Four Tracks, One Message: Own Who You Are And Turn It Up
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Feel the floor shake from four very different directions as we dive into HANA’s punchy Cold Night, i-dle’s inclusive Mono, Ado’s explosive Angel Seek, and XG’s trance-laced HYPNOTIZE. We open with battle-tested fan lore—storms, stadium lines, and those one-gallon bag rules—then move straight into the music that makes all the hassle worth it. This set is women-led, genre-hopping, and unapologetically bold, stitching together punk pop grit, deep house nostalgia, and new metal chaos with one simple throughline: own who you are.
Hana’s Cold Night hits first, all raw guitar and chant-ready hooks that turn doubt into fuel. It’s grittier than their usual polish and perfect as an anime opener, where repetition becomes a rallying cry. From there, i-dle’s Mono softens the edges with a velvet bassline and English lyrics that strip labels away. The monophonic vocal design—one voice at a time—mirrors the message: show up as yourself and let the noise fall off. It’s club music as a quiet manifesto, built for late nights and clear minds.
Then the room tilts. Ado’s Angel Seek ricochets through retro rock textures, scratchy vinyl patina, and new metal spikes, a restless sprint that refuses to color inside the lines. It’s a masterclass in controlled chaos and pure catharsis. Finally, XG’s HYPNOTIZE slides in with a slow burn that blossoms into 90s dance shimmer, camera-click percussion, and vocal handoffs so smooth they feel like sleight of hand. The lyrics say it outright—you’re under—and the arrangement makes sure you don’t want to leave.
If you crave empowering anthems, club minimalism, or a full-on sonic roller coaster, this one’s for you. Hit play, tell us which track owns your week, and if the show moved you, tap subscribe, drop a five-star review, and share it with a friend who needs a new favorite song.

Opening Banter And Weather Warrior Tales
SPEAKER_02Welcome everybody to another episode of Music Elixir with me, Satur She and Miss DJ Penick.
SPEAKER_01Hmm. To the point. Yes. Welcome, welcome. It's uh what? January 8th? February. February 8th. But we're gonna be lost in time. Chatting about January releases. Yes. That's why. That's why. My brain always like, yeah, January. No, February. Okay, never mind. Ah, so it's a music episode. But before we start our episode, Miss Sarah, anything that you will like to talk about? Anything that's going on? We did something very special this weekend. Yes, we did. But we should save that.
SPEAKER_02Mmm. Yes. So yeah, yeah. But it was fun. And it was most of the weekend we spent doing this particular thing.
SPEAKER_01So this was okay. Just a little hints. This was only on movie theaters, but have you noticed that uh even though we were not going to a concert venue, we still had bad weather? Yes. Like hello.
SPEAKER_02Like streaming cold and then snow. Snow. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's yeah, it's our typical. Is that just to let you know when we're so passionate about a group and artists that we're like, snow will not get on our way, sleep will not be, you know, torrential downpours. Exactly. Like massive heat waves, which is still going. We're going to support our favorites. Because we love them that much. Just that's the love of pandemics.
SPEAKER_02Actually, you know, it was funny that you say that too, because just this morning I was thinking about the BTS concerts coming up in August. And I was like, girl, don't remind me. It's either going to be extremely hot or we're going to have torrential downpours. I was like, girl, we better bring like big gallon bags to hold over our hands with our army bombs to protect them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Actually, uh the Gillette, you know, like what can you bring as a bag? Yeah. David's in one gallon bag. Yep. I'm like, family were like, why is this? Like, well, think about it, honey. Gillette Stadium is more for, you know, a sports event. And usually it's more males that will go to those events. They don't carry bags. Everything's in their pockets.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01So to move along the line, they're just asking those people to put everything in a one-gallon bag instead of like empty your pockets. And because that will hold up the line. All you have to do is just show your baggy and just go in. Yeah, exactly. So it so it makes sense the the one gallon plastic bag.
SPEAKER_02Freezer bag, whatever. Yeah, bread bag.
SPEAKER_01That's one thing to think about now that you you know you're reminding me that it could be also be raining. It could rain the whole week.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Because that's what happened when we went to see RSH in Hawaii. The first night was like 900 degrees, and the second night was still hot, but it downpour. I mean torrential.
SPEAKER_01Oh jeez.
SPEAKER_02I was like, I think my phone's gonna die. There was nowhere dry to hold my phone, and I didn't have any plastic back, nothing. I was like, oh my god. Yeah, we all need to be prepared. So that's I was like, oh, I don't want to relive that. So yeah, we all need to be prepared. And when actually that time we saw Pixie and Weezer, yeah. Oh, that was another one.
SPEAKER_01We were like, I'm glad you had guys had an extra poncho for me because I would I mean our feet were soaked, but at least we were dry.
SPEAKER_02I don't even think we hadn't planned. We just happened to have ponchos. That's the same thing. I did plan for for gin because I was like, anything could happen and torrential downpour then, too. So oh yeah, that that's true. We use those too. It is, it's definitely us in extreme weather. I I don't know.
Concert Prep, Stadium Rules, And Survival Gear
SPEAKER_01I'm trying to recall which concert we have gone to that it was like, well, weather's really good. Maybe not with no. Ah, jeez, I can't remember. I I don't think there has been one. Maybe Miyavi? Heck, maybe. Because I don't remember having bad weather with Miyavi. Maybe Miyavi brings a good weather. Because when we went to uh Wanoke Rock uh in at the paradise, it was like white. I was white knuckles. That steering wheel. I'm like, we'll make it, we're fine, we're making. I'm like, oh my goodness, I this is like the worst weather I ever driven into. This is crazy. It's not stopping. I know you guys were like, oh, so looking. Oh my god, that was crazy. It was. Alright. So um, yeah, we'll talk about that event, you know, some other time.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Our our experience. Yes.
SPEAKER_02For sure.
SPEAKER_01So we have today is all about girls, females.
SPEAKER_02Yes, it is.
SPEAKER_01Uh one group actually, it's now they have changed their name from one to another. Now it's ex-gene. That's just to let you know. Instead of ex-gal, ex. So yeah. Because of course, if you don't know, one of the members have actually transitioned or is in the making.
SPEAKER_02Partially transitioned. Yeah. Had the the top surgery. Well, I was gonna say two of the groups have changed their name. Because the other one took a G out of it.
Why It’s A Women-Centered Music Episode
Hana “Cold Night” Deep Dive
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Exactly. Because they don't quote me on it. They were like, We're past that era. Yeah, exactly. We're now mature. Yeah. So I'm like, good, I like that. All right. So absolutely. I know we're like being encrypted. Some people may know, some don't. But let's just start from uh actually, let's start with one of the girl groups that we have already made a deep dive on. Yes, we have. And this will be Hana, their newest song, Cold Night, which it was released on January 24. We're not doing uh uh pre-introduction since this is a fairly new episode that we have done for Hana.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, as far as covering Hana, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So we're just gonna do the deep dive on the song.
SPEAKER_02You wanna go ahead, Miss Tira? Sure, I can start it off. So I like the opening is sort of like this music synth swirl that goes into uh guitar punctuating this chant that they do sort of at the opening. Yeah, I really so you immediately are like, oh, okay, this is like a power song, right? Yes. And they they say this, uh, I think I'm a fool. And the music quiets down just to like this strumming guitar, simple drum beats, so that you're focusing on whatever the message is they're trying to convey. So they they start out with this sort of punch at you, you know. Yeah. And then it's like you know what I mean, just sort of very simplified. But then like the intensity builds up again, and they start punching out at you again that uh I don't know where to go, and they get this full swell of guitars, rock and guitar, drums, bass. And so it's really sort of old school sounding rock and roll, like the the instruments are a little less refined. You know what I mean? So it's not it's not that it's unpolished, but it's just a little grittier, a little edgier. You know what I'm saying? Raw, maybe that's what I'm thinking of. Yes. And their vocals are kind of raw too, because they're very I agree. You know, there's parts where they do melodious stuff, but for the most part, this is about sort of like telling you how it is, kind of thing. So I think based on a lot of the lyrics here, uh, they think I'm a fool, I don't care. Uh I've got nothing but this fire, I'll show you what I can do. This is like their message to you of forging a head, like despite what people say, facing the doubters, the haters, the non-believers, and being like, you know, I don't care. And and what I like about it is there's sort of this like, I'm not so sure about myself, but this is what I'm doing, this is where I'm at, and this is who I am. So I agree. Deal with it. I'm gonna go ahead because what have I got to lose? This is me, take it or leave it. I want to do my thing with no apologies. That's how this sounds to me. So I just really I found myself waking up with this one in my head, like, yeah, you think I'm a fool. I don't care. Yep.
SPEAKER_01It's a good song.
SPEAKER_02It absolutely is.
SPEAKER_01It's a good song. It's um to me, it was like very happy sounding, electric guitars. It was giving like uh punk pop vibes, kind of like um like Avril Levine sound. Yeah, it was giving me that was like girl power, but I'm grungy and I'm punk, you know. I'm tough, so watch out, you know, kind of vibes. It starts so happily, because it's some it's definitely a different sound for the group from the previous ones that we have heard. They're more like poppy and dancey, and like, or just they still have an angst, but more into like the dark age. This is like more, yeah, whatever. I just brush it off. I don't care. Um, but when everybody chants, I don't believe in myself, but I don't care. So it's like whatever happens, it happens, you know. I like that, like I said, the different sound, it's so different for them. I like that they're versatile, meaning that you know, we're not just only gonna be doing the dance and the uh you know RB and the hip-hop things, we can be also rock and roll, we can also be punk and in your face in a different way. Loving their vocals, this group always has really good vocals, and just it's a different feel of empowerment on this song. Yeah, absolutely. Definitely, it's just a different feel to be empowered, and I like that. It's like, yeah, whatever.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's the thing, is because like with songs, when when you have a a chanting kind of sound or a regimented kind of sound, that's sort of a combination of I'm telling you how it is. This is I'm set in my ways, and it can be rebellious, and it can be also sort of like I don't know, taking back ownership of yourself. You know what I mean? Like this is or my rally cry kind of thing. So yeah, that I I liked that about this.
Anime Tie-Ins And Empowerment Hooks
SPEAKER_01It was the Avro Levine. I do like Gavrilving. You like Gavra Levine, right? It's just like I love her music. Also, another one that is just like angsty, and then when she's like girl prowl is girl prowl, and she really brings it out. And this song gives me that vibe. I also like that this this song uh it goes for an anime, that's the opening theme for the anime uh medalist season two. So in the season two for the medalist. So this is good. You know, we have said when you hear some of these groups opening or closing for some of the animes, and the anime picks up, people get to be like, Who is the intro group? Who is who's singing this? Who is and they start gaining momentum.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01You know, we have seen that. So I am happy for them for this. So hopefully they'll get more people from like international fans who will like anime, and then hearing this song going along with like the anime, ha. I'm like, yeah, I hope they get you know more people following them.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, absolutely, because it'll subconsciously people will take it in and be like singing it and it's so pop curious about it. Yeah, it's like this, you know, poppy punk that it's just like, yeah, it's you can well, and that's again where that that sort of chanting style, it's repetitive, it's simple to remember. Yep. So people will be like, dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun. You know, you'll you'll it'll stick, yeah. So this is definitely an awesome tune. Yes, it is. Another one for a playlist that you want to be empowered, put this one in. Awesome. Actually, and I like that with my new shoes. Someone they're gonna walk all over somebody.
(G)I-DLE To IDLE: “Mono” And Evolution
SPEAKER_01Hey, go for it. Yeah, yeah. Oh my goodness. All right, moving on to the next song. Sure. All right, this is the one that Sarah was saying. They also have changed their name. Uh, this group used to be called G Idol. Now is Idol with the song Mono featuring Skywalker. Oh, wow. Now, since debut 2018, I have I have been very proud of G-Idle. I have be, I mean, they were even coming to the US. I even got my pen like my pen because I was gonna go to they were gonna they went, they were supposed to play at the MGM in Boston.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
unknownPandemic.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_01So I was just like, uh, but I'm prepared. So you know, whenever whenever they I'm gonna still use it, I don't care if they ever come back to Boston. I'm gonna use my old pen. Let me like, I've been with you guys since 2018. I love you. So hearing this song, I was just like, wow, because they have definitely have just morphed, evolved in so differently. They now becoming a five-member group because it used to be more, and just seeing now how much they have grown. It's I'm impressed, especially with this song. Song Mono. It's only in English. I love the deep club house, very chill. That right there, it just hit my like nostalgic club era. Yeah. Because I was like, I'm like, ooh, I'm liking this, and their voices are so sultry, but also with some power, just because you start hearing each member singing their line, and I like that instead of glorifying chaos with their music, it's just yeah, um, trying to blend everything in in the sound in mono. Oh, it's just I like the whole, like I said, the club sound, which is very synthes, you know, drums, uh, electric drums. I like that the the whole authenticity of the song, you know, like it reminds me like why I love so much this group.
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_01And you know, from the beginning. Yeah, they were like power and this and whatever, but this song, they're like, you know, we're different, we're changing our sound. This song is just like wanna bring everybody in that everybody should you know in their unique way is important. And that's what I took the feel from from mono. Very emotionally rich, you know, especially with the lyrics. If you're from the right or from the left, it's just like it doesn't matter if you're you're gay or straight. Yeah, I was like, wow. When I first heard this song, I was like, whoa, different. They would actually up their level as artists for me. I was just like, love it. It's this is an anthem for being yourself, connecting with others, and just loving without limits. Love, love, love. That's all I have to think. Um, I just you know, I can't wait to see them live again.
SPEAKER_02I know, right?
SPEAKER_01We saw them on KCON. Yes, we did so many moons ago. I'm like, oh I uh yeah, I don't, I mean, idle. I love you. I love you, idol. Idle.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, definitely. No, the great bass, mellow but danceable beats. That's what I liked about it. Like it wasn't a hyper club song like you were saying. Yeah, chimes and bells, all of their voices, beautiful as always. But what and you were pointing out each person singing their song their line. I thought that was very like pointed and a good touch because that made it mono, which as you know, means like singular, like monochrome, monophonic. They were being monophonic. One person, there were a couple of times where there was a little bit of harmonizing, but for the most part, this was about each person saying their their piece. You know what I mean? Well, singing their piece, but you know what I mean, like speaking out. So I thought it was very interesting how it was still very musical while maintaining that monophonic idea. So that was just that was awesome. And it and it took me, it actually took me a while to realize that. I was like, why is this so different? And I was like, it's because their vocals are beautiful, but they're each doing their own thing. So it it it was kind of wild. It was like this epiphany moment, this dawning. I was like, oh, wait a minute. They're not like doing their usual two, three of them sing together, and you know what I mean? So it was really cool. And then, like you said, the the whole message of wherever you're from, every day and night, dance to your real vibe. Yep. Like, turn the turn the effects down and let it all fade out. So they're like, take off the masks, remove all the the glitter and shine, and just be down to your essence, your core, your soul. Because on that, you know, sort of spiritual level, that taking away all the physicality of life, we're all the same. Yeah, we're all one thing, we're all mono. And so it was really I really liked that idea. Yeah. Of like, this is this isn't about being male or female, gay or straight, what pronouns you use, nothing. It's it's all about just being who you are in the moment. And everybody, if everybody did that, yeah, and was just happy with themselves and focused on themselves, we we could all just hang out in that club dancing together and not have a problem, you know what I mean? No ego, no nothing. So it's really it's just a wild message, and it's just so well executed. Like this is it's such a cool song. Because you're just you're like, you want to be a little dancing and a little clubbing, but you're also it makes you think. You know what I mean? So it's it's cool, and it's definitely great step for them.
Identity, Inclusivity, And Club Minimalism
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's the song is more of like a conversation. If it does dance scene, but it's more of like a conversation than just be like, hey, you know, yelling out like, you know, we're all like this, and what, you know? Yeah, exactly. Nothing like that. It was very chill vibes, just bringing out a positive vibe, positive message, and I'm liking this. And lately I have just been seeing for female groups that are bringing that message out. Just what I have been noticing, um, at least in the K pop K-pop. Yes, definitely. Because I'm sure there are others, but again, it's K pop and they want to keep it to a certain like idea. Yeah, certain standard, exactly, certain aesthetic. I find the correct words to be more diplomatic. Because you know, Mr. Japanic here sometimes just don't become my diplomacy's not so I that's why I love this so much from a K-pop group. I would like to see this more coming from the newer K-pop groups bringing this type of vibe. I'm sure there's some out there that uh because sometimes the algorithm is not there for me and I can't see it. But if anybody knows of any other groups that will have this message, I would love to like really do a deep dive and showcase them as well. Because they I bet they're amazing vocals, amazing, you know, in you know, um music with really good strong messages that we need to bring out more. Absolutely, than just like, baby, I love you, like oh my god, and you're so high, and you're making thick. I mean, yes, there's time and there's time and place for those, but I mean there's also time and place for songs like mono, where it's just remind yourself that you are unique, you are loved, and there's many people like you.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. It's like a a much mellower Lady Gaga kind of.
SPEAKER_01A message like without the in your face, and you know I mean we love our gaga, absolutely. We love our gaga, but we'll like to see other countries doing the same, you know. Not just I mean, we love Lady Gaga, she can do that all the time.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, the same thing with Badana Oswald, but just but like think about the the difference in sound between Mono and what Lady Gaga generally does. This song is just very much a gentle reminder to just be yourself and keep that, you know, of spirit of we don't have to be at odds with each other. Right. We don't need to be in your face saying, I am who I am. I'm just gonna tell you I am who I am, and you should be who you are, and we can still get along. You know what I mean? It's a gentler way of projecting the message.
Ado “Angel Seek”: New Metal Whiplash
SPEAKER_01Okay, I'm gonna say something. You can cut it out if you want to. I would like to see a starter group do something like this. Oh, good luck. I know. Exactly. Like, you know, Starter has completely changed. You know, they're a new company. Let's see if they can bring a different flavor, but then I don't know. If you hear some loud families cooking in the kitchen, I don't think it'll be honest. Okay. I don't think it got you know because they just gotta run the blender right now. Anyways, like I would like to see more companies having a group like that. Yeah, definitely, you know, or at least a song like that. Let's bring more to the audience this feel needed, which is so needed, desperately needed. Yes, anyways, moving on to our next song and artist, it will be Ado with Angel Seek. We all know Ado, she is uh very powerhouse, especially in the anime world. Yes, oh my goodness, in the anime world, it is just huge. So um, this Angel Seek Seek was released on January 26th. It's a very heavy new metal for me. This, of course, Ado's voice, very versatile, one that when she is like time to be yeah, she is there, screaming it out, giving her all. But sometimes when she wants to go mellow, she bring brings it down. Of course, very hip she is one that is very into the heavy metal, like I said, new metal, which is giving me that kind of like baby metal kind of vibes as well, you know. But I not I don't know if this baby metal is still considered kawaii metal because now the ladies are women. Yeah, no, I don't know, you know, but unless it's just the aesthetics. But of course, Otto's completely different. She's just for me, it's new metal with the electronics, also in there with the screeching guitars, of course. This song was a roller coaster because she will be like da da and then it's just like going off and then backing down. There was a moment that it was just like trippy with a hip hip hop like vibes. I'm like, wow, this is like all over the place. Again, like a roller coaster. Her sounds are so passionate, and the way she sings, it's just passion. And this one is definitely for me passion. So I think that that's another one for an anime. I didn't look into it though. Um, oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02Because usually that's most of what Otto does. Right. Like one piece and stuff. So yeah. And actually, it was funny, it made me think of uh Agretsuko. I was like, concealed. Right. You're our little red panda screaming.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Uh Resco.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
unknownResco!
SPEAKER_01I wonder if they do our new series on it. I was they just left it on a Yeah, I know. So that's it for me, my friend.
SPEAKER_02How about you? Okay. Now that you've said it, I do sort of I see the new metal, but I was thinking it was also kind of like this retro old school rock, very 60s guitar focused with strong bass, you know, especially at the opening. They also there sort of these random sounds start coming in, like almost like they were recording in just a regular room and random noises were happening in the background, you know, someone was like right knocking over a lamp and somebody like it was really kind of crazy. And it also had that um scratchy vinyl sound, like it was being played back on a record as opposed to, you know, so it was really rough, really raw. Another one that's very raw. There's a moment of sort of slightly demented demented psychedelic going on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Then back to the riotous rock and roll. And then at another point, there's like this ska sound, only like more electric even than ska usually is. Like I it was really, yeah, there was just a lot of sound coming at you. Yeah. And a variety of sounds. So it was really keeping you on your toes, and it was just, I don't know, this sort of general feeling of rebellion. Yeah. It felt very like, I don't want to say aggressive, but it it was. It was like emotional and like and so fast too. It was like you were just going through a range of emotions very quickly. So it was like, we're not gonna be silent and still. We're just but you know, we're not gonna conform to your sound and your style and what you we're just gonna be like, ah, here I am. No, no, no, no. You know what I mean? Yeah. I I really didn't understand most of it being all in Japanese, but like that was just the feeling I got from it was like, we're a little angry and we're gonna tell you how it is. But without being absolute, you know, riotous, crazy, angry sounding. Right.
SPEAKER_01It was definitely angsty, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was like you said, this roller coaster, because you're just like one minute you're feeling and and like da da da da.
Raw Production, Psychedelic Turns, Controlled Chaos
SPEAKER_01Yeah, what is happening? Like you're going to be like, Angel Seeker, you're seeking that angel, so that's why you're like frantically like looking for this. I didn't find out anything about uh on Angel Seek being for an anime. I could be wrong, because I was just doing a real quick search. But I mean, yeah, the song is explosive. Absolutely. It's one of it's explosive.
SPEAKER_02So if you're feeling a little edgy and yeah, angry, give it a listen. Oh yeah. Well, rock out, definitely. Yeah. But there's just definitely so a lot going on in it. Yeah, roller coaster. Yeah, exactly. Well, and like I said, just sound wise, because I was like, it's it totally sounded like they were recording in someone's living room and their family was doing what they wanted in the background because it wasn't even it wasn't even like musically instrumental sounds that I could pick out, it was just this general noise. Like I was like, what is what's back there?
SPEAKER_01What is that? I was trying to find stuff. I heard more of Otto's voice that I yeah, like him pick up any of the instrumentation. Right. Very vague. I don't know if it was just a production.
SPEAKER_02Well, I think it was definitely like on purpose because again, that scratchy vinyl sound was also that's it's part of the the angsty and the like stuff's just going on around me, and right here it is, boom, raw, out on the table for you to hear, you know. So so I think it it had purpose, it was just so random. Yeah, and like I said, with um with my headphones, I just kept trying to figure out exactly what I was hearing, and I couldn't.
XG “Hypnotize”: 90s Club Trance Pull
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's auto for you. That's auto for you, and that's why she's so popular. That's why her music is so popular. Moving on to the next song. Yes, all right. I love this girl girl by so butt. This XG's hypnotize. Oh okay, you go ahead first. Well, you know what? I'm not gonna Yeah, go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's got the slow, even paced, sort of gentle opening, right? Yep, and they're lulling you into this trance, and then it goes like full 90s dance disco synth drums. After about a minute, there starts to be like camera clicking sounds in it, like a camera shutter clicking. Interesting. My thing with this song, right, is like there's no hidden agenda about it. It's all it's all in English, right? Yes.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_02So I was like, am I right about that? Yeah. So they just come right out and tell you, I'm gonna hypnotize hypnotize you with my eyes. You are hypnotized. You will do what I want, I will put you under my spell, nothing you can do about it. And you're not gonna fight it, you're just gonna go with it. So this one is uh very much like Hana song and like idol's song. It it just sort of comes right out and tells you what it's all about. So musically, it's it's this dance club trance music that you you just get sucked into, and it's just very much putting you in this hypnotized state. And their voices, the way they vocally go up and down a little, and like, huh, you know, you're like, what is happening? What are they doing? They are, they're hypnotizing you. Nothing you can do about it. So I mean, there's I was like, there's not a whole lot I can say about this because it's just so up front in your face, telling you how it is. It's that simple. Just gonna hypnotize you with my whole way of being.
SPEAKER_01I knew that I I this was one that I'm like, I'll bet Sarah's gonna say the same thing I'm thinking right now, because this one is comp it's that vibe that we love. It's that sound that we love, and I'm like, I'm sure we're gonna vibe. We're gonna be saying the same thing. So I'm repeating almost what Sarah says with my from my notes, because this is a very deep house, nostalgic, just like idol for me. Nostalgic club dance, love, love, love, love, love. I mean, the heavy synth, the different grooves, I mean, another one that also has a roller coaster for me feel their blend of voices. Oh my goodness. I like like okay, so when G Idol were when idol were doing their you know solo parts to like you said, kind of the mono part. But when it comes to XG, it's just like they blend one girl with another member, with another member, another member, again to hypnotize you and kind of like what just happened? Did I just did I heard Ocona or did I hurt another member? It's like it was slowly just transition to so good. Each sound, yeah. And you have some that sing like like like beauty, it's just like sing beauty. It's for me just sing beauty, you know, no, not like they sing beautiful, it's just singing beauty. And some sound like with the attitude, but not like uh, but it's just giving you that enough tune. Some have the sultriness that it's like police, I'm sweating. Like, come on, it's like what goosebumps everywhere, and it's just uh, it just hit everything hit for me. The trance sound from the music, the arrangement, and their voices. Yes, it's definitely I'm hypnotized. It's just what the song says. Hypnotize you. No hidden agenda here. I was just like, this song is on point from the you know, some people are like, well, I'm not gonna understand them. I'm like, the title says it all, they're gonna hypnotize you. And you know, it's just like just be aware that song is just the name, it's not just because of name. They're going to hypnotize you, so they you be warned, hypnotized, stating a fact, you will be hypnotized. We have been warned. That's that, you know, you're gonna be hypnotized because oh my god, love, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, and that's why I was saying though, is like I don't know what to say about it because it's just this overall you're put under their spell. Yeah, you're in a trance, you're hypnotized by them. Yeah, and it's through the music and the the motion of the music and the voices and the motion of their voices and the melody, and I mean it's just it's an incredible piece because there's so much going on with you while you're listening to it that like once it's done, you're like, what just happened? Like, I I don't know how to put into words what I just experienced.
SPEAKER_01So it's the arrangement's amazing. It's an amazing arrangement because sometimes you're like and then the other one comes in. I'm like, yo, what what did just happen? You know, so it's and I'm like, ooh, what was that?
SPEAKER_02Love it. Yep, no escaping their their lure, their draw.
Earworms, Setlists, And Ticket FOMO
SPEAKER_01Concert comes up. I'm waiting for those North America to drop. And I'm like, can I be in like the fan club? Can I have a pre-sale for this? Because I need to go. We missed them last time. I know. Yeah, we slept on them tickets and it was like sold out. I know. And you can only find like single tickets. I mean, we could have gone, but we wouldn't be sitting together. That was a problem.
SPEAKER_02Well, it was also they were like 400 bucks for the single ticket.
SPEAKER_01Well, because it was a resale, yeah, but I mean the nosebleeds were just a hundred. But you know, yeah, master, yay, okay. So, yes, definitely. I need to see these girls live. Well, this just group geez. Okay. Anyways, so yeah. Can I say I love this song? This mono and and hyphen that ties have been like my two favorite from this playlist. Hannah, I like it's a different vibe. I congrat the girls for hitting a different sound.
SPEAKER_02Yes, experimenting and broadening their horizons, yeah, definitely. But I would yeah, I don't know. Uh, cause I'd wake up with hypnotized once in a while in my head too. Yeah. But for some reason, it was Hannah, and I think it had to do with the chanting stuff. Like it's a just a dun dun dun. You know what I mean? It gets into your head, so when you're trying to wake up to your alarm going did it fit right in, right? You know what I mean? But this one too, because it is just like Yep, here you go.
SPEAKER_01For me, hypnotize and mono have been in my head every morning. Every morning. So I'm like, wow, that's cool.
SPEAKER_02No, they're all exceptionally good songs. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And another playlist for every mood. Exactly. Jeez.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Okay. Anyways. Anything else, my friend? No, I don't think so. Okay, so we're gonna be ended up like that? Yeah. Okay, awesome. Works for me.
SPEAKER_02I mean, yeah. Yeah, that's fine. Because anything else we're gonna talk about is not, you know.
SPEAKER_01Not relatable. We already did that at the beginning. Inserted a little in the middle, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_01So, anyways, you want me? All right, go go go ahead.
