A final concert can feel like a party, a farewell, and a time capsule all at once and ARASHI somehow makes it all work. We watch the We Are Arashi 2026 finale from Tokyo Dome and hit record immediately, because sitting with those feelings in silence was not an option. What follows is our honest, slightly scattered, very emotional recap of the night that closed a 26 plus year run and reshaped what a J-pop goodbye can look like.
We talk through the moments that made the livestream feel huge: a Dome full of rainbow penlights, cinematic camera angles, drones, and those bold stage effects that swing from wonder to intensity in seconds. We also dig into the setlist pacing, from early high-energy throwbacks to the pair of emotional songs that detonated our tear ducts way too soon. If you’ve ever felt like one track can hold an entire era of your life, you’ll know exactly why that section hit so hard.
Then we slow down for the details that fans love: the outfit changes, the little bits of humor, the juniors on stage singing along, and the campfire-style staging that turned a stadium into something strangely intimate. Finally, we unpack the farewell speeches member by member, including the surprise moments when even the most composed voice starts to crack, and why the final song feels like a deliberate last gift.
If you’re watching replays, debating a Blu-ray purchase, or just trying to process the end of an era, this conversation is for you. Subscribe for more pop culture and concert deep dives, share this with a fellow fan, and leave a review telling us what moment from the finale you can’t stop thinking about.

Welcome To The Final Show
Hello, Oratians. Yes, you guessed it. Today was the day. So you're listening to Music Elixir with me, Sara Shi, and Ms. Did you panic. And we are, this is like our second time doing this. We've watched the final Arashi concert the second time around now. And uh went straight into recording because we didn't know what else to do with ourselves. I know. We need to talk about this. This is huge. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. If this is your first time listening to the Music Elixir episode, today we are talking about Arashi's just final concert. Yep, the We Are Arashi 2026. Yep. Today was the final show. Yeah. Tokyo Dome. Yeah. We're recording on May 31st. Which astrologically is full moon. It's a blue moon. So I know the whole, you know, galactical thing, you know, when it comes to Arashi and us as well. And when I put that on my astral planner, one of our many, you know, our Asian friends sent us uh we had these stickers that they made and they sent it to us. There was one mini one that I have not used yet because I was like, I'm gonna hold on to this one. It's like RS yeah, it's Rashi but in like in cartoon form. Oh yeah, yeah. And I'm like, I'm not using this one yet. And I and we had these for wow a few years now. Since since the yeah, since the pandemic. So I was I I have whole I've been holding to this little sticker of the five members. And I posted it on my you know planner. Oh so it's there. RSH. We are RSH 2026. I was like, oh this is perfect for that. So I definitely something told me it was like, do not use the sticker yet. There will be a a you know a purpose for it. Yeah, I have mine in a special sticker book that you can take them out of. Like it's sort of a plasticky page, so you can read them. Yeah. So that's where I put them in there for safekeeping because I didn't want to lose them or crunch them up or something. So they've been in there. But that's a good idea. So yeah, it's like marking right there. It's it's my astro planner. I'm not gonna I'm also using it kind of like they call like junk journals which you write things and to rememorize. You can put stickers on it. So yeah, that one. So I'm still working on that date, you know, putting like colors and whatever. So, you know, use it to like gratitude, thank you, Archie, for 26 years. Yeah. Wow. Wow. Exactly.
Full Moon Memories And Keepsakes
Twenty-six and a half, it's almost twenty-seven. Almost. So that's if you have been listening last year, where we were like, they ain't coming to the US. Nope. They're gonna do their last tour in Japan, only solemnly in Japan. We were like hoping for at least, hey, international fans, we have tickets for you. That didn't happen, but then also we were saying, please stream it. You have to stream it. Yes, has to be streamed. It's not the first time they have made a major stream, especially before that last one on December 30. 31st, no, 25th. It was New Year's. Yeah. So and that was global, so it's like, yeah, and you guys made it already. So it's doable. Come on. Well, they did they'd done it also for their RFS, and all of this was you know during pandemic, so there were no real people in the audience for them. So this was like they're closing the chapter, and I'm so glad they did it. Yeah, I'm really glad that they were all on board for it. And it was like I'm I'm suffering a little from like post-concert amnesia. Like I'm remembering bits and pieces when we were sort of chit-chatting before we started this, you know, just about what songs. When did you start crying? When did you I was like, I don't so we were not together for this one. I was no, Sarah was with her sister watching over there, and I was at my house. And uh, but I'm like, I need to text her a few things because I'm like so excited for this one because this is just crazy. But we can talk about it now. Yes, of course, our she's starting it very with the countdown and things that happen, and of course, they also share with us what clips of the birthdays that they had, which that was cool. They started with Nino's birthday. Yes, that's when they started the whole thing about like we're coming back. Well, they'd uh teased it in May of last year and were like, you know, this is what's going on, and then they were doing yeah, content for the fan club, so starting with Nino's birthday right afterwards, and it's like oh I we didn't get to see them. You needed to be part of the fan club. Fan club, yeah. So we well, we got like little 10-second clips that they post and say, This is what's going on. Yeah, and we're like, huh how am I gonna learn Japanese if you're not actually showing the whole thing? I wanna learn. Anyways, but you know that those clips were so cool. It was cute, yeah. It was so cute, just seeing them all together, it was just just so cute. But of course, how it started very galactical, very like they're galaxy, they're just a universe themselves, and with love rainbow, that whole thing in the back, big old rainbow. I'm like, yo, I'm like, oh my god, here we go. And of course, it's love rainbow, and everybody's just like I love the pen lights, yo, that was so colorful, and also they used the graphics used with the pen lights. I was like, wow, I know that
Livestream Access And Global Fans
it's amazing. They've been doing that for years, but this was like insane to see from the angles they were showing. Yes, it was like wow, just drones. They were using drones too. Yeah, I was like, wow, this is so cool. It it's yeah, there will be if you if you bought the live stream, you will be seeing it again. We can't wait to see it again. I know, and apparently it's actually gonna be dubbed in five languages. Awesome. So we can't wait for that. Even though we know a little bit of Japanese, we don't even get everything. Not no, and of course, when you're so emotional, invested, it's you just like you know, anyways. I don't know if we should we should we start with like some of our favorites and what we got emotional because you and I got emotional at one particular song, and it was just the fit this the sixth song into the playlist. Well, I think is like I started so excited, yeah, like the energy was exciting because Kotaba Yori Tetsetsu Namono. I probably said that all wrong, but I remember that I was picturing the video in my head, and I believe it was a song used for one of Nino's dramas stand-up, but like it's such an high-energy song, yeah, right. And then they did Lucky Man. I was like, oh my god, this is like from baby Arashi. Like I and again, I was seeing like the video. Yep, they were so so young and so sassy, so that was exciting. They did my song Troublemaker, Believe, which they had a cartoon video for, but yeah, song number six. Yep. The minute it started, yep, I was like, oh my god, I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. Yeah. Me too. I was like, oh no, really, already with the waterworks, but of course, you know, it's just the way they sang it, and it's all in English. Oh, we're talking about whenever you call. And it was their song to the fans at the time, yeah. You know, saying, We'll always be here whenever you call. Oh my and yeah, I just I lost it because I was like, This is the last time we're gonna hear this, yeah. The last time we're gonna see them doing this. I'm already crying, and this is the song that was supposed to be sang to us when they were coming to America. America. Yes, that was exactly what I think. Like, you know, I was like, this is what we got chipped out of. They were, you know, so gearing up to come to the US and sing the songs, you know. Hello, Bruno Mars, help the song. That's just oh my god. Even June was like, I want Bruno Mars. I was like, what? And they're like, okay, we'll make it possible. Yeah, this was them, they were gearing up with all the remixes and
Opening Run And Sudden Tears
the you know, getting everything together, coming over here, checking stuff out, and then yeah, yeah, that's we will never forgive 2020. No. So I started to cry with that song because oh my god, just hearing it live is hit so differently. It hits differently. Oh my god, Nino. Nino, yo, he did this Nino on this in this concert, just it it hit my heart hard. Was seeing Ayybatoon, I'm like, Ai Batun, you're my bias. But Nino's voice is just like completely different in this. I don't know. Uh everybody's mood was different, but everybody's voice just hit differently. Yes, well today, you know. Well, live it hits different anyways, you know. You're just and wow. I did my waterworks didn't stop after whenever I call because then Kaito, Kaito started, and I'm like, okay, now I'm lost. I was just ugly crying at this point. I was just ugly crying, and I'm like, oh my god. I'm like, no way, my heart, I can't deal with this. I know because that one's so beautiful and touching as well. Yeah, no, it's I did definitely cry for those whole two songs. I was like the composition of that song, and of course, uh Nino's part of that one. Oh, it's the strings, everything. The harmonizing, yeah. It was just it's so emotional, so powerful. Yeah, I was like I said, I was ugly crying. And I was like, oh my god, you guys gotta sing something else after that because I can't, I can't with this. Well, I was gonna say, that's one of those songs. If you heard a few episodes ago or a couple of episodes ago, we were talking about music and how it touches you and whatnot. That's one of the ones that makes me cry even before this final concert. Like, there was just something about it that's so overwhelmingly beautiful, yeah, that I just I cry every time I hear it anyway. So following up whenever you call with kite was just like you're trying to wreck us. Yeah. I was like, oh my god, this concert just started and I'm already balling. Right? Well, because yeah, the energy, like I said, it was so fun and some of their older stuff and the energy, and then they started that. I was like, no, it's too soon. It's too soon to cry. Yeah, I was just like, oh my god, this is so crazy. Why is it already when you said I started one of you? I'm like, okay, so I was not the only one. Yay, did it feel the same? Nope. I heard those couple first wavery doot doot do do notes, and I was like, Yeah, oh no. Yeah. Here it comes. I'm gonna cry. And then after cat, it was one love, and I'm like, okay, I can feel a little bit better. Okay, coming down, coming down, and then yes, no, oh, I love that. I don't I don't know if I remember telling you about this. The the very first concert I ever watched was this song, like in the concert. Yeah, and I was like, This is my band. I love this song. I was so happy they sing they they sang some that I was like, whoa, I don't think I ever heard that on a concert, but you know, but if you yeah, I was like, wow, I'm surprised about this one, and I'm like, oh my god, okay, go ahead. So I was I was like, you know, oh, they're doing the choreography, and that's awesome, and it's so cool. I'm like reminiscing about the the first time I saw this, and when the the music break happens and they busted out the glow in the dark, twirly, whatever those the streamers were like I was like, they're recreating that first time they did it. I was just like, oh my god, I was thinking June is like, we gotta do this. Why do I have a feeling June's like, we're gonna be doing this? Everybody out with it. I was like, wow, he's really making them do all this stuff. Well, I was like, I was like, Rachel, it's like the first time we saw it. She's like, Oh my god, it's so good. I was I was jumping up and down. I was so excited about it. I when I saw that, I was like, wow. Right. It's like June is like, this is our last time we're doing it. Well, Iba picked this as one of his favorite all-time songs to do. Oh my god. You know, it's so Iba. Well, remember they they released that that um digital playlist a couple weeks ago of yes, they each picked two of their favorite songs, and Iba picked that one. I was like, oh, thank you, Iba. He's my extra man. Come on. But like I said, those glow in the dark things, and the I was like, they're doing it. Yes, that was so cool. I was like, yes, okay, tears go away. I'm just gonna be having fun right now. Yeah, it just makes you happy. They guys are like, yeah, sorry, like rip your heart out. Here you go. Let's
Nostalgia Hits With Big Production
have some fun now. Yay! Oh my god. So that was that that was so much fun. It was so much fun. I was like, oh my god, just out of nowhere. It's it's seeing them is just well when they all tossed the little streamer things aside, you could see them all sort of smirking inside. Like, I think it brought them back too. They were like, oh yeah, those were the days. Remember when we had to do this? Yeah, let's go for it. Then it was like uh Bokuga Boku no sube te uh Sayonara no atode, then Tsu Sunago. Sunagu. That's from um Onos. That period drama that he did. Very cool. And that's another one of my favorite songs. I think that was on his list of favorites. It's so cool because it's like such a random sounding song. It's kind of country, kinda classic, kind of great movement, and I loved they did the choreography from like the actual video they did of it. Yeah. So that was cool. I like that on one port they were doing like the like the camera angles when they were doing their their part in the background. You see them. I was like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. The that is so cool. The screens. Everybody got this one. Don't forget to stand here so we can get that, you know. This is the last one, you know. But then, oh girl. I was just like, I got side swiped when it was what paradox? Paradox, yeah. Yo, and this was just like we're differing, totally different. They did like a paradox remix. I wanna hear this. They need to release this remix, not only for the last you know, concert. Yo, that was pretty primal. Yeah, uh the fire, the water, water, and it's just like somebody they're dancing on Rashi's tears, Arishan tears, or something, or they're on sweat. Let me tell you, June was sweating like quickly. They uh oh, all of them are like, I was like, whoa, June's getting sweaty quickly, because usually Iba, you see him already like drenched. But this time for some
Fire Water And The Paradox Remix
reason, June was the one that was like, oh, it was like whoa. So they probably enjoyed the the splashing around in the water, they were having fun with that, but yeah, the the water, the flames, the fire. Yeah, it was insane. I was like incredible, incredible. They brought some of the juniors, which they introduced them later on, yeah, yeah, with the showing their names on the when did I this seat? Uh I th oh yeah. So after Carnival Night, because of course after Paradox, yep, you gotta have another upbeat kind of song. You cannot just leave it there, you know? Yeah, need to lower us gently down from that. Exactly. We're still gonna be dancing, but we're not gonna be like too cray cray, and um that's when they actually introduced uh the juniors, which um I wrote down. We have ACs, Kansai Junior, and Tokyo Junior. So looking forward to these new groups. Yeah, let's see. Well, I don't think that's the name of their groups, it's just probably just like the
Juniors Join In And Party Energy
the sets, yeah. Yeah, um pool of kids they're picking from. AC's is an actual group, with what I remember looking into it. So hopefully the next day beauty group. Yeah, that could be. Let's find out. You know what was really cute though is you could see whenever they focused on like one of the members and you'd see the juniors behind them. Yep. All of them were singing along. Yes, it was so cute. They were I was like, they're singing it too. That's it. They don't have mics on, but they're singing. It's like singing alone. Because you can't help it. And I love Carnival Night with they're doing their little keep on dancing. Oh my god. Yeah, it that was that was so much fun. And that was one of show's picks. I was surprised by that actually. I'm like, really? Really? Like, show? Because there's no rapping in it. Maybe that's why. Could be more of a party, because it is a party song. It is, absolutely. You know, it's it's more of a uh a party song, and that's one I think I don't know. I think they've done that in every concert they've done. I'm not sure, but I think so. Orations will let us know. Yes. Um, then after that it was what? Um the energy song. Energy song, yes. That was another a B song. And then the MC. That's when it after that song, they're like, okay, we gotta, you know, cool off and whatever, and change outfits. Change, yep. Good. He did change five times their outfits. Oh, I can't even remember. Because it was just all of a sudden I'd be like, oh, I really like that outfit. When did that happen? Because first it was just kind of like the suits with the sparklys, you know, they were all the olkle. They all sparkle. There was like no everybody was shining. Yeah, yeah. In some time of material. There was one outfit costumes that they wore, it was silver metallic with the black and the neon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, those were nice. Those were my favorite. I love those. And of course, Iba was with the big balloony pants. With the straps hanging off. But everybody looked good in them. I'm like, oh yeah, absolutely. Yes. Yeah, those first suits were sort of just plain, tame, sort of, you know, nothing too too flashy. No. They always have sequins and sparkles, but like the the outfits themselves were pretty low-key. But yeah, those black and neon and stuff, those were wild. Okay, here we go. I brought down that on the the sube after the subetes, no subete song, that's where they bore the metallic black outfits. So that's change number two. Okay. Or change number one. They had the one and then they changed that to those metallic ones. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, because I I wanted to keep track because I was like, how many times are you gonna change? Because I was like, wow. Oh, they treat a lot. That's a lot of change. Frequently. But I like that uh that the uh what was it? They did like uh rock, paper, scissors to see which ones were gonna go change first. Yeah, who who stays here to talk and who goes. Yeah, that was cute. My sister was like, Oh, they they blew out Ono's hair again. Yeah, get the sweat out, dry it up. Everybody come back all free, refreshed. You know, touch up on the makeup, get the sweat off your hair. I know everybody come back all like pristine, like nothing happened. Well, I mean it it's his hair, Ono's hair defies the laws of nature. It's because even when they were all sweaty and they'd been splashing in the water, it was still poofed up. It's just they went and went and gave it a little touch up, you know, drying it up and always still stayed 'cause I told you in Hawaii we that downpour it took forever for his hair to finally start to fly. It had been pouring over like half an hour before his hair started to tilt a little. So what do you think of Nino's perm? He's done that before. I looked at him and I'm like, is that where Fuma got it from? Or is it or was it reverse? Or did Nino's just like I think I'm gonna get a perm. I th I think he wanted his hair to look nice and full for the show. Yeah. You know, with the perm it'll stay poofier longer. Yeah. But I I like that Fuma's been wearing it. Yes. I know, let's not talk about Fuma. But anyways, I just wanted to think who wore it first. Fuma. Nino. Oh, definitely Nino, because he's had perms before. Yeah. But I was like, oh, you're not gonna perm. Nice. Looks so nice. You know, they they all kind of went back to their old haircuts or some of the older. Of course, June, his haircuts have evolved through all the eras. It's always different for him. Yeah, he's he never had like like you know, Ono has that, you know, that one for for as much as Ono's hair is always the same, June's is always different. It's always different. I was been, you know, man, I guess when they have the earlier eras, everybody had a different haircut, but then at a certain era, they're like, okay, now I'm staying with this haircut. Yeah. You know, like because I was had that. I was always had that, yeah, for quite some time now. But uh remember the hose hair? Yeah, everybody had that. Oh yeah. Even Ono had the hose hair for a very brief amount of time. What I was just thinking, I think at a certain age, they're like, you know what? I'm done with that. I'm just gonna do whatever I want. Yeah, it was like after the debut, Ono stopped with that hair and went to the the short, spiky, and he never looked back. Yeah. So let's see what all those songs that were like, oh yeah,
Outfit Changes Hair Talk Campfire Calm
oh yeah. Well, before that they did um sketch sitting around that fireplace. Like they had the fire pit, like they were just hanging out on stage there. Is that when was that? After energy song, and I think after they talked. This is what I'm saying. I've got like I know, I remember when is the fireplace one? I believe that was for sketch before they they hopped back up and got into the uh high energy stuff. Okay. Alright, so yeah, you were right, it was on uh sketch. It was oh, that was so awesome, right? It was it was like they were just hanging around the campfire trading stories about life, and I don't know, it was such a really cool, like personal moment for them, even though there was an audience of thousands, millions, even if you count all the live streaming. I love the way that the stage was actually um made. They were all sitting down around this giant campfire, you know. It was like wow, and of course, the surrounding, even with the fans with their pen lights, it was giving that warm glow. I was like, oh my god, that is just like so like sweet. Well, like a summer night, calming and like just chilling out, just chilling out with Odashi. I was like, oh, this is so awesome. For us, it would be like millions of fireflies out behind them as they sit around their campfire. Yeah, it was so cool. Yeah, it was that feels so good. Mm-hmm. It was nice, very calming, yeah. Relaxing, calming, a good little interlude. Yes, before we got which I appreciate because they put me through emotional roller coaster here, you know. You hype you up, and then I was crying like a freak ugly cry and then happy again, we're dancing and whatever, and then they're making you laugh, and I was like, oh, okay. Thank you for the pause because that was just too much. You know? Oh, all those songs that like guts came out. I mean, there was other songs. Um, what was your next one? There was oh yeah, oh yeah. Yeah, with arm waving. Yes, it's like now we're gonna work out. Get up, everybody.
Balloons Over The Dome
We gotta get up again. Well, and this was this while they were up in their balloons, right? Oh, I wrote no. I forgot to write down where were they up in the balloons? Because I think it is, because I remember they were doing I love um after Oh Yeah was Hadashi no Murai. Yeah. And I love the choreo for that. The choreo is so awesome, and they couldn't really do it because everybody was hanging on for hanging on for the life. They're like, I'm in my balloon. Iba was sort of doing it a little in Ono. You know, you'd see everybody do like a hand movement or something once in a while, but that's that's like such a fun song. So fun. So I wish I wish they'd done the choreography for it, but they needed to be up and rotating around the stadium so everybody could see them. So I understand, you know. Junice's like, we gotta get up on them balloons. And show's like, This is the last time I'm gonna be on this thing. The last time I'm gonna do this. He's yeah, he's I think the least enthused about the flying things that they have to do. He's always tell when he was singing, he wasn't he was not looking down at all. He was just looking straight with this face that's like and then waving and whatever. He's not looking down for nothing. Nothing. Nope. Everybody else is just very relaxed, moving around, you know, just waving. I but doing his lean out over things, and nobody was there to pull him back and be like, Stop doing that. No, even Ono sort of leaned over and waved to people. Yeah, and he was looking down, like he was waving down a Nino too, like waving down, hey, not show. Joe was just looking up, I'm not looking down, looking up. It's like I don't like it. I feel, I feel for show because I'd have been like, are you crazy? I know, I'm not getting it. No, I know, I'm with him. I was like, no, not doing that. Are you crazy? This is insane. Come on, it's the last time. So then it was like Hatanaisoda, right? Uh a day in the in uh in our life. I love that one. That's another baby outership song. There's so it's always been one of my favorites because that's another one where they harmonize so well. Yes. And the the different sounds of the the song, the raps, and then the overlay of the harmonies and just beautiful, love it. And Ono did his little whoa at the end of it. Yeah. Oh my god, his voice is so awesome. I know, right? Um like when he was when I was every time I was hearing his parts where he really started belting out, you know. I'm just like, Oh no, I know you're done with the music industry, but we'll love to hear you once in a while do a song. Definitely. You know, so it's like be an Inca singer. He could, he could totally do it. But he just, you know, we know very well that he's like, I'm done with this, and I know the wind is not. But uh but what's awesome, right, is he didn't hold back. He didn't this was like every performance they've ever done. Yeah, he's just he gave it his all. Yeah. You know, a lot of people when you know you're coming towards the end of things, you sort of phone it in a little sometimes. Yeah, not him. Nope. He kept it going the whole time. Yeah. And oh I'm gonna miss him. Hey, they pepped it up with guts. I was doing the hand thing. Yeah, me too. Like the whole baseball thing and the finger wave to the center. Yeah. Remember when they did the everybody, we gotta you know, rehearse. You gotta do this with us. Yeah, they wanted everybody to do the choreo. Yeah, that was so
Classic Hits And Fan Choreo
cool. I remembered, I remembered. I was like, yeah, I was like, da-da-da-da-da-da. That was so cool. It was, that was awesome. That was so cool, and then it was what? Oh, when it went all blank, and I was hearing this TikToks, and I'm like, this gotta be monster because I see the clocks, the all those watches coming up, and I'm like, it's gotta be a monster. It just has to, it just has to be it, and yep. It was, yes. I was like, Yeah, yes, oh, that was so awesome. I love that song. Had like the pendulum behind them swinging, and then they went back to the clocks at the end. Oh yeah, love that song, love that song, and of course, after that, yo, I was like, Yes, you have to, because it's just like I don't know, it's a pair with monster, you have to bring truth. Truth, yeah, oh yeah, absolutely. It's like it has to be the and I was like, Yes, oh my god, awesome. And I'm like, can and I'm like thinking, okay, I hope there's another favorite of mine that is they're gonna play. But it did later on. But then after truth, it was uh what make you love song, yeah. Love song, yeah, make you love song. Okay, that's the translation. I I don't know how to say that you rabu song. Oh song. Um then it was like Wairo, Wairoudo A To Hato, Wild at Heart. Oh, okay. That I I love that one. That's the one, um, if I'm remembering correctly, they had the old-fashioned microphones and they were singing. Yeah. And looking out like they had for the video. Yeah. I'm remembering, you know, back to the that's what that's what had me all like, oh, I love that song. So after Guts, because on each one they started doing like bringing they took a break because they were like showing their birthdays. Forgot which birthday was it, but when they came back to sing monster, they changed the costumes. It was still metallic, but it was different colors. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So I was like, so that's the other and a couple of them had the big flower. Can never escape those big flowers. Well, sparkly. No. Oh, oh no, that was the last costume. Uh yeah, these were the ones with little embellishments. Yes, it was still kind of metallic material, but it was different colors, not like the silver, like the other one. Right. And this in some of the stuff on the it reminded me of like cake frosting, the little embellishments they had. They were sparkly and yeah, it was like little florets on a couple of them. Okay. Okay. I'm trying, yeah. Yeah, because I said I'm having I'm having that like, wait, which costumes? I'm crossing my my brain cells. Yeah. Because yeah, it was the last one that had those flowers. But um, that was me. For once it was you and not me. So after that, uh, what do we have to wild at heart, wild at heart, step and step and go? I was like, Yeah, that's my favorite. I love that one. We're gonna step and go. And then I'm like, are they gonna sing drive? Because that's another one of my favorites. Because it's like step and go and drag kind of co go, yeah. But they didn't. That was fine, but at least at least they did step and go because I love that one. And they had kicks, and while my sister's like, oh my god, Nino and the cape, Nino and the Cape. Like I said, we we connect everything to the videos they did when they were younger, and Nino had this big flowing shirt cape thing that he was like the whole video sort of in slow-mo as they're doing things, so he's like twirling around with it. She's like, the cape, the cape. The cape. That would have been cool if they could have brought some of the older outfits, but that would be cool. That would be cool. Yeah, and then that love so sweet. Mm-hmm. And everybody, I'm sure some people were crying. Yeah, no, it's definitely because that's from uh June's big drama. Yeah, and that's when they did another custom chain. This is the one with the what I call it, the corsage. You know, they were like, it was cake frosting candle outfits. Like wedding cake canoe type. Which works. I know. It was like the cream colors with you know, browns and yeah, that was really nice. Really nice suits. You know the blings everywhere. I wondered they used they sort of all complemented each other. You know, June's pants matched Ono's jacket, and Iba's pants matched Nino's
The Set Turns Toward Goodbye
jacket, and then show had stripes. I don't know. He was the standalone, but it worked, it fit with the other outfits. It did, it did very, really well. It was just so nice, you know. They had yeah, the brown and and the black and you know, very bold, and no, it's like off-white. Yeah, it was really nice, and now I guess call it lap flower on their lapels, the corsasses. I just want to call it a corsage. Oh, and then uh pickanchin double, yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, and then uh my girl, and of course they gotta sing arashi. Yes, absolutely. That's where it all started. It had to do arashi. Then they it was the the overjoyed with gratitude, kancha kan keke ame arashi. Yeah, as I like to call it, smile again. Yeah, that's a smile again. And that's when I started crying. Yo, my eyes out. I was like, oh, it's my song, and this means it's the end of the show. That's a I know it's like ending. It's like that's these are all their fate, you know, like people's favorites. You know, Stepan goes, especially love so sweet. When you hear love so sweet, you're um you're like, okay, this is ending. I don't want to end. Why are they singing the song now? It's just like it feels like it's the ending. Um, of course. Happiness. My sister was so excited after we cried. Yeah, we were like, oh yay, happiness. Uh to not completely leave us like devastated. Exactly. Let's do the happiness, and that's when they all started. The music kind of slows down, but it's still happiness in the background, but in piano mode, which is makes it more like what heartbreaking. Oh, do what this too. I'm like, oh no. Yeah, it's a whole different feeling. You're like, this is the bittersweet
Farewell Speeches And The Last Song
happiness. Like God, this is so like, yeah, so they all did their their thank yous and their farewells. June started with his speech first. The man was holding his tears. Was he really trying to hold? And I'm like, no, June, this is the time you cry. Because every time you always hold your tears, you're always like nonchalantly, like, oh, people can, you know, no. We want you, I wanted him to cry. Well, I wanted him to cry. He was holding tears, like to dear God, he's like, I am not gonna break down. Well, he's not gonna break down. He's always been like that. Like, I gotta be strong. I gotta be strong. But I mean, there was a point that he couldn't because his voice was cracking. I'm like, yes, waterworks. Come on, June. Give me the other, the ugly cry. I wanna see this. You're so mean. I want you to cry. I don't want the acting cry. I want the ugly cry of rail. But he really like like he really hold on. But I was like, okay, here we go. He's like, no, he didn't. I'm like, okay, whatever. Fine. Ugly cry in the background when it's dark, fine, I'll see you. Yeah. But you know, it just was like, you know, because he knows, you know, he poured his heart and soul to the group. The concert, hello. Yeah, producing every like getting all that stuff together and creating all these visual ideas, you know, just amazing visuals for us to enjoy. You know, wow. Yeah, he Yeah. And then it's like, okay, here comes Nino. I like Nino's speech. You know, he he was uh he was calm, collected, but he still feel like, yeah, you know, like this I know this very gracious, you know, gratitude to everybody. And well he was he was actually I I caught some of what he was talking about. He was talking about when he started. Like from the very beginning, his I think he was saying his parents paid him to go try out because he was spending so much time playing baseball. Like I could be wrong, but it there was something about him playing baseball, his parents giving him some money to I do remember he's saying Johnny sh you know Johnny a lot. He was saying that name a lot. I'm like, okay, and I'm like, okay, so he's talking about his junior years. Yeah, starting out and and working their way up not knowing whether they were gonna to get anywhere. So it was yeah. He was sort of reminiscing and saying, these how much this, you know, has just been his life. Like all of them. They've spent more time being Irishy than just being individuals, you know what I mean? Yeah. So but yeah, he was very gracious. And he was another one trying like you could see he was his eyes were red and puffy, but he was he was able to talk through it. Right. He was like he kept himself self calm, composed, yeah. But he was very serious. Oh, yeah, he was just like like he you can find not our sassy wise ass Nino. He was no being very sincere, and yeah, yeah, it was awesome, yeah. And then it was I but forget it. I was gonna say the first of our criers. Just when he got to the spotlight, it's just like I know I was like, he's he's not gonna be able to do his speech. No, he was already looking at him, you were like, he's just gonna stand there and cry. I'm like, nah, oh my god. That's when I started to ugly crying again. And he was like crying, and he's like trying to talk, and he's like every time he talked, it was like cracked in his voice, like and I'm crying because it was I and I'm like, of course, I might go. Oh my god, I love you so much. Yeah, but you know, he was again so sweet. And he was saying today a lot because I heard that word a lot. I'm like, uh all I know is today, today, today. Okay. Yeah, I think I think he was another one reminiscing about like it was tough in the beginning and getting in trouble a lot, like not knowing where they were gonna be, and finally getting their breakthrough, and all of them so grateful to the fans and to everyone supporting them, their families and everything. So yeah. But he he made me cry. He made me cry a lot because I was like, look at him. Iba always cries, and I can't help but cry with him. And you you hear the people in the background, I know Iba, that will be me. Oh I thought that they were gonna leave Ono towards the end, but no, he was next after Aiba. Well, because he's the other crier, and they were like, We can't leave. No, it's we can't leave in absolute breakdown tears. I was just like, oh no, I'm gonna do another ugly cry. This is this is like Ono. The speech was like, wow. Well, his voice cracked too, you know. Oh yeah, he was just like in the way they bowed to the audience and bowed to the members, yeah, and was like, you know, oh he but yeah, he was another one. I was like, they put the two criers together, yeah, one after the other. It was good. Like when he was tr starting to speak and his voice, same thing, cracked. Yeah, and he was like barely able to get out what he was saying, yeah. Had to compose himself and but yeah, oh my rip your heart out. I was like, I'm sure Sarah's gonna be crying. I was, I was. I was like, I was like cray. Yeah, I was crying too, because I was like, you know how oh no, you're free. You're free now. Well, he would say something about you know going on with life now. Yeah. Like be me now. I'm moving on to me. Yeah. But he was grateful and thankful to everyone, same as I, but you know, thank you for all the support and all the just keeping us going. So oh the the two of them wrecked me. Oh yeah, no. I knew when Iba was gonna talk, I was gonna be like, Yeah, because you know, that's that's how he is. The one that I was surprised with was Show. Because Show also had a moment where he was like, he was gonna lose it. Like I'm like, oh no, also show. What? What? But he was very grateful and he's saying thank you a lot. But uh yeah, he was gonna Yeah, I was all good crying with Show just because when he voice cracked, I heard a man in the audience, yeah. I was like, oh my god, there's that that's his fanboy. Yep. Well I'm I'm assuming he was you know thanking each member and he was so he was saying, you know, Iba Masaki, Yunami J and there was that long pause. Yep. Like he was trying to compose himself. Like he couldn't even say Ono's name because he was about to bust out. Crying. I was like, it's like, what's what's happening with the show? Because they use him as the anchor because he's so grounded and but no composed and poetic. He was about to was like he was losing it. You know, I was like, is he gonna say oh no? Is he and then he finally did, but it was like because he was trying not to crack. Yeah, no. Oh my god. That's when that man in the background was yelling his name. I was like, whoa. That wasn't a female, that was a man. Yep. That was a show fan. Well, well, did you hear it in the when show was like, hey, where are the girls and where are the guys? And the guys are like, whoa! I'm like, Yes, the fam boys are here. I love that. I love that he's like bringing them up. Where are my guys? Yep, but I really yeah, I I can't wait to see like a translation of what they are actually saying. Yeah, and then cry more. Yeah, exactly. Because like, like I said, they use show as the anchor because he's very well spoken, very composed all the time, except for today, because he was a little like shaky. The emotions are crazy, yeah. The emotions were high and with good reason, obviously, you know, but like I really feel like he was saying very powerful things to the people and to the other members. And I I was like, uh, because for him to to sort of lose it the way he did, yeah, I was like, oh, he's feeling this, he's really feeling this, you know. So it's like this is it, this is the actual final. Mm-hmm. Oh this is the final, yeah. Because I mean, when it's just the hiatus was different, yeah. They had a little like cry moment, but it's like it's it's just you know, we're taking a break. Now it's just like this is we're not taking a break. Yeah. You know, this is it for arashi. Yep, yeah. I think he definitely mentioned that it was 26 and a half years, and you know, he like he's like, This has been again, more of their life has been Arashi than being them. And yeah, wow, this is just you know, the end of an era. I'm I'm like crying anyway. That's why I got tissues here too. I know. That's why I have the tissues. Because you know, we're gonna start rethinking some of the you know moments there. But yeah, and oh my god, did they dance their ass off do those choreos, you know? Well, I was gonna say, and don't forget, after their little farewell speeches, they left us with their last song. What's five five? Oh, and I was just like, Oh, you know, and it's which tried to sing. Then when that happened, I can tell June was like, You're crying, but you're not showing it. Come on, because he was looking up like, no, get back inside, get those tears back in my eyes. He's looking up like he's trying, like, get back in. Oh, like, come on, June, let me see you cry. Cry, June. It's the only one I want to see. I was like, is June gonna cry? That was my question. Is June gonna be crying this time? He better be crying. So hold on. But he really like, mmm. Yeah, he fought he fought through it. He fought through it. But yeah, that so that song's just perfect for the ending because it is such a conglomeration of all of the songs they've ever done. Yes. You're like, you just hear bits and pieces of other songs throughout it. So it's like it was the perfect final gift to everybody as their digital single. I hope they do release it as, you know, something, but anyway, yes, their their final song to us, the final song of the show, of the final show they did. Wow. Yeah, like just so I can't wait for the the replays because I'm like, I feel like I've I saw so much, but I missed so much. Yes.
Replays Wishes And Final Thanks
You know what I mean? I'm like, Yes, no, I need to see it again. My sister and I'll probably watch it every night after work. Like, let's just re-watch it for as long as we can. Exactly. Exactly. Because I'm sure this is gonna come out on you know DVD or or Blu-ray, you know. So it's it's it's a final, but not really final because you can watch it as many times as you want till June 15th, right? Yeah, so so definitely if you bought your ticket, get your money's worth out of it, watch every replay you can. Exactly. Watch it as many times as you can. Oh because this is it. You know, cry as many times. I know, yeah. I I'm like, I'm just gonna cry every time I watch it. Yeah. But the difference with this concert as opposed to this is our she concert was like it was sort of like I couldn't believe it at the time. I was like, well, it's just hiatus, it's not really over, you know. Right. So like I was just happy through the whole thing, and then it was after it was done that I cried. This time I was like, I just start crying right away. Yeah. Because you knew you knew it was gonna happen. Well, I was I was happy for the first, you know, 20 minutes, and then they played whenever you call, and I was like, Oh my god. Yeah, no, me girl, I feel the same way. I was just like, oh, cool, awesome. And then it's like, why are you gonna sing this on now? Yeah, because it's just started to bring in memories, you know. This is like the time that I really started getting into them, and you know. Well, and again, the reminder that like they were gonna be at least touring, you know, part of the world, yes, going global, and then it got taken away. Yeah, not only from us, but from them. Yeah, you know, oh god. From June. He's like, I have plans, I had many plans. It was going everywhere in the world to get this ready. I know. Um he spent times, a lot of time in the US, especially in California, to get that ready. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Sorry, June. Well, my sister, when when the concert was over, she's like, you know what? We have to watch Diary Voyage again. Yes. I was like, uh, joke's on you. I star watch it. I was already watching it, try you know, bringing up all the old memories, and I was like, oh god. So yeah. We'll probably watch that, watch the live stream replays and watch Marvayage. Yeah. Like, oh yeah, I know, I know, girl. I feel the same way. But you know, they gave their all, they danced their butt off. They did. They did choreo that you think that they were not gonna do for those, especially the older songs, and they just did it. Yeah. I know that would be really awesome. Like the behind the scenes, you know, documentary to like we are RSH, you know, final. Yeah. Come on, June. I know you got something going. Another Netflix, you know, yeah, series for us. Yes. Out of that. Yes. Putting it out. They've been doing this for a whole year, planning this. Yes. So there's gotta be stuff, you know. It hope. Come on. Yeah. Yes, okay. So we're putting it out there, uh, putting it out there in the universe, or hopefully, or maybe we're just reading June's mind that he is half already prepared this, and we're, you know, it's not really, I mean, could have been the final concert, but hey, let's let us give you, you know, uh, the behind the scenes of to that concert, and that would be amazing. Mm-hmm. Yay! Yes, maybe wait to see a little bit more when they did the happy birthday clips, you know. Yeah. Stuff that, you know, fan club watch that hello we wanna watch too, that we completely miss out. You know, so all right, so we'll manifest that. Yes, yes, definitely. All right, June. I'm still thinking and talking about you. We love you so much. We love you all. Yes, okay, girl. Well, I was just gonna say so Ari Gato Arachi for so many years of wonderful music and entertainment, dramas, TV shows, appearances, places. Just thank you, thank you, thank you. Yes, and gonna miss you. I'm gonna uh we gotta wrap this up. I'm gonna be like bawling like a baby. I'm gonna be like, I'm gonna cry again. You're gonna hey, that's alright. You know, that is alright, you know. But yeah, you know, thank you, Arashi. Um, I'm gonna actually just read it okay. I I post something out on Twitter thanking them. I'm gonna read that because if I just say it from my heart, it's just gonna be crazy. I can't, I can't. So thank you, RShi, for today's final performance at the Tokyo Dome. It was definitely unforgettable. Um, I laughed, I cried, I I felt every moment with all my heart. Oh my god, no. That's what I'm saying. All I can say is thank you because I'm gonna lose. See, I'm like Iba too. Okay. We're the eye button on the book. I gotta think of June. Moving my tears. Oh, thank you for the music, the memories, the joy you have given everybody through the years. Oh my god. Okay, so forever grateful. Thank you, Arashi. Yes, no more gato gozai mask, yes, real quick. Well, my tears are running down my face and so Sarah is looking at me like you crazy lady. What do you mean I'm the one who was like, I can't even get out normal arigato gozai mask because I'm like oh my god. Okay, oh so fellow Oratians, we hope you're holding it together as well as we do. Looking at which isn't very good. We did, but we we we try to hold, but we okay, we try okay, we hold until the end. Okay, this is the this episode is done with yes, all right. Thank you, everybody, and thank you, RShi, so much. Yes, so uh just want to say until next time, everybody. Bye-bye. Bye, Janny. Oh, are we doing the levels? Yeah, we're doing the levels. That's what I do level. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell me, do this. Have you got levels?
