Five October Drops That Demand A Replay

DJ Panic & Sarah

The right song doesn’t just fill a room—it changes the air. We lined up five October releases that transform a quiet evening into a moving story, from a sidewalk chant to a late‑night sway and a runway‑sharp finale. It’s a ride through J‑pop, K‑pop, R&B, and house where every track owns its moment and then hands the energy to the next.

We kick off with BananaLemon’s We Outside!, a clean, synth‑bright anthem designed to get you out the door and into the crowd. Then BM’s Freak featuring B.I. turns the lights down without losing the heat: whistles, rim hits, and a slow dancehall lean build a sultry pulse while BM’s grit and B.I.’s lift play off each other like sparks meeting fuel. Psychic Fever’s SWISH DAT barrels in with bass and swagger, lacing hip‑hop power with flute textures that nod to its Mask Ninja Akagage theme—proof you can blend traditional color with a modern stomp and make it sound inevitable.

When it’s time to breathe, REIKO’s Maybe slides in—chill house with R&B phrasing, minimalist drums, and an intimate vocal that feels close enough to touch. The lyric tilt toward “live now, worry later” lands softly but sticks. And to close, Hearts2Hearts’ Focus hits that retro‑house piano riff you swear you’ve heard on a catwalk somewhere, lined with disco strings and a heartbeat bass. The hook rides on confidence, not sugar, with harmonies that snap the whole mix into a glossy, high‑fashion stride.

We also talk sequencing—how these five songs create a seamless night‑out arc—and why headphones reveal the hidden layers. Queue it up, move with it, and then tell us what grabbed you first.

SPEAKER_01:

Welcome everybody to another episode of Music Elixir with me, Sarashi and Misty Japanic.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. It's the last day, but mana, you know, since we're we're here on air, on air.

SPEAKER_01:

I was gonna say, yeah, it's three days, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. Actually started look um I always forget and I always do a deep dive on it. Uh apparently starts on October 27th. Oh, really? Like preparations for the festivities. And uh, but the official day was on the 1st. November 1st. Yep. And then ends on November 2nd, which today is November 2nd. Oh and guess what's happening on November 3rd?

SPEAKER_01:

Anniversary for one of our faves. Well rants and rambling on that one. So it's also my work anniversary, just so you know. Nah. Yeah. Wow. What are the odds? That's all cool. I know, right? Yeah. I was like, hey, that's awesome. Oh my. So how many years now? 17. Wow. Right? Yes, 17 years. Wow. I know, right? That's cray cray. Wow.

SPEAKER_00:

I got longevity. Oh my goodness. Wow. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_01:

Yep.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Wow. It's crazy, but it's awesome. Yeah. It is. So just to just to let you know, guys, that she is, you know, um truthful to the workplace. Of course, if you treat her nice. I that's why I say if you know, if they treat you good, you know, you'll stay longer. You know, there's a junk longevity. There's not a turnover like some companies. Well, even in within the company, you know, that had happened.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, well, you know, it just it depends on you and the position you're in and how you deal with the uh, you know, company politics, I guess. Right. We'd call it.

SPEAKER_00:

That's right. All the employees. Anyways, we're not here to talk about work. No. We're gonna be talking about some five awesome songs that actually debuted uh not debuted, released in October. Um, no debuted bands this time. No. Uh these are are actually recurrent groups that we have listened to. One of them we actually interviewed one of the members. Yes, we did. Now we never talked about two of them on the podcast. No, made me three. Well, one of them I thought is kind of new.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay. The the fifth single we had, that group's fairly new. Yes. So we've never talked anything about them at all.

SPEAKER_00:

Which they have debuted. Now they have quite some. Oh God. We got we should do a deep dive because I really enjoyed that song.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it was fun. Definitely. All right. You guys will get to learn about it in a few. Exactly.

SPEAKER_00:

So it's gonna be what? Two girl groups. Yes. A and two soloists, and then one boy group.

SPEAKER_01:

A. A.

SPEAKER_02:

All right.

SPEAKER_01:

And they're one of our we we talk about them fairly frequently too. Yes, we do. They we love their work and we got to see them as well. So oh my god. Awesome, right?

SPEAKER_00:

I love it. That was like my event of the year. Yeah so far. It has been my most favorite like event of the year.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, oh yeah, definitely. Well, because it was so intimate, you know.

SPEAKER_00:

It was a really not that Jin wasn't not. Oh I mean, we love our gin, you know, but that's a completely you know, it was kind of like a same experience as we do with other shows, but this the that one. Well, we'll talk more when we talk about the group. So might as well just say today, I'm gonna go try and say who we are talking about on the groups or the and the soloists that are we are chatting today. So we have uh for our talk talk, banana lemon. This is the group that we we introduced uh actually and also the interview. Yes. Uh we spoke with Sarah from Banana Lemon. Yes, please check that interview, she was really cool. Yeah, we are all also gonna be talking about uh BM's new single featuring BI, then psychic fever. Yeah, that's the event that I so much love. Also, we're going to talk about Reiko and the newest group from SM Hearts to Hearts. So, yeah, alright. Because I I want to do more banter with each individual single. I don't want to keep keep my mouth shut.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay. Alright, alright, all right. Are we gonna go in the order that we had him? Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_01:

That works.

SPEAKER_00:

All right. So are you ready, Mr.? I believe I am, yes. Okay, here we go. So let's talk about banana lemon and their newest song now. We Outside. It's been a while since the girls have dropped a new new music. It's been quite some time, but maybe a year or more. So We Outside was released on October 10th. And I like this is like I want to say classic banana lemon. Yeah, you know, the the the uplifting, anthem-like energy. The title, We Outside. I like the intro because it's like, Where are you at?

SPEAKER_02:

Where you at? We outside.

SPEAKER_00:

It's like, hey, you know, like I'm not gonna be, I'm not inside, I'm outside. Let's go. Um, I like the boldness, the outgoing tone, the ready to embrace the world when they're like, We outside. I like the production, it supports their vibes, bright synth, the driving beats, and of course, as always, the group's vocals, confidence, those lines. Yeah, very banana lemon that we love. So that blend of like neo, J Pop, RB, and hip-hop that they always give. I like that they like to have that appeal for the international fans. Is that something that's why that we like The Revive? Because they have that international feel, you know, outside, even though still the J-pop, but the RB and hip-hop influences given them that. Of course, the party-like song, the celebratory mood, the emphasizing hooks, like the we're going out and we're together, it's just love it. You know, if you it's the uh a song to get you ready when yeah to go outside. It's it's a good one for fans who are they're fans, they just you know like how um I'll bet they'll like the evolution of the group because it kind of kind of sounds different than the previous tracks.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah, definitely.

SPEAKER_00:

You know? So if you are new to banana lemon, please give this give this one a chance. This is it will get you moving. It's so upbeat, it's so it's just it's it's fantastic. It's just it's mesmerizing at times too.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, I was gonna say it's I like how the the opening is sort of like almost like crunky, you know, like yeah, and then where you at We Outside, like you were saying, catchy hooks and great vocals. It's really clubby, but sort of in a retro way. Yes. So it's definitely party anthem, just having a good time. This is not even necessarily about being outside, but just being out and having a good time partying together. The electronic beats in this are great. Overall, I I mean, just the sound catches you. Yes, it really just grabs you, and it's so awesome. That bass they got in there is like uh huh. And yeah, this is a fun-loving, good time song. I the the way they chant things, like when they do the B-A-N-A-N-A-L-E-M-O-N. You know, like they're just having a good time, they're having fun. And that's sort of the general vibe, is just to be like, we're going out and we're gonna just enjoy ourselves. We want everybody to come along. You know, it's like very inviting. Yes. Like we outside. So we outside. Join us. We outside. Yeah, yeah. It's it's so much fun, and it does blend that whole J pop, hip hop, and the RB.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because the girls do have some all the pipes when it comes to the melodic parts. Yes, oh yeah, definitely. Yes, yes, yes. So that's awesome, you know. It yeah, it is a celebration, you know. We outside, we know we're out doing things, we're bold, we're awesome, you know. Let's go for it and just hang out and be joyful. And uh it was a it is had that joyful anthem feel.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely, just in confidence, like yes, we're gonna do what we want to do because we outside.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, come have fun, join us, you know. Just just awesome, awesome mood. It does put you in a good mood. You know, it's like a get ready to vibe with them, you know. Oh, yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_01:

And it's just it's like so danceable, and you can sort of see like just almost not quite a line dance thing, but you know, like a group movement going on, everybody just having the same groove going on and saying, Yeah, we outside. You know what I mean? It's just it's got a really good group feel to it. Yes, inclusive, they're including everybody, yeah. It's awesome.

SPEAKER_00:

Let's go, everybody. Hang out. Awesome, awesome girls, thank you. Yes, that's really cool. So, are you ready for the next song? Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01:

All right, this this one caught me like all the time. I was just like, oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I asked before starting recording, I asked Sarah which one got stuck in your head, and she was like, BM freak. Yes, featuring B I, which that was cool. Yes, definitely cool. Girl, the teasers were this. I'm like, oh jeez.

SPEAKER_01:

Wow. Well, wow. We had talked about, I don't know if it was actually in the broadcast we did last time, but just seeing the little reels and stuff, I was like, oh, bring in the fire. This boy likes to do this. This just he just loves to do this. Well, remember when we all used to work together and he had posted some. I mean, this was years ago, but he had posted something, and you showed one of our friends, and she was like, Oh, yes, please.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my god, remember. Well, what which song was that?

SPEAKER_01:

She was like, Who is that? We were like, Big Matthew. She's like, Oh, okay. Yes, please.

SPEAKER_00:

Goes by BM. Big Matthew. He is a tall guy. Mm-hmm. He is, and his name is Matthew. And of course, uh, his physique, another one who's allergic to fabric.

SPEAKER_01:

I know, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01:

I don't think he had a shirt on in any of those little clips.

SPEAKER_00:

Many, many, many, many, many, many years ago when Juano was with Monster X. Monster, uh uh, so Wano and BM met at a gym. I don't know if there's gotta be pictures around. Somebody had to have to save those. But BM and Wano were taking selfies at the gym. Oh the gym bros, you know, they were like, you know, pumping iron, they were like, you know, flexing in front of mirrors, but of course, taking selfies, and you oh my goodness. Of course, you know, as I said before, you know, BM, he is taller, so of course, our wano's shorter. So you it's Wano's up front, and then you got BM flexing in the back, like, uh, oh jeez, those two boys. Those two just somebody please, if you know what I'm talking about, can you please share those pictures? It's been years. I know it was years ago. Years. I want to say 2018, maybe 2017. Yeah, 2018. It yeah. Yeah, it's that's what I say, many, many, many, many moves ago. But I was just like, waah. Okay, enough. We're here to talk about freak. I know, I know, just got too excited because oh my god, this boy. Oh my god, the beat of the song, the cloud ready atmosphere, oh my god, and the strong, let's go. Oh, please. It's just his voice is so sweet. So I oh can I talk? No, it's just thinking about it, thinking of the song, and thinking about the video. So if you're not gonna watch the video for this, it's something you have to watch the video for this. It's just like whoo my god, the performance, his strength on like his dance moves on the video. I know I'm talking about the song, but the video, oh my god. I cannot wait to see him on December 14th. I know at the Webster. That's gonna be crazy. Oh my god. But his voice, you know, very smooth and like uh just La Labia, like I like to say. You know, his delivery, you know, very smooth. And it's like, match my freak. Deep and rich. Yes. I do like when uh BM comes in and does his BI comes in.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Sorry, no BM, that's what I'm thinking as BM. BI comes in, comes in, add this like layer of brightness because his voice a little higher, but you know, his intonation is different. It's the the the vocalslash rap texture, because she kind of gave you also more a bit more melodic sometimes. Oh that helps the tracks just like stand out a little bit more. And of course, BM in the background style. Oh, yes, you know, boosting up B BI's vocals as well. Jesus, it's just so so smooth, so good. It's just I can't wait for the visuals for this. I know I can't wait. You know, so if if you're a listener that's going out, this is uh definitely a night out anthem, and the track has this swagger and bold energy, it's just delivers.

SPEAKER_02:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00:

Mmm.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay. Enough. Well, I was gonna say, I like that it's got sort of um the carnival feel about it because he's got those whistles, you know, in the background and the the rim tap cymbal, hi hat, t you know. But the so it's it's like a a slow-moving party train, right? Because it's not a hyper music, it's it's very sultry, but in a kind of rough way. Roughly this is a smooth, yeah, well, no, because you think about BM's voice when he's like, mm-mm, you know. When BI comes in, it's definitely the the smoother, higher vocal. But this the way the music switches up partway and goes into sort of a a dreamy, I don't know, spacey, ethereal kind of feel to it. And then he says, Bring it back, and it goes back to that dunt, dunt, dunt with the the whistles and everything. It's really, it's cool. It's very cool. I like the way they arranged it. The the sounds are so captivating. That's why this was the one that was stuck to me. It was like, what is this? You know what I mean? Crazy, just really good energy. I love the way, come match my freak. Like, just the things they're saying are so that's why I say it's like a little rough, right? Because it's like, come match my freak. And you're naughty, and you got me feeling this way and that way. But again, when they they do that sort of dreamy music, and then BM comes in and says, Bring it back. I I love it. So it just I don't know if it's sort of the way it's repetitive, so it just sort of keeps you moving along, but not repetitive in a like, oh, where's this going kind of way? You're like, it just drives you forward. Not like a rushed party song, it's like a slow-moving, mmm, dun, dun, d, dun, d. I just again stuck in my head all the time. I love driving to it too, because it's just like you've got that like almost low rider feeling about it, you know, like slow and steady, just being cool. Here I am.

SPEAKER_00:

I do like that, you know, the the Caribbean type of dance hall and the groove.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that's why I was saying it sort of reminded me of like Carnival. It's like that the parade, slow-moving party through town. That's what this is. Just awesome. Yes. And they're they their vocals work really great together. Oh yeah. The the contrast, you know. So awesome, awesome song.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, the it's yes, it is an awesome song. I completely agree with you. Oh my goodness. The video two. Yes, awesome. But, anyways, are you ready for the next song? I'm still move. I can hear it in my head. I'm moving. Some of who are new to the podcast, just want to let you know that Sarah and I listen to these songs for like a week straight. That's the only thing that we're you know, listening and repeat, and then we give our thoughts and opinions, and then we deep do a little bit of deep dive depending on the song that we like. So we like give you a little bit more of it. But uh, yes. So that's why we're we when we talk about it, it just it comes back into our minds of like, oh, this beat and that, and blah blah blah. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_01:

You you're replaying it in your head.

SPEAKER_00:

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01:

When we do it this way, we don't have to listen and and comment because we've got it right there. Exactly.

SPEAKER_00:

We were trying, we our lives were so busy that we were doing a listen to it the first time and then we talk about it. But now things have changed and have calmed down a bit, so now we have more time to do these uh deep dives. Also, if I did not mention the uh the freak song was released on October 20th. Ah, okay. Yes. So I know we said the release for Banana Lemon's We Outside. So now, are you ready for the next song?

SPEAKER_01:

I am.

SPEAKER_00:

Alright. This group, uh G, we got so up close, and well, not personal, but we got up close. Well, in our heads, in our the Lulu heads, we became personal. Personal, yeah. Because oh my god. It's gonna be psychic fever's swish dad. That was released on October 25th, so it's fairly new right now on the charts. And of course, this is now their 10th digital single. Yeah. Yeah. So this track is actually the opening theme for uh Japanese TV show Mask Ninja Akagage. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. And of course I saw the video because you know that psychic fever are well known for not just only vocals and their rappers, because there's more rappers on the this group, but their dance performance.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, definitely their visuals while they're dancing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

They're I mean, just they're all around performers. Definitely. Oh my goodness. So this song, switch that, of course, is packed with infection in infectious infectious bass. You know, I try to give some vocals, try to like change my vocabulary, but I can't even say the word correctly. You know, infectious bass, if I can say that right. And of course, they're har they're hip-hop and RB, because they always give that vibe, and they do that so well. Oh, they do that so well. It's definitely catchy. Come on, it's an earworm. Oh my god. You know, I started to freak out when I heard the first line that it was Jimmy.

SPEAKER_01:

I know. Oh my god, you can you can always tell Jimmy.

SPEAKER_00:

I know there was like there was like, you know, there was some swish that, swish that, and I'm like, okay, who was that? But then when you start hearing Jimmy's, I'm like, what?

unknown:

What? Jimmy!

SPEAKER_00:

Can you tell he's my bias? Oh my god, Jimmy's dynamic vocals kick things off. Yay! I was so happy. I was like, oh my god, I'm freaking out. I got like the goosebumps and everything. Oh, anyways, the punchy beats. Can you tell? I'm so excited about this group. The catchy hooks. Another one with catchy hooks, of course. Yeah, and of course, there's some moments that you have like the unit, you know, like the vocals. We have Wisa, Kokoro. Oh my god, and Ren with the melodic voices that give that R and B line so sweet, RMG, so good. But of course, you got our rappers, Surugi, Ryushin, Ryoga, and Jimmy. My god. Oh, those distinct rap vocals, and you can tell who's who, of course. Of course, you can tell who Jimmy is.

SPEAKER_01:

I just guess he's he's the most identifiable.

SPEAKER_00:

Jeez, his voice his voice just goes in there. I'm like freaking out. You know, they drive that that that that the rap line or the rap unit is just like drives in the energy, the attitude, the power, and that bass. You know, we love that bass. And that song really has that bass. They're just I know. I'm gonna talk about the video. Their moves, because come on, I can't wait. I there's gotta be a dance performance for this because their choreo is so good. So, but anyways, I love them. I know, I love them. I think they're ready for the big leagues. They should be going like on bigger stages, they're so good. But of course, I don't know if you I'm being biased because I have seen we have seen them, you know, that meet and greet that they came to Boston. They should be ready to move on to like bigger stages. For my this is what I you know, my opinion. I think they are ready. But that song, it's another anthem for Club and come on.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yeah, absolutely. You know, well I was gonna say because they they've got the personality and the presence to to do bigger stages, like you said. They they have an energy that just reaches out to you, grabs you. This song though, uh Jimmy's like deep, smoky voice is just so awesome for that opening, that rap opening. I think that all of their like rap and vocal skills are really showcased so well in this. They've got great hip hop elements, but then they also, if you listen to the music in the background, they've got sort of some classical like that flute, this blending of of old and new sounds, which they do in other songs as well. But like I really sort of caught those little background sounds, and as you were saying that strong, strong bass just pushing this song forward. These guys, I I think that they blend, like I said, the rap and vocal when they do their individual stuff is awesome, but when they sort of blend it all, oh yeah, just incredible, amazing. And I think everybody sort of plays around with different aspects of sounds, which is cool too. So this is just another grabber. It it's you're like, you can't help but move to it, you can't help but sing along to it. It's just mesmerizing. Another mesmerizing song. I think that's my word of the day.

SPEAKER_00:

Whoever produced this definitely knew how their vocals, their strengths, and they used to definitely on each line of song and definitely giving that mood for that TV show. Yeah, mass ninja aca, you know, they're giving it a little bit.

SPEAKER_01:

I can see how it it works into that. Right. You know, I think with the the flutes, the those classical sounds in the background, but the modern edge to it is perfect for I don't know what the show is.

SPEAKER_00:

Or ninjas.

SPEAKER_01:

But if it's ninjas, yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_00:

It's gonna be is it's I it's one of those action dramas.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay, yeah. So that's why. But yeah, so you can you get that feel from this song. Yeah. You you can see some ninjas moving around and oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And of course, you know, for the ambiance or to give it that feel of the whole, you know, ninja time, you know, masks, you know, whatever. The video has that, you know, they actually record it on a temple. Oh, cool.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. Well, that explains, you know, some of the feel to it. Yes, definitely. So that's awesome. I didn't watch the video, so I don't know.

SPEAKER_00:

I did because I just needed to see it. I know lately I've been watching the videos just because or actually just pop up. Well, the fans so they're like, oh my god, did you panic? Look, it's the blah blah blah.

SPEAKER_01:

And I was like, oh well, you know, anyone I follow, yeah, on YouTube, it's like, hey, new video. And but I've I haven't had time to like sit and watch videos. That's the problem. I'm like, oh, I want to see that.

SPEAKER_00:

So the fans, the fans, you know, the listeners, they're like, did you panic hear the video? I was like, what do you think? It's like, you know, so it's like I need to interact with the listeners. Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_01:

So well, and that's easier than you know, getting a notification and then four hours later trying to find the video that Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I there's like hundreds of I no, I love it when they do that because I like to interact with every you know, all the fans. You know, they have their opinions. I have my opinions, and you know, and they know which one, you know, they listen to the podcast, so they're like, they're like, oh my god, I think it heard Jimmy. I was like, oh my god, I'm like, okay. And I'm like, oh geez, thanks. Wow. Wow.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, no, this was this was definitely sort of a swaggery attitude kind of swish down.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, they are all so good. In that video, please, their attitude, they're oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

Which is so funny because when we saw them in person, they were so fun-loving and playful. You know what I mean? Yeah, you know, they had their moments if they had to whatever they were performing, but for the most part, they're very personable. So here in this attitude is just sort of funny.

SPEAKER_00:

You know, it's it's you know, it's their performance for this song, you know. They gotta change into that, you know, uh-uh-uh. You know, because as you know, Surugi is so like such a fun character, you know. He's like over the top, he's like all like smiles and like you know, so but on this time you look at him, you're like, whoa, what? He's not wearing a cowboy hat. Oh no, so it's completely different. Oh girl.

SPEAKER_01:

I'll have to check it out.

SPEAKER_00:

You remember that time that he took his hat off just to, you know, and we saw his hair. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Beautiful, smooth, oh my god, flowy, like flowy, even though it wasn't long, you know?

SPEAKER_00:

You know those, you know, slow-mo that cameras do when people take their hat off and then their hair they shake their hair out. Yeah, that's what I was seeing when he did that. I'm like, in my head, it's like slow-mo. He's like, Fwa, fwa. I'm like, oh my god. An angel saying glistening sweat. Oh, he did look so good. He did. What happened? Just on that, those few seconds, we're like, that's how he is. Oh, okay. Yeah, he's my second bias, bias record. But of course, something will happen. I'll be like, oh my god, you shouldn't.

SPEAKER_01:

I've said it before. My favorite's always whoever's in front of me. Well, yeah. Whoever's got my focus, you know, my attention at the moment, that's my favorite.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I don't suppose we'll just say that.

SPEAKER_01:

Because it's crazy. Yeah. You know, if if they've got a good personality and they've got great stage presence and everything, you can't help but be drawn to it. Exactly. You know what I mean? So like so I don't know how people pick a favorite. You know, other than when I take those little quizzes and they tell me who my who your favorite is. And they so I'm like, okay, well, the based on this, that's my bias. But let me tell you, I like them all.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my god. Okay. All right, is you gonna have some water on this one? Because I'm like, what? Okay. Moving on to the next song. Yes. All right. This solo artist have been on OK Asia's playlist nonstop. Every time that he drops a new single, the fans are all on top of it and always been on my third hour, which is the most most requested. So we are going to chat about Reiko song Maybe. Now this was released on October 20th, and Reiko is actually a solo artist from the BMS and G group. Because I know, but for some reason I always like mixed up the words. You got it right. Okay, great. Okay, okay. So uh, but like I was saying, he's a solo artist. He dropped that song called Maybe um from previous songs. There's one song that he, of course, I forgot about, I forgot the title, but it have more of like Caribbean vibes, and I was like, yeah, I'm really loving this song. His vocals are amazing though. I'm glad that he is solo though. I don't know how he will do as in a group, but as a solo artist, he can pull it. Yeah, you'd have to get three. He can definitely pull it. The right blend of sounds together. Yeah. So the song that I like about this is like his delivery is soft, soft yet confident. Also, the production, oh, the production just fits very well. His tone expressed both like vulnerability and just strength. Um, the lyrical theme of like overcoming doubt because it's like maybe, you know, like even it's it's like there's some doubts, but we're working on it. From the little bit of English that I was able to like check out, I liked his like just a very strong single for him. Showcases his like artistic growth from like other songs that I have heard about him, but also the song hits you know the vocal quality, the modern production, the emotional connection, and um just the future focus ambition. So if you are actually new listener for him who enjoys like chill uh chill house vibes or expressive vocals, I highly recommend this one.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, no, this I highly recommend this one. It's definitely it's got that the slow, steady start that focuses on those vocals and then sort of gets a little club, you know, dance influence, but not real heavy. It just sort of slowly moves you into it. It's got some RB feel to it. Like simple beats, but good movement and that wavy synth. At first I was like, is there something wrong with my speakers? You know, I was like, did I have the volume up too? But then I was like, oh wait, no, that's ha that's meant to be in there. So it's sort of it's this funky sort of wave going on in it, but he just he's got a natural groove. Like this comes easy to him. I I don't know. It's it's so effortless. When I said that he in a group, I don't think he belongs, but definitely as a solo artist, he's very strong vocals for he would stand out too much, I think, in a group, like would be too too separate, too individual. So it's just like yeah, I don't know. It was just very easy to listen to. And like you were saying that the stuff with the maybe saying tired of all this same shit.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

What was one of it? Oh, we just want to party till dawn, because like maybe tomorrow isn't gonna come. Uh maybe we won't all be here at the same time tomorrow. You know what I mean? Like, I think it's sort of this feeling of like, let's just go with what we got now, because maybe everything will be different, you know? Yeah. So enjoy the moment. Yeah, we we don't know what will come tomorrow, so let's and the and it has that feel to it. It's just sort of like, you know, we're just gonna go with it, go with the flow, have a good time while we can. And yeah, I mean, everything just is so again effortless with him. I it there's no like straining to hit a note, there's no forcing any sounds, it's just true emotion coming through while he's singing. It's awesome. Yes, it's probably right, it's the most laid-back song on the list that we have.

SPEAKER_00:

It's definitely chill house. Yeah, it has the chill house vibes. It's yeah, definitely be at home, chill out, you know, or just even cruising. Yeah, just cruising, grooving around. Like, yeah, it's yeah, very nice, easy going, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

I like it.

SPEAKER_00:

Very strong, very strong single for him because it's been a while since he's uh dropped a single. I think he's working on an EP, don't quote me on it, but I I'm hoping he is. He's due for an EP or an album, actually, but I really don't know his schedule and what's going on with his production. But yeah, Rako has um amazing vocals, very awesome. Please check him out. Definitely.

SPEAKER_01:

This is a good little intro song because you can hear everything very well, very clearly, so you know you're getting the true sound. I like that. I like that. All right.

SPEAKER_00:

Ready for the next song?

SPEAKER_01:

The last song, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, last but not least, we're talking about hearts to hearts, focus, newest girl from SM Entertainment. And this song, oh my god, I love the piano. This piano, I love this piano sound because it gives me high fashion. I all I can think of is like runway and high fashion, everybody like uh, you know, but it it's it's so dancy and catchy, and the violins and a little bit of disco in there as well. You know, the track drives right into smooth house and deep house vibes. Come on, especially with that riff. Love that piano. I like that the whole like bass, of course. Yes, it has that punch bass. Yes, you know, it has this the piano has that catchy vintage, like it's like a retro.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, it reminded me of something, it's almost like it's a sample. Yeah, kept almost getting it, and then I was like, I don't know. It's uh but it's awesome, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

That riff runs throughout the whole song, it pairs very well with that just clean bass that we love. It was rucking me out, girl. I was rucking out like, hey, hey, I was moving around you know, but it's not like over the top, you know. It's just it has also cool and just confidence. This song has cool and confidence to it, even though the lyrics sound a little crackrape, you know, but lyrically, the song captures I can't focus on anything but you exactly. You know, the song captures that magnetic feel, you know, like uh, uh, I'm into you. So um also you know, very uh like the I like the bass that has like a heartbeat, something you know, felt that now you like that. I'm like, I I'm sure Sarah's gonna be saying that, but I'm gonna say it first. Because it does have that, and of course, because of the lyrics, you know, only focus on you. But I'm also thinking they're only focused on their fans. That could be, yeah. Because there's a part that always says, all lies on us. I'm like, oh, I see what you're doing there. I see what you're doing there. You're like trying to say, I'm only about you guys because hello, I want you to focus on me.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, I was gonna say it could also just be I'm only focused on you and everybody's focused on us out on the dance floor. It could be a couple of different things, yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, but love, love, love this song. Uh what I like about this song is not your typical bright bubblegum track, you know, that some girls give out there. Not that there's nothing wrong with it, but you know, we like our confidence attitude, ladies, you know. So that's what that's what I love about this song. It just feels like a real upgrade, and just love the uh focus on you, but really uh just focus on me, you know. That catchy line, it was always in my head when I wake up and I'm like, okay, it's on you. I was like, okay, okay, but yeah, love this girl. I know it's from the album. Maybe we'll do a deep dive on the girls too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

I was I was thinking that too. I was like, we should do a deep dive on the girls, definitely. Because there's there's eight of them, so there's a lot of people. Oh my god, yes, you know to to look at and talk about.

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, we're like seven members, we're like, oh, eight, we're like, oh, I mean, I just got used to snowman, right? And then there's another group that is so many girl, you know, so many members that you're just like, okay, let's try.

SPEAKER_01:

Brain, let's work, wherever. Yeah. But considering there's eight of them, yes, their vocal ranges are good, they blend well together. Oh my goodness, yes. Their harmonies are awesome. I love the you're all I'm needing. You're all I'm seeing. You're all I'm needing. You're all I'm seeing.

SPEAKER_00:

Like the crankway part is like how you can see.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that's that that piano part is definitely. I was like, it's reminding me of something. So it's got that definite retro jazzy feel to it. Yep. They got the hi-hat symbol going on in the background. Um, funky funky bass. And just funky synth, too, you know, when it blends with that piano. Like they got some crazy, crazy sound going on. It but it's just this is definitely uh like a club anthem. Like everybody's gonna be out there dancing, and I cannot focus on anyone but you. Yeah, yes. It's just fun, like you said, attitude, confidence. Another one that's full of this like uplifting energy. Yes. Like you you want to move, you want to be part of the party, you want to be out there dancing, you want to be in the scene with these people because they're just having a good time, and the music is just pumping, keeps you going. It's awesome from from start to finish, too. Because it's like they've got some really cool transitions between that and then it's like I you know what it sort of was like um those cheesy 70s TV shows that we grew up with, you know, in reruns, like the theme songs. Like you're like, oh, it's like a little like I don't know, smooth and sort of sassy, and you're like, oh yeah. It was just fun though, fun, right? Yes, it drew you into whatever you were gonna be watching. You were like, I love this song. So that's how this is.

SPEAKER_00:

Like, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, and I got a little faked out at the beginning when the the man's voice is there. I was like, what? But then but then the girls came in and it was all I I was all right with the world. So but yeah, no, this is just fun. Like it brought so many different feelings and emotions and memories to me because of the sound and the feeling of it, and just it was just so much fun. It really was. I was like, I can't help dancing with you, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, you know what I mean. Well, these songs that uh we pick definitely are all danceable. Oh, yeah, yeah. They are all danceable, even from just K01, even it's mellow, but still you feel like you you know, you move to it.

SPEAKER_01:

I was gonna say different levels of of feeling and and movement, different moods for your every mood of the day, every mood of your commute, however you're listening to it, you know. Yeah, and again, always use your headphones because these have like hidden sounds and oh yeah, and things going on that you're just like production's so deep, yeah. Awesome. Like all this stuff on BM and BI's freak there. Yeah, like you really gotta lit. There is so much going on in there.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yeah, the layers on it.

SPEAKER_01:

You're like, Whoa.

SPEAKER_00:

The layers on that song. I like you know, I want to say, you know, use this playlist for and you wanna go out. Yeah. Because you start like, we outside, then you get freaked by BM, you know, it's like, hey, you found somebody you want to get freaked with. Then switch that it's like switch that it's like, hey, hey, let's dance.

SPEAKER_01:

You're in the full swing of the party at that point. Exactly.

SPEAKER_00:

The maybe is like, oh no, no, maybe we'll hang out. Maybe, maybe, maybe, you know, whatever. But then you get focused because you're really focused on this person. I'm like, I'm focusing on you. That's your that's your last big push of the night. Good playlist. Yes, definitely. You know, get that mentality on it.

SPEAKER_01:

Or even like I said, even just driving around, it's great for driving. I know. It just keeps you going.

SPEAKER_00:

I was just moments, you know, like oh yeah. Oh yeah, I was cranking that every day my way to work, my way home. Yeah, you know, even at dinner time, and I'm like, oh, let's play this. You know, families are like, oh, this, this, this, this. And I'm like, yeah. I'm just just just tonight. Just play it, please. Huh. We have fun. I have fun. You have fun. Oh, yeah, definitely.

SPEAKER_01:

No, these were great songs.

SPEAKER_00:

This was a fun playlist. Love it.

SPEAKER_01:

SPEAKER_00:

I'm not gonna say, but thank you for sending those requests on the musical elixir form. So, not the mu not this is not okay, Asia. Music elixir form, please leave it over there.
