Speaker 1:

Hello, this is Panic

Speaker 2:

Hello everybody, Welcome to another episode of Music Elixir. Today we'll be doing some singles. Is that right, Panic?

Speaker 1:

Yes, we are. Hello everybody. This is Panic and you just hear Sarah. Did you say Sarah? No, I didn't. Okay, well, most people know us, but for those who are new to the podcast, you know we'll just, we'll like to introduce ourselves. I know that my professor is like don't, if it's you and anybody follows you, you don't introduce yourself if you already have it on your intro. I'm like you know what? No, dude. No, we are different, we, we go by the beat of our own drum, you know we're very different, and I think every podcast is different.

Speaker 1:

So I do appreciate his teachings, but there's some things that I do not agree with. But you know, that's how it is. We don't want to be cookie cutter podcast.

Speaker 2:

No, absolutely not. Well, we definitely aren't.

Speaker 1:

No, we aren't not. So, anyways, it's been a while. We had dropped a few episodes, but Sarah and I have not seen each other for two weeks, two weeks, yeah, but we had assignments. Yes, we did, because there were some singles that actually dropped actually one a few months ago, they just dropped the video. So the pop, this song, became popular again, so we're going to be talking about that one first, yes, first Okay.

Speaker 1:

But before we start our blablas, you know we, I got to tell you something personal. Oh, of course it's not music elixir without me saying something, something about my personal life, Because you know, I make it about me. Hello, the initials for music elixir is me.

Speaker 2:

Well then, wouldn't that apply to me also?

Speaker 1:

Well of course you also can. You know we're taking the personal. Something happened to me, you know well, you already know this On Friday morning. Well, this week I treated family to breakfast. I'm not going to say the name of the place, but we went to for breakfast. When we proceeded to go to the counter to place our order, there was this gentleman who was already telling the girl who taking the orders not to cut his bagel, because he already told her not to cut his bagel. Well, the girl was like oh, oh, you don't want it cause. Like no, I told you not to. So she's like okay, and then gave the bagel to the guy. I'm like, well, this is going to be interesting. Now, mind you, this is like 635, 6. Yeah, in the morning, oh, wow, that early.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because family goes to work at seven and the place is only five minutes away from the restaurant, anyways. So I proceeded to tell this young lady that I wanted a ham and cheese bagel that's it in a coffee. And then family wanted a bagel with egg and sausage. Simple, right, that's, yeah, pretty straightforward, exactly.

Speaker 2:

Nothing fancy.

Speaker 1:

It's just that.

Speaker 2:

Well, I was going to say that you don't cut my bagel.

Speaker 1:

was pretty straightforward too, but you know so I'm like I mean, just by looking at this young lady, I'm like she ain't here. You can tell her face, no, porky face. She just did not want it to be there. Like I just need to be here because I need a job and I need to get paid, that kind of look. So I'm like, oh boy, here we go. So we proceeded to take a seat because we got our weight, so our order was up. When we went to pick up our order, family got the right order. I got one with ham and egg, no cheese on a bagel. I'm like, um. So I said to the line cook I'm sorry, but this is not my bagel. I order a bagel with just ham and cheese. The line cook was an older lady and she was already mad, takes the ticket, the order ticket, slams it on the counter in front of my face and said this is what she said, this is what's on the order. And I'm like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 2:

Well, it doesn't matter what she said. What I told her was something different.

Speaker 1:

So I proceeded to say to the line cook I'm allergic to eggs. So instead of giving that spewed to the young lady up front, I just made a plain and simple order of just a ham and cheese bagel, ham cheese and a bagel. She was livid. Now the line cook. I could tell she had a Spanish accent. So I proceeded to talk to her in Spanish and I said hablas español. And for some reason she totally changed her mood when she had somebody to talk to in her own language. So she went off. She's like no, she always messes up orders and this is what she done. Like I'm like, I'm allergic to eggs. You know, I'm not talking to her in Spanish. This is the conversation. I have an allergy, I cannot eat this. And I did. Told her plainly ham, cheese and a bagel. And she's like okay, I'm going to make it right, what kind of bagel? And then you know I'm like okay, this bagel and that, that. So she goes over to the front counter, proceeds to yell to her you messed up the order again. So apparently this is not the first time, I guess I did.

Speaker 1:

The lady over there asked for ham and cheese and a bagel. That's it. No, nobody made. But why this? Just the egg that doesn't want. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Oh my gosh. She went off and I'm like can you just listen and type what the ingredients? Just need to type the ingredients. She this is her telling off this girl. This is very early in the morning for people going off their top. So the line cook comes back, calm as a cucumber, because she just vented out on this young lady and just telling me that you know that complaining about that employee, that she's always on her phone, that she's not paying attention, that this is not the first time that she's messing up orders, that she should not be apologizing for her. Yeah, she, you know.

Speaker 2:

I'm like, okay, yeah okay, and then she's like I get it. Can I have my bagel and while?

Speaker 1:

no, while she's cooking she's, you know, while she's preparing my bagel, she's telling me all this stuff. And then she's even show them the. There's even signs all over the kitchen and all over the front counter no phone news. And then she's showing me that, she's showing me the signs that the manager have put out in the restaurant. They know cell phone news by employees. I'm like, oh my god, what's going on? Oh my god, this is the best day what the phone already passed.

Speaker 1:

So while that's going on, the young lady comes from the front counter towards me and asks me is she giving you a hard time? I'm like, oh my god. I'm like not okay, she's just just, it's okay, everything's okay. And then the young lady tells me well, she always gives me a hard time. I'm like, oh my god, do I need to also hear her? You know, I'm like so, for some reason, in the middle of this, like feud between these two. So the young lady walked towards the kitchen and she disappears and then, while the the line cooks will talk into me in Spanish about all this stuff going on at work, the manager comes in and he's like scratching his head and looking down like, oh my god, like, oh my god. So she gives me, her my order, and she said I don't like to waste food, I'm gonna wrap this one up. If your daughter wants to take her to a coworker or something, she wants to eat it later I'll wrap it up for you. She did that, so I took it, so I got a free sandwich.

Speaker 2:

Well, what else are they going to do with it?

Speaker 1:

They can't sell it Girl. When I proceeded to walk away I heard the manager very calmly what happened the lady. I'm like, oh my god, somebody's gonna get fired, not gonna be there.

Speaker 2:

Don't go back to that restaurant for a while.

Speaker 1:

It's not, you know, and I mean like the universe always gives you hints when you just walk in and there was already a customer saying don't do what I just didn't tell you to do, you know? Yeah, exactly. It's like oh boy, we should go somewhere else, but you know this was probably like our first like breakfast outing since I work.

Speaker 1:

you know I wanted to treat family and I walk family up very early to go, because then families like wow, we just had a drama. We tell people I work, I'm like, yeah, I'm thinking the Pisces villain came out today.

Speaker 2:

In case you don't know what that is a few episodes back we talked about some astrology that had come up, said that Pisces is entering their villain phase and we're going to be in it for like a year and a half, right, yeah?

Speaker 1:

that's what you said. I'm like what? This is crazy. And I'm like, did I just start it? But I mean, it's true, you know, and it was a simple order, you know, I didn't ask, like you know, a quarter inch of chives and like a teaspoon of that or smear of you know, yeah, like something ridiculous. It's just ham and cheese bagel.

Speaker 2:

No, I know that's really very basic, yeah. But you know that's happened to me places where they're used to making, like you know, sausage, egg and cheese, ham, egg and cheese, and they said to me once well, can't you just take the egg off? I was like, um, well, I can, but the egg has touched other things.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

The problem is I can't have egg. It's still going to be stuck to other parts of the sandwich.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, when you have a food allergy, it's not just like, oh, just scrape, it's not pickiness, it's because your body will react. Some people will get vile, some people can die, you know. So when you're working in a food industry, you need to understand these allergies. So don't be enough food and working in the food industry If you cannot take that basic. You're there for the customer and you're giving a customer service, exactly. Yes, you know when you're lucky you don't have these allergies, that you can have eggs or fish or you know whatever other wheat or lactose, whatever. Exactly you can't. You don't need to have this feel of like almost dying because you have like a sliver of egg or you know something micro. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Now some people, they just don't get it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. But also, speaking of egg allergies, there is a I'm not sure yet because I will need to try it while I'm home but apparently egg yolk is not the part that brings out the allergy, is the egg white. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah, so I'm like, hmm, because I tested with a little bit of egg white cooked girl, I was done for 24 hours, I was done, so I'm. So. Then I heard about the egg yolk and I'm like, hmm, let me try the egg yolk and see what's going on. If it's just the egg white, there's, there's two different proteins apparently.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, cuz I just skipped that whole thing by buying. There's this, some I don't know if it's like tapioca or something. There's egg substitute. Yeah and that's what All our little celebratory cakes are made.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I use the egg substitute in the non wheat flour Right because you know we're specials, super, I told you the me People will be like we're gonna stop listening to them. Crazy, crazy, the crazies, the crazy witches of Northampton, but anyways, okay, so that's the A person. Do you have a personal story? Cuz it's like seems to me I always have a personal story every time we start the podcast.

Speaker 2:

Well, I was gonna say, actually, with the Astrology thing, yes, so that astrology where I got the, the villain era stuff from. Yes, the astrologist actually contacted me. What, yeah, like was like, hey Called me love. Oh, my goodness, no, hey, love, what's your sign? Maybe we can do a reading. And I was like, oh, you know, like fishing for like Ray probably paid, and I understand, but I was like, oh, I just, I love your sense of humor, I love how you read things. It's just awesome. You know, I don't think I need a reading at this time, but I will definitely continue to support you and watch your stuff. I was like and, by the way, I'm a Pisces and I gave like a little, you know, rock-on sign, yeah, and he sent back little hearts and was like thank you, love.

Speaker 1:

So that was my first you sure say my Pisces and according to you I'm entering my villain face.

Speaker 2:

He already knows, but that was that's the only personal thing I had happened. I was like what's this message?

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's like who's sleeping in my the ends? Oh, hello, exactly. I was like, oh no, you know the kind of. I'll be friendly, we're Pisces, we're friendly, okay so yeah, that's, that's all I got. Okay, cool cool. Well, today's we're talking about singles. We have five amazing singles. Well, we started with how many?

Speaker 2:

Like nine, yeah, and then I'm started chopping some off like eight, then six. Now we're down to five. We're good.

Speaker 1:

I'm like I'm taking this one out and you're like okay, First, like what happened to these songs? This butterfly took them around. I'm like no, I took them out.

Speaker 2:

Well, it was like, yeah, it was like one day I'm listening to them and then the next day I go in and I was like Did I accidentally skip a song? You know what? What just happened? I looked at the list. I'm like this is different. So I Messaged panic. I'm like, um, did you change the list? Or you know I was because I was like did Spotify remove music? Yeah, you know, take it off the site completely.

Speaker 1:

Which remember that happened when they had this brouhaha with South Korea in cacao.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I do remember that all this kpop group, yeah, we did.

Speaker 1:

I was like I was freaking out because I had like playlists right and like favorites and I'm like Freaking out and having a yeah, I was.

Speaker 2:

Oh no, me too, because I remember I went to play something. I was like what, where, the where is it? Yeah. So then I'm typing in you know, search for. Because I was like how did I delete that? And I'm like search nothing, what Where'd they go? I remember we talked about that, oh yeah, at the time that it happened, oh yeah, and then I'm like how am I gonna do this, because I use this also for the show.

Speaker 1:

Do I need now to subscription? This is BS Girl? But then they made up and they became buddies again, and then now everything's fine.

Speaker 2:

Everything reappeared.

Speaker 1:

It was like magic my god, you know we're like. Why are you messing with the consumer? Why stop messing with the customer? Stop it. All right all right, so we're gonna be talking about five singles. Yes we are.

Speaker 1:

One came out like a while ago, but the video just came out, so this single came back as popular and we're gonna start with Fantastix from XL tribe and the song is tell me that, that, that, that, that Tell me what you tell me. Very funky Disco, which is something that we love to groove on. This is this is the house party song Nice vocals that alternates from singing to rapping. I like that. That's pretty cool, keeps it catchy and, just you know, gets you in the groove. But the trap beats the reggae guitar With the soul tree vocals. Oh, seductive trap. It's around two minutes and twenty nine second mark. Oh my god, it just changes. That holds mood. Oh, love it. That is just. That's just to get your attention While you're dancing and not really paying attention listening to the lyrics. That's that mark right, there is just to like, listen to me. I'm like, oh, wait a minute. What happened? I thought we just grew me up over here. But yes, I'm always love this song Because it's very danceable and, of course, the disco.

Speaker 2:

How about your vibes. Well, I definitely. I had the the disco vibe for sure. Mm-hmm, this is like a Superdance song. It's got a little bit R&B, a little bit of funk, like you said, super danceable. The walk-a-walk-a guitar, oh yeah, and again, yeah, their vocals are Amazing, especially when they're like you know tell, me tell me what you want. So, yeah, this is definitely club Disco music. This will get people out on the floor. Just start bopping around. Yeah, oh, awesome, and we've.

Speaker 1:

We really do love all the different exile tribe, each groupings each group have a different vibe Each the other really good and you know LDH have a really good concept when they do that. I'm surprised that fantastic from exile tribe is not as popular as other ones because right now the rampage generations have been for a while Mm-hmm, and also ballistic boys. This is like ballistic boys. The ones that I get the most are ballistic boys and the rampage.

Speaker 1:

I was gonna say yeah, rampage is huge, huge, popular huge and ballistic boys, which I think is the most new. No, it's not the newest one, because we have, oh my god, the hip-hop. I don't think they're do or no the five, their hip-hop, fantanum a fantastic met massive massive five which. Like hello, what are they doing? I like really don't know what's going on. Yeah, came out from the rampage, but it's a sub unit from them.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. We did listen to a couple of things by them, but it just have like maybe three or four singles. No much that we know of. Yeah, there may be more out there that we don't have Access so I guess that group is like totally different, vibe you know, but yeah each group have a different vibe.

Speaker 2:

same thing with Fantasics they're fantastic yeah well, they all have a little bit of crossover. Everybody sort of Experiments with different sound, but they, they do also in the same vein, have like distinct sounds. Yes so you know, know they're different, but this, yeah, this is just awesome because they the the range that they go through with their vocals and the music's just a little bit more to the funk, disco side of things, yes, but again still super danceable and Relatable now like, yeah, no more times.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this song is more club sound definitely like oh, another example the Jay Soul Brothers. It's, yeah, very Gossipally, very R&B, very, yeah, they're more soul. Hello, it's on the name they're the senpai's. You know they're a senpai group and yeah, totally different vibe, cool. So you know this is a younger group. Fantasics they're kind of younger. I think I'm not really that much know about them. I should do a deep dive one day.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, maybe cuz they I mean, they're sort of like a big pool of people that they just everyone's exile tribe, and then they'd sort of have their little offshoots. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah cuz.

Speaker 2:

Imagine if all of them were Girl on stage at once. You'd be like Like I wonder, do they do like exiled tribe, like Like no, yeah, they should do like festival festival Cuz there's so many groups you know, yeah, they could be their own weekend long festival, right Weekend, I think the whole week.

Speaker 1:

There's so many you know subunits it's crazy, yeah, plus the non-debuted ones, right, Whoo?

Speaker 2:

that would be. That would be quite a show.

Speaker 1:

I know it's like Two weeks of Concerts. Oh my god, I just gave an idea. Hey, putting it out there in the universe, it could happen. Mm-hmm, they're gonna take the dome, the Tokyo dome, for two weeks. Sorry, johnny's, it's just taking over by. Oh my god, that would be awesome, it would hmm. All right. So, moving on to next song, you want to talk about a spa? Okay or you want to go in order Whatever you feel like, because that that group is special.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so we're gonna save them a Kind of toys.

Speaker 1:

Let's make it number three three.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so we'll talk about Espa right now.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that's why I took a lot of those songs out. I Because this girl group, I mean this song. Yes, it's awesome, it is. I'm like yes, I do have better things to do with my time. I Love this song from Espa, of course. Why all these songs I love? This is a very house salsa. There's some reggae in there too. Besides the ladies, amazing vocals. The drama arrangement drives the song. Oh, oh love. This is uber catchy, so danceable, infectious. This song is tame, though, compared to other other songs that are more like other singles that are very popular, they're more in your face, mm-hmm. This is a bit more tame, which I like is refreshing, because it demonstrates that the ladies can be versatile, right, not just always like savage and spicy, they're just like very like in your face.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm, I say, you know, and I custom savage.

Speaker 1:

You know they're this. One is just. You know we can be, you know, not on your face. Well, we can tell you off very nicely. You know, with class We'll get on your face if we have to, but sometimes, you know, we need me to approach things with class, and this is what this song is all about. I love it.

Speaker 2:

Yes, definitely. Well, like you said it, latin beats. It sort of reminded me of Miami sound machine, yeah, especially the drumming, definitely very danceable and, like you said it's, it's sort of sweetly telling somebody like boy, you blew it and I. Always there's sort of this Strange, you know, I have better things to do with my time, but yet you're talking about having better things to you know. Well, if you have better things to do, why are you telling him? But of course, then how else would he know?

Speaker 1:

or they know the person that you're talking to.

Speaker 2:

So it's just, it's very sort of sassy and and like attitude, without being harsh, without being Torchy, and you know like, oh, you left me. She's just like I thought you could love me, mm-hmm, but apparently not. So now I've got better things to do with my time. And they go on to talk about. I'm now, I'm big and the only way you can see me is that a sold-out show. Yeah, like I have no time for you at this point. I'm, I'm just moving on living my life, mm-hmm, and better things. It's just the minute I heard it I was like oh yeah, I love this song. Yeah, I'd be out dancing to this. Yeah, and there's a few people I'd like to say this to oh yeah, I got.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then you want to know about me, know all about me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's really cool. Yeah, it goes back and forth from side to side, like and you're like what?

Speaker 1:

I was like no, walk away, boo, let me knock it over. Yeah, no, ain't gonna be happening.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're done.

Speaker 1:

I'm done with you.

Speaker 2:

So it's just it's. It is. It's got a great attitude without a whole lot of, you know, effort and anger. Yeah, she's just like I'm done off. I go Mm-hmm. I'm good better without you, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Exactly love this sassy song is sassy with class, oh yeah. Yeah sassy class. Not spicy than savage, which is good too, you know. Sometimes you depending on your mood, you know, but this was class. Sometimes you've gotta get you know, savage because it's like, oh no, I'm done, I can't it's just like Well, you know, that's awesome.

Speaker 2:

Is I sort of envisioned like she, they, whoever is dancing around in the kitchen, sort of like humming to themselves, baking some brownies and being like, oh yeah, you know? I mean like just chilling out, yeah, and you're sipping some coffee, being like, yep, I got better things to do, I'm gonna hang out on my own, hang out with my friends, just exactly through with you, buddy or lady or whoever they're talking to, exactly I'm through with you.

Speaker 1:

Goodbye, boo.

Speaker 2:

So it's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Don't let the door hit you in. So, yes, it's past better things, that was awesome. Now the next one. I am P. Okay, cruisin.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, they're debut single. Oh my god so awesome.

Speaker 1:

So good, my god. This group debut song to the company of to be thank you, takee Yay, takee, takee yay. Thank you, thank you, thank you yes putting it out there right away. Yes.

Speaker 2:

Spotify, let the world hear it.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, oh girl. Yes, the song has this global pop sound, which I'm glad and happy. You know they took that approach. It's fun, it's catchy and so groovy, please, you know it's. It's surprising that they dropped a heavy bass with the Chimosa, chimosa and like and a rap of 34 seconds like so quickly and I was like whoa, that's.

Speaker 2:

Which? Well, especially cuz they start out with the doodoo doodoo.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like in most songs, you know, when they get into this, like grungy trap, I want to say, or more basic is either towards the middle or the end, but this time it was just like no, 34 seconds, whoa, I'm like what? Okay, so just to let you know IMP is not here to play. Imps to get you know fans is to like. Their debut is. It was good, it was explosive, it's, you know. But also the song they turned from singing and rapping to. I like that. So this approach, it's so refreshing and I hold tacky keeps something like that fresh and new and, and you know, definitely, if this is the vision that he wanted with the no, I'm gonna go back in the past. If this is the vision that he wanted in the other company, mm-hmm, oh my god, are they missing out?

Speaker 1:

Yes they're missing out. With tacky. I mean so much because this envision is so good that well, whoa, yeah, I'm so glad that tacky's doing this. I applaud him.

Speaker 2:

I applaud him absolutely, yes, definitely pop sound, almost 80s pop sound. Yes, this could be an anime theme. This could be, you know, some sort of like friends action show going on, like it's awesome. But it's also great for a dance tune because it definitely it gets you bopping around and moving, mm-hmm, and they've got the. The transitions throughout the song are just amazing Because you know they've got the, the beginning, the dude, dude, dude, dude, yeah. And then, like you said, they, they go into this sort of rap and then, like, halfway through, that's this dreamy, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like whoa, what did I just take happy, go lucky to like in your face to like, yeah, like again dreamy. You're like what?

Speaker 2:

and actually I was thinking about on my drive over here. I was, you know, obviously re listening to everything and I was like you know what cruising it's like a cruising song. Yeah, this is what. Back when I was younger, we had this that we called it the strip. It was one way road through the middle of the busier part of town, business district, with, you know, lots of shops and stuff, and that was the thing to do in summer Was cruise down the one-way street with your music playing. So, yeah, you had everybody's stereo is going. But that that's what it made me think. I'm like, oh, yeah, you should be cruising to this, no, just hanging out and it's just fun.

Speaker 1:

It's definitely like a party song, a little mini anthem for everybody one of the lyrics is like if you're feeling down, we just would coming to your town. I'm like, yes, I'm feeling down, come over we need shows over here, you know how long, how long have Sarah and I we've been complaining. We're like, we're sad Nobody's coming over here.

Speaker 2:

Come on, I am Pete tacky please Get them some more music and get them up. Yes, get them over here.

Speaker 1:

Yes, please, come on. I mean we're. I'm like I was telling fam. So now that I said that family was like, oh, so what's not coming to Boston, not even New York. I'm like what's going on? I'm like, okay, so you're feeling it. I've been Sarah and I. We've been seeing that on the podcast for a for how many episodes now?

Speaker 2:

We've, even when we've seen shows close by, like well, not even close, new York, yeah, but we're like you know, it's just always New York exactly. So they even remember New York because there have been some groups that were like LA's the thing. There's a whole rest of the country you could be coming to. People would be there.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god. So, so yeah, family was complaining. I'm like what's going on when they used to come to Boston? I'm like, see, we gotta do something. We gotta sell what's going on with Boston. We gotta sell this out. We gotta do something. We gotta do something for our town.

Speaker 2:

Anyways.

Speaker 1:

Please come to our town. You said that we're feeling down. Come to our town. I am P Jackie come on.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, don't leave us in the middle of the ocean. No, that was a reference to one of the lyrics as well.

Speaker 1:

But see, just to tell you that we do listen to these songs. You know absolutely, oh my, when we do our assignment, we do our assignment. Oh my god, doing our assignment with this one, this solo song.

Speaker 2:

I can't wait for the whole album. I am looking forward to this.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we're talking about mr Kim Tae-young On, aka V from BTS, with the single Love me again. Oh my god.

Speaker 2:

We talked about the video for this.

Speaker 1:

Yes, oh yes, which is the last episode. Two episodes, two episodes ago.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yes, two episodes ago. Yes, two episodes ago. Oh, I do have a ransom rambling. If we can do a quick one, oh sure Okay, Anyways see, that's just to give you a preview.

Speaker 1:

Everybody you know, but love me again. Huh, soul, ambient, lo-fi Ballad and just melty, just hypnotic. Oh my god, his voice. I always love Tay, tay's voice, mm-hmm, when he did Singularity, when it, when it? Will that drop up please? I can't even talk. I still got you Because it's that good. This is like oh, look at me, chills, already chills, and like Toe curls and, oh, my goodness, everything curling and yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, my hair is curl because my hair is like oh my goodness, talk about loving this song, love this song, taste, voice, the music arrangement. Omg, he's lolling me with his delivery, just lolling. I'm just hypnotized by his voice. Oh, at 157, that mark, the trans music, the instrumental. It just definitely puts me in a hop hypnotic stage. When that drum beat happens at 222, which is so interesting to 222, another number thing that we like slowly brings me back because of course, he's like starts singing again. I did change one of the lyrics for my personal use. When he sings lost without you, babe, I change it. I changed it for my, for my personal use to I feel like I'm lost in a dream with him. Mm-hmm, oh, love it, love it. Okay, I'm just gonna stop like that, you go ahead because I just yeah, well, this is.

Speaker 2:

It's definitely like soul R&B, just very laid back. His voice is so creamy in this, oh, it is so smooth. And what I love is the music is Sort of just a little a background noise, a light, the. The focus is on his vocals.

Speaker 2:

His vocal is what, except for at that, that break with the sort of Dreamy music which sort of yeah, you can see sort of Thinking about what else can I say to tell you that I want you back, that I love you so much I don't know what to do, mm-hmm. So that's. You can just sort of see the leaning back with eyes closed, being like in this dream state of how how can I make things right again? And it's just so beautiful and the whole sentiment of the song is just. You can feel the longing and the Like I'm lost without you. Babe, you're like oh, I mean I would forgive him in a heartbeat. Yeah, whoever's upset with him, get over it, because listen to this, this pleading without being like begging exactly Just sort of a longing like.

Speaker 2:

I miss you so much I don't know what to do. I hope you're thinking about me too, because I like it. I can't go on.

Speaker 1:

It has.

Speaker 2:

I want you to love me again.

Speaker 1:

Right, it has a hint of sadness. It's not like right that like cutting my veins off because I'm like so sad. No right, it's just like a hint of sadness.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's. He's not locked away in a room Just crying and moping about it. He's going about daily life, but thinking I just I want you to love me again, I want you back you know, Want to make it right, you know. I mean, it's just in that part where his voice is just a little bit higher. Oh, my god, yes and he's just like you know.

Speaker 1:

Yes, we can't. It's a sweet sad song, it's so cute.

Speaker 2:

It is. And then when you, when you pair it with the actual video, yeah how he's doing that, like like this subterranean club right, yeah. So he's. So. He is low, he is down, he's yeah, he's underground in the dark, sort of trying to come through, and with those sparkly shirts, that's what he's doing. He's sort of trying to shimmer back through the darkness and the the depths of being so lost without you. Oh god, love this man. You're not the only one girl. I know.

Speaker 1:

I Love this boy too, like oh my god.

Speaker 2:

He's well, he's close to man. It's gonna be what? 28? Well, we're always like, once they're 30, they're a man for us, but yes, he's close.

Speaker 1:

But this is cookie age, but yeah, but, oh my god, yeah, no this is just.

Speaker 2:

I love how the focus is on his voice. Yeah because it it is. He's just got such an amazing delivery every time, even when they're doing their like hyped up BTS stuff to, yeah, when he's like he can do amazing things with his voice, yeah, oh, anyway, yeah, I'm getting all. Put the fan on you now, Wow yes, I mean this, it really is I know he's your fave for me.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I know he's your fave.

Speaker 2:

Well, he's my bias record. Jin's my boyfriend.

Speaker 1:

Well, Jin is in the military. Tei Tei, you're not in a military. The young is gone.

Speaker 2:

Well, and oh god, I love his hair. Now to the that blonde looks really good on yeah. We were talking about the caramel. We loved the caramel, yes, sort of a couple of years ago. But there's something about this blonde. Yeah, looks really. And he's been blonde before, yeah, but it's different because I think, cuz the hair is a little longer, it's a little they give him a bit more.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, so it's, it's not super long Mm-hmm, but it's just, it's gonna bounce to it and enough way. Oh Perfection, he knew what he was doing. God, this kid Wow.

Speaker 1:

See, that's why I want to go first, because I can't vent out and be like.

Speaker 2:

Well, everybody knows I have at least one in every group that I'm like oh yeah, that's my boy, I Love Jin, but Tei, like I mean, you know, oh yeah, he it just like.

Speaker 1:

It's like, okay, so you meet them, and then, for some reason, you, you know, you meet either eyes with Tei and it's just like whoa.

Speaker 2:

He just looked into my soul, excuse me, you know like, yeah, everybody else has friendly eyes, or you know? Yeah sparkly, just happy Him like he does. He looks right into your soul and you're like, oh yeah, I have no secrets.

Speaker 1:

It's just like your puddle. It's crazy. It's like, yeah, like if I'll see Jen, I'll be like Now, if I see baby over, I'll be like Take your dimples off. You just push his face. You know like a mom will do with her kids because you know he's my boy. You know like my heart goes to him all the time. Young is like something Awesome drinks. You know he's more like well, he's gonna your bro first.

Speaker 2:

I got a. What assess you first?

Speaker 1:

Oh, you can tell.

Speaker 2:

When you look at you, he's like, yeah, he's doing a scam. He's like he's trying to determine are you worth the time?

Speaker 1:

Well, you have to give him town. You know, let the same. I like side, I like Cool Hi. You know. Now, when it comes to mr Jim in it's, you know it's kind of you need to be more graceful for some reason, I don't know, because I see him like a prince.

Speaker 2:

Well, he's but he's so flirty, like you know, you know he'd he'd sort of put his head down and look at you, sir, sideways, and be like hey baddies, little eyes like like a dough.

Speaker 1:

I'm like, oh cute. You know, you're so pretty J home.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, he's so cute, he's so mr Sunshine yeah, I will be like innocent, even though you know he's not innocent. Yeah, like the. That first impression would would be like oh, hi, yeah, hey, the eyes would open.

Speaker 1:

My smile Will be from ear to ear because he's like mr Sunshine, just brings you the smile, is, you know, happiness, and Cookie's just like your little boy, so cute.

Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, that would be that it's like eyes of wonder.

Speaker 1:

Oh, who are you, little baby, you know just like, oh, where you boo. But then, then, tay, you see, tay, you're like oh my god.

Speaker 2:

Like, yeah, you'd start melting from the feet up. You'd be like, oh no.

Speaker 1:

You know that you, for the lady with the, with the people on the back, then she's like falling back. That's me like Having a faint attack. Oh my god, like like hold me back. Oh my god, I'm dying over here.

Speaker 2:

My legs, my legs are going Well, he would be like the hardest one to look in the eye because, like I said, you'd be like oh my god, he knows what he could see.

Speaker 1:

Every thought in my head, oh my god, yeah, definitely. And his voice, oh.

Speaker 2:

Please, I know right, mint, he start even his speaking voice. Yes, like oh, oh, angel, definitely.

Speaker 1:

You're like. I need to sit down. What's going on? I just need to sit down. I can't stand up. Is he gone?

Speaker 2:

OK, well, that's why I'm saying it, because I heard and obviously everybody else has heard or maybe not, maybe you haven't his other single, rainy Day. And then they just released previous tracks Christmas Tree, ok, scenery, you know other stuff on Spotify To get you prepped.

Speaker 2:

So aside from the solos on the albums. They've put out some of his, which they've been doing with everybody, and but yeah, I can't wait to hear the whole rest of the album because between the two singles from it that have come out already, he's just, like I said, really sort of working on the voice being the focus of the music.

Speaker 1:

He wants you to hear him and that's it's awesome he's been preparing himself when everybody's like when is Tay doing his solo? When is Tay is being preparing himself? Because he he has been studying the great soul singers from like the 40s, the 50s. No, we have Tony, the crew, the owners the pop from the 60s. Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

He's always liked the R&B singers from the 60s, so, yeah, he's really been. I think that this is not going to be like a pop album or a dance album like everybody else's right just from these two singles you already know, and sort of from even his solos. They're always a little different than everybody else's. Yes, more, more soulful, more again about the emotion and the voice.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this just really gets you more feeling like whoa just deep in you love, oh yeah. I know right, we're freaking out over here, Anyways we better move on. Yes, last but not least song which this Tay Tay song was more of them, the pre are warm up to this song. Because when this drop now, you and family were sleeping when this drop.

Speaker 2:

Because I can't help it.

Speaker 1:

Well, you didn't know, and, of course, maybe in an up early and I saw the video because that's the only thing that came out first I was my jaw drop, but not at the beginning of the song, it was more towards a few minutes or no, we're a minute after. Anyways, we're going to be talking about snowman's the bomb, da bomb, da bomb. Oh, and it was a bomb. It's a bomb, it's, it's, oh my God, the reggaeton. I got down tempo, we have house, we got Hollywood. Yeah, hollywood, it's crazy. I mean, it's the Asian sounds, the tropical sounds.

Speaker 1:

The club feels the song has everything. That's not all, I mean, it has everything. Everyone's vocals are, of course, superb. Love them vocals. Geez, oh my God, getting chills again. But a different reason, but the one, the one that might, might my jaw drop because if it wasn't for the video, I did not know who the heck was doing it. The baby Raul, excuse me, baby boy, where did that? Babies came from, like no, I was like what, what did you hit puberty now, for some reason, I don't know, and I was like look at me got chills because I'm like no way.

Speaker 2:

The baby. No, I was like that too. When I actually you had sent it to me, yeah, but I just listened to it. I didn't watch the video because I was at work, so I just listen. So when I did finally watch the video and see who was singing, I was like, oh my God, that's Raul.

Speaker 1:

What happened? I DM Sarah going the baby, the baby, the baby, fire, fire, fire, fire, fire, bom, bom, bom, bom, bom. I did the same thing with family. Family came to me with like eyes wide open and they're like what Did just happen? I'm like, right, it's like Raul. They were like what, what? They were speechless, just the same way. I'm like what? I? I yeah, but I mean everybody did great. I was just very surprised about Raul and also ran with the base. Now I could see Ren doing the. It's just I never seen Raul doing a base. And then, of course, with his visuals and that video, oh my God, this out, live, this gotta be. When is this happening? Live, we gotta be there. If it just for one day, we'll just travel over to see that.

Speaker 2:

They gotta come here.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, but everybody's voice. Amazing Cause we have the, the rapping as well. Then we have the vocal. Oh my God. Oh my God. Thank you, Mike Wondring. He was so sweet. Now, that is something I was not doing. Vocals like no, he was more into the rap. Now you're a boy, that's gay. Yes.

Speaker 2:

He's our first, because this song goes through some transitions. Oh yeah, it starts out like you were saying it, like that snake charmer with a one motto Very danceable, very heavy beats. It's Bollywood. It's everything you were saying. It's so intense, right? And then, like 30 seconds, dice K comes in and is sweetly like da da da. And you're like so what just happened to music?

Speaker 2:

And then, like 15 seconds later, it's like boom, dan, and it all over and it starts up again and then, like you said, you know Koji comes in, but Date sama yeah. When Mia Date was singing I was like I didn't expect that. Yeah, he's sort of it's sort of rapping, sort of singing. It's not straight up intense rap, but it's almost like he's talking the lyrics with a little bit of you know tone to it, but it's so intense.

Speaker 1:

He's so intense. Oh, he is intense Girl.

Speaker 2:

Like I said, when Raul style is like what that's Raul? Oh my God.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, raul is. Oh my God, raul is crazy. I was like what's the man who Raul Right? So this one.

Speaker 2:

I was like the the beats part. The heavy parts are so awesome. Club music it's just when you have those, those interspersed melodic periods. I'm like, what would you do? You'd have to sort of just sway for a minute before it went back into the. Yeah, so you could do it. You could, but this is definitely more of like a live show experience. Yes, because you can do that, that's what I said.

Speaker 1:

I want to see this at a live show, like it has to be seen live, definitely yeah.

Speaker 2:

Cause it's. It's either you listening in your house, in your car, or seeing it live, because that's the only time where you can sort of do that transitional dance and not lose momentum. You know what I mean with a, with a club thing, so yeah, but it is so, so crazy because also, when Raul's singing, the way the bass is so heavy and reverb, so you're like wait, is that his voice or is that the bass? Is that that's his voice and the bass? What's going on Like?

Speaker 1:

it is so crazy, the boy the boy has actually for some reason memorized or captured the sound of the bass and he was freaking imitating it that it was. I'm so blown away by his vocals. I know, I know, I know everybody's in here, but oh my God, that I'm. Yeah, I'm highlighting Raul, it is just because it's like it's well, you have to hear it.

Speaker 2:

It's such a crazy like. Oh, yes, like, but it's his voice, not actually the bass at point. So you're like what am I hearing? It's insane.

Speaker 1:

He is blending with that damn bass. That is ridiculous. It's ridiculous.

Speaker 2:

So this is another one, though, where the video I'm like nobody, nobody's dressed the same. Some of them look like they're at one of those like late nineties, early 2000 paint parties you know the club paint parties. Some of them look like that.

Speaker 1:

Some of them look like they're going to a cocktail bar or something.

Speaker 2:

And Raul in that like sequined suit. Oh yeah, that definitely showcases it. It's crazy.

Speaker 1:

I will hate to say this, but the highlight of this song is Raul, the visuals, the vocals, everything I know. There's no member. I love my Koji. Eight other members.

Speaker 1:

I know, but it's just Raul is. I don't like to single anybody out, it's just. This is very surprising because we have we have not seen this from Raul. I mean, we have seen him showcase his moves always when it comes to videos, when, oh my god, which one was it Not fire? Well, this fire in the video. But they showcase them one by one, but they're all wearing white.

Speaker 1:

But when it comes when Wamoto does his singing, and then Wamoto or Fukuzawa, one of them goes like look at down the floor and of course you know, is you know Raul doing his dance? And then he's showcasing his dancing moves. There's not no singing and when he does his thing is with the rest of the group. You know nothing special. And even with all the songs, his voice is, you know, just part of the song.

Speaker 2:

Well, it's usually more mid range yeah.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

So not not a high voice, just sort of a mid range tone so he's very easy to listen to and blend in with everybody in the music.

Speaker 1:

Not this, this is a complete and when he talks is more high, you know higher. And even when he laughs he has this high pitch laugh that when you hear this you're like what I know.

Speaker 2:

It's insane, it's crazy, that's what I said.

Speaker 1:

He just hit you already At 20. Man.

Speaker 2:

Well, maybe now, maybe it's just now they're not afraid to let him. You know he's 20. They're like it's good, you can. You can start showing a little, you know appeal as opposed to just cutesy you can be, you know exact, alluring.

Speaker 1:

My goodness. And speaking of, he just did his catwalk this weekend. Yes, I have not seen it yet. I seen pictures.

Speaker 2:

I can't wait to see that, I know, you know. See what the concept is this time.

Speaker 1:

Of course, gonna be amazing, because he always does amazing yes, okay, now the bomb is not all about Rourke.

Speaker 2:

Even though we had just needed all about Rourke.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, Amazing track. Everybody's vocals are amazing. I was so happy to see Dice get first. I'm like oh, I know that's a smile, that's really good. Hey, can't go wrong with him A little bit on your face right there he's like with that intense rap that he does you know, and ran with the bass too, which I was like, okay, bring the babies with the bass.

Speaker 2:

Like I said, just great track, great way it transitions in and out of sounds so amazing. Check it out. Yes, only on YouTube. Only on YouTube. It's there and it's worth it. It's definitely worth it.

Speaker 1:

Anyways, thank you everybody. Thank you everybody Joining us. Yes, we're listening to this Music, elixir singles. You know we should name this differently. I will think of something when we talk about singles.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, we'll think of something, but if you guys have rants and ramblings, you know why not singles hey yeah it works. No, we can figure some out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, or if you know anybody who's listening, who would like to partake on titling this segment that'll be awesome. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So, instead of us just saying we're gonna do singles, give us a good idea for the camera sound naughty too.

Speaker 1:

We're gonna do singles. Huh, we're gonna do singles. No, just me, just me 31. Oh good, great. Well, everybody here is a single person, I think.

Speaker 2:

I hope most of them yeah.

Speaker 1:

Little babies, anyway, a lot of children. I don't know. He won't want to do something like a child. Well, no, he's 30. Wait a minute. No, he won't want to 30.

Speaker 2:

No, that Well. Oh, he might be by now. That's case Definitely. That is just dirty. I think he will not do. Maybe 29, 28, 29.

Speaker 1:

See, now I got to go back and check out their day Even though he's the leader, he is not the oldest. No, I guess the oldest. Yes, Look at you, that's case, the oldest In your eyes he's 60. If I'm going by that math that your friend my eyes is 60. So, yeah, he's good. Three more years he can retire, if he wants to early. Oh man, Okay, Thank you everybody for listening to this crazy music, a lecture episode. Please read, review and share share, share.

Speaker 1:

Give us five stars. We love constellations and, of course, have an amazing, amazing day. So next time, bye, bye, journey.
