Sarah:

Hello, this Panic and this is Sarah and you are listening to Music Elixir a podcast between two friends discussing their favorite Asian artists and music.

DJ Panic:

Hey lady, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready. I'm ready, ready, ready, SpongeBob. I'm so ready, I'm ready.

Sarah:

I'm ready. I'm ready ready ready.

DJ Panic:

I hope that's not somebody's song.

Sarah:

Hi, ready, I'm Sarah, nice to meet you, ah-ha-ha.

DJ Panic:

Hello everybody, welcome to Music Elixir.

Sarah:

Yes, yeah, oh, I was going to say this is going to be a singles episode. Yes, we're going to introduce you to some new music and some. I think only one of these groups we've ever really talked about before It's not a group, it's a person and it's.

DJ Panic:

Right Actually two people.

Sarah:

Well, yeah, we haven't done a whole episode on the other one.

DJ Panic:

Yes, which I would like to do a whole episode on that person because it's very important, or that group. Do you mean the group or person? Okay, now, i don't know who you're talking about. We're not. The Pisces connection here is still like we're not getting the connection. It's not, not, not getting there.

Sarah:

Well, because you're saying person, so I'm assuming you mean an individual. Yeah, well, we have talked about one individual, but it was in a group Right, and then the other one is a group that we have not covered yet, right, like we've mentioned them in passing, but we have. Right. So which one is the one you want to do, the individual or the group? The individual?

DJ Panic:

Oh, okay, Because he's very important. Okay, he's. he's been important in being out in the Japanese industry for quite some time.

Sarah:

Oh well, that's oh actually. So yes, that's actually a third one then. Oh geez.

DJ Panic:

So okay, yeah, The connections to not hear the Pisces connections not getting there.

Sarah:

Because I forgot we also mentioned that person in passing too.

DJ Panic:

Yes, Okay, all right, all right.

Sarah:

So or you caught up, one of us caught up, something happened.

DJ Panic:

Something happened, but so yeah, the singles are actually. all of them came out either in the vicinity of June and one actually at the end of May, but one of the groups that banned. actually, i'm so excited about this. This single came out on 2020, but definitely want to talk about more of this band, yes, i mean, i just as a band.

Sarah:

Well, they do have some more current stuff, but yes, this particular song was sort of. This is one that, yeah, our, our thing, yeah, sure.

DJ Panic:

Okay, we'll. We'll build up on them when, when we write their song, But the first single that we are going to talk about is OB. It's old WV, But the way that I found that is pronounced is only Oh yeah.

Sarah:

Well, you know like, oh yeah, Although I would think it would be Alvi, Right.

DJ Panic:

And their single that was released on June 17th is gamer, so let me start with that one. This is a pop punk heavy. The song is just fun with positive vibes I have. We have not said positive vibes in quite some time.

Sarah:

Well, we said it in the last one, yes.

DJ Panic:

I heard it out there. I like that. I heard chance like I'm a go getter, I'm up and grind and I'm a winner. This just it's fun. It's a fun song.

Sarah:

It is Well. First of all, it reminds me of like a theme song for a show. You know it's like got totally OST vibes right. It's also very 80s. It's got sort of a that 80s anthem again that we always love to hear The guitar at the beginning is just incredible. Like that opening is just like Get you The drums accentuating everything. So, anyways, i like that it's. It's really about like they're just going to risk it all to achieve their goal, like everything about it, all or nothing against all odds. Game on, baby, i'll have no fear, i'm a winner, it's my destiny. I mean, they're just like grind day and night. Yeah, they're just reaching for a goal and they're going to attain it.

DJ Panic:

Yes.

Sarah:

Like they're going to fight for it, work for it, they're going to whatever it takes. Yes, all or nothing. So yeah, Gamer.

DJ Panic:

Of course gamer could be. You know, just playing a game Right, just playing the game alive. You know, playing the game of just being in the music industry, that of course they want to achieve a goal as a group.

DJ Panic:

Of course You know how many groups are coming out of Japan, that you know they want to make it as big as you know, let's say Oshii you know, So, yeah, I'm a gamer, I am a game of this trying to get this industry music game you know being with one of the winners Playing the game of business here.

Sarah:

Well, that's you always refer to it, as you know, got to play the game when you're dealing with large companies, large groups, large organizations. because it is, it's a game. You have to follow their rules. You got to do this. There's steps you got to take. Once you're in, though, once they, once they make their mark, they won't have to play the game anymore.

DJ Panic:

This is a very fun song. If they know how to, of course, promote it and, you know, get it out there in the public, we'll definitely make a mark for what other stuff that they actually made in the past. And this song is, yeah, so much fun. They got to play it more. For if they can get this on a you know coming of age kind of anime or you know some type of fun drama, definitely will make a mark of like oh my God, i got to listen more of this group.

Sarah:

Well, you know, what else it would be good for is, like, a sports brand. This was like such a good theme and idea for any type of you know, nike, reebok, whoever like being a go getter, going out and just being a winner. You know what I mean. Like that's what they're always trying to say, all these big name label sports things.

DJ Panic:

So there's so many right being seen lately, a lot of anime or manga. There are sports, you know related related Have you got?

Sarah:

have been for years though. Print Remember Prince of Tennis?

DJ Panic:

Yes, there's one really big right now with basketball. Of course, basketball is getting huge, and also the volleyball Well, it was huge as well, so it's like it should be one of those anime that are very popular and hot, you know, popping right now.

Sarah:

They've had a few, though. Slim Dunk actually is that that's the old one. OK, I'm like, wait a minute. That's what I'm saying, though, prince of Tennis, come on, who remembers that one? That's that.

DJ Panic:

I don't remember that one. Oh, my God.

Sarah:

But yeah, no, it would work for that too. Yes, i mean there's, they've got a lot of potential, a lot of options. Yes, like someone should scoop this up because it's a really good song. Yes, So We highly recommend it people.

DJ Panic:

Yes, please Listen to Ovi. Ovi, O-W-V, O-W-V In English. I know fans are going to be like no fans have correct me. It's like it's not O-W-V is Ovi. I'm like, OK, it's still going to mess up because, come on, fan bands, do something easy for Americans to like, understand and read, because you know it's we all going to be saying O-W-V. I just want to say I'm sorry to the fans, Go men aside, but it's going to be for us O-W-V.

Sarah:

Is it because it doesn't mean anything? else to us as a word, like something you look at where, like no, it's O-W-V. Exactly Because we can't pronounce Ovi.

DJ Panic:

Well, now that we're standing like that, people are going to be like more attracted to the band. hopefully, Oh man, Our next song. you want to introduce that one.

Sarah:

Sure, so we're going to be talking about Dream Out Loud by Sky High featuring the Ozi, or Ozzy, ozzy, ozzy. Ok, see again if I don't hear it, i'm not sure. I'm like could be Ozzy, could be Ozzy.

DJ Panic:

You know what, since it's Japanese, maybe Ozzy Ozzy, all right, that could be Yeah, yeah, dream Out, loud Dream. Out Loud. That single came out on May 31st. This is the one that came out like a little bit later on.

Sarah:

Yeah but it's I mean, it's still fairly recent. It's the one with the vicinity. So this one, jazzy, funky, oh my God, the brass and the organ in this are just so. Yeah, catch your head bobbing and you're. What is that? The sideways bob Where your neck sort of doing a serpentine snake like maneuver. But this is like it's, a great mix of the funk and the rap. When they introduce the rap into it, yes, it's, it's a very good sort of blending of the two different genres and sounds. It's awesome, awesome. And this is another one Like it's a great attitude song without being nasty and aggressive. It's just like hey, dream Out Loud, follow you, do what you, you know, want to do. Again, another one about attaining your goal, reaching for what you want to do and making it happen. It's pretty cool.

DJ Panic:

Yeah, Another positive vibe song right here. I like. The chance was no, I'm. I'm reading the other one I like. Oh my God, the scat, the scat at the beginning.

Sarah:

That's a very, very very.

DJ Panic:

Jazzy, Definitely. Also. They hit pop, of course, like you were mentioning the name of the tracks, as at all, Dream Out Loud any dreams that you have. Just go for them. Follow your dreams. It's, yeah, it might, like you said, it has an attitude, but it's more like a positive attitude, nothing like on your face kind of attitude.

Sarah:

Yeah, they're just saying hey, go for it, you know, do what you want. Well, like what does he say? Feel the rush through my veins as I pick up the pace. Yes For a boost to the brain.

DJ Panic:

And, of course, this guy hi, this is the one I was telling you, Right, i want to do an episode on him. He has a major history, Yeah.

DJ Panic:

You know we touched a little bit on the B first episode that we did with. by the way, thank you, besties. It's still trending on our, you know, on our podcast. Yeah, it's still gaining streaming. It has downloads. Yeah, it's over 500 downloads right now. Over 500 downloads, and that's amazing. So, thank you very much, besties, for all your pushing it out there. We do have a transcription on that one. for those who are Japanese and want to learn, and, you know, understand a little bit more of what's going on in our talk, go for it. You know, translated. If you use Google translate, remember, not always correct.

Sarah:

They take some liberties, exactly.

DJ Panic:

So if you see something that you're like, oh my goodness, why are they saying please let us know, we'll try to correct it or make you you know. so it doesn't sound like.

Sarah:

Yeah, we can rephrase it so that it comes out in a more understandable way, Because I yeah, I've had that problem with a few things. I'm like, though they can't be saying that Right.

DJ Panic:

Right, what are you doing Me Exactly, google? No, that's not right.

Sarah:

But, yeah, no, definitely Sky High, because we were focused more on the band that he's representing. We didn't talk about him a lot, but, yes, definitely A lot of history and a lot of talent and a lot of ambition and drive. So oh yeah somebody who dreams out loud, for sure.

DJ Panic:

Yes, he does, and he is taking a risk, major risk, on his dream, and I like that. He's like I'm going to do it, because he has a passion to make this dream come true. He has this passion and everybody's behind him because they feel his passion and they can see his vision Definitely, definitely going to do an episode without besties. I'm sure there's a lot of you who are fans, so I would like for you guys to also help us out on that episode.

DJ Panic:

Yeah, you can offer up some advice. Yeah, next song I'm introducing this awesome ladies Call. second lady from Osaka, mm. Hmm, What I love this band. Okay, so why this? look, we were going to do another song.

DJ Panic:

Right But during this week, i noticed that this band started following me on OK Asia, as well as musical lixer, and I'm like, huh interesting. So I went and did a deep dive on the girls and the band And I'm like, omg, they are awesome. And I'm like I'm following them back. This is going to be good. This is going to be good. So the song that we're going to talk about. It was released on July 31st of 2020 and is DTB. This is a very punk and ska song. When I was researching the acronym for DTB, it could mean that is Dotonbori Bridge, which is the nightlife and tourist area of Osaka, since the group is from Osaka. So this song, of course, is all in English.

DJ Panic:

So, of course, we can understand what's going on on this one, the singers actually from the US and the rest of the members are from Osaka, so the song to me is about the day after a wild night at Dotonbori. You know she can't find her shoe, she missed her transportation, she can't find her pass, but I love the singers. Wrong in your face emotions And it's like I love her.

Sarah:

Well, she's got a great sort of gravelly voice, yes, but in tune. Yes, she can carry a tune, even with the gravelly. Not everybody can do that. Some gravelly voices just sort of, you know, talk their way through something or whatever, but no, definitely very strong. Like you said, this is like ska, punk rock. It's like the specials fishbone, the pixies and the buzzcocks all rolled into one thing and made female. Right.

DJ Panic:

Yes, it's like they, it's like all those groups made baby girls and they made this group.

Sarah:

That's their baby girls, because the range of sound that happens through the song, like it doesn't stay just the ska and it doesn't stay just the punk, and it just transitions back and forth And it's so cool And I love the. Yeah, i miss my train, i miss my boss, i miss my train and. I've lost my pass. I love when I catch the jerk who's using it.

DJ Panic:

I might just kick his ass. I love that. I was like oh my God.

Sarah:

When I heard that, because that's exactly how you would do When I heard that, I was like yeah, yeah.

Sarah:

But like. But it's also it's more than like just about like the day after the party. It's about the need to like travel around and see things and be a part of things, and especially, you know, 2020, we were in the middle of the pandemic. So this, this idea of like I want to be able to be free and go check out all this stuff, because, from what I was looking at, a lot of their songs seem to be sort of about getting somewhere, reaching a destination and being part of something, being a part of that. So it's really cool. It's just, but the whole thing is just so much fun Because, you know, we've all been there, right? Oh yeah, nice to hear like where's all my shit? Yeah, sorry, it's where my language, but like you are, you're like no, what's going on?

DJ Panic:

This is what happens to you. Go out party. You're like what the heck am I Exactly? Where's my, where's my stuff? Where's my purse? Those are not my shoes. Why is my shirt inside out? What the heck is on my hair?

Sarah:

And yeah, and was this where I was supposed to be?

DJ Panic:

Exactly I get here.

Sarah:

Yeah, exactly.

Sarah:

It's insane, but yeah, i like it because, yeah, i just felt like one of those days, one of those nights, one of those nights, morning after, you're like huh, but like I'm looking forward to doing it again, i want to get out there and do it again. So it's just about grabbing life by the. you know what? getting out there, just say it by the cojones, grab it by the cojones but just enjoy it, because you know it's a great big world and a whole lot to see and a whole lot to do, so enjoy yourself.

DJ Panic:

Exactly. Just be lucky that you're alive after a while.

Sarah:

Oh, we've talked about that before. Oh, please, i don't know what I was thinking.

DJ Panic:

Yeah, we have said I sometimes I'm amazed that I was not arrested, that I was not dead, you know, or got into a really serious predicament or hospitalized. Yeah, Because I'm like wow. I really something was, you know, on my side not to get killed.

Sarah:

Yes.

DJ Panic:

Oh my God, anyways, yes, crazy time.

Sarah:

Yes, we can laugh about it.

DJ Panic:

Now I will, since I, since I saw that their ladies have reached out to us, i will like to actually invite them for an interview. All right, so since I'm actually we're putting out this episode and tagging it on it, hopefully they'll listen to it, wink, wink. So, second lady, we would like to invite you to Music, electoral Podcasts. Of course it's going to be in English. I'll send a DM and see if we can get to, but definitely we'll like to have one of the members at least to talk about more about their wild, or what are they doing in Osaka? You know what is their goal, definitely.

Sarah:

Well, i was going to say, yeah, i'd like to learn more about, because I checked out their Twitter and their Facebook and their Instagram, but there's not a whole lot like really like about them, right, and who they are and where they started. So, yeah, we want to learn all that. We want to.

DJ Panic:

The basic that I found is that they were just doing it for fun, just to getting together and just, you know, do something for fun. But now they just wanted to do it more than just fun.

Sarah:

Well, they've been doing some shows around. Yeah, I was checking out their stuff. They've been.

DJ Panic:

I saw on Instagram.

Sarah:

They just did one, yeah, little little group fests and stuff, so so they're active out there. People Check them out because they're fun, oh my.

DJ Panic:

God, yes, we'll love to see them live. I know, right, if I had, if I had the money or the backup money to do this, to bring groups from Japan to come and perform here in Massachusetts. I would love to do a mini tour with Second Lady and the Mollies.

Sarah:

I was just going to say are you going to say the Mollies? Oh, hell yeah.

DJ Panic:

Because I wanted to make like a front, you know a female front, you know kind of tour, you know representing those And you know what's good about it Is.

Sarah:

Their music is sort of similar, so that they it would be a good show. You know, compatibility wise.

DJ Panic:

Oh yeah.

Sarah:

Sound. Yes, because you know you've definitely I've been to things where I'm like how did this band get picked to be with, like the?

DJ Panic:

other five because they don't fit.

Sarah:

Right, so these, yeah, those two. the minute you started to say, i was like I know she's going to bring up the Mollies.

DJ Panic:

Yes, go see, now the Pisces Connection got there.

Sarah:

They're, definitely they would. That would be a great. What's the word I'm looking for? What do you call it, Marquis?

DJ Panic:

Yes, For a third band. I would have got one from here, from United States. Oh my God, Shana Fulana, oh okay, do you remember? Shana Fulana.

Sarah:

Bagel.

DJ Panic:

Were you there when Shana Fulana? No, no, you weren't there on that concert.

Sarah:

No.

DJ Panic:

Oh my gosh, shana Fulana is amazing, love her.

Sarah:

But you've talked about Shana Fulana. Yes, a lot She is amazing, she's.

DJ Panic:

She's one that, yeah, she will be like that, it will be. You know, the second lady, the Mollies and Shana Fulana. Oh my god, that would have been an amazing, amazing concert. Okay, i got it, I don't know. Come on, mega millions.

Sarah:

This needs to happen.

DJ Panic:

Or the universe, Come on, help me out here. This is a great opportunity for these three groups to do something amazing out there, especially when you have female front. You know fronting groups, you know? Oh, okay, And now somebody's gonna steal my idea.

Sarah:

Oh, help to the know.

DJ Panic:

Because I said it here, first Stand up, mind, or some producer, come on, help me out. Anyways, would you like to introduce the next song, miss Sierra?

Sarah:

I'm not sure exactly which one we're doing. Is it the Japanese?

DJ Panic:

Yes.

Sarah:

Okay, there we go. All right, we're well, because it wasn't, it's not on spotify. Oh yeah, so you know, in the listing it showed up, but it wasn't actually a Spotify Right Accessible. So this is Laila La from Naniwa Danchi. So I had to rely on YouTube, yes, for the music. So of course I saw the video, which is hot, hot Girl. Wow, holy moly, Like that opening with Daigo.

DJ Panic:

Hello Little cutie patootie.

Sarah:

Daigo Uh-uh, he ain't being cutie patootie.

DJ Panic:

No, he's only cutie patootie with Nino.

Sarah:

That's true actually Right. He turns into the little fanboy when he's around. Oh my.

DJ Panic:

God, he's so adorable. When he did that, i'm like, oh my. God look at him. He's like. I'm like, are you kidding me? Who is this baby? He's so cute. But anyways.

Sarah:

no, no, this is. this song is like I girl, oh, go ahead. So it's got well, all right, it's just it's a dance song. Holy moly, the distorted synth, the beats, the bass. Now, a while ago you mentioned somebody's song. reminded you of Justin Timberlake. Yes, this one totally, totally made me think of Sexy Bag. It's got the sort of same feel that, oh my God, awesome. So, people, if you want to hear the song and check it out, you don't have to watch the video if you don't want to, but you can definitely find it on YouTube.

DJ Panic:

Now I need what don't you? It's on YouTube music.

Sarah:

So if you have YouTube music.

DJ Panic:

You can just and you can just listen. Yeah.

Sarah:

But this one. my only negative thing to say about is it's too short. Oh my God, The song could go on for 10 minutes and I wouldn't get tired of it.

DJ Panic:

It's too short because it's that's the only version you're going to be hearing. You know for streaming, just like Johnny just sent me the YouTube remix of it, so that's what I was able to play it on Okay Asia. Thank you, johnny's, for sending me that, but the yeah, so the video came out. The single came out on June 23rd. To me, this is the EDM techno. This 91 is not bubbly boyish charms.

Sarah:

No no.

DJ Panic:

This 90 was is on the prowl and once you're complete attention, especially when they tell you don't look back, come on, light up my fire, let's get started. I'm like, excuse me, especially with that Diego, come on. At the beginning they knew, they knew very well to use Diego at the first, at that shot. So if the guys were in high school, this attitude is no longer a freshman but more of the sophomore. Hello, it is their second album.

Sarah:

Well, that's good. Yeah, they're getting a little more bold and into their their own. They're starting to project who they really are. Is their second album? Yep, Yeah. Well, I turned on you know, the watch McCall closed captions So I could see the words and translate. So some of what I saw was going to reach the top, rewrite your destiny, head towards the future into a vortex of endless challenges. There is no dream that cannot be grasped. I was like wow, it's. it's weird. So, like, all of these songs we've been talking about on some level are about attaining a goal. Yeah, Reaching, reaching for the stars. Nothing's going to hold you back, Nothing's going to stop you. You just got to forge ahead and find your destiny Right. Yes, Re-write your destiny. They're growing up, Yeah, But this is like everything about it. I was just like wow. When we first were introduced to them, they were so cute, yeah, peppy and colorful. And then this comes out and I was like whoa, whoa, what are they doing?

DJ Panic:

Well, that's what these little baby boys Well, that's why I categorize it. If they were in high school, you know, freshman year, you're like yeah, you're still like in the elementary kind of like vibes, You don't, you don't you know, awkward a little, geeky a little geeky You don't fit yet with high school, but right after you already had the first year of high school, when sophomore year comes in, you're like a bit more mature hormones.

Sarah:

I've kicked in. Well, you think you're a bit more mature.

DJ Panic:

Well, hormones have.

Sarah:

They're still fine in their way, but they're definitely they're. They're putting out there that this is the path we're on. This is who we are working towards becoming Right. So, yeah, they're growing up.

DJ Panic:

They're growing up. Definitely They're getting more, more of your attention, no longer in the kidsy way.

Sarah:

Although he still he can't help, but look cute, like I was like oh, there's still that little preciousness to him. But oh, he wants to be like wow, I think it's always the hair.

DJ Panic:

If they change that hairstyle on a lot of them and give oh girl. Yeah, that's true, and of course again the the costumes, if they're changed. those outfits, yeah, definitely.

Sarah:

Well, these are. These are definitely more mature outfits in this video. Like I said, compared to what they've been wearing, they still in the sophomore stage.

DJ Panic:

That's true. You know they're, they're, they're good, so I can't there's, let's see what happens This?

Sarah:

bright colors and you know they're transitioning on this song.

DJ Panic:

Now the hopping popping one is more colorful, more of the Naniwa, you know Yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah, well, i mean, think about it. Arashi even had to do that. Well, i don't know, it's like I'm 40. Do I have to be cute? He's like I'm not cute anymore. That's why he's. I think he's adorable, but you know I'm like I'm done. I want to go ahead and don't with this BS, for like I don't know I'm not cute anymore. That's why he's I think he's adorable, but you know I'm like I'm done. I want to go ahead and don't with this BS, for like I don't know I'm not cute anymore. I'm not adorable, but you know.

DJ Panic:

I'm like I'm done. I want to go ahead and don't with this BS for like 20 plus years.

Sarah:

I've been cute for 25 years. I'm done. Sorry, i don't know. You're always going to be cute, always. All right, all right, all right. All right.

DJ Panic:

So, last but not least, very, very happy about this, this is for a solo, solo album that is being actually awaited by a lot of oh My goodness, mom, baby, mom, bebes. Yes, i even forgot the name of the band.

Sarah:

I had a feeling that's mom bebes, you're having a brain fart.

DJ Panic:

So yes, is I am with overdrive because hello Mm-hmm release on June 23rd. Oh, mg, this is trap R&B. It's moody I am is with his low vocals, that, oh my god, it's voice, the sultryness of his delivery and the lyrics, even though overdrive is about, like himself as a performer and a creator, the buyout boy image I can see, like the, that image with like a fast car and out of control But just enjoying, you know, the ride and what he is creating as a solo artist.

Sarah:

Now, right, you know yeah, the but like out of control, but in control Because I don't know the way he delivers. This is like what he's talking about is being like totally amped up and Insert of all this chaos of what's going on. But he has like reached this zen point with it where he's like calm and cool as a cucumber. So the world is rushing by in this speeding car but he's holding the wheel with one hand and leaning back And just taking it as it comes. He is okay. I just have to say he could sing the directions to how a work of blender and make it sound sexy. His voice and his delivery like no matter what he's singing about, you're just like Well, i feel a certain way listening.

DJ Panic:

We love that timber.

Sarah:

Yeah, because we have other, we know other artists that have that timber and we're like oh, i'm doing like, oh yeah, you're like, it doesn't matter what you're saying, it's how you're saying it to me, because, oh my god, and so that's what I mean. Like this song, yeah, it's, it's about the ambition and the, but he is so Smooth about it, mm-hmm. And oh yeah, the, the whole opening, so dramatic. Yeah, like the, the tick, tick, ticking, the trap beats, like you were saying. Yeah, yeah, you, just you can feel the adrenaline to this without feeling rushed about it. I mean that that's what I mean. It's sort of this yin and yang thing going on, like what he's talking about is is all of this activity, all of this flurry around him, and yet the delivery is so Centered, and so I don't know, it's crazy, mm-hmm, he does this all the time. Oh yeah, he just makes you feel a certain way, no matter what he's doing.

DJ Panic:

Oh yeah, oh yeah, he's the baby right?

Sarah:

Yeah, he's, And he's like of everybody. You're all it's like because you know other people have done their solo stuff and No, there's something about you're like.

DJ Panic:

I just love his loofiness too. like it, just like, yeah, you know. and like, and just just like, oh my goodness, yeah, yeah, you can read the package The behind of uh, i don't know Crisco package and I'll be like, hi, right, well, that's like, wow I think I've said it, maybe about one or two other people.

Sarah:

they could seriously, you know, just Reading a cereal box, yeah, and I'd be like wow, wow. But it's sort of yeah, like, oh, no, i, he could do a whole show about washing dishes and I'd watch it because he's that Like engaging and and you know, yeah, i am Whatever. whatever he wants to do, i'll watch it, i'll listen, because it's like mesmerizing. Yeah, he's mesmerizing. Yes, i don't think he. Maybe he does realize it or maybe he doesn't, maybe he doesn't, because it's just Who he is and how he presents himself, how he moves, how he talks, almost like he's kind of bored with whatever it is He's talking about the whole loofiness.

Sarah:

He's like yeah, i don't care, whatever You're gonna care, I don't, but you will. I mean, he's just so yeah.

DJ Panic:

He can read shakespeare to me, because that makes me sleepy.

Sarah:

I will be like.

DJ Panic:

Whoa Read that again.

Sarah:

I like shakespeare, so I'd enjoy hearing him.

DJ Panic:

Oh, it makes shakespeare Read by. I am Here's the audiobook Bestseller. Sarah will probably buy it. How many times the whole collection? I'm gonna get it. Oh my god.

Sarah:

Oh, my goodness. There you go. I prefer the comedies, the tragedies. Yeah, the histories are kind of I'm like well, all right, all right, and I was a history, shakespeare's histories.

DJ Panic:

I'm like there you go, i am.

Sarah:

I don't need history tragedy comedy.

DJ Panic:

Yeah I am you know if you're like, oh, let me just take a break from music, let me just make read some books And make a living out of that. People, we bind that because it's oh, his voice, oh, love, love, love, omg. So incredible, yes amazing artist.

Sarah:

Yes, yes, Yes.

DJ Panic:

So for those of you who do not know these, this you know just artists. Give them a chance. Um, everybody is on Spotify and also on youtube as well. Not only on youtube right.

Sarah:

Because of their you know contract organization, they can't be on spotify, but Maybe someday listen on ok asia. Yeah, requested an ok asia so we can play it more, or you can again youtube music, youtube videos Yes, check them out. They've got their own channel. Yes, so yes they do you can check out some of their other stuff, mm-hmm. And then of course, yeah, always the other artists also available.

DJ Panic:

So from this list.

Sarah:

Who is your fave, who is my favorite artist? or the song, the song, the song. Let me Well, that's hard to say. I think actually I would have to go with second lady, just because it's like, like I said, it rolled in all of these things from my past, that just everything about it just sort of took me back in time and reminded me of how my life was.

DJ Panic:

You had a connection with the girls, right, right, well, the same thing with me. because I'm like, because this was okay, everybody, this was a last minute decision, because it was going to be somebody else that we were going to cover, right. and when this happened, when the ladies reach out, or I saw that you know, they started following us I was like, let me give this girls a chance, let me give this group a chance. when I heard that song, i'm like omg Sarah is gonna connect with me because this is something that we have done Many times, and I'm like, okay, change your plans. We're singing, listen.

Sarah:

Well, i was gonna say what was so funny. We'd been listening to our playlist, we had it all set and Three, four days into it, panic sends me a dm. All right, i'm adding, i changed the list. There's a new song. I took one out, put a new one. I was like, okay, you got to give me more time, you're like Saturday, Saturday recording.

DJ Panic:

I'm like yes.

Sarah:

Because I was like I need more time to listen. But the minute I heard it, i was like, well, i know why you picked it. Absolutely, this was for for me. That because they're all great songs. Oh yeah, they're all awesome, awesome songs, but this, this particular one, is not just because we want an interview. It's because this, this song, seriously, yeah, spoke to me on so many levels. Yes, it's awesome that it's a female group. It's awesome that they're doing all these genres that females typically get sort of pushed out of. Oh yeah, and that they rocked it and and like they really they've been doing this for a long time. That is one thing I did see. Yes, i was like, wow, they've actually been together for quite some time. So this is, yeah, they've been, they've been out there just doing it, and this song sort of shows That they're in it for the fun and and that they enjoy it. You know what I mean. Like, yeah, they just did not hold back with it. I love it So awesome, definitely.

DJ Panic:

They did not hold back. They uh, definitely a diy. We love the. I was and it's it just. Yeah, it felt like my time when I was like into the punk rock and a lot of diy and being with bands, being with friends with bands.

DJ Panic:

Then learning a little bit of you know what they're doing as well, or just being in a band, and I was like, yeah, definitely connect with them. This is, and that's the. That's why I had to Like we got to put these girls in here. We gotta talk about them. They're amazing, definitely So. Second lady, i'll be sending out the M inviting you to the podcast. But no, definitely, we definitely want to know more about them.

Sarah:

Yeah, I don't want to say too much right now because if we do get to talk to them, I want to be able to say things fresh and new, and you still will be.

DJ Panic:

Remember last, so nervous I don't know. I'm like, come on, girl, it's just talking to a bestie is good.

Sarah:

Well, that's no, this, no. I mean, i don't want to put out any of the ideas of I already have, actually, but there's some things that came to mind that I was like, oh, i'd love to ask them about this. Yeah, was this the space you were in when you were thinking about this, writing about this, singing about this?

DJ Panic:

kind of stuff.

Sarah:

So yeah, so I want to be in the moment with it. Ok, no, no teasers right now.

DJ Panic:

So, all right, I'm going to reach out see what happened.

Sarah:

We will manifest it, it will happen, oh hey. So, speaking of Pisces connection, it says nothing to do with the music.

DJ Panic:

You know I like to talk about horoscope.

Sarah:

Yeah, ok, go ahead. So I was looking at a horoscope today. It was about this upcoming week, oh, and actually it was funny because today was actually the day they said that there was a. It was a good time for collaboration, oh, a good time for working with new ideas and new ambitions, which is what's so funny that all of these songs are about just reaching out and attaining a goal, yes, and, and striving for something and working to make things better and live in life, doing you, having your drive and your your spark and moving forward with it. So it's just funny because today was the day for reaching for goals and working together, collaborating and getting things rolling. So, wow. So there you are, everybody, you heard it happen right here in this pod.

Sarah:

Wow, i was like, oh my gosh, that was today, we'd already talked about it, right, And now I'm letting you know it was in fact predestined. Ok, now, our horoscope said it was going to be a good day for it, and here it is.

DJ Panic:

Oh, yes, we're collaborating, now We're talking about this And then, yes, hopefully, yeah, definitely, i'm going to be the, i'm in the ladies or the group. We're going to we're.

Sarah:

We're manifesting things.

DJ Panic:

There was something about the exactly the horoscope of the week ahead of the 26th. So many from the 26 till now And this is a podcast that I listen to. Should I say her name? Maybe I should say her name. Her name is Chani Nicholas. You should know her. She's quite famous And she does a podcast every Monday because she just does a talk about the week ahead and then she talks about astrology. Ok, everybody, you know that we like astrology and we like to do this. So this is like we should change our podcast to music and astrology. How about?

Sarah:

that Because music astroluxer.

DJ Panic:

We have a lickser. That's kind of witchy It is. It is OK anyway. So, chani, her prediction for this week was it said that on Monday, something that you were hoping that it was, it was to happen or manifest was not going to go the way you want it, but during the week, towards the end of the week, something better will manifest, and it did, which I'm like whoa, i'd like to listen. So I listen to her podcast on that Monday that she drops her episode And then I go back on Friday or today which I did today and listen to it today to see if what she predicted for that week, it happened to me And it did. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is freaky.

Sarah:

So people think we're nuts when we're like no, it's true.

DJ Panic:

Exactly No. already our friends are like uh oh, there goes the. what did she call the? the? not the client the?

Sarah:

oh my, God, The craft. No, the craft No, because that's the witchy girls right.

DJ Panic:

Yeah, no, what did Miss Miss L used to call us The coven? No, now I'm thinking of synonyms, synonyms. Of course I'm not going to remember because my brain is like what are you trying to say, Whatever, but it has to be with this, with the witchy, with the witchy thing, and then the whole music thing that we can only, like you know, connect, as of everybody else is like the outsider, and we're just like connected that way.

DJ Panic:

Even though the beginning of the podcast we were not connecting And I'm like see something's going on, We're not connecting, It's fuzzy in the middle, Partially because I forgot that we talked about three of them, not just two.

Sarah:

So I was like wait, what do you mean?

DJ Panic:

Yeah, because we have. we have mentioned Sky High on the B first.

Sarah:

Yes, And then you know, we've had to talk about with Monster X, and all And well, not had to. but we have talked about, and then Naniwa on Pass with Nino, right You know, because we have mentioned in other rants and ramblings about right them, putting out new music or whatever.

DJ Panic:

So past past episodes, please check them out. Yeah, definitely So, of course, i forget the name cult.

Sarah:

I remember it now The cult, all right, all right, yeah, she calls us a cult.

DJ Panic:

The cult is talking, so that's the one. Ok, i was going to say the C word.

Sarah:

Just changed the L. I know She wouldn't call us that.

DJ Panic:

No, if we get a piss on off, yes, she might.

Sarah:

Yeah. Anyways all right.
