Speaker 1:

Hello, this is Tannick.

Speaker 2:

And this is Sarah and you are listening to Music Elixir a podcast between two friends discussing their favorite Asian artists in music. I did Welcome everybody to another episode of Music Elixir. I'm Sarah and with me, is you forgot? No?

Speaker 1:

I wanted to change my title Pices villain. Please panic, I'm like did you forget who you are no places, villain.

Speaker 2:

Well, we both hold that title, so, oh my goodness, somebody too.

Speaker 1:

But anyways, today we're in the Ransom Ramblings.

Speaker 2:

Yes, because we haven't had time to prep music.

Speaker 1:

I was talking to Sarah at work has has been chaotic for me. I being I have more responsibilities. I was mentioning her that I have that have birth, a project that is not my baby and which is good in the organization I feel wanted and that my ideas are heard and they like my ideas and valid. Yeah, that's really cool. No, I feel you know a part of the team Now. Like my old job, she was different. Yeah, Anyways so our dedicated singles is going to be, instead of five, three.

Speaker 2:

Well, it's a little more reasonable to because we can focus really intensely on them and give it, you know, a thorough going through. Yeah, it's just because my is my attention span and in my time, Well, that was my problem too is I'm like, I'm at work and you know you can try and focus on it, but you have to work, you know I think, with the exception of like album, dedicated episodes, because I mean it's just one group, which is good.

Speaker 1:

We won't be a deep dive in like five different groups, right? Or five different, you know, five different artists, that will be just like that group or person, exactly.

Speaker 2:

We can manage, we can manage.

Speaker 1:

So this geez, this January has been chaotic for Japan, oh gosh, yeah, Not just. You know, they had the earthquake, then they had the fires, Also the the airplane crash.

Speaker 2:

Yep. Oh my goodness. Yeah, it's been pretty rough on them.

Speaker 1:

Rough beginning to the year for for the whole nation, and then for the fandoms as well, because a lot of things are changing and a lot of fandoms. Well, let's start with that one. Because of that morning I woke up with like, oh, it's David Bowie's birthday. Yay, january 8 is David Bowie's birthday. He, he would still have been around. It would have been he 77th birthday, so it was huge. So you know, I'm like if you follow music elixir on X Twitter, I have posted three David Bowie songs because you know I wanted to, you know, celebrate his his life Three of my favorite songs.

Speaker 1:

I don't love everything, but I just I felt like appropriate for me to play those. Of course, sarah's a big fan as well.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and remember I told you it was also Elvis. Yes, also Elvis's birthday, and he'd have been what? 89, I think. Oh, geez, 89. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we love our careers. Speaking of crewers, I gotta tell you something and I have not searched it yet because I wanted, I wanted to tell you, okay, okay.

Speaker 2:

All right, so okay, let's continue to this and then we'll show you yours real quick. You know the ad mine.

Speaker 1:

you know it jumps like that, so anyways. So, but before January 8, something nice did happen or was mentioned. All right, so on January 6, the label Top J records is now called over the top. That was announced under the Sexy Zones X Twitter, because, of course, sexy Zones is under Top J, but now it's now on top, so now that's going to be their name of the new label they're going to be under.

Speaker 1:

So, on David Bowie's birthday, breaking news breaking news from Sexy Zones we hear and my candy is going to go solo, but the group is going to be changing names and continue with Fuma Shorty, and so that will be happening on March 31st, with a new name as well. The group is going to have a new name. Finally, the new name. Yeah, it's just not going to continue with candy Now. But what also happened? Fuma Shorty and so have opened their new Instagram accounts and when Fuma was so chaotic with him, he went ham on that. He, he was interacting with his stomp eyes, his coal eyes, everybody. I think he was worse than Weta. I thought Weta was bad. Fuma is beyond shenanigans.

Speaker 2:

You know freedom. Hey, I can do what I want.

Speaker 1:

Speaking of Pisces, villain he is holding the title.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly Exactly. Well, you know what? And I found interesting and I can't remember if I said something to you in our exchange about Ken T leaving, but I was like he turned 30. Remember I said once they turned 30, they're sort of this Rishi Ono was like the exception, that he worked until he was 40 and that they remained, you know, in the limelight, basically because usually 30 is sort of that magic number. It was what, when we were talking about the rankings for, yeah, the adult from BV adult category.

Speaker 2:

What the hell is? They're all 30. They're all 30.

Speaker 1:

The adult category. That was so suspicious. I'm like that's what sauce, why did go in this category? Please listen to that episode. We have fun, we have so much and a lot of fans would actually know it's for this is because they did turn 30. No, like Sarah, did you know God does like yeah it, just they have one. Yeah, because we even found out they're our, our short, I'm not sure. Um, well, now it was 30 already, right, we didn't know. We're like 30.

Speaker 2:

20. Well, and then I'm like I thought I thought Daisuke was the oldest, and then I'm like oh wait, he's actually I missed a whole year somehow, because I'm like, oh wait, he's not 30 anymore either.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, oh wait, but speaking of them.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, did you check out their love trigger dance practice? They have a video up for their song, love trigger, and they did a dance and I know you love dance practices I do.

Speaker 1:

But I was looking at another group's dance practice.

Speaker 2:

Oh girl, no, I yeah.

Speaker 1:

I I'll have to watch them.

Speaker 2:

You're gonna like it. You're gonna like it.

Speaker 1:

Of course it's a one motor. It was one motor's choreography. Yes, you know, his choreography is like whoa.

Speaker 2:

Well, it's also. It's not just that, it's the look of it. You're gonna like the look of it.

Speaker 1:

Really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's, it's different. It's different from most of their other dance practices.

Speaker 1:

We'll watch it. We'll watch it after I talk and we'll come back and I'll be like. I am so can these gonna be turning 30 this year?

Speaker 2:

Yes On March, like yeah in March March 13.

Speaker 1:

They after my birthday, which is March 12. My birthday. How about yours, sarah, march 3rd? You go. The other vice is villain?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's villain. I got that three, three going on. So wasn't there a song about? Three is a magic number? Do you remember? Oh my God, so old, what is that from? I don't know? Schoolhouse rocks, I think.

Speaker 1:

What's it.

Speaker 2:

Do you remember those?

Speaker 1:

No, yeah, I remember those, but I don't remember the three's, the magic number.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that that is what that's from. Three is a magic number.

Speaker 1:

I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Okay, Because they did the whole. You know, they did from zero to nine, did a whole thing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, sam, I'll have to remember.

Speaker 2:

See again that the whole gear shifting thing here we're out of control. Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

So anyways, so that's what's going on with Sexy Zone, which is no longer going to be Sexy Zone.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I'm interested to see what's going to happen because I find that now that they've had to do all these name changes for the company, for the various groups, for various record label things, how the music's going to change. You know what I mean. Like, we've always loved the music from out of there, but there's definitely always been sort of a formula and you know, there's a couple of anomalies. Here and there they get to do something a little different. But it'll be very interesting because we've already seen some shifts in the type of music that, like, say hey, say jump has been doing. Oh yeah, you know what I mean. So it's been a change, yeah, so I'm very easy jump.

Speaker 1:

Then I'm like wow.

Speaker 2:

I'm excited for what's going to come from formerly known as Sexy Zone, which you can tell on their newest.

Speaker 1:

You know EP it's changing. Yes, I have seen the change. You know very softly.

Speaker 2:

You know because the one slowly, subtly. Well, you don't want to shock the fans.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. But I have been like, yeah, I've been vibing the ones that they're not really like have videos for, it's like so good, you know. And but also Kenty has kind of been hinting that he's probably going to go solo, I mean with some projects that he's been doing on the side. So I'm like I don't know. This boy looks like he just wants, I want to break free, type of thing, you know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So he's like sneaking out, like doing stuff on his own, which is great.

Speaker 2:

Well, he's been doing a lot more acting, but yeah, I think maybe he wants to do some solo music as well.

Speaker 1:

Well, he recorded one that's going to come out, supposedly.

Speaker 2:

Is that for the drama? Yes, yeah, see, puzzle. I'm thinking like most likely he'll continue to sing for the dramas he's in, but also doing sort of just a whole solo of like how Kenty feels.

Speaker 1:

You know I mean like, this is what I want to do. You know, he's the one that speaks the most English and he's been in California a lot for like roles and whatnot, which I'm like. Yes, massachusetts boy, forget the West Coast, I'm over here, so we'll see. I mean, I'm still. I'm following all my boys, even Mario's, yo, on Instagram.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Taking pictures going out to like Brooklyn yeah, I was like what.

Speaker 1:

I saw that and I'm like why are you wearing New York? You heard just close to me what I'm like Massachusetts, hello.

Speaker 2:

So close, yet so far Right.

Speaker 1:

Forget that city, go to Boston. It smells better. Sometimes it does smell better, it does.

Speaker 2:

Anyways.

Speaker 1:

Moving on Good grief, I think it's because I can't afford New York anymore, and so I'm talking yeah really Right?

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, so expensive, definitely is. So what else did you want to?

Speaker 1:

Well, we have oh, we briefly talked about G Dragon coming.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right.

Speaker 1:

As then, hints of a Vegas show.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's in works with. I'm not sure how they're connected, but it said Madison Square Garden and the sphere in Las Vegas. That he's working. So I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I guess somehow Madison Square Gardens connected to the sphere I you know, I don't look into those technical things, but probably a whole production company or something like that.

Speaker 2:

Anyways, but the sphere is. I drove by it several times while I was out in Las Vegas. That thing is impressive and it's insane Easy Because it's all LED lights around it. So I have seen pictures and I'm like is that thing for real, like that? That is so freaky. So when you're inside you're in a globe, and I guess you too has been basically doing almost a residency there, I've heard yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I've seen some of the inside stuff from that. It's like like going to a planetarium. You know you've got the whole dome and they just have pictures and light show and only this is like millions of LED lights doing a light show inside. So it's served like this whole interactive experience.

Speaker 1:

I, looking at some of it, I was like I think I might get nauseous at a show I was going to say, if it's going to be like that, you know, like I'm sure some people cannot really handle it right, right, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I would say that it might, or at least it would take some some time to get used to, because you know anything, you do 360, whatever. You get that sort of off balance feeling and you're like whoa, what's going on.

Speaker 2:

Right, but it looks it looks really impressive and I was thinking that, now that they've talked about he went to that tech show. I wonder if some of the engineers and people who do all of the lighting for the sphere and the programming, like if he was in talks with people about what his vision is. Yeah, he's planning a solo comeback. That's wow.

Speaker 1:

I think a while ago. I remember somebody made or wrote a article about this sphere and like the pros and cons to it, especially for some people you know and and like I'm not, I won't be able to find it, but you know there were some people like, like you said, if you get easily motion sickness, that's not a thing. You may not enjoy it. If you have Frito Heights, it's another problem. Yep.

Speaker 2:

And I'm like oh great. Well plus, with just all the lights in the flashing.

Speaker 1:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

Anyone with you know who gets, I guess, epileptic seizures. So the strobe effect and stuff from it could probably be pretty hazardous. So, like I said, it's sort of weird because I've seen some of that inside stuff and I'm like it looks really cool. I think I'd Kind of gel by. I don't think I could stand up and enjoy the show I'd have to stay in my seat, so that you know, close my eyes and right for a minute, I mean. It's. Yeah, it looks totally insane.

Speaker 1:

But I mean it. I mean it looks insane if, yeah, from the outside, if it is the same thing inside is Wow, so yeah, so that will be cool if you know, if the rumor has it that he is in the talks of doing Something like that, my god GD.

Speaker 2:

No right, he's like.

Speaker 1:

His own style is cray-cray, so colorful and different tones and, and you know, in textures and whatnot you know, oh, he already pops by himself.

Speaker 2:

Yes, definitely.

Speaker 1:

So, it.

Speaker 2:

wow, it could be a an interesting combination, I think yeah, that'll be awesome.

Speaker 1:

That would be awesome. Any other news? I have another one, but I want to talk about later.

Speaker 2:

The People's Choice Awards JK swept. Yeah he's in the military and he's still dominating. So he got male artist of the year, pop artist of the year, nice song collaboration of the year and new artist of the year. So, wow, wow, that's like.

Speaker 1:

That's insane, like really boy, of course so why not? Congratulations to him. Army has been on top of that. No matter what you're like, dude, there might be a home on military service, but we still put you know our boys yes, number one, number one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, they still know one, yeah, and quickly. I don't know where it was, but somewhere V got the world's most handsome man. So that's you know, if they're going by those military pictures.

Speaker 1:

Oh, and G like yes.

Speaker 2:

No matter, no matter what he's, because he just, um well, obviously previously shot covers for Harper's Bazaar in Korea. Mm-hmm, he has got like short bluish hair. He's got short blonde hair. He's got this long dark wig that's sort of purple, I mean, you know he's. So he's gracing the covers of Harper's Bazaar Korea. Mm-hmm, valentino just released a whole little behind the scene thing with sugar Modeling some of their clothes, you know so, despite them all being in the military, like everybody's held on to things Because, oh yeah, these, these brands are like no, we need to keep keep these boys active with us.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah they're powerhouse, what do you think?

Speaker 1:

so sell Jim and D, or you know I when he thinks to sell, wasn't what these boys nothing sell. Oh, that's true, you know, like when cookie was like, oh, I love this fabric softener Sold out everywhere around the world. Everybody needed to have that fabric softer yeah because cookie loves it.

Speaker 2:

Well, everything that somebody was saying, like one of the last things he did, he had this blue laundry basket, the laundry basket.

Speaker 1:

I think the same thing with Jim and Jim and was having this banana milk from Time that was JK to also JK. Yeah, oh my god. See, you'll just just give him something, and if he likes it, people will buy it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, have a picture of him holding it and it'll sell out.

Speaker 1:

I'm telling you that's the boy Please has to do. I like this.

Speaker 2:

Geez.

Speaker 1:

And Want to say thank you to Arashi. Yes, they made a huge donation 67.5 million yen, for the earthquake Relief relief.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, that was awesome. I was like Arashi, the biggest hearts in the world.

Speaker 1:

Let me tell you, when I saw my, my notification is that Arashi, I jump. I'm like are they back? Oh, that is so sweet. I started crying. They had it in in Japanese and in English, yeah.

Speaker 2:

June and I loved the way they said that we all got together. Yeah, so they had all their names list. I was like, oh no, still in there. Yay, I'm happy.

Speaker 1:

There. So that was really sweet and, oh my god, I'm like yeah, this is Arashi. They are so caring and loving.

Speaker 2:

I'm oh my god, I feel like there are so many things they have done, yeah, similar to that. They I think they did the same thing back in the 2011 tsunami and they've they've always just been very much out there and you know, donating money to school projects and stuff. You know things that you don't even always hear about, so that's just awesome, awesome. That's why we love them.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that was so sweet, but yeah, no girl. When I saw that notification, no me too.

Speaker 2:

I was like what? Because they only use the Arashi you know handle for things involving all of them.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean other than like birthdays, you know, but that's what their birthdays different, right, but that was just like oh so I know breaking news cuz I was like this is the 25th anniversary.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I Guess not.

Speaker 1:

Leena ain't ready yet Saying his name oh no, satoshi, oh no.

Speaker 2:

Satoshi. Well, I told you and I posted it to everybody. The first thing that my DJ Played for me you know Spotify DJ yeah, yesterday was Arashi and my favorite I can't say the Japanese name, but it's the clockwork umbrella yeah, the B side to my girl. I was like, oh hey, this is gonna be a good day, oh no oh no, oh no.

Speaker 1:

So the oh one thing that we didn't mention. Well, coming ash announced that he has a girlfriend. Yes, I forgot her name because I'm like no, even I'm scared of his eyebrows.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I saw that.

Speaker 1:

I forgot her name, but anyways, everybody knows that. And then you say I think hyphens are like whatever. I think they felt more that Kaminoch is announced. You know a dating somebody? I was thinking maybe Nakamaru would have been the first.

Speaker 2:

Well, he might be dating and he's just not ready to make it public.

Speaker 1:

I hope you know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's dating Fuma they do have a sweet little love story.

Speaker 1:

Yes, they do their instagram interaction with. When Nakamaru said will you like to have an IG live with me? I'm like what?

Speaker 2:

oh my god, that's so sweet that'll be awesome well, I, I wouldn't be surprised if we just start seeing loads and loads more of them being like yeah, we're dating, I'm dating, I'm dating, I'm dating. You know, I've been married for three years with four kids, but you know what I mean. I think that that's another thing, that's sort of changing yeah, and sort of gently being brought forward to everybody. You know, yeah, I'm gonna, don't start dating, please did you saw his IG with?

Speaker 2:

his niece, yes, oh my god, she's, adorable the faces he was making, I'm like, oh my god, he loves her to death.

Speaker 1:

Yes, it's like he's just like he's like what do you want, my baby?

Speaker 2:

I'll give you anything yeah, he definitely doting uncle, oh my goodness, and the girl, she's so cute the way she laughs on uncle yami very sweet, yes, very sweet, I know.

Speaker 1:

I know she. I know she was. She was cheating at the rock paper scissors but he didn't care, he's just like well, really you're gonna argue with.

Speaker 2:

She looks like what? Maybe six, six years old, yeah, maybe, yeah like you know who's gonna argue with little kid?

Speaker 1:

no basically, you know, you know you uncle yami am. You know you're your baby and you can tell oh my god, he loves her yes, definitely loves her dotes doting uncle uncle, cute, cute, cute. Also uh on, uh, yonino, yeah, yonino, yonino, yes, yonino. Things have changed. Now they uh have actually covered the the wall.

Speaker 2:

A new picture.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, they're like I'm always working they all covered it mm-hmm, so that that's so bad episode. Yam, yam, step on paint. He was tracking out a little over the floor and then nino was was teasing with uh fuma, like he was gonna paint his shirt and he's like, hey, hey the white troublemaker troublemaker.

Speaker 2:

So you know he's probably the reason yam yam stepped in the paint. Yeah who?

Speaker 1:

knows what happened chasing him around.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because you know yami am would have been like stay away from my clothes, oh yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, I did see that I need to keep up on the yoninos because they're some different. There was one that they went for coffee and they left me out in fuma. They can nino closer during goals. Go, yam, go, necomarrow, go, go, go.

Speaker 2:

And he's like, ah, holding coffee like well, and actually we were talking about jk selling stuff out. Did you see the one where um fuma was saying his mom wanted to get the hand cream? Yes, yam yam uses, yeah, but she couldn't because it was expensive. So yam yam's got the same, same uh power, I guess. Yeah, she couldn't get it. She couldn't get it and nino's like sorry, mom, kick it. Nino, did he say that?

Speaker 1:

such a pain in the butt yeah, sorry can't get it that nino doesn't care, even to your mom he doesn't care. It's such a brat, oh my god.

Speaker 2:

Well, maybe fuma can pull some strings, you know, come on, I know the guy.

Speaker 1:

Maybe now that fuma sell that right maybe. So maybe the company would be like, hey, you're some, we're gonna get it to your.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, for your mom promotion.

Speaker 1:

That'll be awesome but it was.

Speaker 2:

It was so cute in the way yam yam's laughing. Well, you know, you gotta think about it, right, these moms? Sure, my son's an idol, but like they still have you look at other idols that you're like, oh, he's so cute, you know, and like I want to have the products he's promoting exactly, so it's so funny because you know my son works with him and he's all you're adorable and I want his stuff and all you have to do is like get ready with me, yam, yam.

Speaker 1:

And then people are like what's he wearing? What's he using? What's he doing? I'm gonna use it when I'm gonna buy it. You know that that time that he did that, I love the whole oh, I have bed head.

Speaker 2:

Oh, my god. Oh, actually, and he did. I think it was an on-on cover recently. Oh, did you see those pictures? No, hello. Does it have a lady by himself, it's just him, and he has they, they sort of scrunched up his hair, oh that's the one that he was missing.

Speaker 1:

Yes, looked good in a man he looked good.

Speaker 2:

I think that's what it was for. I can't remember. I was too mesmerized by the pictures. I was like wow, but it's most yummy, you know because, like most of the time, he's like he's attractive but cute, you know. And then every once in a while, like the photo shoot, hayse jumped in where he had the sunglasses and the cabana shirt open a little. I love that right, but with the scrunchy sort of messy hair he just whoa dangerous. Okay, I have to see you because I'm always be like yam.

Speaker 2:

Yam is too pretty in the way they photographed it. Like half his face is sort of almost in shadow, okay, so it's sort of mysterious and sexy oh yeah okay.

Speaker 1:

Oh. So family have redecorated their room and in the mix of redecorating, they found some old magazines oh, really, from 2011 and 2015. Oh, wow, I have to show you these because you're gonna be like, oh my god, rich magazines, uh, module. And then, while they were taking some posters off, in the back they were my children. I'm like you were covering my kids. It's like, well, this group here that I love.

Speaker 2:

Give me those. That's the worst when they put two of your favorites on the same poster and you're like what do I do?

Speaker 1:

Well, family was not family, you know.

Speaker 2:

Following sexies right at the time.

Speaker 1:

There were. I think it was kiss my foot, oh. I'll try to do it? Yeah, I'll try to do it. Oh, whatever, I'll get up and show you the mania scene since the centerfold. I was like, yeah, I was like, oh my God, there's a baby snowman in baby stones. Well before we discovered all these groups.

Speaker 2:

I can't even imagine how many times because I was on my Arashi search that I miss. I told you I'd see names.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'd see ABCZ. I'd see kiss my foot, yeah, but I was like Arashi focused. So I'm like, wow, I must have missed the beginning of so many. Oh, I do remember Sexy Zone, because you can't forget that name, and when you see a bunch of young boys I was like I don't even want to go there, exactly.

Speaker 1:

It's yeah, my poor boy 12 years, 12 years, ok, but hey, I can't wait. So, anyways, yes, should we talk about this bigger, bigger news? Yeah, we can. That had divided like netizens and fandoms for this. So on January 11th I'm reading this from Oregon News there was an announcement of marriage. Yes, so Suoshi Tomoto of Kinky Kids and Kanako Momota of Momoto Clover Z have announced that they're married. They did Congratulations to them. That's, that's great. But this has divided netizens and fans because they have a what 15, 14 year age difference.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh, I was like trying to remember.

Speaker 1:

Everybody was like what I'm like OK, so there's. A lot of people were having a cow for that, Not because they got, of course. They think then if they were to say same age or just a couple of years difference, yeah, nobody will have a cow. There will be like, oh my God, you married, but the age gap is.

Speaker 2:

This is what really drew a lot of fans crazy, which is weird though I mean I guess it depends how long were they dating, but still, at this point, at 29, she is a grown woman, yeah, knows, knows her mind, knows what she's wants and where she wants to be headed in life. So you know, we can't predict who we're going to fall in love with and what the age difference is so Exactly.

Speaker 1:

Hey, exactly so. If she's 29, let's say they started dating five years ago. She's still in her 20s, mid 20s.

Speaker 2:

You know, and again thinking of her path and where she wants to be going so Exactly you know, if they started dating 15 years ago, then we might have an issue here.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, yeah, that's that. I saw some comments for for for the moto that were. I was just like what people really that's not right. You know they were calling him everything under the sun.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't. I'm glad I didn't see them at the time, because I'd been like what? Because I?

Speaker 1:

saw one that I was like you know what I'm going to report you. That's just wrong. You know you should keep that to yourself. Now put it out publicly. That's just wrong. You're not to tell you. Tell this person that just because of the age difference, Right, yeah, you know she is grown up.

Speaker 2:

It's not like some of a. We have some rock stars over here who were like 80 marrying an 18 year old. Hello, oh talk about age difference, you know, and if she's 18 when they're getting married, that's a problem that is a problem. And just generally, people don't get too upset about the age gap between a man being older and a woman, because, I mean, I've seen people freak out when a 32 year old female was dating a 29 year old male artist and they're like she's older than him, I'm like and what.

Speaker 1:

Three years what.

Speaker 2:

What you know. Just there's no rule that the woman has to be younger than the man.

Speaker 1:

But guess what?

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you something.

Speaker 1:

I was listening. Now that you said that I was listening some, some DJs that I like to listen to here locally and the younger DJ, I don't know. Well, yeah, dj he was just like. I won't mind all dating an older lady. I don't want them cougars, I want the Puma's. I'm like what. What age gap is the Puma's? Now I know right, Wait, wait a minute, I thought there were only cougars.

Speaker 2:

Exactly what's this.

Speaker 1:

So this announcer, this is just DJ. He is in his, I want to say he's in early 40s. Okay, so according to him, a cougar is 15 years older than him, so a puma is beyond 15. Oh, wow. So I'm like will you want a mommy? You know? That's like Okay, interesting, yeah. So I'm like what will the puma do? Just like I just, you know, take care of you and that's it.

Speaker 2:

So he's looking for someone in there. 65 to 7, 65 and over.

Speaker 1:

I guess All right?

Speaker 2:

Hey, well, you know, apparently women keep the drive longer than men.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, even older women are still going to be receptive to Also he likes the ones that are menopausal, which their sex drive is higher than a yorker one. I'm like yo, no wonder you want the. So that's why he's like yeah, their sex drive is a lot better than a younger woman. And it's like whoa, okay, now I'm listening to this in the morning.

Speaker 2:

But that's what I mean by like women continue to have a sex drive, whereas men start to sort of dwindle off as they get older. So young men should actually be looking for older women, exactly Because older women tend also to be more like yeah, I don't care Exactly, they're not looking for the ring and the lifetime, whatever they're like. Yeah, you know, we can hang out, we can have fun, but we don't need to be married.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 2:

We don't need to live together.

Speaker 1:

Right, right, so he was looking for something like that.

Speaker 2:

Interesting, yeah, interesting.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, so you know he's been married, he's done. He just you know he wants to have fun. Oh, I see, you know.

Speaker 2:

Alrighty. But anyway so yes, but our original point, though, going back to is is you should just be happy for the couple. Yes, If they love each other and care about each other. That's what's important. You know what I mean? So yeah, but everybody also is entitled to their opinion. Just keep it, you know polite.

Speaker 1:

Don't be insulting. Yeah, don't be insulting. Why are you insulting this person?

Speaker 2:

Just because it's not something you would be comfortable with or something that you Exactly View for yourself, doesn't mean other people don't.

Speaker 1:

And what do you say? If you don't like something, don't even watch it, listen or whatever. Right, move on you know where to go.

Speaker 2:

We all view it differently, and that's okay. Mm-hmm, we're all allowed our opinions, and that's okay.

Speaker 1:

Exactly so. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and like Thumper said, if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all. Exactly, exactly, I think we've used that before too right? I think we have.

Speaker 1:

Plenty of times, every time something like this happens, because netizens have to be like, have their two cents, and usually their two cents is just is hate. Yeah, there's no need for that. Exactly, there is no need. There's too much hate out there is bringing out some positivity and it's congratulations to them and we wish them the best. And this is just a marriage that can also convert into divorce.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true. Hopefully not, but you know Exactly.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I just saw a few, another few divorces here from people and they're like I am married and then all of a sudden, oh, he divorced her. Oh, like you're free now.

Speaker 2:

I just saw an article recently with all of the like marriages that lasted, you know, five days. Oh really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Well, look at what happened to your. Your sort of opinion? But, but he was just because the fans were just overwhelming and he just did it because he did it because I don't love that, just for crazy, and I'm like no, it's anyway.

Speaker 2:

Most of these that I'm talking about are just people who suddenly realized they were we're not compatible. We thought we were in love because we dated for five days. We got married.

Speaker 1:

We were married for five days no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I gotta have a few years of test drive before considering any marriage.

Speaker 2:

I know right.

Speaker 2:

You know, like I said, but some of them it was like seven years. They got married and then two weeks later got a divorce. But like one of them, it was because the day before the wedding he had an affair like he, oh my God and then they got married and then she found out in two weeks later they got a divorce. I'm like so you were together for seven years? Were you cheating the whole time? Or did you just get caught because it was the day before your wedding and because so many people were around and somebody must have seen something and told her? I don't know, but anyway I was like, wow.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, that's crazy. So, for seven years he could I don't know keep it in his hand or like really hide it, yeah, and then after that just like wow.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So that's, crazy.

Speaker 2:

Well, and you like Athelmerman right. Yeah, we've talked about it, we love Athel. She was married once for a day what 24 hours, what I think it was Ernest Borgnein. She married and they were married for like 24 hours and then divorced Get out, yeah, it's awesome. She was like, yeah, I thought it was okay and then no, oh my God, and I like Ernest.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God. What happened? How did they get married? I don't know. How did they date it? That's crazy. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

That's what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Those two were born Like where they drunk in Vegas. Yeah, that's probably what happened. Somebody was, I don't know. Wow, this is something you do with your Vegas drunk ride.

Speaker 2:

That's good Mary.

Speaker 1:

Look it, oh my.

Speaker 2:

God. I love that story though.

Speaker 1:

That's great. Okay, that's funny. So, anyways, do you have any more news? No, I don't think so. Okay, so now I'll tell you my dream. Oh.

Speaker 2:

I didn't know you. You didn't even give me a warning that you had a dream that you needed to talk about.

Speaker 1:

Well, I want to leave it last, because I have no Asian artist related. I never had a dream that I had that it was so vivid. I actually had two very vivid dreams. Okay, Let me start with the first one. I was in my house in Puerto Rico. I was in one of the rooms and I was sitting down on my bed and on my lap I had a very thick book, but the cover is that holographic.

Speaker 2:

The rainbow shimmery.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, okay, the whole look. I was like, wow, this is a really nice book. It has some lettering on top which I couldn't make out what it was. But then on the corner of my eye, on my right eye, I was seeing something floating.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so I was like.

Speaker 1:

So I turned to my right and it was a fish. You know those fish that look like angel fish, but they're more tropical. So this one is purple, but with trans holographic purple. Was it in a tank? No, it was just floating.

Speaker 2:

Okay, that's what I told you. It was the fish, so it was just floating.

Speaker 1:

No, just floating and then it was blowing like bubbles, holographic bubbles, and I'm like, wow, interesting fish. And I'm like I'm in air. And then I hear on my left side somebody's saying Spanish Hello, I'm here, and I looked and it's my best friend, arley, and I wake that's weird.

Speaker 2:

Does Arley like purple? Is Arley a Pisces? Is that why the fish was here?

Speaker 1:

No, no, okay, arley's not a Pisces. But that same day in the afternoon she sends me a picture, a video picture, of Puerto Rico by the sea, oh wow. And she's like, look where I am. It's so cold in here. I'm like, ha ha, and, by the way, I dreamt about you. She's like what? That's crazy, yeah. And I'm like it's a permission that she is sending me a picture from, like you know, from the ocean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and ocean picture and it was like it was the back of the morro, which I have not been there, and it looks so different, it's so pretty, and I'm like, where are you? She's like I'm at the back of the morro and I'm like, wow, that's it, they changed it. He's like, oh yeah, it's really pretty. And I'm like, yeah, I'm not going to go there again. I love going over there. It's so pretty. So now they made it even prettier, so that was weird.

Speaker 2:

That is like I dreamt about her.

Speaker 1:

And then she that same. After that day, that the afternoon she sends me a picture of the ocean. That's crazy. So I told her my dream and she's like that is crazy. And what did she say Do you remember the letters? And I'm like, no, I don't remember the letters, but it's weird. So my dream of yesterday it's the more bizarre one, okay, more bizarre than a floating purple fish.

Speaker 2:

I know right, holographic purple fish.

Speaker 1:

Yes, really cool. I love that fish, I want that fish I want that fish.

Speaker 1:

I wonder if it's. You know, for real it's got to be a fish like that. Anyways, so I enter this grand wooden, like carved wooden doors, kind of like a castle type, like going into a studio. They're double doors. So I just I walk in, I open the double doors and it was. It's like a library. So the room is filled with books, from top to bottom filled with books. This is like it looked like a Harry Potter library. Okay, yeah, the old, you know rugs, very British looking, you know furniture and sturdy wooden furniture Okay.

Speaker 1:

Now place that you can just sit there and they're like have a cigar and you know, and like read it was like very manly you know, Okay, Sitting on a leather chair. It was David Letterman.

Speaker 2:

I haven't heard of David Letterman and David Letterman Okay.

Speaker 1:

Yes, David Letterman was here.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, Actually my husband was. My husband wasn't there. I'm just on the phone with David.

Speaker 1:

David Letterman gets up and holds if he's holding at half eaten cold cut grinder. The cold cut grinder is wrapped on deli paper which is white, and he says to me oh good that you're here this hoagie that I'm holding he called it a hoagie this hoagie that I'm holding is Bob Prashini's hoagie. I'm like, okay, but Prashini's hoagie? I was talking to him and then I forgot to ask him to sign the hoagie so I can put it on auction. So I'm like Okay. So he says, like, here, hold. He gives me the hoagie and he's like you need to take this hoagie into auction but you need to sign it before you go to the auction and forge his signature. And he hands me a gold pen.

Speaker 1:

Okay he hands me a gold pen so I supposed to be Sign on the deli paper Bob Prashini and I'm like I don't know his signature. And he's like, don't worry, it's Bob Prashini's hoagie, just just just put the name and then just go. I'm like, so he sends me on my way With I'm holding the hoagie on the left, my left hand, and then the pen on the right and I'm walking towards it was like a building, but it was like the. It was open with more wood. But this time it's like going towards wood and big, grand wooden Staircase again very Harry Potter, okay.

Speaker 1:

And from behind me I hear, and like an older gentleman going hey, hey. So I look back and this guy's like, are you holding Bob Prashini's hoagie? I'm like yeah, are you going to the auction now? And I'm like yeah. So he turned his back and he he goes hey, everybody, the auction is up here. A Bunch of old man that look Italian Started going up these stairs and I'm on the bottom of the stairs holding the hoagie and a pen, looking up at these people like oh my god. And I wake up. I said I told family the story and they're like it sounds like a fine-fell episode.

Speaker 2:

I'm like right, it totally does. It totally does, especially the like you got a sign.

Speaker 1:

It just Signed up, take it to the auction. I'm like Like picture later, david later man saying that to you because you know David later is a comedian. You know he's just like what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 2:

Why couldn't he forge? Why are you gonna do it I?

Speaker 1:

Feel like I was his assistant.

Speaker 2:

Did you look up what any of that could possibly tell you? I?

Speaker 1:

Mention it to you because I'm like I want Sarah to listen to my dream.

Speaker 2:

It seems she what she thinks of it. That's a little insane right? Or a lot insane actually it.

Speaker 1:

So it was so vivid too, because, you know, I, just I, I felt I was there, no, and then that night I was having really Weird different dreams that at one point I thought that somebody was calling my name on top of me I hate those streams. And then I, even when I woke myself up, going like Well, you know, like what, and then I wake up and I'm like nobody's saying anything, geez, and then that's when I have the whole victory.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, that's crazy. Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 1:

So anyways, yeah, I have to look up, but, but each meaning of the dream is yeah, definitely you know, I think the gold pen definitely means some rain.

Speaker 2:

Yes, shall we wrap it up.

Speaker 1:

Okay, girl, somebody wants to analyze that dream, go for it. Send it to me. Oh, put it on X Twitter. What do you think about it? Analyze that dream. That's crazy.

Speaker 2:

Well well, we always analyze them too, anyway.

Speaker 1:

So we'll see what it means. All right, thank you for listening this craziness. Next time we'll have some songs. Yes, we will mm-hmm and that one, yeah.
