a bit A lot of cray cray, please. Anyways, next song yeah, bari Bari. Yeah, it's a single from April 13, 2022. This one is my 90s R&B and West Coast rap, vibe. Oh, I love this song. There's our like sensual vocals and he rap goes from like sweet talking to a bit aggressive towards the end. You know, this is, I can feel, this one that he's like. Yeah, hey, baby.

Speaker 2:

How you doing.

Speaker 1:

This is the how you doing song.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it is Woo girl, I love that.

Speaker 1:

And I was the little oh my God, I don't want to say Joe, to see, because it's more like baby face, like baby face back in the oh geez, so it's like that or usher, oh yeah, you know, it was giving me those vibes. Yeah, yeah, like you know, hey, girl, sweet girl, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and it's like, but then his his rap, very soul tree. You know, yeah, that's what I'm feeling with this one.

Speaker 2:

I'm like, oh yeah, so Well, I was going to say, yeah, I definitely. I got the soul tree very soulful, like mm-hmm. Yeah, it's got some mellow, slow beats, sort of like a little tongue clicking going on Like hey, baby, yeah. And now this one I did. I looked up barry barry because I was like, what does that mean? Body means to be found out, exposed, exposed.

Speaker 1:

Yes, exposed, I think he just like saying, hey, expose yourself. Or I'm going to talk about what somebody's going to be exposing.

Speaker 2:

So well to be found out, like this was some sort of clandestine secret little romance going on.

Speaker 1:

Hey, baby, I like the whole and they're like, oh, what OK?

Speaker 2:

And then and then, and then, yeah, yeah, yes, so definitely, like you said, r&b. Some soul there, just very smooth.

Speaker 1:

He can sing this to me anytime. Anytime he wants, he can serenade me with this. How many like a fast?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this was the only one. I got sort of the feeling that this was like a come on, baby, come hither kind of song. I was like, wow, yes, mm, hmm.

Speaker 1:

Smooth talker yeah.

Speaker 2:

For sure, and this one, yes, like I said that, that tongue clicking sort of sound like hey, baby.

Speaker 1:

Oh, so yeah, so that was very nice.

Speaker 2:

If you're in a certain certain mood, yes, definitely check that one out.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, definitely Put that there with your favorite, you know person. Yes, you know, just put down the background Wham.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the quiet evening at home, candlelight dinner yeah, play that in the background. Oh yeah, it'll send out a certain vibe.

Speaker 1:

Especially with that music, even the back, not just only his voice, but just the music, the composition itself. Right, it's so sexy Well because it's understated.

Speaker 2:

It's not overpowering. The music and the vocals go very well together, so yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Definitely. Oh yes, steamy. So next song before we just keep going about it, just breathe, featuring three Racha of Stray Kids. Oh my God, remember when I did an episode on this one. They done episode on three Racha. Please, people go check out Stray Kids our episode on that. That one came out on February 21st of 2022. I love the song.

Speaker 2:

Me too, but we're saving that to the end, ok.

Speaker 1:

But I'm just saying I love the song. Hip hop idiom, more trip hop bass, heavy like war, like bass, bass like in your face, bass with samples of, like violins, synth, piano. Well, it's all about the song, the vibe, you know. It's all about you. You know, just breathe. The title says it all. You know I like the whole, like when it sounds like they're going through some challenges, but then, you know, just breathe. You know, like, keep going. Nobody can be you, nobody can be me. You know I'm like this is a positive song, this is positive vibes, it's. You know. Do you like lead? The very well known phrase, do you just?

Speaker 2:

breathe. Well, yeah, I like the. The opening is actually served like a horror movie, yes, shiller thriller. I was like, oh, what's this going to be? Trap, hip hop, rap it's got it all going on.

Speaker 2:

For me, this one, it definitely is like be yourself, you know, no one can be you, no one can be me. But I also I felt sort of like an anxiousness about it, sort of like trying to overcome anxiety about, you know, possibly being superstars, the way they are, sort of the whole idol image, like we hear a lot about artists having anxiety and panic attacks. So it's sort of like this is a talking yourself out of being, you know, pressured and just saying, all right, just breathe, it's all good, I am who I am, you know, deal with it, kind of thing. Like I'm going to just work on being OK with this and in dealing with the pressures of life. So it's awesome.

Speaker 2:

It's really just so, because there's that point where you hear a heartbeat yes, definitely, probably like halfway through the song, and it's sort of that like trying to calm yourself down to like just who, take a step back and breathe. So that's what really drew me to it is. I was like, wow, this is like just someone talking themselves out of like a complete freak out. That was the feeling I got, because, especially that that creepy music at the beginning, I love it, but it's like there's something a little dark about this and their voices amazing, yes, amazing this is a great collab.

Speaker 2:

It is Really good, awesome. I'd love to hear more. Yes, we have them all together.

Speaker 1:

Plenty of collab. So when he's roster of music is insane, I know you know in all the collaboration he has done, Like one of your favorites with Shamina, which is gonna happen on December. Yes, ha ha ha ha Dun dun dun.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, last but not least, we're gonna be talking about this very catchy song, Mm. Hmm, Ha ha ha that it came out this year on February 3rd. The single Dunk this is Drum and Bass Girl. That's all I have to say. This is a pep song, Drum and Bass, you know. I heard the word love. Oh, my goodness, dream as well, Dream, yeah. So this is another pep positive vibe song. I know this. He made this song for a.

Speaker 2:

I believe this is for that show, for the show, for the. What is it? Dunk actually stands for something? It's Dance Universe Never Killed, and it's for the music and dance program that he's doing. Yes, and it's definitely.

Speaker 1:

Well, message is well, I'm not served, but I mean, yeah, presented, presented for the opportunity for all these. You know, kids, whoever are gonna be, well, I'm gonna be saying kids, ha ha, ha, ha. You know all these people, let's see you go, all these people who are actually gonna be auditioning, and you know this is their dream being on the limelight, being a dancer and what not. And even it saves me, even though you don't make it into the audition, but just you know, keep doing it, love what you're doing, keep your dream, just going for it. And that's what this, this very heavy, just so danceable song you know, Definitely high energy.

Speaker 2:

It's. Yeah, it's a celebration of just enjoy yourself. If you want to dance, dance. If you want to sing, sing. You know it's kind of like, even if you're not good, just do it, just have fun. Yeah, Grab life by the you know what? Ha ha, ha, ha, Go for it. So, yeah, it's definitely. There's so much going on in this one. Oh, yeah, so much Da da da, da da da da, da, da, da, da, da, da da, da, da da da.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Like the beginning is like it's like something is saying something, like really high pitch. And I'm like what is that?

Speaker 2:

You know, I know, yeah, I couldn't. I'm like, what is that?

Speaker 1:

Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da da da, yeah, and then that's when you hear Sky High going, I, you may, da da da. And then the other one I forgot. I'm like, oh, what I know? And I'm like, well, okay, that's love. And then the other one is dream and I'm like, okay, I heard that. So.

Speaker 2:

I'm like cool, this is awesome. Yeah, this one, like you said, great bass.

Speaker 1:

Yes and that drum cadence.

Speaker 2:

It's actually that's like a marching drum line right sound that drumming going on and with the rim tap, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da da. Awesome, I love it. You know the band geek in me. It was like oh yeah listen to that and you're like, yeah, listen to that drum line. I know this.

Speaker 1:

Bring out my saxophone. Look at that, Dan.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but this is just yeah. It's like a melting pot of sound, yes, and style it's awesome and it does. It just gets you moving, it just makes you feel good about it. Yes, love it. High energy, awesomeness going on with this song. Love it. Expect nothing less from Sky High right, exactly.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. He reproduces and creates gold. I know it's insane he eats, breathes lives and music.

Speaker 2:

We don't even know if he eats. Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 1:

He eats music, breathes music.

Speaker 2:

We don't know if he sleeps at all Gee, he's.

Speaker 1:

You know. If you do not know the name, sky High, or at least his, you know his birth name. It's. Come on, I don't know. I don't know, because where have you been? Where have you been? Because he has created so much music. So much music is insane, you know. I mean the last single that we talked about, which it was featuring Olsi. You know, dream Out Loud.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, I was gonna say I forgot.

Speaker 1:

Dream Out Loud which is another positive vibe song, you know I forgot.

Speaker 2:

We talked about that, yeah, in our single, in one of the singles episodes.

Speaker 1:

So which that one came out on May 31st and it was very jazzy, it was hip hop, it was just fun and another positive vibe, one, you know I mean like the track says that you know this is the one with the scat, so that's pretty cool. I mean you know scat and rap. I mean you know that's probably the beginning of rap but scatting Absolutely. Yeah, come on. If you haven't heard the word Sky High, where have you been? The name Sky High is like everywhere he's amazing, he's not human.

Speaker 2:

You know, just does a little bit of everything.

Speaker 1:

I know, isn't it?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so, but he doesn't skimp anywhere, that's for sure. No, he goes all out. So do you have a fave? I actually had sort of a tie for fave. Oh, okay, I couldn't. I couldn't decide between Tokyo spotlight and just breathe. Hmm, because I thought that musically, both of those were really intense in different ways. Right, because again, everything has so much going on on them anyways, but these two particularly because they gave different vibes, it just depended how I felt on the day, which one. I was like, oh, I really want to hear this again. Those would be my faves. How about you?

Speaker 1:

I do, like Tokyo spotlight, just breathe as well. But lately I've been vibing body to body, so body to body and just breathe have been like the ones that I've been listening a lot. But of course, once in a while Tokyo spotlight would just get in my head and I'm like I know, you know, that's very catchy.

Speaker 2:

Remember I was telling you like one of the songs was really I would wake up with it in my head that was Tokyo spotlight. I would just I'd wake up and be like Dun dun, dun dun. Exactly what am I doing? Obviously, I want to go out and party or something.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. We have not done that in a while. I know Like we having out with our besties. Yes, we did, but that's different, but like actual, like club Right, like going out to like a place where they just playing music. We have not at least I haven't. No, I haven't either, jeez, even pre pandemic, I know, except just going to concerts. But I mean, that's just.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a different, a different feel to it, Because you're not not getting as big a range of music necessarily. You know it's all one artist.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

In a club. You're here and everything.

Speaker 1:

So remember we tried to get into that bar that we got turned down. There were playing some awesome music.

Speaker 2:

We're like yeah, we're like yeah, cool.

Speaker 1:

There's like rooftop.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, hotel Well, and you know what was so funny about that is like the front desk told us about it, yeah, but didn't mention it was a private party that night. So there we Everybody. If you didn't hear that episode, it's what was it?

Speaker 1:

It was our interview with no. What's the interview when we were?

Speaker 2:

talking about the experience, the concert experience the concert experience.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm really bad with Korean names.

Speaker 2:

Me too. I'm always like is it pronounced like a J or a Y?

Speaker 1:

Well, the thing is that you cannot say Mr Kim, because there are a million on Mr Kim's. Kim Hyunjoon. Yeah, I'm going to say that Kim Hyunjoon.

Speaker 1:

OK, yes next X member of SS 501. He's not going soloist. He used to be part of. It was F4 of the K drama Boys Over Flowers, which, oh my God, it's like family is you know what family did? What family was like something. Oh, I know we're not talking about Scott anymore, but this is not ransom round. This is to the music elixir. We go off topic. But Tuesday night family watched. The family was feeling nostalgic because in Finland, from their five year hiatus they came back for their 13th anniversary. So they just drop a new song and a new album. So family was like, oh my God, I'm like OK. So they started playing everything. Second generation groups, K-pop groups oh, OK, we're talking infinite, Exo, also BAP Teen Tom.

Speaker 2:

I haven't heard that in a while.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so so we're. So we had our own like.

Speaker 2:

Nostalgia night.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, a K-pop nostalgic night. So yeah, so that was so we were doing, so we did that.

Speaker 2:

But so anyways. Yeah, our original point was you can hear the story about the last time we tried to go clubbing. Well, on that concert experience.

Speaker 1:

Why I was going with that is because family is like wow, I can't believe you actually met him. Because then family played SS501. It was like, look, you interview him. I'm like, yeah, 10 years, then you're later 20,. No, 13 years later. Yeah, I was going to say it's been a while, 13 years later, I actually did met him. I'm in person Interview him, wow. Ok, so that was my whole rant about you know, I just Like you will think, oh, this will never happen. I'm like it will. It may take 10 years, but it will happen.

Speaker 2:

Eventually you know around, so keep going with your dreams.

Speaker 1:

Look at sky high, look at all the things that he's doing. You know. So there you go. That kind of ties up to him. Sure, all right. You know he's been going at it. He's been working hard since 2010.

Speaker 2:

Yeah longer. Well, I thought they didn't debut triple A until 2013. Right I?

Speaker 1:

want to say that, but as himself personally longer, probably in 05.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Well, I was going to say you know, everybody starts out doing stuff sooner, but so it's just to tell you still been.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, if you have a passion, if you have a dream, go for it. It takes time, it takes hard work. Look, and he's still hard work, looking all like constantly. Yes, he's always doing something. How he does it. How, how does he? How? I want to. Ok, I'm thinking I would like to follow him to see what he does. I'll probably will die the first day like shadowing for a day, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'll probably not. I probably won't be able to. Oh, I think he's all over the place, or maybe he's not. He does everything through the computer.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that could be, but you know, power naps every once in a while. Oh my goodness, Grab 15 minutes here, 15 minutes there.

Speaker 1:

Hmm, oh, his Chinese zodiac sign is a tiger. Oh, and he is a tiger Mm. Hmm, complete tiger.

Speaker 2:

He's fierce yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he is Wow.

Speaker 2:

Well, and Sagittarius is a fire sign, right, is it? I think it's a fire, hmm, so he's burning hot all the time too, I'm pretty sure, yeah, it is. It's a fire sign, it's fire on fire.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely you said that nice thought Fire.

Speaker 2:

Well, we're water. That's why we're attracted to it.

Speaker 1:

We're like, oh, we don't mix, so we're so, yeah, no, shadowing him Fire, no, it won't get. Oh, we'll make steam, hey, and now, ok, especially with a body, body that will calm my storms, my typhoon.
