Arashi Tour Shockwaves

The news finally dropped: ARASHI is back on tour and the dates are all in Japan. We dive straight into the emotional whiplash of a long-awaited comeback that feels thrilling up close but far away from most of the world. From the first wave of trending headlines to the logistics nobody wants to think about lotteries, residency checks, hotel surges, and the cost of a last-chance pilgrimage.
We look at the options that could turn frustration into access. A final-night livestream is the most realistic bridge, and Arashi has done it before with smooth, online global ticketing. Theater events sound romantic, but time zones get messy; a live home stream with a replay window might be the fairest path. We also explore models other artists used limited international ticket waves, travel bundles, and verified queues and how a similar blueprint could complement the fan club lottery without overwhelming venues. The line in Arashi’s statement about bringing “enjoyment to all our fans” becomes our north star: not a promise, but a meaningful hint.
Along the way, we share the on-the-ground tactics fans are already considering: traveling for the atmosphere and merch even without tickets, tapping local friends for lottery entries, building flexible itineraries, and setting firm guardrails to avoid risky resales. We balance that with what keeps hope alive memories of the hiatus-era openness, and the simple truth that this group has surprised global fans before. If there’s one more surprise to come, a well-executed stream or a small pool of international seats could change everything.
Listen, share with your fandom circles, and tell us: what would make this tour feel truly global? And if this helped, subscribe, leave a review, and tag a friend who needs to hear it.

Rants, Rambling, And A Reveal
SPEAKER_00Welcome everybody to another episode of Music Elixir with me, Satish, and Ms.
SPEAKER_01DJ Panic. That sounded so uh, I don't know, blase. Like you got something on your mind, and you're letting it show through your introduction of yourself.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Yes, yes, yes. So this is gonna be a rants and rambling. We're gonna be doing some rants and some ramblings on this one. That's really a lot of ranting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
Arashi’s Japan-Only Tour Announced
SPEAKER_02A lot of ranting. Because on well, what on November 22nd? Are we just gonna go deep, just go right ahead and talk about it? Jump right into it. On November 22nd at 4 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, there was an announcement from Arashi. Arashi? Arashi. With their tour dates. And they're all in Japan.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Only what, like technically five places, six actual tour stops, but they're doing it.
SPEAKER_02Tokyo Dome is gonna be twice. Twice, yeah.
SPEAKER_01They're doing it in the sort of early stage and then circling back around to it. Yeah. So they're doing what? Hokkaido, Tokyo, uh, Nagoya, Osaka, and then back to Tokyo. If I'm reading right, you know, translation. Yeah. They did translate their announcement.
SPEAKER_02Right. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01So Saporo Hokkaido.
Fan Reactions And Trending Chaos
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Kuoka, Osaka, and then Tokyo. Yeah. They're gonna end it in Tokyo on May 31st. And uh yeah. International fans feel very jaded, salty, mad, sad. Um, they were heavily trending today on uh November 23rd. I even screenshot it. It's so funny because I I went on X Witter at 555 and screenshot it. Oh, look, Arashi is trending 38.4k. Heavily, heavily. So I clicked on it to see what's going on. I'm like, oh, this is not good. The tweets are are very out there and savage and angry.
SPEAKER_01Well, there a lot of the ones I saw where Martyr sort of like resigned saying we weren't getting much and now we're not getting anything. You know, people may not know we had uh what we like to call a lost episode. We had actually talked a week ago, maybe a week before that announcement happened. Talking about, you know, when are we gonna get an announcement? What's going on? We haven't heard anything, like no crumbs, nothing. Because as far as I can tell, even the fan club stuff hasn't been like highly updated. Right. They've gotten those little videos that we knew about but couldn't see. Right. But I don't even feel like that's been that frequent. So we were, you know, questioning what's going on. When's this gonna happen? What's happening? How is it happening? And and then boom, before we could release that episode, they dropped this announcement. So we're like, well, there's not much point in talking about what's gonna happen when they finally told us. But yeah, we've been noticing on Twitter there's this odd mix of happy for you but disappointed.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Some people are like, Well, that's it. Thank you for everything. And others are like, How could you?
Hopes For Livestreams And Access
SPEAKER_01Well, and did they say anything? I read the article, but it was short. Not anything even about a live stream. We're hoping that they will do one. Right. And I would think maybe the very last show in Tokyo don't, but they didn't actually even mention that.
SPEAKER_02So I'm reading verbatim from their ex-Twitter. This is Arashi's ex-Twitter. Um I'm reading the English portion where it says, Thank you so much for your constant support. We have sincerely apologized for having kept you waiting such a long time, but we're finally able to announce the details of Arashi's concert tour. The tour title is Arashi Live Tour 2026. We are Arashi. We will continue to think about how to bring enjoyment to all our fans, and we will be thrilled if you could keep running alongside us right to the very end. Can of veg, either this is it, or maybe they're gonna think and do something else. Again, yeah. Like you said, crumbs. Well, I asked for crumbs and that's what they gave me. Literally. See? You put it out there in the universe, bro. No, I mean, I did by the way that thing they made managing, I have put it out there that they were just not gonna tour out the US, that they were gonna tour out in the US. Look at me, leave Japan, right? That this was gonna be only Japan just because how they were doing announcements and doing things only with fan clubs, and I was like, this is feeling already like a cold shoulder.
SPEAKER_01Well, I the ever-optimist in me was like, well, maybe. But deep down, I really because they've been on hiatus for so long, and trying to put something together like this like would be nearly impossible to bring global, anyways, because they've all been doing their own thing, live living their lives and stuff, and as much as they stay in contact and hang out, that's not the same as working together 24-7 as a group. So they're fitting this into their lives to give the fans something, but it's also leaving fans sort of lost, you know?
SPEAKER_02Like, uh another thing that I put out there in the universe is that they might release tickets for international fans. Hopefully, I'm putting it out there, just hopefully, that after they have taken care of the fan club, that maybe there's like, hey, let's just see if we can get some international, it was originally only fan club bundles, and then they opened it to the general population.
The Fan Club Lottery Maze
SPEAKER_01So, yes, that would be awesome. That could be something you gotta know a little in advance, right? Because as international fans trying to get to Japan is in and of itself a heavy task.
SPEAKER_02So But when you know when you're a fan, you'll go for it. You will do it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Another one is that maybe towards the end it'll be like, hey, we're doing the live stream of your of the last show, which has been doable, other groups have done it. Not saying names because this is all about Arashi now, but it's done, it could be done, it can be done, where they can live stream their last concert in theaters around the world.
SPEAKER_01Well, or even because um for their RFS and for the final this is Arashi, those live streams were through the fan club, but through the open, like international not the the pay for private information, but just the sort of general club site. You could buy the the viewing tickets there to watch it because that's what we were doing. That's what I was doing was buying the the general admission viewing tickets, and then we were watching the live stream that way. Yes, in the theaters would be awesome too, but that because they did that for the record of memories, but for the actual yeah, I'm well, I mean, it's been a lot easier, I guess, because a lot of groups are now doing live streams from locations, but like timing some theaters wouldn't be open, you know, timing-wise, watching it in real time, we could do from the undisclosed locations or from my house when during COVID and we had the you know, that's when I was buying the ticket from the website and we were watching at home, but we were up at like what four in the morning. Oh yeah, you know, we were awake early. We were like, oh my god. So that's why I'm thinking the the thing in theaters might be a little harder to do in actual live time. Because some theaters just do not open at four in the morning.
SPEAKER_02So you know, which they can, you know, rerun it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's true. Which but I want to see the live live live live.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, we want to see that live live, definitely. Definitely.
SPEAKER_01If I'm not allowed to be there watching, I want to see in real time.
International Ticket Dilemmas
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So we'll see. Yeah. We'll see. We're hoping for a live stream for their last show. Just like they did a live stream when they when during pandemic, they did that. And that was great. Some fans were like, you know what? I think that time where they did, you know, that concert by themselves, that was it. That was the last Odyssey, as some people were saying, that this is just right now, like, um, yeah. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, it's just uh one of our friends was saying, the announcement I've been waiting for, but also dreading. Yeah. Because it's true, like, I don't know, it's almost like it was more exciting, this anticipation of when could this happen? Because they're only on hiatus and everything, you know what I mean? So now this is like boom, final done. It it is a shock. So I get what she's saying. Looking forward to it, but dreading it all at the same time. And she is actually a fan club member. Oh. But because remember briefly right before the full-on hiatus, they were still letting people in the fan club and then they closed it off. She got in. But it's that age-old problem of she's not actually a resident of Japan. So even if she could possibly get the tickets, are they any good? Can she use them? Because there was that whole kibosh with another group where international fans came and couldn't get in because they weren't residents, and so like the whole massive that who even knows if she could go to the show.
SPEAKER_02Can she even go because she doesn't have a actual resident?
SPEAKER_01Japanese, you know, ID. So, like you said, if they do miraculously have tickets available and they open them to international fans, right? Like, is there gonna be special stipulations, you know? Like what exactly is gonna happen?
SPEAKER_02If could we go over there happen? There should be a different line for international because I'm sure they're gonna not I don't they may not be in the same section as the Japanese fans. I'm saying they might keep you separated if that does happen. Because of course they wanna give the fan club big dibs on where to sit. But if it's lottery, which ha which is pretty it's a common thing over there, um, you probably don't know where you're gonna end up. So that's another thing.
SPEAKER_01Very true.
SPEAKER_02That you can, yeah, you you have a ticket, but it's lottery, so you're gonna be sitting whatever they give you.
SPEAKER_01You're either front row or nosebleeds, yeah. You get what you get.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. So it's like it could be like that. I mean, it's probably like Paul, even fan club are saying, well, even if we our fan club, we're don't know if we're gonna get a ticket.
Travel, Costs, And Creative Plans
SPEAKER_01No, I I was telling you, some girl was like, I've been a fan club member for years, and there was one concert one year, some girl got all three nights and I got nothing. And she was like, So even being in the fan club doesn't guarantee you getting in and and being able to go. So yeah. Yeah. I'm not a hundred percent sure how it works. So yeah, and because that was a translation of someone's maybe the, you know, there's a little something missing in how that was being said, but to me it sounded like, yeah, you sign up, either you get tickets or you don't, and some people get every show they go in for, and some people get nothing, and you know, that's sort of like going through Ticketmaster, actually. You can get in the queue right on the second it opens, and then you randomly get chosen to be number one hundred and forty thousand for a 10,000 capacity venue, and you're like, well, I guess I'll not go into that show, but so yeah, I don't know how how their lottery actually obviously some people are lucky and can get every ticket they want. I know some people get left with nothing, but exactly. We've been talking about this even from the very beginning before anything dates were announced or anything was coming out. Panic and I have always talked about, well, we should just go over anyway. Yes. We'll just go over, we'll stand outside the venue, probably get kicked out for loitering, but we're probably we're just you know what else can we do? Exactly. Maybe we'll hear like the mumble of Arashi, Ada She Bull Dream.
SPEAKER_02Well, you know, if it what which ones does not have a dome that is open?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I don't know. Because maybe we can go over there and hear it. Well, that's what I mean. They even from the outside, sometimes you can hear the womb. Yeah, and if you know the songs, you know which ones it is. Well, you know, at least maybe we could like get into a line and buy merch. Do they do how where do they sell the merch? Outside or no, I think it's outside. Oh, I think.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay, those are goals. You know, so those are goals. Those are things that I I know definitely a t-shirt I will not buy. I will not buy a t-shirt because it's just like yeah, I'm saying that then I'll go if if I do go over there and be like, okay, I'll buy the t-shirt until it doesn't fit me. I'll do that. I don't know, I'll do something with it.
SPEAKER_01I usually do the clear files and like the mini uchiwas.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's the last thing of RSH. You'll buy everything, woman. You'll probably get a mortgage or something, not mortgage alone.
SPEAKER_01Just max out the credit card. Oh my god. I know. Take the highest limit card and you go.
SPEAKER_02Be sleeping on the we have said this, sleep on the streets under a bridge with our wichiewas. My wichiwa. Don't take me.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna say, yeah, by the time we pay for the flight, which is always expensive from the US to Japan. Yeah, yeah, we probably will be on the streets. Can't afford a hotel.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Exactly. I think we can afford the only thing that we can afford, it will be like one of those cyber cafes. We'll we'll we'll just hang out all night. We'll crunch in some little room. They got food, they have they're not the best of food, but I mean they get food and they don't include it, just stay there for that night. I think some of them even have showers.
SPEAKER_00Oh, really?
Past Precedents And Possible Models
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I have to find out. Let's go scroll in Tokyo. We'll go to the Tokyo show. There you go. Yeah, girl. I have things in my head to do that are cray cray mentality of how to still go over there, kind of enjoy an RSH show, even though you don't have a ticket. I'm sure there's a lot of people with my type of imagination.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's what when when I went to see them in Hawaii, that's how it started. We were just going because we knew they were gonna be there. We were like, we'll see what happens, you know? Who knows? Well, we're off looking at a pineapple farm. Maybe we'll see them. Right? They'll be out sightseeing and we'll see them too. Like that was our whole thing. I was like, if nothing else, we'll be breathing the same air as Arashi. And that's good enough for me. And then the tickets went on sale and we lucked out. But I mean, that was originally the thing. We were like, well, you know, why not? Let's go to the way. Right. What have we got to lose? So it's the same thing. We'll just we've always wanted to go to Japan, Tokyo, so we'll just go and let it coincide with when they're gonna be doing shows, and who knows? Maybe we'll see their tour, you know, a little van drive by. Right? Because they do in a taxi.
SPEAKER_02There you go. Something, you know, we'll do something. We'll definitely do something. There's sight scene that we want to see, exactly.
SPEAKER_01You know, so that's the thing. It's like it's something we wanted to do anyways, so we'll just line it up with the tour that they're doing and then see what happens.
Capacity Math And Dome Realities
SPEAKER_02I'm trying to find out how did Bat Bonnie did his kind of like the residency. Because he opened it for only the residents of Puerto Rico, only residents of Puerto Rico were able to get tickets for the show, but he did open it for the international fans, and I'm trying to find that. And I like how he made it work, yes, because he then later, it was one month in particular that he had it open for international fans, but he had a package deal. Whatever, you know, if it was VIP or general or nosebleeds, there was a package, but there was a hotel stay and also transportation to the venue. So I was just like, I'm trying to find that because I know I'm not crazy. That did happen. That did happen because I was telling family, hey, let's go for this. And but um, I think it was a little bit too much because of course I wanted the VIP experience because it's Babylon, it's my son. Benito, Benito, you know, yeah, and it was gonna be in August. Oh wow, that's well, maybe that's one of the things that I was like, no, no, no, it's what yeah, so it is doable.
SPEAKER_01It is so well. The show in Hawaii, that's how it was for the fan club. They had like tour packages. Awesome. The rest of us though, like the we've opened it to the public. You are on your own as far as getting there. Yeah, but the hotel we stayed at did in fact have a deal, like we could rent a taxi to get us to and from the venue, because it was nowhere near downtown Honolulu. Of course. Not at all. But yeah, so they did, and like the the fan club people had a separate section that they waited in while the rest of us were out sneaking through the lines in the middle of the street and stuff. So they've done something similar before. Maybe this time it's sort of like in reverse.
SPEAKER_02Right, you know, it is doable. We'll see if like because the message is kind of vague. It kind of like maybe there's something, maybe there's something we're gonna throw you at. You know, maybe there's a possibility because more crumbs. Because I mean, we will continue to think about how to bring enjoyment. So this, I mean, um I'm reading that line, that last line, like giving that little bit of hope that maybe they're gonna throw something at the international fans. So I'm saying this loud and clear what our when R She said, we will continue to think about how to bring enjoyment to all our fans, and we will be thrilled if you could keep running alongside us right to the very end. So I'm still I'm still running along you guys because you're thinking about how to bring enjoyment to all the fans. So I'm I'm saying that very loud. Because this is giving me hope, Arashi, that uh that you will do something for the international fans. As you can see, you were heavily trending, but not in a good way.
Willpower, Odds, And Strategy
SPEAKER_01Well, it was certain it was mixed. There were some people who are happy, but it would I would say it's the international fans who have been unhappy. Yes.
SPEAKER_02I'm looking the only I'm I'm happy that you have seen other tweets, other posts that are half and half. I have not seen that at all. I mean they're like being sarcastic. Like, like I'm happy for you, but then it's then but it's but it's like I'm happy for you, but this that's the one that I have been seeing a lot.
SPEAKER_01Well, that happened last time with something else. Like, I was like, no, I'm seeing all good stuff, and you're like, not me. Not me. You get all the negative Nancy's, I've got a few of the positive.
SPEAKER_02I got the negative Nancy's. Uh, for some reason, I do attract that the saltiness. The saltiness.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm a Pisces, I'm from the sea. Well, so am I, but I try to see that half glass, half full.
SPEAKER_02That's great that you've seen that, Sarah. That's great that you are seeing that, Sarah, but I'm not. Sarah is keeping it real over there. I'm keeping it real on the way over here, too, but I'm not seeing that. Well, your real and my real are a little different. Exactly. Just like our Google Translate does not the same.
SPEAKER_01Well, it's just I don't want to fully give up on something that I've invested so much time in. No, this has been years, years that I've been following Arshi. And like for years and years, international fans got nothing. Yeah. You know what I mean? It was really took a long time for stuff to sort of break through. Like everything we did was under the table. I told you like you'd see something on YouTube, clips of a video, and then it would be gone because it got taken down. Right. You know. So I'm used to this sort of like, oh, we got a little something, you know, and I can't I can't tell you how many. We've got a lot of legitimate videos. We bought, you know, the DVDs of concerts, but like people videoed TV shows.
unknownThey copied it.
Nino, Acting Kudos, And Morale
SPEAKER_01And commercials. I mean, I you know, I admit it, I have got some bootleg stuff, but that's because it's the only way we could get it. Yeah, I know. We didn't have access, you know, and I mean, especially even just 10 years ago, the the access to these kinds of things in general was limited. Yeah. So things are a little more open now. And then again, when they the um hiatus started coronavirus happened, they released all that stuff free on YouTube. They put all their music out on Spotify, you know, and it was like, boom, we got flooded with all this. It was like, ah, you know, and it was so amazing. Like, that's why I was sort of like, I'm so invested in them. I've spent so much time struggling to find stuff, and then they sort of handed us everything. I was, I'm like, I'm just gonna keep hope that they're gonna just hand us one more thing before they go. It's been a little harder when they were like, it's only fan club stuff. I was like, well, okay. But you know, they're still there and they're still doing stuff, and again, the crumbs a bone here and there.
SPEAKER_02Well, there have been very so I'm trying to keep positive. Then there have been those orations who have been for the international fans, hey, this is what they said, hey, this is what's going on. And you know, June did something cute, and Nino's being, you know, sarcastic and you know, blah blah blah, and I was being just adorable.
SPEAKER_01He's being his usual self.
SPEAKER_02I know, so and shows got his serious news, newsman personalized going on, and and you know, Ono says something silly, and you know. So thank you for those fan club fans who have been sharing what international fans cannot get. So but again, you know, I repeated that last clause, so we'll see. Well, that's that's what gives me the little little bit of hope. Exactly. I'm still running, I'm I'm not so excited with you, Yara Shun. Let's see. What um, because you know, people are gonna hold you against that. I know that it's yeah. Don't it what has been flooding is not right. I mean, not me, not right, but frustration and anger of what's going on. So um I'm sure they're read, I'm sure June is reading it or not reading it. Because June probably is the only one who is there on social media, with the exception of Nino, too. Nino, he's all he's out there as well on uh social media.
SPEAKER_01I think I bought Ono will never no all you're gonna hear from Ono is whatever they do on the fan club.
Media Coverage And Price Surges
SPEAKER_02Maybe show, but he's too busy. You know, he's doing his whole thing. But um, I think Nino and June are the ones looking at this. June most most of the probably 100%. Nino will be just looking at me like, you know, given his sarcastic, like maybe like, look at this tweet. I look at this tweet. Your Nino, he'll be his own sarcastic, like, look at it.
SPEAKER_01Sit back, yeah. So tell me how you really feel.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Nino does whatever he wants, and I applaud him for it. And he's like, Yeah, I'm in a group, but you know, I I got my things, I got, I got my life. That's that's what we love Nino. Oh, somebody so the Exit 8, which is a thriller drama or movie, so there is a YouTuber that I follow. He uh lives in Japan. Um he's half Japanese, and he went to see the movie, and he was like blown away and how good this is, and people should watch it. And then he said, This the Kazunari Ninomiya guy, wow, which he was also he also talked about the um letters to Hiroshima. So he's like, I saw Letters from Iwo Jima. Yeah, okay, sorry. I never I never seen that movie, so I really don't know how to pronounce it.
SPEAKER_01It'll rip your heart right now.
SPEAKER_02So he saw that too when he was a kid. When he was like, Wow, when I saw what I can't believe he was in there, then I saw it on this. He's an amazing actor. He was praising Nino of how good of an actor he is.
SPEAKER_01I think I talked once about um when it came out, my dad, my dad, people may not know this, he did spend some time in Japan when he was a teenager. He went to school there for about almost three years. Uh he spent less time in school than he did actually roaming around Tokyo and checking out. He went to Fuji, Mount Fuji, he went to see the big Buddha, you know, things like that. Right. Uh my dad was a little rebel, but um, when that movie came out, he of course wanted to see it. He was very interested in in what it was. And that was one of the things he said was that little Nina Miya kid, he can really act. And I and that's when I was like, oh, he's one of the idol boys from the group I like, and he's like, He a what? I'm like, he's in a group, he sings and dances. And my dad was like, Really? Because he's a darn good little actor. And he is that movie, you've gotta see it. You're gonna like cry for a week. But it's he's so good in it.
What “Thinking Of All Fans” Could Mean
SPEAKER_02Well, you know, I told you I've been watching sis the all three sister acts because I I wanted comedy because I'd be you know, yeah, this weather and then whatever. I'm like, I need comedy. I feel like so blah, I need something to make me laugh, got some good feels, and whatever. Oh, I I know that feeling. I don't know. Maybe I'll see it when the family's not around. Because it's like, why are you crying? So it's like because I'm watching this, that's why. Anyways, so I saw this. The street, I'm not gonna say yeah, no, it's no, that's okay. Oh, Oracon posted this now. Oracon is all in Japanese, they don't have a English website. I'm gonna be reading a translated article that Oricon has dropped today, what it says Arashi's announcement of their final tour sparks social media uproar. Is the capacity enough? The odds are crazy. Security accommodations and transportation is also a hot topic. Wow. Even Oricon is like, whoa.
SPEAKER_01Well, because that was like I said, some of the people that I was reading stuff from are people who are in the fan club and are like, I may not get tickets. I can't I can't count on it. You know, someone got all three nights ten years ago and I got nothing. You know, I don't want to go through that again.
SPEAKER_02Wow, but that's that's crazy. As soon as the this is from Oracon translated, uh, as soon as the announcement was made, fans reported one after another on social media dominating X trend, which I did. I saw that, yeah, and I put it out there because it's like this is uh very um historical because it was that back in five years ago, and then they're back trending again, but it's completely different now. So, okay, so the final tour. This is funny. In addition to we are Arashi related keywords such as Arashi dates, Arashi concerts. So they're talking about what's going on on X Twitter.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Arashi Tour Dates, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um uh title, tour title, rank hat highly trending charts, securing uh accommodations and transportations options at the venue, beating wars, and racing prices are also hot topic. Already? Wow, wow. So these all these hotels were waiting for this that are around the area.
SPEAKER_01Like you said, we're gonna be under a bridge.
SPEAKER_02I told you we're gonna be on the bridge with our uchiwas and on our luggage and whatever. We're gonna be like those crazy people from KCOM.
SPEAKER_01We got some. I got a tent. I've got a it's a four-person tent, so we'll be plenty comfortable with only two of us. Oh my god. Any other international fans who you know we'll probably have to buy the tent in in in Japan in this card or whatever, anyways.
SPEAKER_02Let's see. Fierce competition, fierce competition is suspected, including the final performance. Of course. Oh yeah, of course. Uh the Tokyo Dome concert typically attracts 55,000 people. That's not a that's why people are cheating. That's not enough. That's not big enough. Uh, but the three performances will attract 165,000. So are they gonna have more dates?
Closing Thoughts And Listener Support
SPEAKER_01So some of them have three nights or two nights, but I thought there's only one final show when they go back to Tokyo, right? Okay, looking at the schedule, it looked like they're doing like three nights there as they go across Japan and then they're gonna go back to Tokyo for one last dome show. So I don't know. So I guess once the fan clubs do their lottery stuff, then there are general admissions again.
SPEAKER_02This is from Oricon translated.
SPEAKER_01So this is like I'm trying to figure out what exactly they're saying.
SPEAKER_02Even taking into account that expired memberships and new fan club members sign up after June of this year are not eligible to apply. Oh, ooh. Many voices of concern, such as will the venue have enough capacity? It's definitely not enough. And the odds seems crazy. This is like you know, voices from that they capture from fans, and then it goes, as well as many hopeful, such as I hope as many people as possible can go, and I want to see the five of Arashi one last time.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's what I was gonna say, because I think even some of these people who are are being kinda salty and bitter or or just sort of uh apathetic about, well, I wasn't able to get tickets before, will I be able to get tickets again? I still think that despite all of this sort of neg not well, negative energy, yeah. I'll say it. I'll say it sort of, you know, that people are going to they are going to do whatever they can do to get a ticket to see this show. You know what I mean? Because like that that sort of always happens. People are like, oh, I'm so over this, whatever. And then they're spending five thousand dollars to go see, you know, Taylor Swift, Oasis, whatever, you know what I mean? I know like that because like think about these big tours that happened recently where people were like, Yeah, oh no, I'm not gonna do it. And people suddenly were like, Well, I just spent the money to fly over to Europe and see them instead, or whatever. Right. It's like, wow. So I sort of see this kind of thing, you know, everyone saying, Oh, you know the the hype's dying down and people are giving up. And when it comes to it, I think people are gonna be like, I need to get a ticket to Hardy. Oh yeah. So yeah. Because that's where I'm at. Oh yeah. As as slim as those odds are, I'm still like, I I wanna get a ticket, I wanna go. As we mentioned earlier, even if we can get tickets, are we gonna actually be able to get in? Like, we need to make sure, as international fans who may try and do this, are we actually gonna be able to get in? No. You know what I mean? If we were able to get tickets. No. Well, that's what I'm saying though. No, because that's why I'm saying open it. Okay.
SPEAKER_02If by some slim chance there are tickets and they open it, they'll have to do just like they did with Hawaii, like you you you told me, you know. The fan club goes first, and then if they do have some to spare for international fans, then that will be a separate time to like go in. That's the only way. If they're not gonna do that, and it's just only fan club, no, don't even bother. Because you know, you you're pretty much you're giving them money. You're giving them to say goodbye.
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_02Then you're not gonna see them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. No, I now I was thinking about all the all the international fans who did manage to secure fan club things, like, gotta be real sure about what you're doing too.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Because there have been fiascos before. No, yeah, that's true. If you're fan club, but but you're not really in Japan, if you don't have a Japanese, you know, ID, then yeah, I don't think so. You're not gonna go in.
SPEAKER_01I wonder how it would work, you know, like um, because here, you know, you can buy four tickets. Now, as a fan club member, do you how many tickets do you have access to? So say someone can get a lottery and get four tickets. Is it as long as the person who bought the tickets could they have, you know, three international friends go with I'm wondering about that.
SPEAKER_02That is that's something that I was thinking of as well. Now, from clause written by ticket sellers, the person who has the tickets, it's the one to present the ID. Okay. Not everybody else. Just the ticket holder has to have the ID. Okay. So that's the thing. If you are a fan club member and able to get buy the tickets, and you're only one person, if you do want to make some extra money, hey, buy four if that is the limit, that is the maximum limit, and then sell the all the three, make some money out of there, maybe find some accommodation to maybe to get these people, you know. You can make money like that.
SPEAKER_01Don't quote me on that. But again, only if it only has to be the person who got the tickets. And I don't even know if the fan club, like, I don't know how it works. Is it only if you're a fan club member, you get a ticket? Like, you get I don't know how it works.
SPEAKER_02So I don't know how it will be for this one. They could be a ticket limit again.
SPEAKER_01Well, I don't I've never known how it worked. Other than like I know Japan's completely different.
SPEAKER_02That was the only thing it's completely different than US. You know? Because in the US you can buy as many tickets as you want.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm. Well, no, no, no, no, you can't anymore. Well, they limit you it used to be you were limited to eight, now it's four. You can buy okay.
SPEAKER_02Which show was this? Hmm? Which show was that?
SPEAKER_01When I was trying to get stuff for us to see a couple of shows. Okay. The the maybe and maybe that's just because it was pre-sale fan club stuff, because it was a thing I had fan club membership for. Yeah. But it was and when they went on general admission, the people who were trying to buy them that weren't fan club were limited to two. So that was even more bizarre. But I remember years ago, because when uh we went to see I can't it might have been Larkin Seal that we went to see. Okay. And we bought eight tickets. And we haven't been able to buy eight tickets for a show since. Because we used to get large groups, you know. Oh, yeah, no. Extra. I remember the five. I remember the group emails.
SPEAKER_03Hey, you want to get out? Okay, I'll get a ticket.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So no, those were the days. Mm-hmm. So I don't even, yeah, I don't even know if their lottery is for just you. Or if you can get more than one ticket. Ah, interesting.
SPEAKER_02You know, we'll find out, you know, if maybe you could just only buy two. Yourself and another. That's a possibility. Yes, it is, huh? But if you have, let's say you can buy four tickets. So we'll see this RC We Are RSH drama continues. As it unfolds, yes. I mean, they are thinking of how to include international. Mm-hmm. So I'm I'm very pleased that Oracon have actually posted this article on uh on November 22nd at almost five o'clock in the morning. On our side, you know, on our time, about this situation with Arashi. Oh my god. The drama. Oh my goodness. So that's it. This is our ransom ramble. It's completely about Arashi's comeback. Or uh We are Arashi Tour. Tour, yeah. And that one of my predictions is there. It's gonna only be in Japan. But I have two other more predictions that hopefully that will happen now that I'm kind of hopeful when they say thinking, and I am running with them.
SPEAKER_01I'll probably still run even after. Just because you know. Sarah will find out.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes you just can't let go of the hotel. Where is the home hotel? I'm going over there and staying for a week, maybe two, or a month. So are you ready, Miss Yeah? So say goodbye.
