Can 140 anonymous fan answers tell you more about a record than a thousand hot takes? we built this conversation around what Bestie actually felt while listening to BE:FIRST’s Watch Me EP. We are Sarashi and Ms. DJ Panic, and we use five simple questions to get to the stuff that matters: what grabs you on first listen, what makes you hit replay, and what the songs reveal about where BE:FIRST is headed next.
We talk through the EP’s blend of familiarity and evolution, then zoom in on the moments that jumped out immediately, including the unexpected run of luxury fashion references like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermes. From there, we get personal about replay tracks: PAPER SCARS for its dreamy, bittersweet pull and vocal delivery, WATCH ME for its pure confidence and anthem energy, and CACLIOSTRO for production that scratches the brain in the best way. We also unpack DEAD EYES EVERYWHERE as a track that can grow with context.
Then we share what the fan survey says: which songs ranked highest, which BE:FIRST members surprised listeners vocally, lyrically, and performance-wise, and why many fans see this EP as a new chapter built for global expansion without losing identity. If you love BE:FIRST, J pop, Japanese boy groups, pop production details, and real fandom perspectives, this one is for you. Subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave us a five-star review, then tell us which Watch Me EP track you defend the hardest.

OK ASIA
Welcome, Besties, And The Survey
SPEAKER_00Thank you for joining us here at Music Elixir. I am Sarashi, and with me is Mr.
SPEAKER_01Japanic. If you are following us on Music Elixir underscore, that will be on X Twitter or on Blue Scan at Music Elixir Pod. I actually or we send out a announcement just saying, hey, besties, we're going to be talking about be first. Watch. Watch me. So I also wanted you or you or you you or besties. Everybody, anybody to partake on this conversation. So there was a questionnaire, five questions, and wow, we received 140 answers. Not bad. 140 besties participated in this questionnaire, and that's awesome. Yes, definitely. That is awesome. Because we always ask, you know, hey, this is an open conversation. And I think this time was I best more encouraging just because there's already the questions there. They don't have I didn't ask for emails or anything that we don't need any of that. I mean, if you want to, you know, say, hey, this is handle blah blah, that would be great. But nobody did, which is fine. Because I think people feel feel that if they answer anonymously, they're more free to speak what they feel about the songs or you know, of the question. Yeah. So yay, I like this. Well, you have to do this.
SPEAKER_00Well, so that's the that's the magic magic ingredient is to have an actual questionnaire.
SPEAKER_01Then people will converse. So I that hey, we're still evolving on this podcast. So from now on, if we are going to do that, we're just gonna go ahead and be like, hey, we have this questionnaire for these songs. What do you think? Send it over, you know? Yep. And that's awesome. But we all know, or I well, you and I know that Bestie is very passionate about Be First. Oh, yes, they are, and it because even any given time when I am on OK Asia putting something out there, they are on top of it supporting their boys, and that is awesome.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it is, definitely.
SPEAKER_01So as I as I mentioned, we're gonna talk, we're going to talk about watch me. Now, the past two episodes, we have been just answering questions. We're not we're not doing the whole, well, I think the song B B B B B Idium Ma. So we have changed the approach for the past two episodes, and it has been giving some good feedback. Yeah, there's actually more people listening.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think people like that sort of that format. They've been enjoying that format. Because it's yeah, it's more about just like the experience with the music as opposed to what is the music. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01So yeah, because I I think everybody knows what is the song about or what John Drive is about.
SPEAKER_00And well, people who weren't familiar with it, that might help a little, but people who already know the music, yeah, they're like, Well, what else? What else? So yeah.
SPEAKER_01I also think it's the answers might also or the questions might also spark like, really? Yeah. Maybe just go over there and be like, Well, I think when I heard it, da da da, which we had at least a couple of people participated on the J01. Somebody did actually one of Jams actually answered to our question. They went on X Twitter and answered on that. So that's yay. So maybe next time we'll do a questionnaire for Jam. And we can hear, you know, we we want to hear what they're saying. We want let's yeah, yeah, definitely. So also when we did the one for this and that, we didn't put a questionnaire, but somebody said, I like this. So that was it. So we went with that. I'm like, see the questionnaire thing is good. Okay, so we're rolling with it.
SPEAKER_00All right. Well, like I said, it is it's a little more spontaneous and a little more interactive. Yes. You know? Yes. Gets everybody thinking. Yes. Because even I was stumped a couple of times with questions. I was like, oh, I hadn't thought of that. Oh, let me think about that.
SPEAKER_01So now Sarah and I have different questions than Bestie's. So, Bestie, if any of these questions that we are going to answer, you will like to participate, please let us know. Yeah. It sparks your interest too. And you want to respond? If if you're like, how come that question wasn't on the questionnaire? I want to answer it. Go for it. I won't. We will love to hear from you in your own language. Doesn't matter. We all we translate. There's Google Translate. We've been using Google Translate, you know. We're not sponsoring Google Translate, but that's the most free available thing we have there. We are not really tight budget. If we can get something for free and use it for free, hey! And it works well, hey.
SPEAKER_00Works well enough, yeah. Oh yeah. Sometimes we've had issues, but uh but you know it gets the general idea across usually.
SPEAKER_01You know, when it's for free, don't expect something, you know. If you do, if it works like splendidly, hey, that's that's a total win. But I don't expect I don't expect that you know high quality for anything free. But well Google tries. Google tries. They do. Okay.
First Listen Impressions And Evolution
SPEAKER_01Anyway, so what grab you on the first listen of Watch Me, of the AP?
SPEAKER_00Like which song, or what in general happened?
SPEAKER_01Like you listened to the whole album and just the what grabbed you from it.
SPEAKER_00Well, what grabbed me was the sort of introductory song, the the first song, reminded me of like Master Plan. So it sort of took me back and I was like, okay, this is reminiscent. It wasn't exactly the same. But so it was a familiar sound for me. So it drew me in. I was like, okay, this is good. But then what I noticed was that there were definitely two tracks that were to me completely different than the sound I was really sort of used to from Bee First. So those really drew me in. And then so overall, I was like, there's a sense of familiarity, but there is also evolution going on. They're they're mixing it up a little, they're trying something new. And then the other thing I noticed, there's at least three songs where they mention like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes. I was like, what's with all the okay the brand ambassadorship guy? So that's how grab you from the first listen was yeah, I was finished. Well, because I was like in the in I think it's in Bruce Wayne's, you know, my Louis bag, and I was like, I think that's a reference to Louis Vuitton, whatever. But then like Watch Me, no, was it Watch Me? No, Cagliastro with the the new Chanel. I was like, What? So so those two hit me on the first listen. I didn't catch on to Hermes and whatever till like later listens. I'm like, okay. I keep hearing fashion icons throughout the songs.
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay. What it grabbed me was actually like their attitude and their growth. I mean, they've been together since 2021, but they beauted in 2022. I'm just really just proud of their development since that time. So that's what just grabbed me was their growth since then. So I'm happy about that. That was that that was that was my that was my my from the first listen. I'm like, wow, since then until now, development and growth. Yep, evolution. Evolution.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's like I said, that's what really really caught me. But like I said, when she was chanting, you know, the new Chanel. I was like, what's going on?
SPEAKER_01Now with that being said, because you weren't going for songs, which song made you immediately hit replay?
The Song That Made Replay
SPEAKER_00I actually think it was Paper Scars because I there was something about it that was very alluring. The the musically, their voices, the idea, you know, thinking about what paper scars means. So I wanted to hear it again, like almost immediately, and also that sort of just totally different sound from everything else on the album. I really just something about that song. And everybody knows, like, I'm the like, oh, I love those dance beats and I love the chant kind of stuff. And I and I'm like, nope, I think my favorite song is Paper Scarf. That's a surprise. The from yeah, right? That's a surprise. Because I'm like, I'm like the one that has the bass and the boom boom boom.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, right?
SPEAKER_00No, I really do, but something something about that song just I don't know. It it brought all kinds of imagery to my head, and I was like, it's sort of dreamy, but also bittersweet, and sort of I was like, they're seem to just so it gave you image, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So it gave you image. Yeah, it totally did. Nice for me. It was watch me with VI, just because of the the vibe, uh actually the vibe that I've been having lately, like the whole like look at me, you know, like just go. I like the parts like let's go shopping. Yeah, like I'll go shopping. Anybody says, let's go shopping. If you're buying, honey, go for it. Let's go, let's go. If any other members wants to go shopping with me and buy me everything, go for it. But it's because I don't know, for some reason I'm resonating with it because of me in radio, music, elixir, the podcast, you know, the creating, the communication, and uh that just matters for me. And then they're watch me, watch me, da-da-da. You know, so I'm like, you know, I'm vibing that because you know that's what lately my vibe has been going for me personally. It's like creating the programs, communicating with fans, also making playlists, and just you know, just the words and the actions just really resonate within me, with what's I'm I'm currently vibing right now. So watch me's been my my replay song.
SPEAKER_00Well, they're definitely the it's got a good like hook to it that watch me, watch me. Yeah, boop, boop, watch it. You know what I mean? There it is. It's a very cool song.
SPEAKER_01And when you're doing something, when I've been cre you know, creating playlists and whatever, and I'm like, watch me, watch me. So I I'm like, yeah. I'm kind of like be first, but not really. I mean, I'm in the media, I'm in the public, you know. So yeah, watch me, watch me. Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh. And that attitude just gave me the umph of like, yeah, this is why I'm vibe is vibing so much because it's resonating with what I'm doing personally.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, it's definitely a good attitude song. That was right when you were about to say I was like, It's attitude. Yes, it's confidence. It's like, mm-hmm, here I am, you know. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01Now, next question.
Confidence, Persona, And A New Side
SPEAKER_01Is B first showing a new side of themselves? I would say yes.
SPEAKER_00Because there's like I said, there's expansion going on, there's new sounds coming in. They're definitely the confidence, the attitude is coming through more. Like, I think that they're sort of noticing themselves now and being like, This is who we are. Like, you think about Bruce Wayne and that that idea of the superhero and then just the man, like fitting into it. So they've got their idol, and then they're I'm just a regular kid from the neighborhood, you know. So I feel like they're sort of previously it was about reaching out and grabbing the world, and now they're sort of like, well, here we are. We want to be part of everything with you, but we also know we stand out a little now, you know?
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm. So I like that analogy on Bruce Wayne because it's like you are a regular person, but then you have a persona that is out there, you know, vigilante, you know, that's supposed to be saving.
SPEAKER_00I know I I used superhero. Yeah, he's more vigilante, but he's he has no mystical powers, he's just he's still a man going out and doing something, you know, to better the situation. So yeah, right. But yes, and that's how the idol versus the kid from the neighborhood, you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so yeah, that's cool. Um, I'm vibing with you, of course. You know, they are you know changing themselves, the group is evolving. They're not just the sound, I mean, from from 2021 to like I mean, they had to change their lineup significantly. So that also is gonna change the rest of the group. They had to pivot to create a different sound, create a new dynamic too. You know, without that other member, they have to completely change not ranks, but like, okay, so now we don't have this tone, we gotta change it. We don't have this, you know, type of attitude, now we gotta change it. Like, not take the persona of the other one, right? But we have to pivot to what we are, and they did that yeah, just beautifully. Yeah, then this album beautifully, they have actually transitioned very well as as who they are right now. They they're doing a fantastic job, definitely. They are so yeah, showing a new side of themselves completely, yes, 100%.
unknownLady, okay.
SPEAKER_01All right, moving on to the next question.
Growers, Meaning, And Dead Eyes
SPEAKER_01Which song grow on you after multiple listens? Ah I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I because I I pretty much liked them all from the beginning, and then I slowly developed like, ooh, I really like this one more. So my example, you know, paper scars really just something about it struck me right away. Cagliostro really struck me right away, and again, because they were sort of more different sounds. So maybe I don't know. It's not so much that they grew on me, but that I sort of started appreciating everything differently for different reasons. Like, I don't I maybe I would say dead eyes, because at first I was kind of like, this one's a little like I uh menacing. But then I sort of was trying to think about it, and I'm like, you know, maybe it sort of made me think of like a reflection on society, how everybody's so busy being on their phones and on their screens and social media all the time that like you go to talk to someone and they're like dead eye like a zombie.
SPEAKER_01So I think maybe that one might have had to grow on me because I was just like, This what yeah, like when you said dead as somebody looking up on being on their phone, it's like why are you bugging me? Like, I'm on this phone right now. You get me off that trance, like, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they're just sort of like some people get like that. There's like way up, you know, like I know I get like that after a full day at work. Someone talks to me, I'm like, what?
SPEAKER_01When that happens, and my the the computer, the screen is like, you know what? Getting up, I'm getting up, walking away, walking away. Even my coworkers are like, I'm walking away. It's like, oh no, what happened? I'm like, I just need to go walk away. Okay, need to walk away, take a breather, and I do because it's like it's like this this this machine is pissing me off. I gotta walk away and then come back and tackle it again. And then that works, and then we're like, oh, okay, so this is what you want me to do, because you don't want me to do what I want to do. Anyways, for me was actually paper scars.
SPEAKER_00Oh, really?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, just because it sounded like familiar to the beginning, so I was like, oh, this kind of sounds familiar, you know. But then after repeat listens and just focus on the vocals because the vocals were oh my god, yeah, they were so good. At the end, I just started to sing along to it because it's like, wow, okay, especially the whole I need you. I'm like, oh, okay. So Paper Star was like, yeah, the one that I needed to re because we were listening to it, so going to repeat, and then when it kept coming, I was like, okay, here comes the the whole like sad guitar thing. I was like, okay, here's the ballad. And I'm like, let's see how this is gonna sound. I'm like, okay. And then again, I'm like, all right. So I'm like, you know what? Let me focus. I'm just listening more to the production instead of the vocals and the delivery. And I'm like, let me just concentrate on the vocals and the delivery. And then I was like, okay, this is what I needed to listen to, not to the production, but more on the vocals on the guys, see how they'll deliver, and you know, if I can hear the sadness and the sorrow, the sorrow, and you know, the longing, and the like, I'm like, okay, now I get it. This is what I needed to concentrate with on the guys, not really the music, because for me, composition-wise, kind of it's familiar.
SPEAKER_00But I think I ignored that when I was listening. It was because it was their vocals were so different. And like I said, the words and everything were what I was what I was catching, you know.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, so paper scars was the one that I needed multiple listens to I can get like, let me get what really is. I'm like, okay, music composition the same for vocals, nice, just really good. Very good. Yeah, when they do the I need you, I need to. Oh yeah. If I didn't grab your heart, I don't know. If I did not grab your heart, I don't know. That was really nice. Really, really nice. It was now which song will you put on the repeat playlist, on your repeat playlist? Which
Repeat Playlist Energy And Production
SPEAKER_01we all have that I have multiple now. You can have more than one.
SPEAKER_00I know it says what song, but I have two. I was gonna say watch me. And as much as I love paper scars, it's more of a certain mood. So on something that you want to play a lot, it would be watch me and cogliastro. Hey, are those the same?
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes, yeah, there's something about both of those. Watch me and cagliastro. And I like that they go like, you know, one goes first and the other one goes, and you're like, yeah. Exactly. I was like, so oh, go ahead, because I didn't want to interrupt you.
SPEAKER_00Why those two? I think that because watch me is sort of like that that confidence, that attitude, that it's an anthem. It's definitely got that, you know, type of rhythm to it. And I don't know, Cagliasho musically, the the production of it and the the way the sounds work together, it's just really appealing to the ear. I'm not saying like that it's pretty, but I'm saying is the the actual sounds, like the way it's put together is just it clicks for me, anyways. It clicked for me. Obviously, it clicked for you too, because that was one of your choices.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Watch me has been, like I said, my I don't know, the one that I have been, you know, clicking or just like it it personally, it's like my song. Uh Cagliastro was there. You know what it reminded me after the girls did they're chanting like this is the new channel, da-da-da-da, and then the beat drops. That beat reminds me of a song that I love very much from back in the early 2000s. It was from Kelly's My Milkshake. Ah, okay. But then it's just not my milkshake. So I was just like, oh, that sounds very familiar. What excuse me? Love. So I was like, I kept, I'm like, wait a minute, let me let me start this again. And I kept starting, and I was like, Yes, it does. Sounds like Khalis.
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_00Okay, I love that. Yep, that's what I mean. That production, that something about it catches you.
SPEAKER_01So, you know, so those two are like my I love the production of both of them. I love their lyrics as well. I was dancing, I was singing along. Hello, we're just doing that a little bit now. Of course, the attitude and the vibes, definitely, just because this just has that my shit don't stink kind of vibe. And it is great for parties. Those two songs are great for to party. Oh, yeah, definitely. You know, oh, so yeah, those are like the ones that are going to be uh my repeat playlist. Now I got it. Uh uh uh uh It's in my head. Now when you listen, if okay, so those who do not know who Khalise is or my milkshake, I will put a link somewhere. Just listen to it, and it's just that little part, it's just that beat that. It's very in infectious. So, you know, if you want to listen to my milkshake, if you don't know, you know. But check it out. Because she was she was good. She was good. She just didn't stay in the music industry long enough. Anyways. Moving on. Moving on, moving on.
Global Chapter And Marathon Mindset
SPEAKER_01Now, do you do these songs feel like a new chapter for Be First? I think so, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because they're evolving, because they're they're being a little bolder in their statements, in their lyrics, in the overall feel and vibe of the album. I think it's very much that Bruce Wayne idea, right? We are idols, but we're also just these guys. And we they're trying to to create and find that balance and project them because they still want to project themselves out there. They still want to to grab the worldwide global audience.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_00But they don't want to get lost in the mix, you know what I mean? So I definitely I feel some some transition here.
SPEAKER_01We are vibing the same. We are vibing the same. Yes, of course. This is a new chapter for them. Because you know, they have an ambition to go globally. When you just said that, they're like they're playing, they're mixing it up with mixing up sounds, just trying to catch people's attention, and just hoping to attract as many as they can outside of Japan. And they're doing it little by little, you know, just everybody gotta think about this. Is this a this is a marathon, this is not a sprint. If you wanna be if as an idol, as an artist, of what you know, whatever, this is the work. You gotta put in the work, you gotta put this blood, sweat, and tears, yeah, the disappointments, the the the not disappointments, the the the wins and the losses and whatever. So, yes, they've been around for that long. Remember, they were in that pandemic time, you know, they were creating a very difficult time of our lives for those who actually lived it. And, you know, but so as a group, and of course there were other groups that were also created around that time, they're not around anymore. We first have stayed, you know, through the rehearsals and they're in the long haul. We're continuing. The group has something in mind is to be recognized globally, and they're doing it little by little. Fans, thank you very much for doing that. Because, you know, if it wasn't for fans, putting it out there, sharing, and saying, Hey, look at this group, and also just going outside of Japan and getting a hold of radio stations, or getting a hold of me, you know, people, you know, or other radio stations, they're not they're going for everybody. Hey, listen to this one. Can your radio station play this? And you know, so they have a really good fandom, and for them, doing musical music or creating music for global spandom expandment, yeah, definitely. This this album will be the new chapter of their lives to reach to start reaching that, to start climbing that. Because this is not gonna be like, oh yeah, this is it. No, they're just they're still on that marathon. Yes, we're running. This is just the beginning. Oh my goodness, yeah, they just started the marathon, especially in the US. Exactly, yeah. You know, so I'm I'm very happy and proud of them. So and the fans are being amazing, they're just super supportive, yes. Yes, so now now this is a question, but I'm sure we're gonna be answering the questions from fans from from Bestie. Now, what are fans going to debate about these tracks? Hmm.
Possible Fan Debates About Collabs
SPEAKER_01Just an idea. Then I'll then I'll go and the answers.
SPEAKER_00What are they gonna debate? I don't know. Maybe the use of the collabs, that would be something to debate. Because there was a lot of like extra people on some of the tracks. So that would be something maybe people would be like, why did they use so many? Or why do they have this? Yeah, yeah. So because that was that was one thing I noticed, and I'm not saying it's a good or a bad thing, it was just something I noticed. I was like, there's you know, a lot of other people working in on these as well. Yeah, and sometimes that can be good, sometimes it can like create an imbalance in what's going on, you know. But luckily I liked all the songs, so it's okay.
SPEAKER_01For us, but I think that would be something all the songs I yeah, too many collabs. I want to say one song would be enough, but then of course I'm not in production in music industry or anything like that. I'm going by being a music addict and feeling it, you know. But for an E B, yeah, for just five songs, too many collabs, yeah. Definitely, definitely. So, but let's get okay.
SPEAKER_00It's not necessarily a detraction, just observation. There were, you know.
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_00If it were a larger album, 10 songs or whatever, you wouldn't notice this as much.
SPEAKER_01So we would like to hear from Bestie on that one, yeah, you know, but now I'm gonna be I'm gonna be talking about or telling you the answers of the questions that I put out there for Bestie.
Bestie Results What Hit Hardest
SPEAKER_01So one of the first questions is uh which song on Watch Me grab you first and what made you hit replay? So, so if there's five songs, I'm gonna go with the you know what came number five. So, what was the least one? Bruce Wayne, really, Cagliastro was number four, and number three was Dead Eyes Everywhere, number two, paper scars, and number one, Watch Me. So the song Watch Me was the one that grabbed the majority of the 140 besties, Watch Me seems to be the most popular.
SPEAKER_00That's interesting because according to Spotify, I was like, I want to look and see where Spotify Bruce Wayne is the most listened to.
SPEAKER_01You need to list, you need to remember that Bruce Wayne came out before So I wouldn't go with that just because Bruce Wayne was already out there before the EB.
SPEAKER_00So everybody had to listen to it. So then then it lines, it lines up because Watch Me, if you discount Bruce Wayne, Watch Me is number one, paper scars number two, Cagliastro number three, and Dead Eyes Everywhere number four.
SPEAKER_01So that lines up. It lines up. I know because I went to Spotify and I was like, oh yeah, duh. That one was the leading track, so that came out first, so it's gonna have the most spins. So I can't go with that. So besties, I feel you because I do feel the same. But for my number two, it will be Calliastro, you know?
SPEAKER_00So you'd switch.
SPEAKER_01I will switch. Mine will be like, watch me, Caliastro. Besties, I'm with you because that was my you know, I'm with Besties, watch me. Watch me number one. All right, so their second question which B First members surprise you the most on this EP, vocally, lyrically, or performance-wise? Now, all I got, the majority were just names. There was one bestie who actually gave me like a breakdown, not two besties, gave me a breakdown. So I was like, okay, cool, but I'm just gonna read those two besties because I think they they got the question. So for vocals, they have Leo, for lyrics, monato, and for performance, sota. And the other besties said for vocals, Leo, because they like their low-key voice. For dance, Junan, because he's like an emotional dancer, and then and sexy, and then for uh lyrics, we have Monoto. So that's kind of cool. Okay, so thank you to those two besties that actually gave me the you know, they're wrong. Yeah, Leo and Monoto were the Leo and Monoto seems to be the the most popular, or at least for this question. Now, the next question is if you had to describe the overall vibe of watch me in three words, what will they be? Now, this one I have to go to the questionnaire and just look because there were so many multiple answers. This one Bessie that said attracted, attractive, and assertive. I'm like, okay. Another one said cool, groovy, bop. Then one says villain, dark, and cool. Okay. I don't know. Villain. Yeah. Villain. Then we have one that says edgy, groovy, addictive. That's really good.
SPEAKER_00Ego, ambition, attention. Well, like attention seeking, maybe, like I guess. Wanting attention. Because that goes with ego and right, you know.
SPEAKER_01The other one is like, it's very cool. They are very cool. And then I have another one saying, born to be everything. Okay. Then one gives me this a sentence saying, Be first can be anything they want to be. They can be artists, singers, rappers, dancers, idols, and so much more. So, okay, that's more than three things. That's more than three words. Oh, I like this one. I mean, it's not three words, but their answer is they don't have to fit into one category. They can be anything, and that limitless possibility is what makes them be first. Oh, wow. That's a really good answer. That is a really good answer. That best is like, I love my boys. We have one here, unique, challenging, and incredible. And let's see, one more. One more. Cool evolution and originality. Wow. Nice, nice, nice. All right.
SPEAKER_00Let's go with someone else who likes the evolution.
SPEAKER_01Yes, that is what artists are all about. You know, they evolve, you know. They just, you know, that's what they do. I mean, that's what artists are. Okay. So, which track do you think deserve more attention from bestie and why? People were going off on this one. People were going off on this one. I have this one bestie said, Dead Eyes Everywhere, featuring ATL Jacob. The lyrics feel so true to be first, and I love how the song embodies the idea of be myself. It feels like such a powerful expression of who they are. I have another one that is also praising Dead Eyes Everywhere. Uh, saying, I saw the performance on the world tour and thought the choreography is was amazing. Another one with Dead Eyes. Wow, wow. I want everyone to watch it. Their performance is very cool. Alright, we have a paper scar. Their groove and express expressiveness truly shine in slower songs like this. It's incredible. I find myself just standing there, completely absorbed in the music. I'm honestly left speechless.
SPEAKER_00Alright. I'm with you. That that was like exactly it. It just sort of mesmerized me. So I'm I'm with that bestie. All right.
SPEAKER_01I feel you. That she feels you. I have another one that says paper scars saying, It's interesting how songs that can be listened to with vocals without rap are conveying to overseas people. Sarah's one.
SPEAKER_00Sarah's like, me, me. But I was gonna say with the dead eyes, though. Remember, I did say that was the one that sort of grew on me. They they make some good points about the whole because there's a line in there about this being a blessing and a curse. Yeah. So, like, yes, the the ambition and the drive there, and reaching their success, getting getting to that point, it can be good and bad. Like the whole persona of Bruce Wayne. Yeah, like the way everything ties in is really pretty, pretty cool.
SPEAKER_01So this one's for Watch Me. Well, Bestie says, Watch me, because I think this track will become a key reference for Be First as they expand their global activities from here on. Yes. Let's see. Oh, we got a Cagliastro. Woohoo! I was um I was truly amazed when I watched the world showcase video. But then I have another Cagliastro saying, to share this experience with a wider audience, I would like to post some fan shots footage from the world tour that captures the uh the crowd going wild during this song. Okay, so apparently Cagliastro live. It was okay now.
SPEAKER_00Something impressive, something we're gonna have to look for clicks.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna be looking around. Share with us, please. We will like to see. All right, another Cagliastro. It's just simply very fun and groovy, and not a lot of repetitive melody within the song with beautiful vocals and great rap. Cagliastra again. It makes me dance, and it does, it does definitely, especially with that beat. Love it. Cagliastra again, it's unique atmosphere and addictive sound, really draw me in. I think it deserves more attention from Bestie. All right, wow, okay. There's some people going out there for Cagliastra. All right, okay, so last question for Bestie, and they answer what does Watch Me show you about how Be First is growing or evolving as artists. All right. This one's I have paragraphs. Like, I have paragraphs. I didn't put a limit on it because I will like, you know, I wanted the fans to like put their heart out, you know, yeah, be sincere. So this bestie said, I think watch me shows how much they have grown in confidence as artists. They are not trying to cater to the world, they are simply making the music they love and bringing it to people who connect with it. That feels very B First to me. Nice, yeah, that's very well said. This other bestie said, I believe this EP allows us to express our unique identity, cherishing our musical roots while remaining true to ourselves as Japanese artists. Wait a minute. Is this one from Be First? This sounds like an what, right? This sounds like one of the members. Wait a minute. Right? This sounds like one of the oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Was that one you had to translate though? No, it's in English. Oh. I mean, it's not like they don't, but I mean, oh my god. Well, because sometimes the translation does make it sort of a unless they translate it themselves.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And that's what happened.
SPEAKER_00But it's still that's pretty funny. One of the it would be pretty awesome. Oh my god, that one.
SPEAKER_01One of the members is like, we feel that we yo, because it's not like one of the members' answer, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the way it was phrased, yes.
SPEAKER_01Okay, if it was a messy, are you fooling us? Or if it's really one of the members, oh my god. I'm dying. I want to know what it is. Anyway, I'm sure some I'm sure one of the members knows English, either one or two. Somebody does. Okay, now I'm just I'm fangirling over here. Just because of that question being answered the way it is, I'm like, this sounds like one of the members' answer. Okay, so another bestie said global expansion, but they enjoy it. We enjoy watching it even more. Aw. All right, so I want to catch one that has like a lot of talking. This one, I have like three paragraphs. Let's see. This world EP made me feel an even stronger sense of commitment for be first as artists. They are expressive, expressing the music they want to create exactly as they feel it, embodying it through their bodies, their vocal voices, and even their facial expressions. I feel like they have only just stepped into the starting line. That's true. And I said, you know, this this is just this is a marathon, not a sprint. So they are still in the middle of an endless journey of evolution. That is right. And I don't think that evolution will ever end. That is true, too. They are always unfinished, always evolving, and always moving forward. They are not afraid of change, instead, they embrace it, and because of that, they can become anything they need to be. I believe they will have an even greater influence on the world as they continue to grow. And I truly believe that one day people all around the world will be completely captivated by Be First. Oh my goodness. I'm gonna end it like that. That sounds like this fan is like very devoted and love, love this group. That's just probably sums it up for what you know watch me is about. So oh my god, thank you, besties. You guys are amazing. I mean, I'm I'm not there's a hundred and forty answers here. I just want to say thank you very much for everybody participating, all those people. Thank you, thank you, thank you for participating. I can't keep continuing reading on and whatever, but I think the last one that I just read just sums up.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that was a very heartfelt, very emotional statement. And yes, and very true though. Yes, you know what I mean? Like they are reaching out, grabbing people's attention.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, just like the evolution will never stop. That is true. It's gonna be continue, and it's a marathon, not a sprint, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yep. Well, like we've said before, if artists don't evolve, they sort you know, yeah, nobody wants to listen to the same thing over and over again. You want your artists to to grow and try new things, and whether or not it works, you know, at least they tried and they know where to go next, you know. Yeah, shift to a new direction. Exactly. But I think these guys have been doing great. Yeah, they're doing good. This is a really good, yeah, good, good album.
SPEAKER_01But I have noticed Manato is pretty much my main lyricist, what I have seen from for the uh that, and of course, sky high. Hello, Sky Hi. Hi. And I know you know English. Maybe that was his answer. No, the man is still busy.
SPEAKER_00Well, we've always though talked about Sky High has a very global vision. Oh, yeah. That guy is like throwing his throwing his people out there. Like I'm sending you here, I'm sending you there. We're gonna do this, we're gonna try that, you know. He's he's got a very global vision. Yeah, he he yeah. Without though, like totally transitioning to a Western idea of how you know what I mean? Because that's what they've maintained that the Japanese English balance in like you know, lyrics and stuff.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So without completely changing their identity, yeah, but you know, keeping keeping it appealing to all sides, all directions. So very cool. He's got a vision. He's got a vision. And obviously the boys do too, because they're they're going with it, they're grabbing it, they're running with it.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, they're you know, but he's he's just like, well, this is what's going on, and or no, this is this is an idea, or maybe just like what what what is your idea? What's what do you want? Well, let's polish it or do this and that. I don't really don't know, but I mean he's in there working with the boys. Oh yeah, yeah. Actually, working with older artists, because even the other artists that under his company are he's also part of it, you know. It's like, okay, what is your idea? But he I what I have seen, he have been giving the guys full free range of like, so what is your idea and what would you like to pursue? And okay, let's polish it this way and that other.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. No, he's like, here's the vision. Where are you gonna take it? I think I think he's he's guiding a little. Oh no, yeah. But definitely, like, he's like, This is the vision, this is the goal. How are you going to get there?
SPEAKER_01Right. I I'll work with you, I'll help you get there, but like I I think that the boys are the ones giving him the idea, and he's like, Okay, so let's polish this this way, or let's or what do you think of this way? Like, still giving them some free range. So, yay! Yeah, thank you everybody.
