ORβIT’s Bold New Era and the Roar That Follows

DJ Panic & Sarah

The first minutes feel like a false start into fall—pumpkins, leaves, and office horror stories—then the ground tilts and we’re off into ORβIT’s ROAR era, where a five-member lineup turns change into momentum. We walk through the reinvention with energy and honesty: who left, who stayed, who’s writing, and why that matters to the sound. From the snarling opener to the last tender piano phrase, this album is a journey that swaps fluster for purpose and nostalgia for a new horizon.

We go track by track to map the emotional terrain. 'TOO LOUD' hits like a sleek dark-pop bullet, all warning sirens and bass drops. 'DADADA' and 'RIDE ON' inject brass, disco guitar, and 70s groove for pure movement. 'HUFF!' crackles with duo-rock chaos that smells like a Friday night gone feral, while 'chocolate' slides into velvet R&B—intimate, urgent, and frankly irresistible. 'Our gravity' and '和音 (chord)' shift the tone with soft-disco warmth and a classic-leaning ballad laced with silver-and-gold romance, showcasing layered harmonies and sincere writing. 'Panorama' sprints forward with a bright pop‑rock rush, and 'ENCORE' sends us home with that aching, hopeful swell that says the story isn’t over.

What makes ROAR special isn’t just genre range—it’s authorship. Members pen lyrics, stamp moods, and let their personalities steer units and choruses. You can hear a group recalibrating in real time: tighter blend, sharper edges, bigger heart. If you’re EαRTH, you’ll catch the winks; if you’re new, you’ll still feel the lift. Expect keywords like ORβIT ROAR review, J‑pop album breakdown, track-by-track analysis, funk pop, rock duo, R&B ballad, and member-written songs to bring fellow listeners into the conversation. Hit play, pick your top three, and tell us where the album surprised you most. If this breakdown resonates, subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a quick review—your support keeps these deep dives coming.

SPEAKER_01:

Welcome everybody to another episode of Music Elixir with me, Sadashi and Mr.

SPEAKER_03:

J Panic. Yay! Sarah is back from hiatus again.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's been a crazy few weeks. It's yeah, September was weird. Definitely. And but it also flew by. Yeah. Like I was like, what happened to September? It's suddenly it's October. It's fall. The leaves are changing. Yeah. It's colder. Yes. Definitely. It's been nice and cool at night. I'm loving it, loving it. I am loving that too.

SPEAKER_03:

Just I want to say this year's leaf peeping is gonna be also uneventful. There's some trees that are like change and then now there are no leaves. Yeah, they're just dead. It's not the same vibrant foliage from like past years. Even last year was kind of like that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it was a little lame. Well, I'm thinking the the hot days and the colder nights should actually help with that. So if we can avoid having too much rain, we might get more pop like in a week or so. Actually, we went pumping pumping.

SPEAKER_03:

Pump pumping picking. Pumpkin picking. And the uh the farmer that we go to, uh, she was saying that thank God for the drought, or they won't be able to have the pumpkins that they have this year. Oh, really?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Because I thought they're like mostly water.

SPEAKER_03:

That that I know. I that's that's I was thinking the opposite. She's she was saying that no, because then you were able to actually pick them up and would have less rotten pumpkins.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, that's true, yeah. Because if it's too wet, everything just sits in the yeah, in the mud.

SPEAKER_03:

The mud and the muck and because you know they're so interesting. Yeah, and she was just saying, Oh yeah, we got a great crop because of the drought. It's like, wow. I will say, you know, so uh for pumpkins, that's good. They were saying they had a lot of large ones this year, which uh that's that's one of the things they people families they like to get the large ones for their front of their houses, and so they had a good Halloween season. I know it's so cute. I've they have I want to say they have the best selection of mini pumpkins. Okay, the little white ones. Oh, okay. Yeah, like the gourds and stuff, the yellow, they all have this the shape of the Cinderella shape of pumpkin, okay, but in different colors. Oh, cool. Yeah. I'm like, oh, I'm gonna get three from my office. Put them up there. So I have the the original, you know, orange, then it was an orange and yellow, and then a white one. Oh, nice. It's so cute.

SPEAKER_01:

I love so little by little, um just keep an eye on them because when they sit in your office, especially if you know the dry heat and stuff, they'll start to get soggy on the bottom.

SPEAKER_03:

So no, there was a lady that she does not come to the office as often, and she had a little pumpkin. She kept it there, and I was keeping an eye on it. I'm like, when is she coming back? And it was getting it's collapsing slowly. It's getting quite nasty, and I'm like, I don't want to throw it away. But I mean, I might have to.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But uh, I don't know next, I guess the next week or so. I don't know when I noticed that it was not there. So I'm like, oh, she actually did come into the office and be like, oh, I need to get rid of this.

SPEAKER_01:

But yeah, rotten pumpkin on my desk.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, because uh I mean I was gonna throw it away and be like, sorry, you know, I was gonna take a picture, and she'll like, um, it was getting quite gnarly and stinky. So I was gonna say we got rid of it, and gnats were around it, and just wondering where your pumpkin went.

SPEAKER_01:

And the when they start to rot like that, they they actually smell almost like fish. It's it's really kind of gross. It is. Because we had one in our office that someone forgot about, like out in the little common area. Oh no. And I was like, did someone cook fish? What is that smell? And then I noticed the pumpkin was like leaking, and I was like, no, get rid of that.

SPEAKER_03:

No, horrid. It's just horrible. There you go. Halloween pumpkin.

SPEAKER_01:

But we're not actually here to talk about foliage and pumpkins. Yeah, but you know, we are.

SPEAKER_03:

We gotta start with a little bit of what's going on in our lives. You know, we are actually we already have spoken about, we had done a deep dive on this group. Yes, we've got to go. This group is from Japan, but they have now moved on to a new company, and also the line-up have changed. Um, so we're going to do another deep dive on orbit. Yay! From a seven-member group to now a five-member group. Yes. So we're just gonna reintroduce the group to everybody for those who are new to the podcast and welcome for listening. So Orbit was formerly known as Orbit Union. Uh, it's a Japanese and Korean group uh formed from their uh contestant some from contestants from the Produce 101 Japan. Yeah, I cannot read. That was back in uh January of 2020. Then they debuted on November 11th of 2020 with the album Zero Zero. Also, there was a Heitas moment too, because on February twirst of 2022, members Young Hoon and Hecho would have to do their military enlistment uh and then rejoin the group back on 2023. But on June 20th of this year of 2025, Hecho and June graduated from the group. So now we're gonna introduce the five-member near you know, five-member groups of orbit. We're gonna start right now with Young Hun. He was born on January 15, 1993. He's a Capricorn. Also, the members each have a planet, and he is Saturn.

SPEAKER_01:

Next is Yundong, February 19th, 1995. Pisces, just barely. I know. He's our Pisces baby, but not March BB. Yep, one of our our brethren, right? Mm-hmm. And his planet is Venus.

SPEAKER_03:

Coming up, we have Mr. Tomu in Sarah's bias. Yes, he is. Born on December 19, 1996. He's a Sagittarius, and his planet is Neptune. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01:

Which is one of our ruling planets. Yes. All right, next we have Shunya, May 18th, 1997. A Gemini. His planet is Mercury.

SPEAKER_03:

And then last but not least, my baby boy, Yugo, born on December 13, 2000. He's gonna be turning 25 this year. Oh my god. He's a Sagittarius, and his planet is Jupiter. Jupiter. Now you will think that the Pisces will have the Neptune. You would. Yeah. But it didn't happen. No. No. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

I think we if you go back and listen to our original when it was the seven-member group, I think we we talked about um sort of the synchronicity of some of the planet alignments.

SPEAKER_03:

I forgot if the any any of uh the members have now because the leader actually you know graduated from the group if there is a new leader now. That I did not uh check for. Oh yeah. I don't know. I don't know if anybody have a leader who has the leader post now.

SPEAKER_01:

I don't know, actually. Maybe they're just gonna have it be like the eldest. Maybe. If it is, that would it be what, Yun Dong? Young Hoon. Young Hoon, yes, I think. You know, but we we don't know for sure because they haven't they haven't really announced officially that anybody's leader.

SPEAKER_03:

From that, yeah. Yeah. So okay.

SPEAKER_01:

That I know of anyway. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I do remember Earth, which of course is the fandom name, have actually said, uh, we're so sad that actually uh Young Hoon, who was who was the leader, had graduated from the group, so they don't know who will be. But that was when the whole announcement of June and Hecho left. I mean June and Hitcho leaving. Hecho was the leader. Hecho, right? Yeah, Hecho was the leader. Okay. I think so. Okay. Okay, now I'm getting confused. Earth, please help us out here. Yeah, we're trying to reintroduce the group and doing a badly job. Of course, you know, it's wouldn't be music elixir if we don't have a snafu of some kind. Get a little crazy, do things. I see that side eye. Y'all gotta remember, we are your friends over here just talking about your faves. Oh my goodness. Fangirl comedians. We are fangirl comedians. Do remember that, please, because some people forget about that.

SPEAKER_01:

And this is just this is our labor of love. We do, you know, we don't get paid for this. We don't we just do this because we enjoy it and you know. Exactly. We're relying on outside sources for information that aren't always you know, yeah, which are all translated correctly or you know, which are also run by fans, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

If if a fan just lists, you know, heard and put it out there for the for everybody to see, it's that's where we're getting it from. Yeah, so but we also have checked their website too. Which by the way, uh on the website, they have their also the blood type. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yugo doesn't have a blood type. It was question mark. They didn't list it? No. Oh. I was like, hmm, why is that? Everybody has their blood type. There's a lot of A's, and there's Shunya has A B. Shunya has A B. That's why he's so cray. That's why he's the one always with the uh very uh he's the comedian, you know, he just like so hyperactive, so like two personalities.

SPEAKER_01:

Yep. I was gonna say, yeah, Tomo and um Yundong are type A and Young Hoon is B. So they're sort of a yeah, depending on Yugo. Yeah, they could be just a very well balanced. If he's an O, you know, there we go. He's throws everything off, but yeah. But yeah, so just question mark them like Yeah, that's really weird. Cause that's you know, yeah, like a big deal.

SPEAKER_03:

It's yeah, in Asia, that is a big compatibility of blood types. Yeah, so it's weird. Probably he's just like, no, do not put it out there.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I don't want anybody knowing. No, no, no assumptions about me.

SPEAKER_02:

Thank you.

SPEAKER_03:

The mystery boy. That's why I live him. He's so cute. Oh my god, he's so cute. Every time he's out there doing his thing, his TikTok thingies. I'm like, oh, he's so adorable. I know you're trying to be sexy. I don't see it. You're just so cute. Oh my god. Okay, all right, we're rambling on this. But we are actually that we're gonna talk about their latest, newest album, Roar. Oh my god. It's an album album, there's 10 songs, it's not an EP, you know, nothing like, let's just throw five songs for you guys, you know, so you can be like I know it's a long awaited album that actually was released on September 17. And oh my goodness, like as soon as they start saying new company, and also new album that was started like what in June or July? I know it took forever because it's like new album. I'm like, why are you giving us like three months in advance? I they did that with the last EP. It's like, why are you doing this to me? I gotta be waiting three months for it.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, they wanted everybody to know, but they were probably still like, you know, final touches, editing out, uh correcting, you know, whatnot.

SPEAKER_03:

So yeah, but it's just like but then I was now looking at what's going on in here. We got duets. A lot of the members have actually have written credits in it, so that is awesome. We'll talk about we'll do that on each song because I was just like, okay, this is why it probably took so long because we needed to wait for members to be present. As you know, Hugo is an actor, he's been doing musical. I was gonna say his thing. They had little projects going on, exactly. And it and and it's uh it's amazing, it's awesome. Okay, and also we had our tomo, he had his uh solo, his solo, as long as uh also young young home. Oh my goodness! We need to give you a better name.

SPEAKER_01:

I think June also had done some solo stuff right before the announcement of the change in lineup, so so they were doing their solo things.

SPEAKER_03:

But yes, it makes sense why it took just just long for the album to drop. And of course, um our our you know, private thing didn't help because we didn't talk about it back in September, and we're doing it now in October. But anyways, Sarah needed to go on hiatus. Better late than never true, it gave us more time to look into things, check out videos. Of course, we had to see that video.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, and all their little shorts and reels and stuff on um Instagram and stuff. Yeah, Instagram, TikTok. And actually, I have to say, they had uh some of the costumes. Mm-hmm. Toma wearing the skirt. Love that, right? I love when when guys do the like skirt, half skirt thing. I love the costumes.

SPEAKER_03:

Love these costumes. Love, love, love. They're big enough so they can move, but they were not like humongously like why it's just close, you know, drapes on you. You know? Yeah, exactly. And it wasn't over tight that it's like, ooh, you know, you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, I do. Now they had good movement, good flow.

SPEAKER_03:

And the red and black, oh yeah, yeah. Love. Yeah, that's yeah, danger. Those are danger colors. It's like they're seductive, I wanna say.

SPEAKER_01:

Well passionate, fiery red kids, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

Love.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03:

So actually they start with an instrumental roar. So what how do you feel with roar?

SPEAKER_01:

It's uh aggressive, it's very grand opening kind of sound. It's very there's a a roar at the beginning. Uh they got growls and gruff sort of animalistic sounds in the middle of it. So it's just very like I don't know, coming at you. That's the introduction is them sort of sneaking up on you. Rrrrr. Right. I'm not as good a roarer growler as whoever was doing it.

SPEAKER_03:

I do, I do like the instrumental on this one. Uh, it does create anticipation. Yes, it does. Of course. That that that sonic sound of like that raw was literally combing at you. It had also like this like suspense like chords to it. So it's like, ooh, it feels a little dangerous, but it kind of feels exciting, you know. Like, oh my god, what's going on?

SPEAKER_01:

Very the suspense building, right?

SPEAKER_03:

What's coming? It's definitely to set the tone for the next song that is coming. Now, before we really do, you want to do a deep dive chronologically, or you want to do a deep dive or you want to talk about like our most favorite. Oh, I'm the least favorite. Because we usually do that well, we usually we do that when it's like Agni P. Yeah. But now that these are 10 songs, do you want to go chronologically? Sure, we can do that. Okay. Because I think when when they start with Roar and then bring that next song, which by the way, I want to say is everybody's favorite.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's definitely in the top.

SPEAKER_03:

I wanna say is everybody's favorite. Come on. It's my favorite and the music video is my favorite too. Yeah. You know, that's from the dance performance to just the regular video.

SPEAKER_01:

It's got power behind it.

SPEAKER_04:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01:

Which is why it's a good follow-up to that musical intro, the the roar musical intro.

SPEAKER_03:

So the song that we are going to talk about probably very deeply will be Too Loud. Mm-hmm. Oh my god. It wasn't too loud for me. It was perfect. It was just perfect. So you want to go first? Sure. Okay. So um Too Loud. It's just this track that is just cool, dark, sleek vibes that definitely grabs your attention. Just from the start, that sinister thinth synth. I like when it highs the it just got high tempo, it's a strong beat, really keeps things like moving. Especially there, like there's just sound that from each verse is goes, uh oh. But it's like, what is that? It's like it felt like um, you know, those flutes that supposedly enchant like snakes. Oh, okay. It just felt like that. I'm like, oh my god, what is that? And then the bound and the oh geez. It's just it has catchy hooks, it's got these edgy vocals. Oh, definitely just makes that really stand out. This song is like exciting, a movement, it's just dance, it's just really shows off what the group can do. And you know, this is one that listeners, I'll bet they come back to listen to. It dealt with me. Oh, yeah, no, I put that on repeat.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I was gonna say it's what you have to just go over and over. Oh, yeah. It does, it grabs you. Mm-hmm. My turn, you want me to go ahead. All right. It's got this sort of smooth, almost uh sci-fi intro, like like you were saying, it's building something up, and it's very, hmm, you know, what's coming to me? And then boom, that bass drop, and that's what starts to drive the song forward when that bass just do. Maybe like 40 seconds in, they have those punctuated vocals, they just in your face, boom, boom, boom. You know what I mean? It's it's so wild because it's one of those transitions that you're like, what's happening? Where's all you know, there's just walls of sound coming at you the whole time. And it's funny because you were saying like the flute, sort of the um hypnotic. Yeah, there's like a sound that goes it's like, what is that? It also is almost like um those warning sirens, you know, like from the distance. So you're like, what's happening? Yeah, it's building up to something. They go all electrophunk and sultry for a little while, and then that rap comes in, and they're like, they threw everything in there, but in such a smooth and rolling along kind of way. You just you're drawn into this song, and you're like, what do I do? Do I dance dance? Do I just sort of bop in my seat? Do I stand here stunned like a deer in headlights, going, Wow, what is this sound? It's just it's like, okay, I'm moving, and it's like, uh, what is that? Yeah, you know, you're like, yeah, you're like bopping along, and then you're like, yeah, I want to move. And then you just have to stop because you're like, whoa, wow, listen to that, you know, it's amazing. I think they really they worked their voices perfectly on this. They've like even losing two members, they found their groove, you know what I mean? Which is sometimes hard to do. Right. So kudos to them. This is yeah, I love this song. I love this song. Like the minute you hear the opening, you're just like, oh yeah, I'm gonna like this.

SPEAKER_02:

I was like, come on, this song is fire.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, this, oh yes.

SPEAKER_01:

And despite what they say, it's not actually too loud. It's just I don't know why they're meaning about too loud. I think I think just like they're coming at you like they're like they're too loud, you know. You and so you've got to be prepared. What's coming? What's gonna happen? But yeah, no, I love all of the little dance clips and stuff they showed of this. Wow, wow, wow.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_01:

I think they obviously liked it too, cuz Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

The yeah, the boys are having fun with it. So much fun with this. Absolutely. We're having fun with it too. Come on, yes. Speaking of having fun, let's talk about the next song, which is Da Da Da. Da Da Da. This is one of your faves type of music. Oh, yes, it is. The funky vibes are on point on this dance track, and the group brings a fun and soulful energy that I'll bet their performance is the same as well.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Oh, yeah, no, this one's this is a definitely like dance to it. Because like you said, it's amazingly awesome funk sounds. They got the brass, they've got like the um that aggressive like tinny guitar, you know. Yep. And and just when they start singing the da da da da da you're like, oh yeah. I'm getting into this. Yeah, it's sort of it's yeah, borderline funk disco. It's really got that great danceability to it, you know. And this is very it seemed I think they were having a lot of fun with it too. Yes. And I don't know where like what the the reference, but they say danger in there, like so the da-da-da-da is leading up to danger. I'm like, what danger? Like, you guys are dangerous, that's for sure, but whoop. So I don't because like pretty much it's all Japanese, and I didn't find any translations like in um the Spotify, you know, sometimes they have the lyrics and there were none, and sometimes looking up lyrics elsewhere, not always the best idea. But it's so just going by what I heard.

SPEAKER_03:

The vibes were funky, the vibes were fun, and it's just a dance track that is like, yeah. Sultry. Yeah, definitely want everybody's thing. Uh-uh-uh-uh. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

No, you can't help but move to it.

SPEAKER_03:

It's yeah, it's very catchy, very, very catchy. And now, speaking of like, well, I'm gonna say maybe catchy. Next song is Huff.

SPEAKER_01:

Huff, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

When I saw that title, and I'm like, eh? What I know.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, because like here, the slang for huff is something.

SPEAKER_03:

I was like, Exactly. And I'm like, um, okay, but hey, it's J Pop. Who knows? What is that about? This is our first dual track.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

Young We and Shunya.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, the track showcasing, the screeching rock and roll guitars, powerful drums, punchy bass. Typically, dual sections allow for a change in texture, definitely. And uh, such as their vocals or tone, and the lyric content was completely different on this, especially like who let the dogs out, like what I know.

SPEAKER_01:

Like, hey, a shout out to the Baja men there for the what was that? The 90s?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, yeah, yeah. I remember everybody, like, even commercials were using that for like dog commercials. That was crazy. But it just the track provides a refreshing break, you know, definitely, definitely a different energy from from the full group. So uh yeah, it was it was quite uh interesting and surprising.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, it was. So, like you were saying, yeah, that rock guitar sound, definitely like screeching guitar. Like I like how Huff is in there, they're huffing through the song, like again, making the the song be what it's about. You know what I mean? I think they're definitely bringing that in. They've got that switch to like the minor chord sort of in the middle. It alters your perception of what's going on. There's a line in there. I think they're saying, give me more drinks. I feel so high.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, like so.

SPEAKER_01:

Maybe they are, you know, thinking of the huff, like I said here, the slang for that. It's probably a drinking song. Hey, you know. Um but even and with that, you know, that's sort of the last thing they say a few times in the song, and you hear sirens in the background, it's like, whoa, somebody's having a very good time. Oh, yeah. Right. They got to around. This is like the party getting broken up. Exactly. And if you like the music in a way, it's very much like almost borderline mosh pit kind of sound. Like you can just see people like getting crazy listening to it because it's got that energy. It's just that, like, oh, I gotta burn off all this excess, you know, crap that happened all week, and I'm just gonna be like, yeah. But but yeah, no, this is like definitely some sort of anthem, right?

SPEAKER_03:

It is, it is so rock and roll to the maxim.

SPEAKER_01:

This one, and this is Shunya gets to do a little bit of his like crazy.

SPEAKER_03:

It gets to be himself. We have seen him on you know, on reels doing, you know, his his little craziness, his his fangirl persona. I love when he's rest and dragged. I love him. He he loves, I love, I just love it.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, one of the most recent ones, you know, like everybody's doing a little clip. Yeah, and like Tomo's all sort of like sultry and sexy, right? Singing to you. Junya's is him like laughing like a maniac running around holding the the camera. Yeah, you know, I was like, Yeah, of course that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, he's the comedian, he's the one that is like, you know, that's not my vibe. This is my vibe, this is me.

SPEAKER_01:

This is what I'm doing.

SPEAKER_03:

That's why we love him, because he gets cray cray, you know. He's the par he's the party animal.

SPEAKER_01:

So yeah, this song though, and and what I like is so far, if you think about these three songs, they're also very different. Yes. So again, them sort of showcasing their new sound.

SPEAKER_03:

They're giving you different sound, definitely. Definitely, definitely, and speaking of different sound, oh my god. My second favorite. I knew it would be. I knew it would be, and it's not because of you go, but I mean it is a when I saw the teaser on Instagram, I was like, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, oh, and then the sun. I was like, oh, this sounds very anyways, like chocolate, very so you're very smooth and like rich. Anyways, so yes, we're gonna talk about chocolate, another duo. This one is Yung Dong and my baby boy, you know. Oh my god. Oh my god. Like, I'm like, okay, okay, you are in your 20s, you're not a baby anymore, but come on. I don't know. But my heart over here is like, oh my god, baby boy, jeez. So when you this cover this song, it's like this chanting charm, this smooth, it's soft and irresistible, just like chocolate, you know, seductive RB gem. Oh my god. And guess what? Dave wrote this song. Oh really? Yes. So I'm like, my baby boys raised what?

SPEAKER_01:

Writing lyrics like that? What? But you know, but help with Young Dong. I was gonna say maybe he didn't write those particular who knows.

SPEAKER_03:

Earth tell me which one he wrote. Because I know Yoon Dong also wrote as well. Uh, but this track is just beautifully captures profound emotions. Oh no, it didn't to me. And just creates an intimate vibe. Oh my god, what's that intimate? Girl. Showcasing their incredible vocals. And it just adds a delightful contrast to the album's more intense songs, like we just heard. Like inviting you with like full like fulfill fully dive into the captivating soundscape. Oh, I did enjoy this so much.

SPEAKER_01:

Is this is this like a blackout song for you? Yes, it is. I was gonna say, yeah, yes, it is. The more I listened to it, the more I was like, Oh my god. Oh yeah, this is kind of blackout. This is kind of blackout.

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03:

Girl, if I have a season, oh my god, we have a season live. Puddles! Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh my god. Okay, go ahead. Well, I was gonna like you were saying, it's a change up from the sound. And what I like about the little unit things here is you're obviously seeing how these particular members, you know, what they sort of gravitate towards sound-wise and emotion-wise. This one's definitely a sultry RB. Mm-hmm. I like how it turns like a little, I don't know, urgent and angsty, like like they're begging you for something because, you know, spicy and creamy. Give me your secret. Or, you know, like in the way they say baby. Oh, yeah. In the middle of the baby, oh wow. Mm-hmm. You know, give me one bite, wow. Okay. Yep. This is definitely a little racy. I'm like, and like you said, though, smooth like chocolate, like, you know, and chocolate is um, I wouldn't quite say aphrodisiac, but it does release endorphins, makes you happy, makes you feel good, takes away pain, sort of mellows you out, you know. So it's I don't know, lulls you in. It's very much a mm, yeah, a yeah a seductive song. Definitely like just mm, uh-huh, yeah. And then there's this point where they have like this constant high chord piano that gives you that sort of craving and wanting more and need. It's it's definitely like a I have to have more of this. Come on, give me more of your chocolate, you know?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, like yeah, the music compositions, oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it is so good. And that's why it's a blackout, because like I said, that the way that music hit me, I was just like, Yeah, I do. I want more, I want more.

SPEAKER_03:

And with the like the curse urgency of like da da chocolate, I'm like, oh I'm gone. And it's just like, oh my god, when Yun dong is like I'm like, oh my god, yeah, that yo boy. And you're like, What like it's building up and you're thinking my Yugo going these high notes, I'm like, oh my god. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, yeah, no, this but like I said, what a stark contrast to Huff, right? Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03:

We have the party animals over there, and then we have these two that are danger boys.

SPEAKER_01:

Danger, they're the ones who are like, we're gonna go, let's go sit in the corner of the club, baby, and like relax. The other two in more quiet space.

SPEAKER_03:

Let's find a more quiet space. Oh my god. No.

SPEAKER_01:

Yep. The other two are out dancing wild. These two are like, come to my corner, baby. Come, baby boy, stop it.

SPEAKER_02:

No, no, it's supposed to be sweet and angelic.

SPEAKER_00:

Sweet, it's chocolate.

SPEAKER_02:

No, there's a danger. No, no, no, I'm sure Earth is like, no, they get fatter, he's amazing. I'm like, but no, it doesn't, it's my baby.

SPEAKER_03:

My child, no. I'll be one of those moments, like, you know, come here. Why are you dressed like that? Put the door on you. What's wrong with you? Why are you singing about that? Oh my god. You bad, bad boy. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02:

Just to think that he wrote lyrics like this and you're not too.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm like, oh my goodness. Earth, please let me know which ones he wrote. I'm sure the most dangerous ones.

SPEAKER_01:

Probably.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, no, that's definitely a mood song. Jeez, it is.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's move on to another song. Actually, our next song, which will be Our Gravity. Shunya also has lyrics on this one. Really? Yeah. Wow. It was him and uh Kotaro Egami. Did not do a deep dive on him, but or her. We don't know if there's a she. But uh this track is completely different than the other two. You know, we had this like the high energy one from Huff, and then the sultry, and like, oh my god, I'm gonna faint chocolate. To like our gravity, you know, this track is like burst with like joyful energy, lively tempo, that truly enhance the emotional death. It's beautiful, you know, it's a complete transition from the other ones, like I was saying. More thoughtful and reflective mood as the album starts to unfold. Excuse me. See, I'm still like trying to recover from that one. Just uh, you know, captivates listening and just like sparkling curiosity, like a profound journey ahead. It's just prepared to be like enthrall like what to come. It's it's beautiful. It is beautiful. It's called the the the other side of Shun Yang.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, it's the other side of all of the previous songs, I would say. Yeah. It's very it's much sweeter, it's but it's still a little danceable. It's light and airy, another s a mood, but a a softer mood, a gentler mood. It's pretty much like a pop disco mix. It's very peppy and lively. And I felt sort of like I don't know that they were talking about you, the fans, an individual maybe, keeping them grounded, and that's what the our gravity is all about, is level and on the ground. Because I did hear them saying, you know, something keeping you by my side, together, grounded, down to earth, down to earth. Hey, fandom name, you know. So yeah, it was just a very positive feeling, sweet sounding song. It relaxed me, but still had enough energy to, you know, keep you invested in it and keep listening. And it's just the vocals are beautiful. Love, love, love this song. For its more simple sound, you know what I mean? You know, panic and I love our like aggressive, you know, whatever, and our blackout songs that make you swoon. But this is also just a nice, feel-good song. I really enjoyed it. Peaceful, relaxing.

SPEAKER_03:

It is relaxing, relaxing. So our next song is Chord. What is being translated? Um this one was uh written by Hugo, and again is Kotaro Egami. Oh, okay. This is our sweet song. This is another sweet, this is the sweet see. This is what I like Yugo to be sweet. Angelic. You know. Anyways, the actual title for chord is like a beautiful highlights, I wanna say. It has a significant harmony and melody. This song is like masterfully weaves together intricate vocals interplay and uh like the lush harmonies as well. It's like resulting in a very enchanting and memorable like experience that truly captivates the listener. It's of course because it's my Yugo written. Well, part of it. I like that when the song starts with violins, you know, it's almost a ballad and it's just emotional. It's just an emotionally driven song. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, I was gonna say I like that it's sort of a classical sounding opening, almost like a minuet. Like people fancied, you know, party dress and everybody's gonna be dancing, and it sort of moves almost into a a ballroom swell of music, you know, like people that the violins, the piano. Again, it's a very elegant sounding the the imagery I saw, I was like, it's sparkly silver and gold and lots of I don't know. It was very a romantic feel. It it made a very romantic sensation, you know, like oh, this is just lovely and everything everything's beautiful at this moment. So again, the the blending of their vocals, the harmony, gorgeous, love it, and it's so sincere sounding, like it's a promise of something. I don't know, promise of love, promise of you know, just being together, but it's brings out that like sense of hopefulness and and this is here to lift your spirits and just draw you in. I think there's a you know, forever starts from now. Mm-hmm that like wow, you know, totally romantic. So maybe you're a little you go romantic at heart. Yeah, right, and so yeah, this is just swelling with emotion. It should be in a drama, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

It could be in a one of those like romantic dramas, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Come on, and and I really love the way that it ends on a chord, it just don't like I was like, wow, that just brought it full circle for you. There you go. This is the point of the song, yeah. So it was just I was very dewy-eyed listening to this, you know. Like it's so sweet and just touches your heart. So the the English lyrics that you can hear are about, you know, calling out to you and forever love and you know what I mean? It's just a a very peaceful, sweet song. I like my yugo. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's sort of it, it sort of blends into the our gravity kind of you know, the the flow of the two songs going together works very well. Yeah, I love it.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh I I picture them like you know, just in line lined up, like in pastel colors, you know, and definitely like uh rosy type of like sunset in the background, you know, projecting some stars and whatnot. Oh my god, yeah, that's me.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, no lots of sparkles, like I said at the beginning. Yes, just sparkly and glittery and wonderful and like you're in a dream, almost, you know, just all of them wearing white with like flowy, kind of like some clothing.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, that will look so awesome.

SPEAKER_01:

I think actually they've had outfits like that before, right? The white with the sparklies and the suit, those would be perfect for this. Right? Right?

SPEAKER_03:

Right, yes, definitely, just putting it out there because things have happened after we have dropped an episode. I'm not gonna mention names, but it's also one of Mike's kids. Anyways, moving on, we're going to talk about Tomo and Hugo. Oh my god, right on. Excuse me, Hugo.

SPEAKER_01:

I was gonna say, excuse me, Tomo.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh my goodness. How about the greedy voices? Oh my god, both of them. Because it's like right on my geez.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, for yeah, for that chorus part, definitely.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, but the start, oh my god, the funky town. We're going funky town, disco. Yeah, this is our second funky song, you know, and it's just but but for those vocals, it just definitely you need to, you know. I like that they the little words in English like freaky, yeah, right on, won't let you down.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm like, come on, don't want to slow it down, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And but hey, there's one part when it's my yugo singing that it gets kind of slow, and he's there like, oh my god, his voice there, really like driving it in. Like, oh I'm like, yo, boy, stop it.

SPEAKER_01:

It's a little slightly different from his chocolate voice, oh yes, but along the same lines, you know, like this is more greedy.

SPEAKER_02:

He's like, he's like, hey, baby. I'm like, uh-uh. Don't don't give me that attitude. No, no, hey, baby. So no no no no nanny, none, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, eh. Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

Don't give me that. Just imagine you could come off to you. He's like, hey, baby.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm like, none core, go away, little boy. What are you doing?

SPEAKER_01:

No, Tomo, on the other hand, yeah. Uh yeah, Tomo's a little older. He can go, hey, baby. And I'll be like, okay, hello. Well, he's even got that hey baby look all the time. Oh my goodness. Too handsome for his own good. Oh, yes.

SPEAKER_02:

Is that what Sarah?

SPEAKER_03:

It's like, look at your boy. Jeez. Yeah, he always gives that sultry look. Mm-hmm. It was like, yo, oh, and then of course, the gun shows. Oh, yeah. But just to for those of those who are in Japan, because we do have a lot of Japan listeners, that when they when we say gun show, meaning the arm, the muscle arms.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, those big that's you know sculpted arms.

SPEAKER_03:

That's the slang that we use over here in the United States for a man with very muscular arms and wear short sleeves and sort of.

SPEAKER_01:

Or yeah, the the muscle tees. Yeah, he's always got the cutoff shirt.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh yeah. He's like and and tomo load off to do gun shows. Like, hey, I work out. Look at my muscles, look at my arms. Okay, boy. Okay, and Sarah over here is like, yeah, yeah, more of that, please.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, I was gonna some of the those dance videos that they've got, like watching them move.

SPEAKER_04:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01:

All of them, it's amazing. But like for someone so muscular, I'm always fascinated when the really muscular guys can dance as well as they do, you know, because like it's bulk.

SPEAKER_03:

I know. It's like, how do you move around? Exactly. They must work on flexibility, they have to spread a lot.

SPEAKER_01:

He probably does yoga, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

Hey, yeah, wouldn't mind saying a video of working out with me? Come on, putting it out there, tomo. Tomo's workout video. Workout videos like here's my my routine. Uh oh yeah. Routine, uh, tomo's routine day. I don't know. Today I run. Tomorrow I do legs, next day I do arms. Abs, yeah. Abs and back. Today is my fun day. I do what I want. Hey! Oh my god, will that get views? I know, right? That will get a lot of views, and the reels, yes, there will be so many reels out there.

SPEAKER_01:

I know, right? Well, uh, because there's a lot of people who do those like 30-second reels of do this 10 times, this 10 times, this 10 times, and this 10 times, and you'll look like me. He could do that exactly.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, okay. So now we're putting out their like mini ideas for Tomo. So, like, he can do a workout on something and have in the background one of their songs. Oh, yeah. You know, yeah, definitely.

SPEAKER_01:

Hey, you know, just saying, just putting it out there.

SPEAKER_03:

You know, they do have their own YouTube channel, it could be just like you in one of their episodes. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Ideas. But so yes, the write on. Yes. Right on is another hot one.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, but it's fun.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Because it gets you moving. Hey, hey.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, they got the funk.

SPEAKER_03:

The funk, definitely.

SPEAKER_01:

They got the disco vibes, they got a little RB, the the sultry, smoky, the vocals at the beginning when Tomo's singing. Yeah. He's he's got it's not the the smooth, not it's a little edgy. You know, he's got that rough I don't know.

SPEAKER_03:

It's got yeah, their voices are more greedy to me. You know? Yeah. He's not this sweet vocals, he's just greedy.

SPEAKER_01:

And even the way they say, ride on. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like it's like growling at you. We're gonna ride on. Don't wanna slow it down. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, no, this is so cool because they their voices work really well together, too. They they do some good little harmonizing there. I like how they sing over themselves on their little solo parts. Sometimes they sing together. And yeah, it's just such a good song. Like the movement of it is so cool. It's got a lot of that old school kind of synth going on, a little wah wah guitar going on. And it's just, yeah, it's sort of that seven late 70s groove kind of music. Yes. Love it, love it. Yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_03:

I agree completely. And let's see if we can have some of that tomorrow videos. Work out with me today. Or or just look at me, work out today.

SPEAKER_01:

I know, right? It wouldn't be work out with me, it would be like, I guess you can just watch me work out. Exactly. That's all people would do. They'd be okay. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_03:

I feel healthier already. Exactly. And don't forget to put that song in the background. Mm-hmm. The next song, it will be Panorama, which actually was the single for the preview of this uh album. So it just my feeling for panorama. It's like pop rock style, another rocky one. It was like energy, it was nostalgic a bit, somewhat uh it it got this like running forward, you know. Um I like also the video because of course I had to watch the video because the video was out there. I like the boys having fun with each other, you know, they're just like together and you know, panorama uh just I like that is now that there are five five member group, panorama meaning like looking ahead of what we're gonna be doing right now. It's a song that's like, hey, this is what we are right now, and we're gonna have fun. And you guys are gonna, you know, Earth is gonna be with us, gonna be together. We're gonna it was a very positive happy go lucky song. I haven't said that in a while. So that's what it might take for panorama, you know, just looking ahead with everybody and just like going ahead.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, I was gonna say, yeah, it's a driving like 80s or 90s, almost um when you said nostalgia, I was like, it reminded me of like a a television show theme song opener. Yes, yes, very fun-loving, very just hyper energetic. I love the little oh the oh-oh's in the middle of it. But yeah, and and the idea of yeah, this panorama, this whole vista opening up to you, this whole broad horizon that anything goes. Yeah, you just can see for miles and go for miles, and it's awesome. And this another just feel good, bounce around, dance around your living room, have a good time. I woke up with this song in my head so many times.

SPEAKER_00:

Really?

SPEAKER_01:

Like it's so catchy, too. It is, right?

SPEAKER_00:

You're just like pa no rama, da.

SPEAKER_01:

And it and it's just energizing. So I'd wake up feeling actually energized because I've got this song in my head.

SPEAKER_02:

The positive vibes. Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_01:

So it's just so much fun. And I think this, yeah, is a good feel of how they feel together right now. Right. Like the future looks bright, broad, yeah, I get broad horizon, anything goes and see for miles. Yeah. So definitely fun. You'll you'll bounce around, bounce around the house, bounce around the office, bounce around in your car, la la. Yeah. But when they're like, whoa, whoa, it's like you feel like almost like you're on a ride, you know? You're like, just having a good time. Yeah. Not not too extreme, just a nice, gentle, moving along, awesome song.

SPEAKER_03:

And our last song, Encore. Oh, they have to believe that type of song at the end. Because come on, we had, I mean, the from start to finish, we had the roller coaster in the middle, you know, we had the intense, just like, ah, it's finally here. And then the guys just brings it to a roller coaster because they've been ups and down and whatnot, but this one is just like Encore. But even though the album has finished, it's an encore. I mean, we're still gonna continue. I mean, the very light, it's just emotional vocals. Oh my god. I know, right? The vocals in this one, oh, just got my heart. It's just it just combines this just a reflection of them, and as a group, they're just gonna continue. Oh, I don't have much of it because it's just a very emotional song.

SPEAKER_01:

Right. Well, because just the name, Encore, like you said, it's yeah, that's what comes at the end, but it's also sort of a new beginning because they leave you with something else.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes.

SPEAKER_01:

So so that's how this album's ending for you. It's it's not done, there'll be more. It's just yeah, it's gentle, dreamy. The whole beginning is sort of romantic with the piano and their sweet vocals. And then they like halfway through the song, they just swell and it's almost heartbreaking. The the melody is just like you feel you feel the end, but then they sort of bring you back, they soften it down, and gently remind you that it's not the end. There's there's more, it'll keep going, don't worry. You know what I mean? It's very like emotional songs. Very emotional, and it's just it leaves you with a little bit of longing, but you feel the passion in it. So again, you know it's not it's not over. No, it's just sort of closing this particular chapter. This album is right is done. Don't worry, we'll be back. There'll be more. Exactly. This one almost brought me to tears because it was so like beautiful. The up and down in it of these emotions, I don't know. It it left me like, oh, oh.

SPEAKER_03:

It's it's beautiful, beautifully written, and it was by Young Hun. Oh. Our romantic. Very romantic. It's beautifully written. Uh, and again, it's just you know, like you said, it kind of like an ending of a different chapter. Of course, it's a new beginning right now as a five-member group. This is a very well planned album with the songs, the arrangement for Earth for the new fans as well. Well written. I love that a lot of let's see, all the members have actually writing credits in it. Yeah, that's awesome. They had the performance, of course, is A tier, as we know, as have we experienced, even on YouTube, because I mean we have not seen the group personally. We'll love to see them perform. Because, you know, through cameras, different. You know, you get edicts and whatever. It's you can, you know, it's different when we you get to see it.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, and the sound interacts differently with your ears when you're watching a recording versus live music.

SPEAKER_03:

It's I mean it's energy though, because you get to see them move, you know, their energy, you know, just from their vocals. You hear that and the movement, you can feel their energy on that stage. Plus, of course, you're surrounded by fans, which feel you know, you feel their energy speed off of their feelings. That's why we love live shows because the energy is so different. It's just oh we love, love, love, love concerts. And we'll love to see them definitely perform. Because I mean, they're we see them through YouTube and we love what we see. Just imagine if we see them like, oh my god, I know. We're gonna be like, Well, I want more, where's the next show? Where where are we traveling to? We're gonna follow them around, yeah you know, because that's gonna be We'll wait outside, we'll try to listen. You know? So I know some people will say, Well, you guys are biased to this because you love orbit, but you know what? Best not to love. Please give them a chance.

SPEAKER_01:

If you never in this new dynamic now that they're only five, is it does change it. Like you hear hints of the the sound they had before, but they're also they're sort of transitioning to to new sounds, they're experimenting, they're doing a little different. If everybody's writing now, they're putting their own personalities into this.

SPEAKER_03:

So that's why I wanted to reintroduce the group now that there's five members and they have gone through some hurdles, and you know, they have definitely needed to change. I know we have to say some of the members have graduated, so things have to change, the tone's gonna change, but it's worth it look at you know the difference. So that's why I want when I said to you, let's reintroduce the group because now there's a new lineup, and of course, it's gonna be a different sound. This album has given that different sound. Yeah, oh yeah, definitely, and they have matured. No, I mean they were good on like Enchant was really oh I love that album. But I mean progressive after that, and now this album is well, whoa, it's totally different. It's you know, a song for probably everybody here.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah, definitely. Because there's just different styles and different arrangements. Definitely something will catch your ear and you'll say, Oh, hey, I I like that, you know. So give it a listen, definitely. Yes, yes, check it out. All right, see what all our fuss is about.

SPEAKER_03:

Exactly. Exactly. Anyways. So that's his missera. Mm-hmm. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

That's it. You thank you everybody for listening.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, because you know, I'll leave it to Sarah because she's being on hiatus, she's gotta do extra work. Please rate review and share, share, share. Give us five stars. Because we love our constellations and come on, orbit.

SPEAKER_01:

I know, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Come, I mean, how um how fitting is this? You know, plan the boys have a planet. Yeah, come on. Like that's another thing that is sh that is our group. Because they're exactly orbit Earth planets.

unknown:

Come on.

SPEAKER_01:

Anyway. All right, and if you're so inclined, please become a subscriber. So we can go see these guys.

SPEAKER_03:

No well to maintain the podcast, of course. But hey, if you want to hey, invite us, Robert.

SPEAKER_01:

Exactly, right? Yeah. If you need someone to go to the show with you. We need to do a concert experience.

SPEAKER_03:

Come on. We just need a concert experience. We need to do an orbit concert experience. That that's like that's a goal. Those are goals, girl. Those are goals. Definitely. Oh, all right. Well, until next time. Bye bye.
