From Chameleon to Hustler: A STARTO Musical Journey

Have you ever been completely blindsided by an artist who suddenly reveals a side you never knew existed? That's exactly what happened when we dove into five different STARTO artists that took us on an unexpected musical journey.
Our exploration began with Ae! group's "Chameleon," a jazz-infused track with groovy bass lines and brass elements that had us immediately moving. From impressive guitar solos to saxophone flourishes, this track showcased Ae! group's potential as a pure band rather than just performers.
SixTONES' "Barrier" hit us with raspy vocals and aggressive delivery, blending genres from jazz to rap to rock. The forceful punctuation in lines like "You are my girl" creates their distinctive sound, while Kento Nakajima's "Just Kenty" brought pure joy with its bubbly electronic dance beat and retro 80s disco influences. His sweet vocals promising to "share his time" perfectly capture his genuine, accessible persona.
WEST's "AHO" took chaos to new heights, transitioning through surf rock, big band sounds, Latin salsa, reggae, and rock ballad elements—all within a single song. This wild blend perfectly encapsulates their Kansai-style humor and creativity, demonstrating why the group works so well together.
The biggest surprise came from Ryosuke Yamada. His tracks "RED," "VELVET," and "HUSTLER" left us speechless, revealing a mature, sultry side that contrasts sharply with his typically cute image. "Hustler" particularly impressed us with its swagger as Yamada declared, "I'm a hustler" and "Get to be a legend"—statements that seem increasingly believable given the quality of his work.
These songs demonstrate STARTO's commitment to nurturing versatile artists who can explore different musical territories while maintaining their unique identities. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to Japanese music, these tracks offer something fresh and exciting. Subscribe, rate, and review to support and join our musical journey!

Welcome to Music Elixir
Speaker 1Hello everybody, welcome to another episode of Music Elixir, with me Sarah and Miss DJ Panic. I haven't given you a fanfare in a while, I know.
Speaker 2It's been a while, do you think we're going to be back to our usual role? I don't know. I guess it all depends day by day, depending on the time of recording Exactly. So we're doing music today. We're going to talk about music?
Speaker 1Yes, we are. Yeah, some singles. We're not doing one particular group, we're doing a few different artists.
Speaker 2Five artists, but from the same company.
Speaker 1Yes.
A-Group's "Chameleon" Jazz Adventure
Speaker 2So we're going by request. So these five artists or five groups actually two of them are solo- I was going to say yeah. Two solo, three groups Right Are from Starto as a request by popular demand. We're going to be doing that for a few that have come out with like new singles and whatever, and that's just to you know. Like I said, by popular demand. Um, so I guess we're gonna just go by, I'm gonna say who it is, or we we just going to introduce, like how we do.
Speaker 1We can just introduce as we go. I mean, because a few of these songs are actually they've been out for a little while. We had talked about talking about them. We just were never able to because, as everyone knows, we had life situations.
Speaker 1We're adulting, things happen unexpectedly well, we, because we were just talking about it, like what order we were going to do these in, and I was like, well, this one's fairly new and panic's, like uh, no, that one came out in april. I was like what? But we were, I feel like we were just saying, oh yeah, it just, it just came out, let's talk about it. Not really, no, no.
Speaker 2We're a little behind, but they're still worth talking about. Yeah, yeah. So actually, let's just start, let's begin.
Speaker 1All right, all right. I already forgot who we were going to start with, so it'll be a surprise.
Speaker 2So this band is from kansai, of course okay, yeah they're fairly new. They viewed it. Of course, with that being said, it's gonna be a group. They came out with a song called chameleon. Of course, only on youtube you can listen and stream this. Uh, the group is not available worldwide with, uh, with streaming platforms, of course, uh, we're hoping that, uh, any kansai besides, because naniwadanshi, uh, let's see naniwadanshi, super eight, super eight. Who else is from kansai that is on a streaming service? Oh, the, the kamigata Boys project.
Speaker 1Oh, okay, there's a few songs in there.
Speaker 2But we hope that there's more groups from Kansai to be available. So, that being said, we're going to be listening to A-Group's Chameleon.
Speaker 1Sort of an old radio sound there at the beginning lots of brass, jazzy snazzy I like the piano.
Speaker 2There's an audience in this track, you know, applauding and laughing out there oh yeah, well, because it's a video, right right because we're bought not watching, we're listening through youtube, right?
Speaker 1I wonder?
Speaker 2if that's gonna be also part of the song. The audience in the background oh, yeah, that I don't know you know, because you know we're just well. That's interesting. This name of the song is chameleon, and when you aren't an artist, you have to be a chameleon right, yeah, you know, you have different personas when you're acting or being on stage. Definitely that's what they do like every don't.
Speaker 1They change like 20 times, yeah, exactly well I was gonna say, like are they talking? Is this talking about having to be a chameleon Right and blend into your background and fit in, or are you a chameleon trying to hide behind?
Speaker 2Either that or you need to adapt of the situation.
Speaker 1Right, yeah, that's sort of what I was saying and they're similar ideas, but like one's sort of more to get away from things and one's sort of to be a part of things. So it's very, it's interesting.
Speaker 2But on this song it's kind of like a chameleon. There are changes of tempo and changes of beat. Also the tone on the guys Very upbeat song.
Speaker 1Yeah, it is, it's very.
Speaker 2We're bopping our heads to it. This is that groovy the bass. Ah, Whoever's slapping that bass kudos to you Someone holding that note.
Speaker 1This is really high energy.
Speaker 2Guitar solo. Hey Ooh, a saxophone. I hope that that is my. Richard doing the sax, that would be amazing. Even the bass there was really nice. Hey, the guitar going off.
Speaker 1Wow, that was quite a build up. Crescendo with the piano flourish, and then they just their voices jazzing it up.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I love that voice.
Speaker 2That's going to be your little guy.
Speaker 1Yeah, it is. Oh yeah, I love that voice. That's gonna be your little guy. Yeah, it is sort of like shout singing in the background. That's what he does.
Speaker 2I love it he seems to be the powerhouse of the group. Your little guy, your little guy. You love your little guys. You love your little guys.
Speaker 1I do.
Speaker 2It's getting to be an explosive ending, but then it slows down. Oh, that was a yeah, it's like that was awesome yeah.
Speaker 1Again with the whole sort of everything's frantic. And then just that nice, smooth, low, rich tone, oh, singing chameleon. I that nice, smooth, low, rich tone Singing chameleon, that's like such a good song. Oh, wow, you know, I couldn't stop moving. I saw, neither Could you.
Speaker 2Yeah, I was bopping to it. I love this, I love this group when they do songs like this. After seeing that live, that concert that we talked about for their debut, I know Sarto likes to do the whole acting and there's a whole production to it you know, oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2But I was always hoping to have just a band, just a band group, not with their little acting whatever and I know, know, it's cancer. They like to do the the funny part and whatever and that's part of the culture or in that region. But I'm just hoping for a band. I'm hoping that start to does just a band.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's been a while, just a band.
STONES' "Barrier" Sharp Delivery
Speaker 2No, not all this, just a band. I'm just putting it out there in the universe, I'm sure they did a long time ago, I'm sure. Well, you know what they need to bring that back because I'm I'm sure they can really pull a lot of fans just with the band. Yeah, definitely, I mean you can still have your acting and whatever, but just don't incorporate it in the shows, just the band.
Speaker 1Well, because that's what was good about the concert, though that they did is, at the end they did all come out with instruments and they just sort of rocked out for a little while and it was awesome. It was really cool to see and the fans went crazy for it. So this should, yeah, definitely be an indication that people would enjoy it.
Speaker 2They would accept it exactly but that's what you've been seeing for all the kansai groups. Super eight does that west, does that not?
Speaker 1naniwa danji, they, they just only do the dance, just the dancing, and singing and and you singing and the funny skits and whatnot. Well, even Super 8, it took them a while to be able to like they could all play and stuff, but they didn't always get to do that. So that's a fairly newer kind of performance with them.
Speaker 2We need a startle band.
Speaker 1A startle band, newer kind of performance with them. Yeah, we need a start to a band, a start, you know, but yes, definitely band. Because, like I said, the the stuff they did at the end of the concert was it was fun, it was energy, they looked like they were enjoying themselves. Oh yeah, you know what I mean. So it definitely. I think it would be received well yes, yes, so we need a ban.
Speaker 2We need to start the ban Again. I'm just putting it out there for the universe. Anyways, we're going to then head along with a six-member group. They're not from Kansai, they're from different parts of the region, kansai different, different parts of the region. They have been well, well, well received since their debut with another group back in 2020 and, with that being said, we're going to talk about stones barrier. I know that song came out a few months ago, but now the group is on streaming service, so we are just we're going to discuss the most recent that came out on the stream under streaming service, so everybody can actually listen to it, and check it out you know we'll put links on the show notes so you can go ahead and go there.
Speaker 2Uh, the link of the show notes will take you straight to their account right, yeah, the spotify, it'll take you right to that song, so you can listen to all their songs that they have out there now without looking at a video, and you can make your own playlist. Yes, so, um, are you ready, miss sierra? Yes, I am.
Speaker 1I'm gonna go listen right now starting out right away with the na-na-nas yeah and yeah, yeah, yes, yeah, awesome band. No, definitely the. The music, another sort of jazzy one, oh yeah, but also a little bit of funk, if you hear the way that bass is going, the brass another like flashy guys voices are not with the melodic, they're a little more raspy.
Speaker 2Even Tyga, which is the most melodic voice in the group, he's a bit more raspy with his voice. Their deliveries are a bit more sharp, a bit aggressive. I'd say, yeah, a little rougher. Yeah.
Speaker 1Like I'm going to give you my love. Yeah, you are my girl, my love. Back into the na-na-na, the na-na-na. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes.
Speaker 2That's what the fans can sing with them of course. No, tyga, this is Hokuto Yore, hey, hey, I always enjoy Yuri's rap. Always enjoy his rap.
Speaker 1Yeah, I was going to say it's a very interesting sort of little rock rap going on, and then this, this guitar solo is kudos to you. Yeah, I was going to say this is like guitar riff going on here. I love it. Somebody in the background hyping up Woo, woo, woo. Hey, I still find it. I'll give you what you want. Won't make you cry anymore.
Speaker 2Yeah, what were you doing before boo? Yeah, tantalizing, yeah, getting sultry over here. Yeah, what were you doing before boo?
Speaker 1I'm, yeah, tantalizing, yeah, getting a sultry over here well, it's part of the being sweet, so that you don't cry anymore, right but then you get the nana in the background like are you being sweet or are you just tantalizing me?
Speaker 2well, it's sort of like a wah, wah, wah.
Speaker 1It's a weird sort of it wasn't quite a na-na she's crying Wah, wah, wah. The way they're so like I don't know it's sort of forceful. Like you know, you are my girl Like it's very accentuated.
Speaker 2Are they frustrated with the hair? You know you're my girl? Like it's very accentuated with the hair you know you're my girl, why are you? Crying, but like well, you're so rough the the way they punctuate each word.
Speaker 2You know, you are my girl I don't know, you can be sweet about that Girl, I like that. Well, it's just, this person is hysterical and not listening, oh my God. Anyways, that was it. That was Barrier, you know. What do you guys think? What do you guys really think of the song? You know, also with a group, when you go check it out. What do you think of this? What do you guys really think of the song? Also with a group, when you go check it out, what do you think of this? Just something completely different. Well, completely different.
Speaker 1But also like a lot of elements that are similar, though, like that jazzy brass going on, but then, yeah, I don't know, there's so much. There's always so much going on with sto groups like, well, I shouldn't say always, but a lot of times they just throw in 20 different genres for you to sort through as you're listening. You're like wait, is this a jazz? No, this is a marching band. No, this is a rap. Wait a minute. Yeah, it just changed to a rock ballad. I don't know what I'm listening to.
Speaker 2They just want to make it unique to their group, you know. So people can just go for that.
Speaker 1But it always works. That's the crazy thing is, you don't feel like it's just a jumble of stuff. It's a coherent, cohesive song and you enjoy it all the way through. But it's just so crazy, like all of the sounds they throw at you. That's what's great about listening to them, though you pick out all the different things you know. Definitely it's that one. It's fun. It's sort of not really what I'm used to from stones right you know what mean.
Speaker 1It's a little different for them, right? So I'm sort of like huh, interesting Especially the na na, na na na.
Speaker 2So yeah.
Speaker 1All right.
Speaker 2Moving on to the next song. Yes, all right, the next song, of course, by my little scream right there. We're going to talk about Kenty Kenty Okay, I didn't pick a song, that is. There's a song that he has in his new album. It's called Just Kenty.
Speaker 1But we're not going to be talking about that one.
Speaker 2We're going to talk about Montage, which is the single for this album, and the name of the album is also Montage. So also just to let you know that Kenty's real name is Kento Nakajima, but I'm just very happy that he has a song called Just Kenty. So he's validating me when I just say we're talking about kenty. He's like I'm I love that song, but no, yeah, um well, we could change it if you want to.
Speaker 1Huh, okay, wow, that was like no hesitation I haven't.
Speaker 2I don't think.
Speaker 1I've heard that one though.
Speaker 2No, oh, it's so cute. I just love it Because it's Kenty.
"Just Kenty" Brings Bubbly Energy
Speaker 1Well, that's okay, because then maybe this will be, because I think it wasn't montage, it was for a show, right?
Speaker 2For one of his many projects.
Speaker 1yes, yeah, so just Kenty is really like just him right being fun, so we can do that and that way it'll be.
Speaker 2We won't have to. Are we changing it for montage, jess?
Speaker 1Kenty, but check out montage. It is a good song.
Speaker 2Check out the EP. Yeah, I think it's an EP or an album. Let me see, oh, five songs. So it's an EP, ep. Yeah, okay, okay. So Look at me.
Speaker 1I can't see. You know, give panic an inch and she'll just boom. I'm like, well, we could do that.
Speaker 2Okay, you will not be disappointed. It's just candy.
Speaker 1It's just candy.
Speaker 2It was like a millisecond for you to be like okay, all right, are you ready? I'm ready all right, here we go right off the bat just k In all electronica dance. I know I heard this one many times, so I'm just going to have you do most of the talking, because I think you haven't heard this, but go ahead.
Speaker 1This is one of those all week.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, just Kenty, it's going to be 100% Kenty all week I love that he's like just want to be a lover like what. You're my son, kenty. You're my son, not my lover.
Speaker 1You're my, my son well, they say in dance, dance, and he's kenty 100. Well, I looked real quick. I know he had a hand in writing this so of course he has to. Oh listen, that's cool yes it's definitely, yeah, very retro 80s disco music going on. It's such a happy making song.
Speaker 2It is like I'm smiling, I'm just it's very bubbly, dance, dance, oh, oh.
Speaker 1He wants to share his time. I know that's very sweet. Oh, his voice is so sweet.
Speaker 2Yes, kenty, sing it, kenty, kenty, 100%.
Speaker 1Kenty, kenty, 100%, oh yeah. Well, it's all him and he's all genuine and just wants to be there with you, share himself in the sense of you know.
Speaker 2Just Kenty.
Speaker 1Being accessible to the people, yeah.
Speaker 2Just Kenty. So, I'm looking at the title, Just Kenty Star.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2So my Kenty, yes, he wants to be my Kenty, he wants to be everybody's Kenty. I know he's saying just lover, but no, for him, he's my son, he will be my son. He can love me like a mama. I always will love him as a son. He is just, he's just Kenty. Oh, my God, this is so sweet, so bubbly, so energetic. Oh, complete positive vibes. Come on.
Speaker 1Well, it's so funny because he's, you know, 30 ish now and like it's just such a youthful, joyous, happy sounding like just can't think could see dancing around in little you the shorts with the suspenders and being like I'm just Kenty, so cute it is, it's adorable.
Speaker 2If there was just Kenty anime, definitely this is the theme song for that anime. Come on, Kenty. Absolutely I'm giving you some ideas. The Kenty anime oh my God, can you see this? The Adventures of Kenty, oh my God, yes, his superpower will be his music, his voice. Oh my God, I'm sure there's billions of animes that kind of like that, but not just with Kenty. So there should be anybody called just Kenty star, kenty, kenty, I know you like anime, I mean just being in the past, you know, like the highlight it was very heavily.
Speaker 2They actually work with an animation company for the video and whatnot. I remember. So come on, kenty Kenty, company for the video and whatnot. I remember. So come on, kenty kenty. Come on, I know. Well, please think about this. It will be another thing of your projects, you know, doesn't have to be a long series, maybe 10 episodes or well, or even just like a special kenty the animated, you know production. Oh, I know we're film.
Speaker 1That'll be nice yes, you know a one shot, but have some fun with it. You know, oh my god, your villain will be fuma now.
Speaker 2Speaking of fuma, I would love to see his reaction to just kissing. Oh my gosh Like the sass, the sass of this boy, Because you know the Fuma can.
Speaker 1Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2That will never end. We love the Fuma can, and then where they both together, they either work well or they just get at each other's you know, yeah, their dynamic was something else. So, yeah, you, oh, I'm sure love it. Fuma would definitely be like, yeah, whatever, just can't like, I'm sure yes, he will be in, he will be proud, but he said he won't be like whatever dude jeez. That's why you left. I'm sure, yes, he will be proud, but inside of him he'll be like whatever dude Jeez. That's why you left.
Speaker 1But oh my God.
Speaker 2Yes, so yeah, just Kendi.
Speaker 1Yeah, no, that one's so much fun?
Speaker 2Definitely Not that montage is not. Montage is a different side of Kendi.
Speaker 1Yeah, well, it's a more serious song.
WEST's Chaotic "Audio Hangout"
Speaker 2Right for sure. Yeah, for one of his many projects, but just candy, oh my god. It gets in your heart, it warms you up, but with me up, gives me all rosy cheeks and be like I love you. Okay, moving on. We have two more songs yes, we do all right, let me get ready for that one. I let go of the list, all right, so we're back to kansai. Um, actually this song came out also, I want to say a month ago or so yeah this, uh, this group, uh, I'm hoping that they'll also be on streaming service.
Speaker 2They've been around for quite some time. We're going to talk about west. We actually dedicated a west episode, which I want to say thank you to the fans. They keep listening to it. I know I mean, this is when they were called johnny's west in that episode. This john Johnny's West is your wingman.
Speaker 1Yeah, that was the first one, because we did more than one for them.
Speaker 2Yes.
Speaker 1But everybody loves your wingman. For some reason, everybody goes to that one. Well, you know, I think, though, yeah, we really enjoyed those songs. That was definitely not that we didn't enjoy the other ones for the episode, but there was something about the freshness of it for us.
Speaker 2When we were talking about it, we were like jazzed, and you know we talked about oh, those were songs picked by the fans back then, yeah, so so that's why you know fans are like we pick these, pick these, and you know we talk about them and they still listen to it, okay. So, thank you, I mean we appreciate you too. Wow, it's been four years yeah, well, what's that nine?
Speaker 1or five, it's been wow, I can't remember. I think maybe four, because we're going into our fifth year.
Speaker 2Right, wow, okay, yeah, so they came out. Of course, this song is only on YouTube. You can find it there. It's Ajo, but it's the acronym for Audio Hangout. All right, a-h-o Are you ready? I'm ready at the old hangout. That whole intro reminded me of uh british cab and that we like the what I can't remember the name of the group.
Speaker 1We went to see them in boston madness, yes, oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, well like, yeah, the service and I, like I know it starts with M, it is Madness.
Speaker 2Yes yes, this song is.
Speaker 1Madness, oh, it's definitely chaotic.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1But I love the beginning. That whole surf yeah Like surf rock. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2This group is going from surf.
Speaker 1Now we have big band going on right now.
Speaker 2Yeah, definitely well, it's not like I was saying before. Well, look at this like latino salsa.
Speaker 1Yeah, I was gonna say the latin sort of yeah, it's, look at it, this is this is what I was saying about. Like they throw 20 different genres at you and then, but it works Now they have low, like reggae.
Speaker 2Low bow, that was like low bow. What Are they listening to? Bad Bunny, is that? Oh, this bass.
Speaker 1This is definitely chaotic. Oh, and now they're going into the the slow, like rock ballad, just the snap the fingers. Oh, now we're gonna build up. Just the random sounds in the background this song is all over the place.
Speaker 1It is an audio hangout they're just taking on like to say oh like a journey around the world musically, with all the different sounds and styles that they're using which is why it would be an audio hangout. Yeah, gonna listen to all these different music, all these different sounds. I know, hang out and enjoy it all. And ending again on the sort of surf sound and somebody like low voice.
Speaker 2Leave it to Wes to be alone in place. Oh my goodness.
Speaker 1Leave it to West. That was so awesome.
Speaker 2To be a loaded place, To be the, you know, the most funny like with their banter and all the craziness that they do. That's West. That is West and they're all about.
Speaker 1Kansai.
Speaker 2Funny craziness. That's why we love them, you know, and wish that there could be uh streaming platforms as well. So, besides youtube, yeah, we'll see yeah, so we'll see what happens to them all right.
Speaker 1So if, if you just want like a cacophony of sounds coming at you, right, but in an organized, like I said, an enjoyable, organized way, like just so much fun and you can't help but move around to it, and I just like those randoms.
Speaker 2Hey, because they're all crazy, they're all.
Speaker 1I don't Because they're all crazy, they're all I don't know. They're all crazy, and every once in a while someone's just like la la, la, la la.
Speaker 2This is why this group works so well with each other.
Speaker 1I mean even when they're all together.
Speaker 2They're like for some reason, like know each other's minds and so if one starts with something, the rest follow, and then if one doesn't know something else, the rest follow. It's like wow, you guys are so in sync, you know.
Yamada's "Red" and Explosive Surprises
Speaker 1That's awesome oh my god, all right, that was so much fun.
Speaker 2Yes, so moving on to the last song.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2We're going to be leaving this for last, because this is for our dear Yam Yam. Yeah, Now, his album came out in April. Sarah's like no, it came out just like recently. I'm like no, ladies, it's been over a month.
Speaker 1Well, that's why I'm saying we've been talking about doing these songs and then stuff just kept happening. Yeah.
Speaker 2Yes, this is for the single red for his. I believe this is an ep yeah right yeah, called also red. Um or I can't. We can check on the song, but we can do red.
Speaker 1You can do red yeah, well, that's, I mean that's. Uh, we could always check out another one after you know, we've done that before where we just keep, okay, keep running with someone okay, ready for red.
Speaker 2Yes, I am all right, and again it's. Uh, we call him yam yam, but his name is ryusuke Yamada.
Speaker 1This is like a metered cadence boom he's marching in with his mind made up. Yeah, I was gonna say it's very much a forceful.
Speaker 2My mind is made up it's a fire show and of course it has the spanish guitar. Are you gonna flamenco for us, mr?
Speaker 1yeah, it's gonna. Oh, this is like semi-operatic, oh yeah very.
Speaker 2Look at you. What about the shushu? Like don't say anything. He just interrupted my. I know he's like shushis, listen to me. Jeez, of course. Okay, sorry, yam yam, that was so perfectly timed, right. It's like shushis, I'm singing.
Speaker 1I really like this beat the way the. Yeah, I don't know, it's almost like a horse gallop. Yeah, it's very, very striking. And then the marching band again yeah, yeah, oh, geez little growly fire he's on fire this is my moment, feels so right.
Speaker 2Yes, it is mr yam yam becoming someone? No one knows oh okay, mr yam yam, was that like a little whistle? Get your attention yeah, I'm gonna reserve this comment to the end because, oh wow, he has got such a great voice. Oh my god of course, just say all eyes on me. This song is all eyes on me yes, definitely, and then okay again it's like keep silencing us oh my goodness okay well, you know, um, we can have so many times.
Speaker 2We see, yeah, I mean, it's so cute, it's so cute and adorable. It's like I don't know something. I don't know, like this sexy vibe some, yeah, it can't get there. But I don't know like this sexy vibe some, yeah, it can't get there. But I don't, sometimes don't see it, you see it, I see, you see it.
Speaker 1So I don't know if that's a clap back to me, I do see the cute, but I do see him like bringing the steam, bringing the heat. I know it's my delulu head.
Speaker 2It's a clap back to me saying listen, lady, I'm not all kidness.
Speaker 1I am a man.
Speaker 2I can be strong and sexy and handsome, in which you are.
Speaker 1So he's like.
Speaker 2this is a completely different me. So you know, I am Yamada Heisei-chan and this is Yamada Mi.
Speaker 1Hey Well, you know. What's funny, though, is, even though this is Yamada Mi. Hey Well, you know. What's funny, though is, even though this is Yamada Mi, this song was partially written by Daiki Arioka of Heisei Jump. He's got writing credit, huh.
Speaker 2You take that to Yam Yam, so that's wow.
Speaker 1That is awesome. Yeah, I was, you know, had to check the credits and yam yam had help in producing, so they were very hands-on with his album. But wow, what is this song?
Speaker 2how many years in the business? Yes, do you get to learn how to produce, how to compose, hope you know and do your music, and we love this we love this for the group we love this for the band and we love this for mr yam yam, you know.
Speaker 1So, if you know, for the group, members are like well, you know, and it's so funny that something like because red it, he is red, he's the red member of the group, but as solo, he's still remaining red. He could be anything, but he's like no, I am red.
Speaker 2That song is red definitely yeah, wow, do you want to hear another snippet of another song? We could.
Speaker 1Yeah, we don't have to. Well, I mean, you know we're familiar with Switch because we talked about that. That came out as a single a while ago.
Speaker 2I'm just going to play a couple of seconds of each song. We're not going to like just going to be a first reaction. We're not going to like deep dive on, okay, well, I think we listened to Snow Moon also. Yes.
Speaker 1But we have not heard Bloomin' Nope, the first one, or Please, please, please. Oh, I'm curious about Velvet.
Speaker 2I'm curious about Hustler, about which one Hustler oh, which is right after Velvet?
Speaker 1yeah, velvet meropel play velvet first which whatever you would like oh, geez, whoa uh emergency no, that's not emergency what's, oh, oh oh, listen to that background music, the wow, the, the orchestration there, the violins, oh my god, I love this song and now the dance. Wow, wow. This is incredible.
Speaker 2Why didn't you have this as your single?
Speaker 1Oh whoa, Like I thought Red was awesome. Oh geez, Wow, yeah, tell me Yam Yam's cute again. Listen to this.
Speaker 2What the hell.
Speaker 1And, of course, this violin goes wherever with his tone. Yeah, but I mean, it's like this is such intense music. Oh yeah, it's like disco orchestra.
Speaker 2What's with this? We gotta get it up. What is that? He's just said that we gotta get it up. Up up, I'm hopefully music well, he's in love, love gonna get it up like this.
Speaker 1I don't know, I'm just what's with this?
Speaker 2wow, really getting to me yeah, oh my goodness, follow me, follow me, follow me now, oh my god. Now, oh my God, ooh.

Speaker 1Hey, oh yeah, oh Red. He's saying red yeah, red like this, red like this.
Speaker 2I think I was so stunned earlier I wasn't hearing things.
Speaker 1Wow Red, oh red.
Speaker 2Is this like the continuation from red Holy?
Speaker 1mackerel, that was like wow.
Speaker 2You start with a boom and you end up with a boom.
Speaker 1I know wow, that was crazy. That was crazy, and again something with so many different sounds.
Speaker 2But it works and it all comes together and that was just all electronic holy EDM through and through his voice, jeez, right, jeez. It's just gonna be live, it's gonna be an awesome live, oh my god, that was this is a different yam yam.
Speaker 1This is such a different yam yam he was like velvet there, like so smooth so wow, just yamara-san.
Speaker 2That was yamara-san. Oh my god, not the cutesy yam yam.
Speaker 1This is yamara-san definitely not all right wow now.
Speaker 2I wanted to hear hustler, which is the next song. I don't know if it's going to top Velver, is it going?
Speaker 1to live up to.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I know right. Well, like I said, because, that's pretty explosive. I mean, well, you know, we liked Switch because that was a really good dance tune. Yep, we liked Red just now because, again, that was another like very.
Speaker 2It was upbeat.
Speaker 1Yeah you know, but this holy wow wow, yeah, that just blew me away that yeah okay, uh well, it was upbeat too, but it was also. It was very sultry.
Speaker 2It was fun, it was intense it was quite intense.
Speaker 1For me it was intense, uh, uh, okay well, yeah, but it was intense because it had an aura about it.
Speaker 2Everything from the music to.
Speaker 1Yam, yam's delivery, wow Okay.
Speaker 2We're moving on to Hustler because I'm curious now. I know, right, please not let it be a flop. I mean, yam Yam's not going to be a flop, but you know, okay, let's see. Let's see what happens.
Speaker 1We'll just yeah, instead of a snippet, we listened to that whole thing. Whoa oh oh excuse me, this is a little industrial opening. Oh what, wow, what, wow, what. Where is this coming from? Yamada, holy moly.
