We kick off with some playful musings on voice impersonations, sharing laughs over the curious and often comedic ways we mimic those close to us. It's a quirky habit many share, and we speculate on its origins while warming up to discuss the all-too-relatable struggle of leaving the sunny beaches to face a frosty welcome back home. From the instinct to hibernate during cold snaps to how our feline companions snuggle in for extra naps, we paint a picture of winter life adjustments.

Excitement brews as we move into the vibrant world of K-pop, spotlighting the debut of the boy group XLOV under 257 Entertainment. Their first single, "I'mma Be," caught our attention with its playful yet sultry vibe, setting the stage for a promising career. The conversation then dances through XLOV's EP and onto GOT7's new album "Winter Heptagon," celebrating the group's reunion and the intricate soundscapes that define their latest work, including the dreamy and dark tones of their single "Python." With the Year of the Snake in 2025 on the horizon, we ponder connections between their music and astrological symbols.

We move on to Japanese rap duo Creepy Nuts and their eclectic track "Doppelganger". The varied sound and emotions gave us a much needed energy boost. The episode wraps up with a solo artist, Yamada Ryosuke (from Hey! Say! JUMP) and his first solo single "SWITCH". Sultry dance sounds and an amazing vocal range make this tune a must listen.

it's that time again. Everybody, this is sarah with miss panic. Miss panic, I'm thinking which one should I throw in today? And we are music elixir, just so you know. I didn't start with that because I want to switch it up a little right, I know you're always like welcome to music elixir. My name is sarah, and no, I figure most people who listen to us already know that's.

Speaker 1

You know so, yeah, but just in case yeah, it's funny that okay, because I know I'm not the only person, other people have as well that when you're talking about, when you're making the voice of somebody else, it completely changes. Why is that? And it doesn't even sound like you, like I did your voice, supposedly your voice, and it sounded nothing like your voice. Well, I think we both have so different sounding voices, yeah, so it's like I can't copy you either. I'm panic, it doesn't work exactly. It's just because you don't. You also don't want to sound like a jerk, you know being like yeah, I'm trying to sound like someone and so I'm gonna go right. Actually, I just sounded like my sister. Oh, my god, that's rachel listen. Yeah, oh no, but when she's, when she's being like, you know, talking like she's somebody else, she always sounds like that. It's her like default.

Speaker 1

I'm like that's funny, that is funny, right, when you okay. So when you find somebody annoying, you definitely make like an annoying voice, like, yeah, yeah, there's some people I know they're just like, oh, it's so annoying, you know. Anyways, okay, we're not talking. Okay, I'm sure some people have done the same thing with their friends or whatever. Yeah, absolutely, so it's cool. It's a thing you know, like how did that start? It could have been somebody, a comedian back in the day, like I don't know Some court jester probably starting that BS. People, you know, I don't know, okay, I just it's just me thinking Well, I think it's like human nature, especially if someone annoys you. So you want to be like well, someone so said blah, blah, yeah, so you don't want to do it in your voice because then everyone will be like well, is that how you feel? So you have to. You have to portray someone else. Oh, yeah, all right.

Speaker 1

Today's music yeah, yay, yes, so there's. So, okay, nevermind, I don't know how to start this one. I don't know, all right, there's, there's some new music. There's some new music, there's some new artists. Come on, did you panic? It's not, you first get it together. Jeez, this, I don't know.

Speaker 1

I have not been in okay game mode. Come on, all right, okay, I don't know, since vacation I have been in a different mode. I guess you know that's what happens when I'm in the heat. For like a whole week my brain is like I'm still trying to recover from the puerto rico weather, oh. And then you come here to the extreme cold. It does the same thing, girl. It's like it's so cold I can't even think. It's like what was it? Monday? Monday, no, monday was a holiday for us. And then tuesday, uh, the 21st, we'll go back to work.

Speaker 1

I could not get up. I was just like I don't want to get up. It just I felt like hibernating seven, I, you know, and that's I mean. Compared to some places, we got it good, true, minus seven's, nothing, true, but I mean it. It just my body even like told me like stay in bed. Yeah, you know, hibernate, exactly, stay in bed.

Speaker 1

Alarm went off, I snoozed and I went to bed relatively not good time, you know, nine is pretty early for a lot of people but I was just like all right, snoozed and it just like went back to like deep sleep. But it wasn't just sleep, deep sleep like I'm waking, I'm trying to get startled you when the snooze went off, yeah, and I'm like what? And I'm like, okay, you know what, I'm just gonna roll over. And then again back to deep sleep and I said to myself you know what? I'm gonna work from home today. I can't, I can't move, I can't. Why am I? My body feels so heavy, like just heavy. When I looked at the temperature and I'm like damn damn, no wonder my body was like it's time to hibernate. The other day it was like 16 degrees. I was like this is a heat wave compared to like the days you know two days prior where, insane. When I woke up it was in the negatives. So I was like 16 man, that's pretty good.

Speaker 1

How did the cats adjust it to that? They can't are like we're just sleeping all day. They do. They sleep all day and they demand food constantly. Oh, my sister's like what's wrong with them? I'm like it's because it's cold. They feel like they need to store up, they need that and energy. So they're like feed me, feed me, human, I'm hungry. It's mostly Bowie. Bowie's already beefy enough, I know, but Presley's like okay, he's like I'll just sleep, curled up in my ball, conserve energy. He has more hair too. Yeah, he has more hair too. Yeah, he's more fluffy. Yeah, you know, he's probably telling his brothers I'm like see what happens when you have a crew cut. You were born with a crew cut, oh my God. Anyways, yeah, moving on to the music portion of this podcast, but if you guys feel the same way, please let us know.

Debut Boy Group and First Single

Speaker 1

Well, you know, for those who are relatable, man, pensacola got snow, I know. The south get snow. New Orleans got snow, I know, oh, the South, new Orleans got snow. Right, the South is crazy. They broke their own record. There's one town in Florida held the record for the most snow. It was like four and a half inches, right, which for us is nothing, I know. But this most recent thing, they broke their own record. The same town that held the record, wow, broke it with 9.8 inches or something. So they almost doubled. They shut down the town. They did. That town was shut down. Wow, it's insane.

Speaker 1

Yeah, the weather over here has been State of emergency, especially for florida, I know, right, they have no. Well, like you said, if you, louisiana got snow again, state of emergency? Yeah, it's. They don't have sanders. They don't have ways to deal with no snow because they don't normally have it. No, no, exactly At their coldest it's usually, like, you know, 58.

Speaker 1

I'm thinking you know that we over here we take care of, like, our pipes. Make sure they don't, you know, burst. I wonder down there. You know it's funny. I thought the same thing the other day because I was like they don't have to have the same type of insulation that we do up here. I mean, they do, because when you have to cool your place as much as they do during the summer, you need insulation to keep the cool in, but it's not the same kind as what we have. So I was like, yeah, I wonder if pipes were bursting and people, you know, oh it's, I can't even imagine, because if you're not used to it, like, you're like what the hell is happening, what do I do? Jackets or stuff like that, hoodies, the most probably. I know, yeah, sneak, nobody has winter boots. They're all in sneakers. Yeah, sandals, sneakers, wow, wow. Oh, my god damn. Okay, all right. Enough of the weather, this is all right.

Speaker 1

This is our third attempt to start the actual music portion of this. Okay, so today, or we're gonna be listening to a song by a debut boy group, uh, named x love. I was mentioning it to sarah. I think they they just recently debuted this month. No, actually they were introduced on december 17th, um, but their actual debut song didn't come out until january 7th. So, yeah, this one came upon.

Speaker 1

Uh, actually, one of the okay, asian listeners started sending over, you know, requests for this group and I'm like, who is this group? And I'm like, oh, they're brand new. Where are they from? They are from south korea, they're a k-pop group. Okay, there are four members.

Speaker 1

The boy group is under 257 entertainment, formerly known as jay park and company. So, uh, because we know jay park no longer, yeah, he's always starts something and then he's like I'm done with it, I'm gonna do something else, moving on, he gets bored quickly. Yes, he does. You know, if he he's like okay, I had enough, I'm doing something else. You know, restless, restless soul. Yeah, yeah, I don't know what happened with his last endeavors. It's kind of great. Only four, wow, four member group. Uh, we can do a deep dive, uh, if you want later on, but they only have one song when they put out an album, we could do it. Yeah, for now, we'll do that.

Speaker 1

Check out their single. Yes, so the song, the name of the song is i'ma be. And here we go, starting kind of sinister. Yeah it is. It's a little. It's very breathy, it's a little syncopated here. It's a little sultry too there. Think about it. Exactly Some sultriness going on here.

Speaker 1

Feel my body, what? Feel my body moving, moving like this Excuse me Picking up a little. Yeah, beats kind of like ooh, hey, silly, silly girl, silly girl, what gonna come and get it? Okay, there's a lot of english. Yeah, yeah, i'ma be, i'ma be. Uh, I'm not sure if the whole thing's in english, but there's been a lot of, there's a lot of english. Again, when there's a lot of English, again, when there's a lot of English, the song is you know, naughty song.

Speaker 1

I'm going to be a ooh, ooh, ooh. Exactly Like, what are you going to be at? Like, fill in the blanks. They got a good mix of the rap and the vocal going on. See my body moving like this Mm-mm. Running the water. What Predagist, what I running the war, or what a prodigy is what I'm blooming on the rain? Yeah, come and get it. Yeah, sit down and watch it. I think that's what I heard.

Speaker 1

I think you, I like that, that. You know it's very playful Because they're not saying what they're going to be. What you need, he knows what you need. Tell me again. Oh, they're being playful with you, like I know what you need, but tell me again, talk dirty to me, I'm, I'm just, I'm thinking you know, since they're like filling the blank.

Speaker 1

No, this is a a very, um, that's sexy, sultry. Yeah, I was gonna say sexy, come hither. Kind of sound and song. It's not not like a dance, it's very, all about just subtle movement and like, yeah, I'm a be a ooh, ooh, ooh, whoa. Wow, this is sultry, this sexy, this hot. It's just candela, ooh, geez, I like it, I like it a lot. And this, this Damn, I like it, I like it a lot. And this, this Damn.

Speaker 1

You remember when I was like, oh, comebacks, or you know, first song should be explosive. This is beyond explosive. Well, it's like explosive in a subtle kind of way, like it sneaks up on you. I'm like is there another song? This can't be just their first song. I'm like, no, that's their first song, first song.

Speaker 1

Boys, you filled some big old shoes there, I know. So better, be like when they have your album and some comeback. Then I'll be like what is this? What happened? I know, right, what happened to the fire.

Speaker 1

Well, because the the thing is, even though it's not like a up-tempo right, you know, heavy song, it's not just a, it's not like a ballad, it's no very it does grab you right away. Oh no, yeah, it got it, get it doing those lyrics got my attention because you want to keep your listening. And they're like saying some things and you're like, uh-huh, it's like t, each sentence or each lyric part is like a teaser. So I'm like, okay, and and you're like uh-huh, and and the way the uh, every, the subtle changes in the subtle movement of the music it really does, it lulls you in. It, sort of. You're like, oh, I want to keep listening. And then, yeah, you catch snippets of what they're saying. You're like what, exactly? Like what? Excuse me, you want what? You know what? I want what, what, but do you want me to tell you what? So, oh, geez, I like that. And their voice is very distinct from each other but they blend very well. Yes, some of those vocal guys got some good little notes going on. Good vocals on these guys, definitely good vocals on these guys. And ooh jeez, ooh, ooh, yeah, definitely a group to keep an eye on. I'll say, yeah, I have a fave now so far. So let's see, please do not disappoint. Let's see if they drop anything. Um, no, they only have that song on different remix too. Oh, there's a different remix too. Oh, oh, I wouldn't. Should we just check that out real quick and see what, if we can spot the difference? Okay, so we have.

Speaker 1

Let me go into the ep. So the ep is just only that one song, and of course, that was the original that we just heard. There is a instrumental, there is an 88 Techno remix by DXP and then a Dark House remix DXP, by DXP, which, oh dang, that's tough, because I mean, you know we love our 808s, you know we know our 808. We love our 808. You know, like, okay, we love our Techno Dark House though. Yeah, that's All right, let's check out the dark. And it's the actual, the fourth, the last song of this ep. So we're gonna catch that one right now. Let's see how that is. We already know the lyrics.

Speaker 1

So, oh, remember, you're talking about the dancing. I think this one's like geez, oh, listen to that. Wow, that under rumble. Oh, yes, okay, so this one's gonna get you there. This is the club. Yeah, uh.

Speaker 1

Oh, the vocals mix is that's even hotter. I got goosebumps. I did too. That like gave me chills. Wow, oh, let your body move. Yeah, they knew what they were doing with this. Yeah, this mix is hot. Now, this is more intense, for sure, than the original.

Speaker 1

This is definitely the Dark House Club mix. Yeah, I can see us back in the day. Oh yeah, drop, boom, boom, boom. Oh, you knew that bass was coming. Oh yeah, drop, hey, oh, you knew that bass was coming. Oh, yeah, we love our bass. Oh my God, what. This is insane.

Speaker 1

Oh yeah, I want to go to the club now and play this. You're going to be playing this in your car. I know, just be careful when you go home driving. Don't get too. It is, it's perfect driving music. Awesome, they keep sampling that bit. I'm a BO. Oh yeah, made your body move. Oh, listen to that. That build up. Yeah, this is so good.

Speaker 1

Whoever mixed this? This is incredible. The xp okay, this was the dxp. He did both. Oh, he did both. Yeah, they're both she or he. We don't know who the. Okay, who is Dxp? I'm thinking it's a male, because usually you know.

Speaker 1

So, yeah, you're not hearing as many of the lyrics to the song with this, but they're working. What they are using this is Wow, this is hot. Oh, yeah, yeah, this, this is hot, oh yeah, this is where we're sharing a brain. We have been saying this same exact things at the same points. Wow, yes, that was so good. You want to listen to the techno one?

Speaker 1

Now this episode will be all about the oh, my god, you know, technically, the boys didn't have anything to do with the remix part, but yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, but it's still wow, wow, it's still hot. That was so hot. I, I mean it, please. The song was hot at the beginning with the original, this dance, the dark house, geez, all right. So all right, we're gonna listen to the 88 techno remix, because now we gotta know. Yeah, yeah, let's compare. They've piqued our curiosity with this. Oh, oh, okay, you know what this actually reminds me of? Mm Is like DPR, arctic, yeah, and Ian, ooh, yeah, the way this music sounds. Yeah, wow, oh, this is more dramatic than the other one. Yeah, totally, oh, oh, we have the boys actually may sing this one, or they'll have their lyrics.

Speaker 1

Well, I think these vocals are specifically for this mix. Yeah, oh, darth Vader. Oh, that was Darth Vader. Wait, listen to this part. Oh my God, this is another intense club mix. Wow, oh yeah, hey, wow, oh yeah, hey, wow. This is awesome. There's definitely more vocal going on with this mix. It goes very well with this mix. Yeah, it does.

Musical Analysis and Fan Connection

Speaker 1

Like I said, I feel like they might have actually sang these vocals a little different for this mix. Oh, this is down and dirty. I don't know which one I like better. It's like night and day. Yeah, you can't just just they're too different, but they're both awesome, absolutely so. Not only is the original really good, these remixes are incredible. It's hard, it's so good. Like I think if they're going to do it live, they should actually use this remix to do their vocals too. Wow, because that's like that was so. Oh my God, they're both so good, though, I know, right, and it's the same lyrics.

Speaker 1

Different mood on each song, yeah, but like, wow, the energy on those. Yes, holy moly, yes, and it maintains that sexiness, even though it's that like dark house beat, like it's still sultry. Yeah, you still feel like, oh, I'm like in a trans and like, oh my god, yeah, no, it's wow. Oh, geez. All right, definitely gotta check those guys out. Oh, everybody, like, check this ep out. This ex love X, love, I'm a B, this, this EP, I there's.

Speaker 1

Wow, we haven't listened to the number two. Okay, we're reviewing one song for a different song. Okay, nevermind, I'm dropping, I'm listening Cause I want to see like this one sounds similar to the original original. Yeah, or is it just only um? Is this an instrumental, though it says backing track? Oh, yeah, this is instrumental.

Speaker 1

Okay, so this is where you can uh, sort of analyze the, the sound in the music. Right, very interesting, a bit more mellow Sounds, more sinister, without the voices, right, yeah, it was already a little dark sounding, right, but this is, yeah, I think, without the vocals. It's sort of more like you're on the edge, yeah, what's happening, a bit edgy, oh, that's really. Oh, my God, that makes it so different. Those are the. Yeah, they're sort of like, uh, chanting background with a little going on.

Speaker 1

This track will be great for like a group dance, you know, like modern art, you know that modern dance it's so weird thinking about, right, because there's some sort of random sounds Clock ticking, yeah, clapping. There was that weird ting, yeah, like, if you're playing some notes backwards. I'm trying to figure out what's being said there, think it's just, maybe i'ma be backwards, oh, or, you know, because I think there's some parts here that are played backwards well, because it's so rumbly and uh, distorted oh, that bass, but still very dark, geez, wow, that's a different mood there. Yeah, absolutely it was cool though, but yeah, all right. So we just wow, we just went through the whole x love, the whole ep of um, x love, i'ma be, and it's like each song has a different mood, but they're all good. Even this dark one was kind of like it, but it's like, hmm, you will find there will be a mood that you're like, you know what this song is good right now.

Speaker 1

This song's good right now. You know, yeah, yeah, oh, wow. Well, damn, I'm blown. This is really good. It is. Oh, my goodness, I wish the boys good luck. Oh, you know, let's see what happens. Uh, well, it's definitely making me anticipate the uh album coming out. Whatever they do next, I'm looking forward to it. You know, see what kind of uh vibe they got going on, how diverse they are. Yeah, yes, yes, but this is very promising, very promising it is. This is pretty high bar, yeah, if, yeah, at least for me and I'm sarah too right, yeah, yeah, that's so.

Speaker 1

Um, I know we talked about, we mentioned that got seven drop a new song. Uh, so we're gonna talk about that one. Apparently there is I don't know if it is an album or an ep that they just drop. Uh, winter heptagon is the name of the album. There's nine songs in here. Let me see, oh wow, dropped on monday the 20th, fairly recently.

Speaker 1

Yeah, so the single for this one is python. Excuse me, well, you know now is this this is actually all of them back together. Right, oh, yeah, it's got seven. Yeah, because I, I know the sometime a few months ago they said something about tour, they're coming back for a tour, yeah, so, okay, well, that's that's why I was. I wanted to make sure, because I remember the, the talks about them all being back together to work and and do stuff. But you know, I know everybody's rumors about other groups too, so I know. But yeah, because everybody's doing their own thing right now.

Speaker 1

So you wanna yes, we go for that one want to listen to python? Yeah, okay, yeah, I'm gonna listen to got sevens, python, python, subtle opening. No, when you, when you, when you hear bam, bam, or you hear. When I hear bam bam or jackson, I'm like it's just, oh, that just. It just feels so good it does Got to hold on me like a python. Omg, she ain't letting go. But you know, a python strangles you though. Yeah, they do not let up. This is no.

Speaker 1

I know I'm an icon. Watch me with the lights on. Feeling swept under the rug. Is that what he said? Maybe he was fast jackson. Seven golden rings, seven members, watch me with the lights on. Is that what it said? I know I'm an icon, but watch me with the lights on. Yeah, the stage. I'm just saying maybe they're on stage. Yeah, yeah, no, I know what you're saying. I'm just saying maybe they're on stage. Yeah, yeah, no, I know what you're saying.

Speaker 1

I'm just trying to piece together the words. It's weird. It's sort of like dreamy, but a little dark and a little sultry, sort of all at once. I was like I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling. What am I feeling? Because there's sort of so many things happening and you're like I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be feeling. Like, what am I feeling? Because there's sort of so many things happening and you're like, oh, and then some of the lyrics yeah, you're like there's mixed messages, like I like you but you're suffocating me. And it's okay to like me, but I don't know.

Speaker 1

Well, and like you were saying so, if they're talking about I'm an icon, watch me with the lights on, yeah, being a show, but then saying you've got to hold on me like a python, like you know, are they just saying the the power of the fans is, is that strong, restricting? You know, like, exactly because it is when they hold on you, they suffocate you to death. Every time you breathe out, they squeeze. It just feels like, is it a diss or not? It's just, I don't know, for me, only feel. For me, it feels just like are you dissing us in a nice sultry way, but you know, like I don't know, it could just be the intensity of it. You know like this is so much it's it can be suffocating, right, so it's so, or okay. Or they like, see, this is so many mixed feelings here, right, because, like I said, it could be, uh, a diss or not. Or it could be like your fans, their love, are so strong. You know, it just does feel like a python. Or we're like, yeah, you're just, yeah, you're wrapping around, consuming us. We feel your power. Yeah, oh, my God, again, sharing a brain today. We're definitely sharing a brain today. We're definitely sharing a brain today, you know, and well, because also think about Jackson had been doing some solo stuff.

Speaker 1

Bam Bam had been doing some solo stuff. Yeah, and both of them. I don't know if JB have it. I don't know about JB. Did he drop some? Well, you know, I don't know. Did he do some?

Speaker 1

Yeah, I've been following more bam bam and jackson, two of my faves. Well, and jackson was mostly doing sort of like, just no, he was all over the place. He was in the us. He's been, you know. Oh, when he did his solo tour, yeah, he's more visual, he, yeah, yeah, yeah, more the most like internationally, you know, doing a lot of fashion shows, definitely so, and just being out and being seen, yeah, so, but so, like, with them all getting back together to work on this project, like maybe they were talking about how intense, maybe that's why they all needed to take a little break, go do their own little thing for a while, because, like, everybody just grabbing them and holding them and constricting them, and we love you, but you're stifling, yeah, like I don't know, it's because, because a python's not comforting, that's not a comforting hold.

Speaker 1

I mean, the ending is like okay, I'm checking the lyrics, this is the last lyric, but she got a hold on me like a python. Now they're saying she. Well, I thought I heard them say she before, but I wasn't sure. So maybe they uh, romance troubles someone. You know, you can care about them and love them, but they can be stifling and all-consuming. You know, so interesting, but yes, it was like I said, there was that sultriness but a little dark side to it. Both of these songs have been sultry. Oh, yeah, I'm getting ready for valentine's day, that could be, but they're not hyper club intense music, except for those remixes from x love, oh. But both of these songs, yeah, they're more on the the mellow side, but they still.

Speaker 1

I like the sound, that, yeah, and the undulations and the like smoothness and not the intense and or like you know, yeah, yeah, no, it's very, a very laid back, but it does still, it gets you moving a little. You're like, oh yeah, you know what is so funny. Okay, so we're very into the astro, when you know, when we like our astrologies and whatever. What is the year for 2025. What is the zodiac animal? It's a snake. And then god seven drops his python yeah, oh, interesting, right, and the music being like kind of does sound like snake, like very smooth and like dark and like, yeah, that, what serpentine? Yeah, movement, yeah, because even the mb is very, you know, undulated and like, yeah, wavy, and hey, everybody feel watch out for them snakes. Though I didn't want to say Watch out for the snakes, everybody feeling their snake.

Speaker 1

No, sarah said it, not me. Sarah said it not me Because I know I tend to say things that are just not right. Well, I wasn't, I was stopping myself from saying it, but you did say it anyway. I got to say it. I got to say it. It's too funny, I gotta say it. She's gonna go for it. I'm saying it. Getting their snake on. How's that? What, lord, have mercy.

Speaker 1

You won't put explicit content on this woman, because man, exactly, with explicit content on this woman, because man, exactly, two in a row that were like All right, some water, water, please, some water. Blake Songs are making you thirsty. Oh, my God, I'll sing Jeez. Hey, valentine's Day is coming. I don't know what else to say For those who stay together still in Christmas time for those who are in Japan.

Speaker 1

This is some sexy music, like what it is. Yeah, huh, okay, let's go for something else. Oh, okay, this one will be. It's not sexy. Well, I hope it's not sexy. Well, I hope it's not sexy. Well, the group is. I don't think they have dropped any sexy music.

Speaker 1

The name of the group is a duo from Japan, rap duo, creepy Nuts. Oh yeah, yeah, okay. So they dropped a new song called Doppler Ganger. Oh, okay, so I think it will be funny, probably. Okay, let's do that one. Well, it's, it's hard to say. It's hard to say because your doppelganger is not always good. Yeah, if you meet your doppelganger, I guess it could be funny. All right, let's see, we'll see. So we're gonna go with creepy nuts. Uh, doppelganger.

Speaker 1

Little sinister laugh at the beginning, somebody laughing. Oh, it just went right through it, right into the. This is straight out rap. This is just like thumping bass man. What's with the guy in the background? Hey, mazui, something's not good. I really I love all those little background sounds. I know, yeah, hey, the little back. Then you're like it's like little pieces of spices, you know, throwing at you. It is funny.

Speaker 1

Well, everybody right there all sort of doing different things. Right, that was crazy. The brother, hey, I do, yeah, I do, like the sprinkle of voices, yeah, different noises with the song. Oh, this is the break. I guess we, we kind of dance and we'd be just like, hey, okay, that's crazy, it's funny though, oh, oh, okay, that's it. That's like. What a weird, like random it is. It's creepy nuts it's. They do that, they they're.

Speaker 1

This duo is just funny. But yeah, no, their music is very unique, but they're very popular. They got popular in the us for um intro for anime. I forgot the name of the anime, but uh, that song kind of, I want to say, catapult them more for the international fans just because of the anime. But uh, yeah, no, they're fun.

Speaker 1

That was funny, just like, right, there's, the only dancing I was doing was just rocking my head back and forth, yeah, yeah, like uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh. That's all I did. Oh, my god, I wonder if somebody will do a remix, if they do a remix of that song. But no, no, well, you know what and you know what. It was really odd.

Speaker 1

It made me think of, like, do you remember that movie, run Lola, run, yes, that the beat? That was very much the same type of thing, like someone running, just going and going and going oh my God, run Lola Run, that's an awesome movie, right. And going and going oh my god, run a lot of run that's an awesome movie, right, and the music was amazing, right. But this had the same sort like it had a vibe just keep going and and I saw someone sort of like running and just being like dun dun dun, dun, dun, dun, dun dun, I don't know that was. It was weird.

Speaker 1

That popped into my head when I was listening to it. I'm like, oh my god, so the song. I want to say, yeah, okay, the cat up that last year bling, bang, bang, born, okay, it was like all over tiktok and instagram and everybody was doing the dance. It was like, yeah, that was the. It's a cool song, though, but uh, it's creepy nuts. You know they. They're definitely a unique duo, definitely unique sound, fun and funny. You know something to just. You want something quirky. They're your group. Yeah, they're your duo. They're, yeah, definitely, check out their. You, I know I like them. I would love to see them live. Oh, no, absolutely, it was so fun. I just I really am curious, like what the whole song means like, yeah, the whole, what everything was the lyrics? Yes, that will be so.

Speaker 1

Last but not least, I was telling sarah if, if there was a fan club just dedicated to this, this jump member, this artist, our, our, uh membership would have been revoked now. But then sarah said, no, we didn't mention it while we were doing the jump party, but we just haven't had the chance to talk about it. Well, it's just because we were focusing on the group and their event. So we mentioned at the end that this member had a solo and it was good because we have heard it and I included it in the show notes so people could check it out if they wanted. But now we're gonna talk about it. Yes, because I was like, oh, my god, I forgot about yam yam. As you know, mr uh, ryosuke yamada have a solo song called switch and it's a very good song. Yes, we have heard it before, but, uh, we have not dedicated or we're talking about it in our music episode, right, so we're gonna take this opportunity to talk about it. Mr Yam Yam song Switch. Mr Yam Yam Sad violin but doesn't start. Oh geez, wow, he's got a voice. Oh my God, a little pickup, because it was very sultry there at the beginning. Another sultry song it's Yam Yam. Oh, an attitude there. So this Another sultry song it's Yam Yam. I want an attitude there. So this is a little more dance dance. Nobody can hold him back. Talk to me in English, yam Yam, he's got a good range in this, he does. He's doing a little falsetto, a little deep voice. Nobody can hold me back. Of course she says that low yeah, oh, dance break. I wanna see this live. Yeah, ooh, that bass.

Speaker 1

Why do I picture him just spotlight, just doing his thing. Woo, oh my god, yes, on a little bit of body, like jolt movements, please. He can just stand there looking jellic and I'll be like, oh my god, yeah, yeah, switch, love the production for this song. Yeah, this is really good. I mean it. Just it switches, ha ha, yeah, just moving through so many different sounds and then like it's slow and sexy and then it's fast and, like you know, energetic, and I don't.

Speaker 1

He's like, yeah, I love his voice too. Oh my God, his voice on this. He, he is like everywhere with it. He's totally just showing off his range. It's awesome. Definitely, on voice you can hear the sultriness, then you can hear like an attitude, then you can hear something more like stern type. I'm like, oh my God, look at all the sides of him. He's switching Definitely. Yes, that is a move. Your body song too water, wow, yeah, oh, everybody knows we love our yam yam. This was, but, wow, oh, yam yam, that was like just so much sound, not just musically, but vocally, from him. I'm, wow, blown away, yes, blown away. I've currently.

Puerto rico, yeah, drain me and I'm like, oh, my god, god, there's too much going on. Plus, I know I have been dedicating my ears a lot to Bad Bunny. Benito has been my number one in my heart, in my ears, since that album dropped. Yeah, like he got my feels, but anyways, I can talk about that another time. Anyways, so until next time. Yes, bye-bye, johnny. Everything doesn't have to be technical. No, a lot of people really just like hearing how we feel about the music, how we envision it. Go off the rails, the way we lose our minds sometimes. Yes, what was that? You heard it too? Yeah, okay.
