Speaker 2:

Hello, this is Panic and this is Sarah and you are listening to Music Elixir a podcast between two friends discussing their favorite Asian artists and music. Hello everybody, happy New Year. Happy New Year. This is Sarah and I'm Panic and you are listening to Music. Elixir, we're gonna have a Ranson Ramblings to ring in the New Year. Yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 1:

Ring in the New Year. We're gonna talk about our Christmas, of course, and then, of course, things that we're thinking of doing in for the 2024.

Speaker 2:

Yes, going into our fourth year, oh MJ.

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 2:

Leading up to, I should say yes, we just had our little third birthday. But this is, yeah, start of our fourth year, and what a journey, oh my gosh. Yes, yes, girl, yes yes, yes, girl.

Speaker 1:

So on our last Rance and Ramblings episode where we were talking about our Spotify, oh, yes, yes. So our dear amazing platform Buzzsprout made one for their, you know, for everybody, for anybody who has a podcast with them.

Speaker 1:

So we have one. Yeah, you want me to talk about it? Sure, let's talk about it, because I wanna you know what I would like to do. I would like to present to them a snippet of us talking about the platform and, of course, talking about the rap, and just sending it to them. Send them an email, just a little piece, and if they wanna, use it in their own podcast I know they have their own podcast, yeah, they do their own stuff.

Speaker 2:

They talk about other things.

Speaker 1:

Hey, you're more than welcome to guys, because we love you.

Speaker 2:

Well, we have that snippet from the Christmas Rappt that we started talking about them.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Even though it was we were talking about the Spotify Rappt.

Speaker 1:

We did do a whole big thing on how much we loved working with Buzzsprout, so yes, but now we're gonna do their platform, so yeah, I think it's best to do theirs, because, I mean, come on, I was very surprised when I saw that and I'm like oh my god, no, I saw it too.

Speaker 2:

I was like oh hey, cool, I know, Did they do one last year.

Speaker 1:

No, they didn't.

Speaker 2:

This is the first one.

Speaker 1:

So that's why I'm like so excited, Right, Because this is the one that we count the most. You know they take everybody who we have a, you know a streaming platform in. They just calculate all the data, yeah, Total, total, total, everybody, and it's we is the best. I think it's the best. So, as per Buzzsprout, they're gonna backtracking our 2023 music elixir and, to recap, we have actually have a 43 episodes with them 47, 47 episodes for last year, I'm thinking a number three a lot, so don't I'm sorry, but I'm gonna be saying three once in a while.

Speaker 2:

I'm sorry for this year. For 2023, a total of or 2023, 47 episodes and cause we took a few, you know vacation days, so you know exactly.

Speaker 1:

They're calling us weakling warriors. Yeah, we are weakly warriors and for a few times that we just didn't. They say we average a 0.9 episodes per week.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, pretty much we. We try to have one a week. Sometimes you know things happen and you can't do it.

Speaker 1:

Vacation happened, family happened yeah, all the personal things happen. So they said musical elixir was in the top 50% Awesome Mm-hmm. Of all Bus Prout podcasts. Yeah, awesome. So I'll take it Right and guess what Number one most popular city you want to take a guess? Tokyo, of course, woohoo, even Bus Prout knows that we are big in Japan.

Speaker 1:

We are big in Japan. Thank you, don't easy that time everybody. So 492 downloads made in Tokyo. Tokyo, a hotspot on your listener map. What, oh yeah, mm-hmm. A. Notable cities are Nagoya, itemi, kochi, kochi, hirota, nagasaki and Yokohama, kanagawa. Those are our top four cities in Japan. What so? You know, if we go to Japan, we need to go to those cities. Yes, definitely, we'll just go hang out. We'll go hang out, we'll check out some spaces.

Speaker 1:

We're planning on a whole big tour of Japan, actually, you know since you're we need to oh my God, girl, at least a month, I know right, at least a month. Look so like I would like to, you know, spend like a week in Nagoya and then another week on Kochi, and it's just the second you know, most popular, and then of course Hirota as well, and Yokohama, and of course Tokyo, because you know, well then we might need more than a month, because we got to go to Osaka, we got to go to Hokkaido.

Speaker 1:

Ah, I know that's true Big wish list. Well, that's what I always say. We got to spend like at least two years over there. We can do Japan in two years. Yeah, that's true. Right, it would be a lot of moving. We couldn't buy stuff for like to keep up, buy and maybe ship it overseas. We're like I'm shipping stuff over. It's like what's all this stuff, I don't know, rent a warehouse or something.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, just put it in there, Get a storage one of those pods. Oh my God.

Speaker 1:

It would be funny if we do that and then we start shipping stuff where we're, to our families, Put it in storage. What we're going to live in storage if you keep sending stuff I'll this is what I can hear right now. You know, just imagine coming back and opening everything that we have sent. We're like, oh my God remember we bought this, this will be like a time capsule. Hey, I forgot about this. Right, like a time capsule.

Speaker 2:

That would be too funny, because it's sometimes like that. Anyways, you know, when you're cleaning your house and you're like, oh hey, I forgot I had this Right, it's like Christmas all over again, right? Look what I just found. Oh my God.

Speaker 1:

So 84 countries. We are a globe trader, which, of course, whatever I have meant, it but hey, it's true.

Speaker 1:

And then our top countries. We have Japan, united States, germany, malaysia and Canada. Yeah, thank you, thank you everybody. Of course, they also give us our top episodes, which this one's different, oh really. Then our other platform. I'm going to start from five up. Coming on number five, the unfolding of a breakfast saga and the music world of Fantastix, espa, imp V and Snowman. Wow, coming on number five, this is for this year, yeah, no, I figured, so I'm like wow On number four, team Stone Special Order.

Speaker 2:

Wow, still going, still going, because that was from our first year, right? First or second First year? It was the first year. Wow, yeah, no, it was definitely in the first year. Okay, now I gotta think about that. I know, right, I'm like, hmm, we don't have any.

Speaker 1:

So, coming up on number three, musicalyxer talk about the allure of Japanese boy band B First oh, thank you besties. Yeah. And number two, travis, japan, hollywood, tj Dream.

Speaker 2:

Really. Yes, girl, they got bumped out of the number one spot on BuzzFer. No, I was like what, what, what, what and number one Drumroll please Da da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da da.

Speaker 1:

Johnny's West, your wingman to paradise. Oh wow yeah, justin's were like no. So we gotta be number one somewhere. We gotta be number one somewhere, and that's one of our older, older episodes as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was here I'm trying to find. Yeah, Team Stones, March 28th 2021. Wow, so that was the first year. And then Johnny's West, your wingman, was also July 11th of 2021. Wow. So, also within our first year. That's crazy.

Speaker 1:

I know that's awesome, though, that people are still listening to older episodes as well, yeah, so hey, we do have older episodes that you can find on our website and our musicalixurebossbrocom and you can backtrack Old Nonsense that we have been talking.

Speaker 2:

The past three years of us just rambling on. Oh yeah, we're going to, I think, maybe try and get back into doing a lot of music again. Yes, Because that's, I mean, that whole first year. Everything, well, not everything. Right, we did have a few rants and rambles, but we had a lot of groups we focused on, sometimes more than once.

Speaker 1:

Yes, because we had, because fans have you know, can you please talk about this album? Can you please talk about this album? You know, yeah, and that's awesome. Now, of course, the those groups that we talked about, like Stones and, of course, west, they don't have streaming platforms, so it's really hard for us to actually, you know, listen to unless we, you know, get the music, and the fandoms are being really gracious to actually just send us the music, yes, so we can just listen to it and have our discussion. We're hoping that for the year of 2024, this will have will be different now for these groups. Now there is a new company called Starter, hoping that these groups will be in a, a streaming platform.

Speaker 2:

I mean, they have mentioned some things that they want to do for the future and I'm hoping that all these groups will be out for streaming you know, yeah, well, they've been slowly, slowly, yes, very slowly, of course, trickling some in because we do have Travis Japan, we do have hey Say, jump, rsc. Of course, cattoon We've talked about this a little bit before.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes.

Speaker 2:

So there are a few of them that are actually on streaming services and we just we're hoping that they're going to broaden their horizons a little, yes, so we do understand that some of these groups are under a different record level. Right.

Speaker 1:

Some are on top J, whereas I don't think is no longer top J. He's going to be changing names as well. Some are under Avax, some are under Universal Japan, so it's like because Travis Japan is under Universal Japan. No, yes, yes, no Capital, I'm not sure. Okay, yeah, it's there's, yeah, there's, but they still kind of like their cycle it's the umbrella under. Yeah, sort of strange way of breaking it up and but I think also stones is under Universal Japan, which I'm surprised. Why not, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

So it's yeah, yeah, well, and then also working with Yoshkei on imitation rain, exactly that sort of crosses, sort of boundaries too. So who knows? I don't. It's weird.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it is, you know, it's very strange, actually, when the 2020 around the pandemic, where they were on MTV most requested live, oh, yeah, yeah, they were interviewed, all of them were interviewed. So it's not like they were not put out there internationally, but like, why only the videos that you can, you know, hear, but no streaming? Like there was nothing. That just doesn't make any sense. It's like it's like here, but not really.

Speaker 2:

Right, well, yeah, putting the plate of food behind glass so you can see it but you can't taste it. Yeah, like I said, hopefully they're going to broaden their horizons a little and sort of start working their way into a more user friendly, international way of distributing music.

Speaker 1:

The same thing happened with snowman, because even snowman were interviewed by the same hosts on MTV and they were also playing the music and it was just like another thing. Yes, there's a group, but you can't listen to it on that.

Speaker 2:

It's not anywhere except for most of them do have a YouTube channel, so you can at least see the videos here, the music, that way, but it's not the same. No, it doesn't count the same way, yeah, no.

Speaker 1:

And I saw and I know a lot of these fans are like yes, this is great, yeah, youtube music, yes, that is great. But they don't. They want more for their artists than just that.

Speaker 2:

We want world tours, that too.

Speaker 1:

That too. Plus, I know some of these fans are hungry to give their favorite and actual award. They just like an MTV award or just like a what is it? Anon or MAM AMS. Yeah, you know, like they want to give their boys more, something more than just still in Asia. Just these pigeonhole over there, mm, hmm, you know. So anyway. So those are my thoughts, not only my thoughts, but you know, fans do actually voice that out to us. They they even asked me like did you panic? What can I do so they can like be more known in United States? I'm like, unfortunately, because of commercial radio, yes, there's some rules that they have to go through so they can they get played on the big national radio stations.

Speaker 1:

Uh, so yeah, I can do as much as I can with my little radio station, but unfortunately my radio station will not count for ranking for big billboards and blah, blah blah, just because we're nonprofit and we're non commercial. But, you know, M Monday somebody will wake up, like they did. Example BTS.

Speaker 2:

Yes, that's what I'm going to say too, and us, we're trying, we're talking about them and we're, you know, putting stuff out there and giving people resources to find this stuff. So, yes but also we were a small little operation. We pay for this ourselves, we do this ourselves. So, you know, we're limited to.

Speaker 1:

We are limited to, but, you know, with your help, many people know listen to these ladies Georgia, united States, and blah, blah, blah, blah blah. And also I do have a gut feeling that some of these people out in Tokyo because, hello, if we're big in Tokyo, it's because there's some big names listening as well. We hope so. You know, there's, there's things that have that have seen, like on YouTube, and I'm like, hey, we just talked about that. And it's just it's just a re-surfing thing. We're like what?

Speaker 2:

We, yeah, we've had some strange coincidences happen. After we talk about something, something else happens.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know like we're not there seeing, and then we'll just talk about it and be like oh, look at this. That episode came out when we just just talked about it. Like what?

Speaker 2:

You're like winking, oh, and some of the times where we've been like, didn't we say that? Right a minute. That sounds exactly like something we just said.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. So you know, hello the unknown.

Speaker 2:

Hello the unknown, I know right.

Speaker 1:

Who are you?

Speaker 2:

Listening and covertly Uh-huh, oh yeah. So, since this is a ransom rambling, well, did you finish our our year wrap?

Speaker 1:

Yes, that was it. Oh, okay, so that's cool.

Speaker 2:

All right. Well, I was gonna say, should I actually read you something?

Speaker 1:

Yes, our horoscope, oh yes, as some of you know, on, on, on, okay, asia, and on the New Year's party, my top 40. I actually didn't mention, you know, our podcasts, in that we, uh, besides music, we talk also about astrology, and I can't wait to read and talk about what we're going to have in store for 2024. But so Sarah has something.

Speaker 2:

Go ahead Right. Well, this is our the first week of the New Year. This is what our horoscope says. On the first, hit the ground running on big picture goals that you had previously paused. Step into the spotlight to soar from the fourth. On, join forces with coworkers to pinpoint the best game plan towards a shared aspiration. So this is basically telling us things we've been putting on hold. We need to just get going on it and that if we work together which I mean we have been anyways, but if we really focus and work together, we can attain a goal and actually your, your rising and my rising, both have a go for it. At the end of the, they're like you had something you were working on, go for it. If you want to work on something, go for it. All of our stuff sort of aligning to say big things are coming this year. Oh yeah. So you were saying you had something planned, something. What before? I said, oh wait, let me read the astrology. Okay, Now I forgot.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, we wanted. I wanted to talk about Christmas, but that's okay.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, but no, I, I, yeah, that's better. Well, because it's well, because this is the new year, episode yes, I just figured the first week telling us to just grab the bull by the horns, and you know, it's also the year of the dragon.

Speaker 1:

Yes, which is a very powerful family, to Family number two. That's, that's their year. Oh, really, that's their, yeah, that's their zodiac sign it's a dragon, oh. And then they're all like oh my god.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

So think about what you want to do this year. This is a very important one, also numerology 2 plus 0 is 2 and then. So 2 plus 2 is 4, and 4 plus 2 is 8. Now, 8 also signifies infinity, if you knock it over so. So, if you have any Inspirations, aspirations, it dreams like this is the year that has like infinitive manifestation.

Speaker 1:

And dive into it. So, of course, the astrology that we just got, it's. That's what white says dream big. This is it, you know. Then, if you have a lot of things that you have in mind that you want to do, that this is the year that is going to happen.

Speaker 2:

That is rolling, that has the energy to to go for. So we're feeling good. We're feeling good.

Speaker 1:

So, anyways, should we talk about news? And then, well, yeah, you know what, let's talk about news, because I have something special. Probably gonna leave it towards the end because we're gonna gawk and like, have fun with it. Yes, we really, because yes and we're gonna leave it through the end, but remember, okay. So I'm gonna backtrack and talk about stones again, because recently guess who has a Extritor From stones.

Speaker 2:

Oh, who, what? Who's? Most likely I had it was Christmas. I was not on Twitter. Oh, are you for real? I'm for real, is it Jesse?

Speaker 1:

No, no, no, oh, I got yes, all right, let me tell you that boy when hey, it's still going. Oh, oh my god. It was like when Nina opened his, he was all like a boy with a new toy. He's like Tyga was the same thing. He's making these long posts like I'm like oh gee, this is like paragraph toes.

Speaker 2:

This is like a blog or something having so much fun.

Speaker 1:

He just posted a ramen picture. Well, my boy, it is so cute and adorable and, of course, all his senpai's are following him. He's like. So, yes, so Tyga has joined x Twitter. And then, for his first post on Christmas Eve, he asked are you ready to eat chicken? Which you know. It's very, you know very common in Japan to eat chicken on Christmas Eve, apparently.

Speaker 2:

I was right there. You know I was reading something about it, Specifically KFC. Yeah, because it's red and white which is because of the colors that's. That's just something I read. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it. Yeah that is why only KFC. That's what I read.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's because it was red and white.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, reminds you of Christmas.

Speaker 1:

Yes, there you go on the article. It says referring to Japan's custom of eating fried chicken for Christmas, and hour later he wrote oh, I need to introduce myself. I'm sorry, this is kyo moto. I started x. Let's make this a nice world. Oh, that's so cute. Yes, boy, now when you do next twitter, yes, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I wonder if the rest of them will start their own as well.

Speaker 1:

We'll see. You know, each of them have him he does a lot of acting as well, so maybe that's why yes, he could be following Nino's footsteps, but of course it's not like Nino when he has just the egg or whatever. No, no pictures, no, nothing. So I got those halfies picture up you know, and whatever, he's just looking nice and he's so cute. Of course, he's my favorite, one of my favorites from stones let's see what your favorite tonne act.

Speaker 2:

I will do you know, just say it, he's your favorite. Oh yeah, he's one of them.

Speaker 1:

But I love. In his voice he's amazing. And as a musical actor, oh, he is so perfect because of his voice, of course. Great acting he's such a shoe in for musicals.

Speaker 2:

Well, and he's such a cutie? Of course he's a cutie he is. He'll probably hate hearing that, but he should do a Peter Pan. Oh wow, yeah right, that would be awesome.

Speaker 1:

He's perfect for Peter Pan, yes Putting it out there.

Speaker 2:

We'll see, we'll see, we'll see a great someone else for me to follow, though, uh-huh.

Speaker 1:

Of course he has like what, how many, how many?

Speaker 2:

um, let's see oh god, I'm sure Outrageous at this point.

Speaker 1:

Oh, he only has on the circle only his picture. He doesn't have anything on the banner, like nino, oh, okay.

Speaker 1:

Okay but right now he has on twitter 529 232. Whoa, yes, and he is following 12 people and of course, nino gotta be under. Oh, he's following yoshke and yoshke is following him back. Of course. Mm-hmm, toma Ikuta, ikuta. Oh, nino's not here. He's not following nino. No, he's not interesting. Is it because Nino's no longer with the company, but Toma's no longer with the company, or Toma still with the company? Toma Ikura, he's still with the company. Okay, maybe he's just following people. No, because who is Kona Fael?

Speaker 1:

I don't know, Unless maybe he's an actor, buddy, why is he not following Nino? Okay, that's our questions, taiga how come you're not following Nino-san.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I don't know Did.

Speaker 1:

Nino, prank him on one of the set one time and he's mad at him.

Speaker 2:

That could be. Well, I was going to say actually, speaking of Nino-san, did you see the pictures of him and Yam Yam?

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, oh my god, they look so cute. Yeah, they're little ski outfits.

Speaker 2:

Yam Yam like looks perfect. No matter what you know, he just looks adorable. He's been out on the slopes and he's like picture perfect.

Speaker 1:

I saw that you like his Instagram picture of that big wreath on the back and he's with the Celine bag. Yes, and did you saw the sole on those shoes? I'm like what are those like platforms?

Speaker 2:

Hey, I buy stacked shoes too. Oh my god, it was actually. That reminds me. Just a quick side note they asked me how tall I was. I had to go for an appointment and I forgot that they asked you your height because of what they have to do. Okay, so I was like, oh well, I'm 5'4", but I was wearing my three inch dock martens so I had to. Actually, they set the machine and I was too tall for I had to crouch down. I was like I'm sorry, I should have said with the shoes today I'm 5'6", but you know, oh my god, 5'7". Whatever, it was pretty funny. The lady was like oh, why do you have to crouch down? I'm like it's the shoes, it's the shoes. So I understand, Yam Yam, we like to give ourselves a boost.

Speaker 1:

In those pictures he's looking all cute and angelic and whatever. And yeah, that's Yam Yam. Then that's there's no Yamada for me. But you don't care, you love him anyway, no matter what how he looks. It's true, even with the messy hair.

Speaker 2:

there was one time he just like messy hair and I'm like, oh well he just did at least one, maybe two magazine covers and they had his hair all like disheveled, but it was still neat and he looked amazing and there's no way to make him look bad. No, I mean, you could just put anything on him any clothes, any hairstyle. Yeah, it's that face. Yeah, he's just got a perfectly beautiful face. He is so jealous I've been fascinated.

Speaker 1:

At the same time, I've been jealous Freaking Yam Yam, so beautiful. I'm like Fuma Doesn't matter what he does, he's still beautiful.

Speaker 2:

Running through the park. He looks beautiful. Well, that's what I mean. So they've been skiing and whatever, and he looks like he just walked off the lounge.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, sorry, that's OK, because I have not seen pictures of Nakamaru's ski suit and Fuma. You know he only has the sexy songs Instagram so he will not post those there. So our friend Paul posted which Yonino member snowboarding outfit was your favorite and I picked number four, which is a white background and has like pastel, and I'm looking at it has pastel, like writing or letters on different colors, which is funny because it has like the blue and like a yellow, I believe I see like a red or pink. So it has some some other members colors, I guess.

Speaker 2:

Oh, ok, yep, I am still not seeing. It, ok, so?

Speaker 1:

of course. So on her poll number. So number one is.

Speaker 2:

Oh wait, I got it. I got it. Number two is Yamada.

Speaker 1:

But I don't know who number three and number four are.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I think three is Fuma and four is Nakamaru, of course. Oh, is it? Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Look at the look at the stance of number three, that's totally Fuma. Oh, that is a Fuma, that's so Fuma, nakamaru.

Speaker 1:

Of course.

Speaker 2:

I love my Naka.

Speaker 1:

No, he's very good, you could always it is Nakamaru, because now I see Pusheen with a pizza oh my God, it's Nakamaru. And I'm like oh, I love number four, I like number four, I really like that. You know it's very. Oh my God, it's Nakamaru. I picked them. What I love them. So my Nakamaru is born in really nice and of course that's the one I voted for. He almost made it, but of course the one that won on that poll the one that was most like, was number two which is of course, mr Yam Yam, and I'm like that is just so simple.

Speaker 1:

I was torn between one and four because they were the most like, cool looking.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, they have character and yeah.

Speaker 1:

But then I was like I don't know, but if I was to wear it, I like number four the best. It is Nakamaru.

Speaker 2:

No, I did. I do like it, but I think if I were going to be skiing just because I'd most likely be falling down the mountain, I would want to be in number one because people could find me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, which maybe that's why Nino did that. He's because this probably sucks snowboarding or doing anything like that.

Speaker 2:

Actually, no, I'm sure he's actually very good. He's like he's such a good oh my God, mimic, you know he sees something, he can do it. So someone shows him you know two minutes of snowboarding and he's like I got this and off he goes. No lie, when they were juniors they had some sort of tumbling competition thing. So this professional guy was like here's this, boom, boom, boom, do two flips, do a cartwheel and a backflip. Nino, first try, did the whole thing, tchidum, tumbling pass, just the way it was supposed to be Nice. So, yeah, no, he can. He picks up quick. But I have a feeling. Well, you know, nakamaru is probably really good, but he seems, of all of them, the most likely to not be yeah.

Speaker 2:

Because he's so cute, but he's sort of a bumbler, you know, like when they went to that swimming hole, like trying to go down the natural rocks, Like he was like no, no, no.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know, that's something that was just like whoop, I know right, I would have done the same too, because I have a fear of heights. Yeah, so, nakamaru, I feel you, I know, I know, I just connect very, I connect so much with Nakamaru, I know right, I should say maybe it's because he's cautious, he's cautious.

Speaker 2:

So I could see him being most cautious with the snowboarding.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like everybody else is going to like go straight down the hill. Yeah, for my one care. He's going to be like I'm going to pack and forth and back. Yeah, take it slow.

Speaker 1:

And I'm with you, nakamaru, and I picked it. I'm just like I really like number four, without knowing. But now I mean hello, how can I miss it? The Pusheen has a pizza. That's Nakamaru.

Speaker 2:

And he loves his pizza. Yes, indeed, indeed, every other picture is pizza. Yeah, it's a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese.

Speaker 1:

I'm like where you get that, I want some. Come on Nakamaru. Well, you know what? I don't think I will do any skiing. I will do wear that outfit, just to lounge around.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, hang out in the ski lodge. Oh yeah, drinking your cocoa.

Speaker 1:

Exactly Looking nice, definitely, so, yes. So number two on her poll was not, you know the most. I'm like yeah, we all know, because that's yam yam.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was going to say I think people just knew who it was, so that's how they voted. Oh, that's weird. What happened? People didn't like Nino's. His was the lowest. Oh, wait a minute. And I'm like wait a minute.

Speaker 1:

That's the one. Oh my God, that's true. Oh Nino, okay, maybe because of the colors, I guess.

Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know, I like the colors, they're kind of fun. Yeah, they're cool. It's like neon green and orange black. It is cool, maybe because it's camouflage, I don't know, but I don't mind camouflage. I had a pink camouflage t-shirt. I don't know where I would be camouflaged, but yeah, with pink. But you know, cotton candy factory maybe. Yeah, maybe.

Speaker 1:

Or in a field of tulips, or a bunch of Sakura petals on top of you, I don't know. Yeah, right Up in a Sakura tree, I don't know. Yeah, at least his flower is something pretty. Oh, too funny.

Speaker 2:

So all right, so sorry. Yeah, we definitely got sidetracked with that. Oh, that's okay, it's a laser rambling.

Speaker 1:

What are you sorry about? Everybody should know.

Speaker 2:

Well, you seemed like you were on a path and then I just Okay, now I forget about it, because we're talking about it.

Speaker 1:

I forget about it because we're talking about our boys, or some of our boys. Oh, speaking of our boys or some of our boys, sexysones have finished their tour for chapter two, so that means 2024. Change of name Could be it better be it better be. There was an actual comment that one of the boys made Now I forgot who it was because somebody translated it in that it sounded that it's just like the end of sexy soon the name.

Speaker 2:

Well, they never liked it to begin with, so yeah. After 10 years, right, 12 years, 12 years, yeah, 12 years performing with that name they're done.

Speaker 1:

I'll be too. I'll be like, yes, we're done. You know, no more, no more, and I can't wait. I have been vocalizing it since they made that talk about the whole change of the company and whatnot and how they have lost contracts for overseas acts, performances, because of the name. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Definitely more of a hindrance than a help having that name.

Speaker 1:

So congratulations to my children for a very successful tour. I can't wait to find out what is the new name for next year. Well, this year. Well, yes, Now in 2024 this year.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait. Also, congratulations, we had to give congratulations to Naniwa Danshi 100 million views on their first solo on their debut song. Awesome, we will love Awesome. Yes, naniwa, congratulations. So yeah, the boys are gaining momentum. And also congratulations to SexySounds, because I think they hit 10 million views on one of their videos. But you know, they are ranking in the views on YouTube, you know, and that means that people just can't wait to actually hear more for these groups, you know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, definitely. Well, that's currently really their only way of getting recognition outside of where they are right now. So, hopefully it keeps going. People pick up on it.

Speaker 1:

And now that a torn dome tour has finished I can never say that correctly together A new one is going to happen in March. Oh, wow, oh. March is going to be big for tours girl, and we are there.

Speaker 2:

That's like our birthday month. I know, I was just going to say that's our month. We need to be there. I know Maybe something big, you know. So we'll just keep believing in our horoscope. Right, we're going to put it yes putting it out there, big things.

Speaker 1:

So I'm going to read this article to you. In a significant milestone for ToBe, the entertainment agency led by Takisawa, all affiliated artists are set to come together for their inaugural concert. Two Heroes First, Super Live, Wow yeah, and there's hardly any music out there, Okay. So the event will take place at Tokyo Dome over four consecutive days, from March 14 to March 17. Participating artists include Miyake Ken, Kitayama Hiromitsu, number one which you know. That group is, you know, Kishi Jin, and so I am P, and I never heard of this boy, Ohigashi Ryusuke. That too, it gets me. Is he? Was he a junior with the older company, Right? So we have, I have no knowledge of this boy, Hmm. So now he's over there, Now he's with Takisawa, Okay. So the concert will consist of one show each day for the four day duration, ensuring all artists are featured in every performance.

Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. So they're going to, instead of like festivals where it's a different band every day, they're going to have all the artists perform each day. Mm-hmm. Oh, that's cool. That's a good idea actually. Mm-hmm. You know, Because other companies try to get as much money out of you by having your artists scattered across days, so you have to buy multiple tickets, Right? This is like boom you get everything for your money.

Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Okay, so we have Miyake. Ken has that. I know of one song, the same thing with Kitayama.

Speaker 2:

I thought I thought Miyake Ken had a couple out Did he have a couple under 2B.

Speaker 1:

All I knew was one song, the same thing with Kitayama. I don't know anything about number one, and IMP already have their album and the new guy. I have no knowledge. I'm putting this out there. Taki, please invite us so we can experience this amazingness that's going to happen, yes, definitely.

Speaker 1:

And then we can actually record a podcast in Japan and you know, maybe you know record it and stream it. I don't know ideas that we can put out there. We'll need some backing. We won't mind signing a contract with 2B. I'll listen to you, of course. I'm putting it out there.

Speaker 2:

You know, just a one time contract to start, Just to do the show.

Speaker 1:

We don't want all our stuff to belong to him Of course no, yeah, just for that, just to cover that, just yeah, you know we'll have all set that up All access packs to all the shows. You know we're talking about recording whatever. We're not asking to talk with the talent.

Speaker 2:

Although that would be a nice little bonus. It could be. Yes, it could be nice, you know Baby steps yeah, but we could do our concert experience episode on it yeah, because everybody knows we love doing that.

Speaker 1:

We love talking about our live shows, oh yeah, and we love to talk about our fans that we see Miss behaving, oh yeah. Oh, you watch out. Anyway, you got to excited. So you know I keep being like what You're, the little lady. No, come on man, look at me. Come on man, let's talk it over drinks Go buy the sake you just know girl, he's too expensive. I had to save up like how many, how many, how?

Speaker 2:

many, I can't have beer.

Speaker 1:

No, but we cannot give him cheap sake when he wants to pay. Okay, so we'll pay for our plane tickets to go over there to start downgrading things. We'll pay for a plane ticket over there. I don't know where to stay, maybe a capsule hotel. Oh my God, eating out of comedies.

Speaker 2:

You know, yeah, you got to do what you got to do, right, exactly.

Speaker 1:

Anyways, I know I already have this trip, but hey, if I can visualize it, it will happen.

Speaker 2:

Exactly Okay, manifesting. I'm telling you Manifesting.

Speaker 1:

You know we are comedians. You know kind of we don't do stand up, but we're kind of comedians.

Speaker 2:

Well, we make each other laugh, that's for sure, right?

Speaker 1:

So you know, our actual fans, followers do like your life, you know, and some of them are like we wish you, we want you to go. We wish you the best.

Speaker 1:

You know they want the best for us and you know, and you know our fans want us to see us over there. It's just you know. Our fans cannot really afford it because they're paying money to your artists. The boys are always number one. Anyways, me bickering, so any other news that you might have come by, or anything like that, today's been more about Japanese artists.

Speaker 2:

Yes, so that's. I would say that's about all right where we're at. So then we wanted to do something else.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, so now we have a big ending. I mean, I'm calling it a big ending for this episode For dear, dear, dear, dear, thank you Earth, yes, which they have been supporters and they are so sweet and always send us a Care package either for our birthdays or Christmas, and this one is for Christmas.

We're gonna wait To read this letter. I love the letters because the letters are two pages and they give us details of what's going on with the voice of Orbit. Just to let you know, earth is the fandom for orbit.

Speaker 1:

Which, yay, they finally together girl. I know right finally all the members are together. This group composed of Japanese members and South Korean as well, so the ones then in. Of course, when you you know South Korean male, you have to go to the military, and the boys have actually Finally finished their military.

Speaker 2:

Everybody's done. Yes, they're all together now.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 1:

Just like with it, with Enchanted. I love that album. Enchanted has been one of my favorites. It had the virtual paradise.

Speaker 2:

Yes, everything was just. It worked so well the whole album together and I couldn't. When we were listening to it, I was like I love this song. Oh wait, I love this. No, this is my favorite. Nope, this is my favorite. And when we were watching the video and we were like talking about the color involved and I mean everything about it. Yeah, so this is exciting. Can't wait for new music.
