OK ASIA

Speaker 1:

Hello, this is Tannick and this is Sarah, and you are listening to Music Alixir a podcast between two friends discussing their favorite Asian artists in music.

Speaker 2:

Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Music Alixir. This is Sarah, and with me is Did you panic, or is it Tannick? Tannick, tannick, tannick. Oh my god, that's too funny.

Speaker 1:

I do. You have to check that episode.

Speaker 2:

Was that the last one? I think that was the last one. Yes, on Rance and Rembley.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you were like already. I was saying Tannick, it's writing. Tannick, instead of a panic.

Speaker 2:

Weird silly thing.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of AI, because there's a song here. I hope it's not AI generated, but anyways what are the ones we're doing? We're going to be talking about singles today. This episode is about singles, meaning songs that we have picked a month ago, they were new but still new. Some of these are still popping and being hot in the charts. Yes, indeed. Do you want to introduce the songs that we're talking today?

Speaker 2:

I don't know. I thought we'd just introduce them as we went. No, Okay.

Speaker 1:

We always something different. I know, last time I was like let's draw out our hat and just talk it and don't say one of us, but at a chance. And today I'm like no, we can't do that.

Speaker 2:

I'm not prepared.

Speaker 1:

Of course oh, we're shenanigans. Speaking of shenanigans, there's something about with Fuma, but of course we'll leave that for Rance and Rembley.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, that one always has shenanigans.

Speaker 1:

All right, so we're just going to go with introducing as we start talking. Yeah, I think so. All right, you want to go ahead and?

Speaker 2:

introduce this one, sure, so we're going to be starting with Itzy in there. Well, it's off of an album, actually like a mini EP, but the song is style, because when I was listening through I was like, yeah, this one sort of caught my attention. Yes, now, actually did we? I was trying to remember, did we see Itzy?

Speaker 1:

I was going to ask you that. I think we did. Yeah, I think they were at the KCON, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Because I was like 2018, 2019.

Speaker 1:

Did we? See these girls 2018, 2019., 2019., 2019.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I think they were wanting. Because it kept ringing in my mind. I was like, yes, you know, I think we saw these girls. Yes, I was going to say, though I wanted to start with some news about their rapper, one of their rappers. Mia was diagnosed with anxiety disorder, so she's not going to be part of the tour that they're doing. She's going to be on hiatus through 2024. So it's a shame because they just I mean, this just came out and they were getting ready for a world tour- so, anyways, we wish her well, Hope she yeah.

Speaker 1:

And, and you know what, we leave that for ransom and remover, because there's, there's some. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, definitely, but I wanted to mention it because they are planning to do promotion for this Right, you know, and so it's a, it's a shame, but anyway, anyways so, yes, the song style which is from their Japanese album Ringo yes, If you don't know, yes.

Speaker 1:

And there's a big apple on their thing. I didn't look at the album cover, I just the pictures right there girls all dressed in black and white and there's a big apple behind them. Oh, okay, Big red apple.

Speaker 2:

I actually I don't look at the, I just plug stuff and I'm like, oh hey, I want to listen to. This I don't really pay much attention to, just to let you know everybody that this actual playlist is all by Ms Sarah here.

Speaker 1:

I'm like which one? Yes, this one. And this, the only one that I put in there because I know very well that she wanted to discuss. I'm not saying the name and I'm like I, that was the first one I put in there because she's like oh, you already put it in there, good Cause, I want to hear about this one.

Speaker 2:

I'm like okay, I know, I know which one you're talking about.

Speaker 1:

So it is a K-pop group. If you do not know about the group, you know, but do please check them out. This is a really good one. The the wrinkle album is, of course, for their Japanese promotions and people are really raving about. There were some actually fans saying we prefer them singing in Japanese than in Korean. I'm like what Wow? Cause I've been seeing some back and forth from from fans Interesting.

Speaker 2:

I know Very interesting and I'm like why?

Speaker 1:

why is that different? It's just a tonality of their voice.

Speaker 2:

Maybe. I guess you know they can sing smoothly in it. So hey, there you go.

Speaker 1:

So you know the song, the song style, you know it's. I mean come on, come on, it's a bop.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's a bop with the attitude that we love fun vocals because their ladies are like really loving it. The composition, the groovingness, of course we love.

Speaker 2:

Go ahead. Well, I was going to say I like how the opening to it is sort of like those um heralding trumpets that announce royalty. Yep, very fun, very fun. How do we do this deservedly, sort of like signaling something good to come, which is the whole rest of the song. That's very, very danceable it's, but it's also sort of following that trend of things sounding sort of like cheers or chants. Yes, there's definitely like parade, like drum beats, you know a marching cadence, but they have like this is just announcing we've got a style, you've got a style, and be proud of it.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. I love it. They have EDM beats. There's brass, there's bass, there's deep bass. They do rap, hip-hop, but at the same time, like, maintain their, their harmonies and melodies and beautiful vocals. So you've got, you know, this juxtaposition of sound going on. It's just awesome. I love it. And again, this the During the chorus, the brass, the sort of trumpet sound is there to accentuate them, being like always looking fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, you know, mm-hmm, it's just awesome, awesome. So I think this is a really good confidence song. Yes, I always felt like powerful while it was playing. I was like, yeah, this is my style, yeah, and and there is a line in there even saying, even if you have to go slow, walk in your own shoes because this is your style, mm-hmm. So it's awesome. I love this song. It was so much fun. Mm-hmm, so shine on you, little star. That's what they're, that's what they're telling you. You do you boo? Yeah, so awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, yes, definitely one of those songs that you can put in on your and gotta feel it this today. So, mm-hmm, those empowering, your empowerment playlist. Exactly that's one of them you want to put in there your power pop.

Speaker 2:

Yes, we're always talking about the power.

Speaker 1:

Your power pop, girl power, girl power song. Your playlist, definitely, mm-hmm, it's awesome. Yes, go check them out and I'm, oh that's, so sad about that. You know that she won't be able to. Yeah, be partaking one of the members? Be partaking in the tour? Ha, it's been happening way too much girl.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it has way way definitely.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways, let's move on to the next song. Yeah, oh my goodness, this one's another one that Sarah's like, I'm like. I know why you like this this. We're gonna be talking about Nisi, when you were mine, and you know that it has been over a year since he released any music.

Speaker 2:

I know yeah, it's been a year.

Speaker 1:

I didn't realize it until I was looking at dates of stuff and I was like, wow, I Over I'm not, and they're not a year, but over a year he releases album that everybody was anticipating for it. And then I'm like I haven't heard anything like in a while. He hasn't dropped anything new. And he finally dropped a single at home. Gee, I know right, it's all in English too, but I'm like, as cute as me, oh, his voice, it's so nice. It has that mm-hmm, high pitch, mm-hmm. But I mean he goes from his, you know Classical, classical, nisi, like high pitch. And then there's some like oh, the sultryness girl.

Speaker 2:

Right that that sort of lower tone girl register he uses.

Speaker 1:

This, this go inspired, but idiom as well. Oh Mg, what a comeback. This is such a comeback. The song is so danceable. I love, love, love. The bass, the bass player. I hope the bass player is not AI generated.

Speaker 2:

That's why I'm saying Because, oh, was this the one you were thinking?

Speaker 1:

yeah, because the bass is, so it's just perfect the slap and whatever. And I'm thinking I hope this is not an AI generated one. I hope this is an actual bass player, because this thing happening a lot.

Speaker 2:

Well, I was gonna say it's very possible it's AI, because this song was. He worked on this with a couple of Australian writers, mm-hmm. One of them's a DJ as well.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so it could be all that will suck, but anyways, because I'm like I love, it's still awesome. No, the bass is amazing the slap and the end and the pitch and the whatever, and I'm like I Hope I'm not because, yeah, if it, if it is AI generated, it's just disappointing, because I want to give kudos to that bass player, right, you know, and not just the computer, yeah exactly but anyways, a love of this song.

Speaker 1:

You know it. Then the whole sassiness that he has, like when you were mine, I'm like, excuse me, excuse me, but then I had you last night. I'm like, you know, like there the song is like we're not touching each other, but we're talking at it was oh, no, no, no it.

Speaker 2:

They are touching each other. Because he's talking about like? The very first thing is about how I was prideful and ice cold when we were together, yeah, but now that you're not, now that we're not together, we touch each other more. We're like. This is like basically the ultimate booty call song. We broke up, but now we can't like, we can't quit each other. That's what this is all.

Speaker 1:

I was having some like are they no longer with each other, or are they just seeing each other secretly? Or or is he just having major fantasies with his ex?

Speaker 2:

lover. Well, it could be a fantasy thing, but it seems more like, because he's like I was like I said, prideful ice cold when you were mine, yeah, but now we're not together, we can't keep our hands to ourselves and like, yeah, I don't know he, he talks about how bad he was while they were together, yeah. And then he's like and now we are on fire all the time, right, so I'm like. So I think I think this is one of those like realizing Toxic relationships, right, yeah, that you've got major chemistry physically, yeah, but that you can't deal with each other on an emotional level, right, you know, I mean mm-hmm. So I love this.

Speaker 2:

The like you were saying it's got that base is incredible, yeah, but it's like funk and his falsetto. And then 46 seconds in is where he starts all the, the blocks and the, the cowbell and the different sounds, like he goes full. Sheila E Do you remember Sheila? Oh, hell, yeah, yeah, okay, she was all about the percussion. So that's what happens and that's what I was thinking about. I was like, oh my god, this is like I. That's why I checked the writing credits, cuz I was like, did he get Sheila E To do some percussion? But you know what I mean? Yeah, oh, so awesome, so awesome. I just everything about this is so so cool, like, and he just he keeps the funk going, the whole time the whole time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so and, like you said, the way he he brings his voice down when he's singing in the all the parts about how bad the Relationship was any that falsetto comes out when he's like talking about we just can't keep our our hands to ourselves. And this is just. You can't stop moving to this.

Speaker 2:

No it is so Mmm, energetic, yeah, and sassy and sultry, and you're like, oh yeah, I'm feeling it. I'm feeling it. The minute I heard it, I was like, oh yeah, cuz you know this, it's got definite disco. Oh yeah, hints, hints to it.

Speaker 1:

You know what a comeback from like a year and a half, almost a year and a half ago, I know, right, you know, and oh, really love it Like. I said, oh, but he's not a I base, well, anyways, but great, great composition, great voice. Of course he is amazing and yeah is it a toxic relationship or is it just his major?

Speaker 2:

I don't know it sounds. It sounds too much like they're. They're hooking up and getting together all the time, cuz there is a line about late night message. So like the middle of the night I'm just gonna send you a message, give you a call and be like so.

Speaker 1:

Hey, four o'clock in the morning, what are you doing? Oh?

Speaker 2:

My god, oh, awesome, awesome. Yes, definitely check it out. Yeah, this is from go for it. Well, our boy Yamada, and the rest of the boys Look at you. Geez can you just say hey, it's just.

Speaker 1:

Yamada and the rest of the boys. You have completely changed. It's no longer a to jump, it's just Yamada and the rest of the boys.

Speaker 2:

Well, everybody knows how I feel about Yamada. Come on, geez. And the rest of the boys we're talking about, hey, stay, jump. And we chose because they have a little EP out. Streaming services but we went with the song ready to jump.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god not much of vocals, but OMG, this is so powerful, mm-hmm, come on, this is like hey say John, you know some energetic and powerful and just like, oh, I like it, I love it, it's dance, you know. Oh, yeah, of course it's very it's. Yeah, you're ready to jump when you hear this home. You know, it's just, it's just it's. I know it's mainly instrumental, but it's so chucky cast song, very techno driven and just high energy. I just feel like being in a sporty whip car and just like you know, just going around. You know, it's just, it feels that way, it's just, it's the only. Just like the group, definitely high energy.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, absolutely. Well, super reverb love that. Wah, wah wah wah the auto tone talk box. It has that like crazy jazzy brass ragtime. But what's interesting about it is that it's and I looked this up after I wrote this little Statement I said it's sort of a beatbox kazoo sound like people are just going Right. So interesting fact turns out, one of the people who wrote this is an artist called so-so so Takato, who is a beatboxer.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And a DJ. He's part of a group called Sarukani beatbox crew nice, so I forgot about that. After I looked that up, I was like, oh my gosh, so that makes sense. What's happening in this is a lot of beatboxing yeah, which is Completely other than cartoon, and Nakamaru, a completely new area for these guys, so awesome it. What this made me think of, though? It sounded like A video game, yes, and the different stages of music are taking you Through this adventure with, like, the movement, the journey, the fight and the victory, like it's got the whole video game going on in it when you listen to it. But there's also the, the double meaning of the words. Are you ready to jump?

Speaker 2:

right is pretty much all they say.

Speaker 1:

Yeah like.

Speaker 2:

It's not the only thing, but it's the main, correct, and so it's interesting Because it's. Are you ready to jump? Like in the dance sense, you know, jump around the dance floor, but also in the sense of like. Are you ready to jump into something new? Yes, which is so cool, and they do talk about that. Are you ready to jump into a brand new world?

Speaker 2:

Yeah but they also talk about we're head banging, we're dancing, we're doing this, are you ready to jump? So they have Mm-hmm, both meanings in the song. So cool, it's just so much fun and it's so high energy and you do yeah, you just want to cruise around to it.

Speaker 2:

It's so like Frenetic sounding, it's just like energy ball bouncing around the room. Yeah, so cool. Love this song. So happy for them. Something like different. You know what I mean. Yes, it's awesome. Yes, sort of like the little honeybee project. I can't wait to hear it more. Totally different type of music I want to hear them more in the streaming service.

Speaker 1:

Definitely, you know they're. They're dead. Yeah, they were so ready for something new. They are a new company new energy new more things happen this week, girl. Mm-hmm, yeah, mm-hmm. So that's for rent and rambling.

Speaker 2:

Yes, but that's what I'm coming up. I'm just saying oh yeah, yeah yeah, with the whole new change over there's gonna be oh yeah some changes in in Experimental stuff going on with the music and music production.

Speaker 1:

Definitely, oh, yes, definitely, yeah, all right. And now, speaking of Something new and a rebirth Well, not a rebirth. They had a rebirth buck in August. We're gonna talk about I am peace switch in. This is their third single. Yes, it is under to be.

Speaker 2:

Yeah definitely.

Speaker 1:

This is, like I said, the third single from the from their debut back in August. I have heard a pattern lately with these new music that's coming on, techno's making a comeback on compositions lately, so this one has that In the production, not much, but just some. I do like the whole the slow mix and then with the high energy and it's like the whole like bring my back, I like that you can do with my bed, and then come be and. I do like their tiktok dance. Yeah, it's really cold, I'm like.

Speaker 1:

I cannot do the feet thing. No, I cannot do that. That, whatever foot move that they do, I'm like. No, I don't have that. Had to look with my, with my hands, with my fingers. But they're definitely. Yeah. It's uh, I don't know high energy to get somebody attention, Mm-hmm. No, it's all I have.

Speaker 2:

Well, this, this one's another. It has a slightly like video game opening. Yep, it's kind of crazy, this Misleading I should say, Because what the song turns into is just awesome Goes into the bass, EDM beats, and it's another high energy, super danceable. And then all of a sudden it slows down and gets sort of all romantic and fantasy Like da da yeah they get that sultry voice and I'm like, why are like? It's like a movie theme, but it's awesome Even when they're saying jumping switching.

Speaker 1:

They're like jumping switching. I'm like really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, hey, baby, jump and switch. I don't know what that is Okay, but yeah, it's got piano synth and then it, like you know, it's all melodic and then it builds in energy again. This is like totally epic sound, totally. And the piano at one point has like classical music tones to it, simple but strong, like powerful. It's very again that romantic idea, like, oh, it's so sweet. And then they're like bop, bop and you'll ring my bell, okay, woo. And so this, this sort of, seemed to me like they're, they're discovering their feelings for you, you know, for a person, for someone, and they're just like you can be a classic beauty, you can be techno, cool, you can be anything. I want you to be my queen, my dear. Oh, my God. They're so awesome, you're so classy, like everything they're saying is just like. So, hey, ring my bell. That's an old saying too. There was a song way 70s.

Speaker 1:

I would like to hear this song in my ballad ballad instead of like this high energy and see how the tone is different.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah it would totally, yeah, change the meaning. But well, that's what's interesting is because what they do when they're singing about being my queen, you know, you're like oh, it's so sweet and then I would prefer, like in an R&B, see how that's.

Speaker 1:

oh yes.

Speaker 2:

That would be interesting.

Speaker 1:

Yes, very interesting, I would like to hear more in an R&B type. You know, boy band. Oh yes, yes, daki, can you do that? Redo this and, like I know they have remixes on it, but I don't think they have one in the R&B.

Speaker 2:

No.

Speaker 1:

Because that would have been, oh, I would love to hear that.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know, and I was interested because I'm wondering who's been writing for them. So I was looking at stuff. I didn't recognize the names really Okay Of people. But there's one of the composers, writers it's called Tak End. I'm wondering. I couldn't find anything about them online. I was like is that Taki?

Speaker 1:

It could be an alias Right For Mr Taki Sawa Taki. Who knows, Maybe?

Speaker 2:

Interesting Maybe, and the only thing I found linked to it was the name Toshi and I was like I don't know if that could be the Toshi. The only Toshi singular name we know is from Ex Japan. It's like doesn't seem like Toshi music. Yeah, so I'm trying. I was like I want to know who this is. It could be actually like a writing duo, a combo name, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Somebody that he, I don't know. No, no, no, no, who knows? Somebody knew that that Taki model found and was like hey you know, wow, work on some projects with me. Yeah, exactly, or it's just him, just being alias.

Speaker 2:

you know, I know, well, that's when, I saw it I was like tack, tack and huh, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

That's very interesting. Last but not least, we're going to be talking about Miss Sumney and the song stranger.

Speaker 2:

I know, when I heard this, I was like we have to do this.

Speaker 1:

This song is definitely dangerous in the lyrics. Wow, I love, love, love. She is giving the sultry vibes like no other with this song. I mean her voice, oh, her voice is just amazing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's got a beautiful voice, no matter what she sings.

Speaker 1:

She is amazing. I love all of her stuff.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I was addicted to I can't pronounce the name Gosh Gosh. Back when we first started doing this podcast, she had come out with a song. Oh my God, papa, mama, mama, mama. It's like this big long, but I was addicted to that song. I love it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Sumney is another one with a oh my God, with a voice that you just like love, Just love. She is the vampy girl here. She is a vampy lady here. I love the production of the song. It's just amazing. You have this sexiness suspense. Oh and the song you should, just it's the song should have its own category.

Speaker 2:

I know, yeah, you can't, you know you can't hold this into a no, it's not.

Speaker 1:

K-pop. It's not ballad, it's just has is I want to call it is the some knee category.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, you know, because it's not, it's not really dance, no, it's not rap or hip hop, or it's too many things all at once.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, but it gets you in your head. It's like this whirlwind in your head because it's like yeah it's like almost like a jack-o-lan-hide, because she's just like you know, I want to be your angel. But then also she just turns into this like I don't know, vempress, like I was saying, you know by what I'll take you or blow your mind.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1:

Like I'm going to be all sweet with you now, but then when I get you, yeah, she's like saying I don't care, we go all the way. I know.

Speaker 2:

I'm like hey, stranger.

Speaker 1:

Excuse me. I mean, it's like, yeah, I'll be all sweet night now, but I'll get you alone.

Speaker 2:

Forget it, I don't care, you're a stranger, I want you, I know, yeah, no, she says things like let's cross the line. Yeah, baby, I'll blow your mind. Yeah, let's go all the way. Hey, stranger, got to get to know you, get to know you. But I mean, but I don't care if this is the only time we're together, I'll get to know you for the night.

Speaker 1:

Let me be your angel. Gotta get to know you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, let me be your angel, but everything I'm saying is bad girl.

Speaker 1:

Yeah bad girl.

Speaker 2:

Vampi yeah, like you said. Jekyll and Hyde yeah, definitely a good description of this, because it's she's got well, the chant like the chant clap at the beginning.

Speaker 1:

So you're like what is this?

Speaker 2:

And then it goes into this like I don't know, techno, trance sort of music I mean, and it's, yeah, sultry and dreamy sounding and builds in intensity, base, huge bass, gradual guitar mixed in, and then that reggae beat, yeah, I mean, I was like what just happened, yeah. And then that's what I'm saying is his own category, the horror film, fun house, yeah, the suspense, the whole crazy music.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm like oh, my God the thing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the music that comes on when the crazy clown killers coming out to get you, you're like what?

Speaker 1:

What am I? What is happening with the song? But it works.

Speaker 2:

It does it works so well. That's why, when I heard it, I was like we have to do this. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

She is so amazing that for each sound that comes in her voice just blends with that mood. Right, I'm like oh my.

Speaker 2:

God she's, yeah, she's singing smooth and classy and sultry, and then she's rapping a little and then she's got that reggae chill vibe going on. It's so crazy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then she also gives you the crazy lady voice Right, like I'm going to get you.

Speaker 2:

Gotta get to know you. Like Mr Stranger, you know running with the danger, gotta get to know you. Yeah, I don't know. And she, she wrote this. Yes, so that's awesome. Yeah, that's even more awesome Again paid, I'm gonna keep streaming it.

Speaker 1:

I know right, keep streaming it.

Speaker 2:

But this is just. Yeah, this is like two ships passing in the night, but with heat. Oh my, they're like the boats are on fire. No, no girl.

Speaker 1:

This is a woman in the prowl and she is trying to get her next victim.

Speaker 2:

This is what I'm getting from it, you know, oh God, well, this is well, I don't know, because it seems it's not like she's looking for, just like this particular person. Hello.

Speaker 1:

That's why I'm calling vamps. What do you think a vampire is it's looking for?

Speaker 2:

no, no, I know, but but no, I don't know, Prowing like it's like she didn't look at everybody. She just saw this person and was like hey, you stranger, come here Like a vampire. Right Vampire.

Speaker 1:

I'm not gonna get anybody. I mean from all the vampire novels that I have read, you know just not gonna get anybody.

Speaker 2:

I suppose maybe she scanned the club before she focused on him, but it just seems sort of like a almost like it didn't matter. It didn't matter who it, there was no like. Let's see, it was just walked in and went you.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

I don't need to look around you. Exactly the first one I came across Come with me.

Speaker 1:

I don't think it was the first one she came across. I'll bet she's looking for the most lamb looking boy you know to like devour.

Speaker 2:

I don't, I don't know. I think she was looking for someone as dangerous as she was feeling. Someone who could keep up A lamb wouldn't be able to keep up, they'd just be done, no she's like I need someone to be my equal.

Speaker 1:

I'm saying differently. I'm just gonna get you know the most lambish sheepish boy out there because I don't know I'm in the prowl, and then I'm gonna eat you up and then spit you out.

Speaker 2:

Why? Because I mean that's funny that we see it different.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because I mean, that's how you choose out of club and you know she's looking, she is looking. You know guys may come up to her like you know they're strangers, but you know it's just like no no, she's definitely gonna decide Exactly Like no, I don't want you. You know, she's like really dismissing guys who are actually probably coming to her, but she's looking for the one who is not coming to her. So that's why I'm saying guys that don't really approach are the most sheepish one. Well, not always, you know, but it.

Speaker 2:

Players gonna play.

Speaker 1:

The desperate ones. I really don't care, but I mean, I'm thinking she's looking for the one that is not really approaching her. Hmm, you know, because she, she's just, she's out, yeah, she's.

Speaker 2:

She's a vamp.

Speaker 1:

You know, gotta get to know you, because you're not coming over to me. I'm coming to you.

Speaker 2:

Well, that's just cuz. She saw him and said mm-hmm, that's, that's who I'm taking that she.

Speaker 1:

Where's that lamb? Come here, boy.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. When she's talking about danger, like I said it, I feel sort of like she's looking for her equal Cuz. Sure, the bold guys come up and are like, hey, babe, and she's like you can't handle me, yeah, but this guy sitting at the end and sipping is whiskey, just ignoring everybody. She's like you're kind of a challenge and you're exactly what I need. You you're not, you're not trying too hard, but you're not just hiding in a corner, you're just doing your thing. That's what I need, that's what I want. That's where the danger is.

Speaker 1:

You know the cheapest boys gonna be dangerous.

Speaker 2:

They're too sheepish. No, they're gonna be like oh my god, oh, what did I? That's where the crazy like or thriller music comes in.

Speaker 1:

Like oh, no, she's gonna kill me exactly there you go, the vamp rest.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but yeah no, this song it's so crazy, like I said, cuz it's not, it's not something you really dance to it's something. You just feel it when it's happening. It's you go through all these sort of moods with yeah, where you're like okay, you know okay.

Speaker 1:

So, as we said, this is a some knee category. You know this doesn't have any any category. We cannot put this at a category at all. Right, you know, this is just some knee. So how to use this song as a person, your personal thing. Let's see your single woman.

Speaker 2:

Going out.

Speaker 1:

You put this song. You know is we want to get in that mood of trying to get somebody your hype. This is exactly this is your hype song.

Speaker 2:

She's gonna be your wing.

Speaker 1:

You're getting ready, you know you play this song and you know why you're getting ready to put it in the car and, whatever you know, you pump yourself up when you get there because then you, you gotta, you take that persona of the van press Mm-hmm, you know absolutely yes, oh my god this.

Speaker 2:

I love it. It's so awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it is an amazing song. Yes, something stranger. Please, please, I'm gonna keep streaming it because it's amazing, it is, it's awesome, that amazing. Yes, of course I'm not don't go out anymore, but if I don't know, by feeling it after a few drinks, anyways, yes, I can shut up. Can we give me trouble? Anyways, huh.

Speaker 2:

So this was awesome. I I loved this playlist. I just, yes, listen to it non-stop.

Speaker 1:

I was like, oh, my god, this, these songs are so cool. Yeah, it is a great and it's not just cuz I picked.

Speaker 2:

I was like oh, we have to do one of theirs a dog. Yeah, exactly, oh you see that you couldn't miss that one.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2:

And just Everybody else. Yeah, I am P, even though you know it's. We've covered a couple of their things. This one is another. Just new sound, you know, and that's what I liked about these is new sound, interesting sound. So even though, like I said, it's the that trend, especially with Korean girl groups of sort of sounding like cheer things. Yeah, this one was different enough. It had a really good vibe and just a good message as far as I'm concerned, like it wasn't just like. Hey, look at me, I'm so awesome it was like no, this is, you got to embrace yourself.

Speaker 2:

So right, awesome. And I feel sort of like for zoom me. This was like a sort of step out of what, because a lot of her stuff is Romantic, you know, not necessarily love songs, but just sort of more. You know, generic, Life is good, Love is good, you know. But this is like she's not a cool.

Speaker 1:

She's now at a point that she's like you know what I'm gonna do, whatever I want Exactly. I don't have to be that poppy anymore. And to you know, yeah, she has gained the popularity I mean, but even with the pop, without the poppy, and her voice is really it's amazing.

Speaker 2:

Well, you know she turned 30, so you know everybody goes up. She's old.

Speaker 1:

Well, there you go, that's what she said if y'all, I'm just gonna do this crazy ass song, be the way I want to, you know the one score. Really, my fans will appreciate it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And we're like yes, girl, yes, this is amazing, well thinking outside the box, exactly.

Speaker 2:

Well, also, and just as an artist being like, I am getting older, I'm maturing and I need to, like you know, not always just be like sunshine, happiness and rainbow Exactly this is awesome. This is awesome.

Speaker 1:

I mean some, actually, you know art idols have like you know what. Yeah, I'm 30. I'm 40. I'm like, why am I doing the cutie song? No, I'm not. Unless I'm doing, I don't know our children's. You know Song, I'll sing alone for kids, right, but I mean just for like, and I'm being like 35, the song's kind of crazy you know Well, so maybe you know, and she might have just tried something new challenge.

Speaker 2:

But obviously if she wrote yeah, if she had writing credit on this, this was like something she's like I want to go out on a limb, mm-hmm, and I want to like Sing something that I saw that I feel.

Speaker 1:

Just like you love me or you hate me, does it?

Speaker 2:

There you go. Yeah, we love her. Yes, absolutely. Yeah, all right, so definitely check out all these new songs from a month ago.
